Chenbro has announced the launch of another barebone rack-mount server system called the RB133G13-U10. The system is a 1U server with an integrated dual Xeon motherboard pre-fitted from the factory. It offers support for Intel VROC, Apache Pass, and Redfish compliance.

Chenbro says that the machine is ready for scalable storage server set up and is available globally right now. It offers support for ten hot-swappable NVMe U.2 drives allow users to create an all-flash array. It would also support tiered virtualized storage applications for Enterprise users. Chenbro says that the server system is ideal for high-performance applications like software-defined storage, virtualization, HPC, cloud computing, and SaaS.

It also features end-to-end security and promises easy management. The custom 1U chassis is ready to install a pair of Intel Xeon Scalable processors with up to 28-cores and a 165W TDP. It will support a maximum of 2TB of DDR4 memory, dual 10GbE connectivity, and has a single PCI-E Gen 3 x16 HH/HL expansion slot.

The mid-tier Oculus Go headset is being phased out and discontinued, and the Rift and Quest are taking over.

Oculus recently confirmed its Go all-in-one VR headset is going the way of the dodo and soon will be extinct. The reality is the Oculus Go is obsolete, complete with middling specs and limited 3-degrees-of-freedom tracking.

"You've told us loud and clear that 6DOF feels like the future of VR. That's why we're going all-in, and we won't be shipping any more 3DOF VR products. We'll end sales of Oculus Go headsets this year as we double down on improving our offerings for Quest and Rift," the company said in the announcement post.

One of the more appealing things about an Apple Mac computer of any sort that is powered by Intel processors is that it doesn't stick the user with macOS alone. Mac users can install a copy of Windows on the computer via Boot Camp mode and have the best of both worlds. However, that will all change with Apple announcing during WWDC 2020 that it would be rolling out new Mac computers powered by ARM processors.

Once the ARM-based Mac computers are available, they will no longer be able to run Windows in Boot Camp mode. The reason for this falls on Microsoft's shoulders, not Apple. Microsoft will only license Windows 10 on ARM to PC makers who preinstall it on new hardware.

The version of Windows 10 that runs on ARM computers isn't available for licensing or installation via other methods. The Verge asked a Microsoft spokesperson if the software giant intended to change its licensing agreement, so Windows 10 can be supported on the new ARM-powered Mac computers. Unsurprisingly, the spokesperson only said that it licensed Windows 10 on ARM to OEMs only, and "we have nothing further to share at this time."

More evidence of the low-cost next-gen Xbox has popped up in official Microsoft source code, this time in the Xbox Development Kit environment.

Microsoft may release two next-gen Xbox consoles this holiday season: The beastly 12TFLOP Xbox Series X (codenamed Anaconda), and a cheaper, less-powerful Xbox Series S (codenamed Lockhart). Just days ago mention of Lockhart was found in Windows 10 source code, and now it's also been found in the new Xbox SDK update.

Twitter user TitleOS spotted the reference, which seems to confirm Lockhart will be branded as the Xbox Series S. Lockhart currently has a profiling mode in the Xbox Game Development Kit software, and apparently also has a hardware devkit floating around.

AMD fans looking to build up a seriously high-end rig using the top-of-the-line AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3990X Castle Peak 2.9 GHz 64-core processor can save hundreds of dollars at Micro Center right now. The caveat is that your local store will need to have the processor in stock to take advantage of the special deal.

The Threadripper 3990X launched in January for $3990, making it an incredibly expensive processor. Currently, Micro Center is offering a discount of $540.01 off the regular retail price. While saving $540 is a significant discount, that means the processor is still costly at $3449.99.

Computer enthusiasts lucky enough to have such a high budget for the processor can also shave another $300 off if they bundle it with an eligible, compatible motherboard. Motherboards recommended by Micro Center include the ASUS TRX40 ROG Zenith II Extreme Alpha sTRX4 motherboard, MSI TRX40 Creator AMD sTRX4 EATX motherboard, and others.

A recent announcement from NASA has revealed that the next Mars rover launch date has been delayed and moved to next month.

According to an update posted to the blogs section of NASA's website, the reasoning for the delay was due to a "processing delay encountered during encapsulation activities of the spacecraft". On top of that, NASA also had a "contamination concern in the ground support lines in NASA's Payload Hazardous Servicing Facility (PHSF)". As a result of both of those issues, the space agency is now eyeing a successful launch on July 22nd for the next Mars rover Perseverance.

Perseverance will launch aboard the Atlas V rocket, which was constructed by United Launch Alliance. Time is of the essence, as NASA's window for launching Perseverance to the Red Planet is slowly, but surely coming to a close. NASA has until August 11th to launch the next rover to Mars if it wants to arrive there in February 2021. If the space agency misses this launch window, it will have to wait another 26 months (until 2022) for Earth's and Mars' orbits to be all closer to each other.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate fans will be glad to know that they will be receiving the new patch, which will contain the new fighter very soon.

According to a post from the Nintendo of Europe Twitter account, version 8.0.0 for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will be arriving on players' consoles within one week. So what will be included in version 8.0.0? The post says that version 8.0.0 will include fighter adjustments, and if Nintendo keeps to its same path of new fighters being added on rounded numbers, this patch will also contain the newly announced Min Min.

This release date of version 8.0.0 also coincides perfectly with the release date of Min Min (June 29th). I would expect the update to be rolled out late on June 28th, and then enabled on June 29th for players to enjoy. As with every large Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, all replays will be incompatible with the previous version of the game, so be sure to convert your replays into videos before updating. The US Department of Justice have served WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange with a new federal indictment on Wednesday, accusing the WikiLeaks founder of conspiring with hackers from Anonymous and LulzSec.

The DOJ explained in a press release: "Assange and others at WikiLeaks recruited and agreed with hackers to commit computer intrusions to benefit WikiLeaks. Since the early days of WikiLeaks, Assange has spoken at hacking conferences to tout his own history as a 'famous teenage hacker in Australia' and to encourage others to hack to obtain information for WikiLeaks".

Back in 2010, Assange hacked into a NATO country's government system, and then two years later allegedly "communicated dfirectly" with the leader of LulzSec. At the time, the LulzSec leader was working with the FBI and "provided a list of targets for LulzSec to hack".

NVIDIA has just released its new GeForce Game Ready 451.48 WHQL drivers, with support for the new DirectX 12 Ultimate API that includes DirectX Raytracing (DXR) version 1.1.

The new drivers also provide support for mesh shaders, sampler feedback, variable rate shading (VRS) and hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling that pops through with the new Windows 10 May 2020 update.

There's also support for 9 more G-SYNC compatible displays, and included in that list are Samsung's new 2020 Odyssey series monitors in the Odyssey G7 (both the 27-inch and 32-inch models) that offer 1440p at a huge 240Hz as well as the gigantic Samsung Odyssey G9 monitor which rocks an insane 5120 x 1440 at 240Hz.

The world of UFOs just got a little more interesting this week, with the Senate Intelligence Committee requesting the Pentagon for a detail, and unclassified report on "unidentified aerial phenomena" otherwise known as UFOs.

According to a former employee and UFO investigator for Britain's Ministry of Defense, Nike Pope, US senators were disturbed by what they saw. Pope explained in an email to Fox News: "I welcome this long-overdue development. It suggests that those senators who received last year's classified briefing on UFOs were disturbed by it and weren't satisfied with the current DOD position, i.e. simply stating that the mystery objects encountered by naval aviators remain unidentified".

Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, the acting chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, said in his report attached to the 2020-2021 Senate Intelligence Authorization Act, "instructed the director of national intelligence, the secretary of defense and other agency heads to compile data on 'unidentified aerial phenomenon'", reports Fox News.

In what should be one of the biggest releases on any platform in the world in 2021, we're ramping up into the release of Zack Snyder's Justice League which will stream exclusively on HBO Max in 2021.

Man of Steel and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice star Henry Cavill, was recently on Variety's Actors on Actors issue with Patrick Stewart. Stewart asked Cavill: "Okay, I've got a question for you. What can you tell me about the Snyder Cut?"

Cavill replied: "Oh the Snyder Cut, the famous-slash-infamous-slash-all-sorts-of-things Snyder Cut. I can't really tell you anything aside from the fact that all I know is that HBO Max will be releasing it, I believe, and it'll be Zack's final vision for the movie, and I don't know anything more than that".

In a move ahead of its next-gen PlayStation 5 launch, Sony has announced it will pay security researchers to discover bugs on the PlayStation 4, its operating system, related websites, and PlayStation Network.

Sony is offering between $100 and up to $50,000 (and sometimes more) for varying vulnerabilities in its products and services. On the low-end of the reward scale, Sony will pay $100 for vulnerabilities found in its PlayStation Network, while up to $500 is offered to find issues in the PS4.

The 'Medium' reward for vulnerabilities in PSN is $400 while the PS4 is much higher at $2500, while 'High' rewards are much larger at $1000 for PSN issues, and up to $10,000 for the PS4. But it's the 'Critical' issues that reward the best, with Sony offering security researchers $3000 for issues found on the PlayStation Network while it offers a rather large $50,000 for PS4.

TEAMGROUP has teamed with ASUS TUF Gaming Alliance in a few new storage products, with the new T-Force Cardea II TUF Gaming Alliance M.2 SSD and T-FORCE DELTA TUF Gaming Alliance RGB Gaming Solid State Drive(5V).

The new T-Force Cardea II TUF Gaming Alliance M.2 SSD is the "first M.2 SSD certified by ASUS TUF Gaming Alliance", where it has up to 3400MB/sec (3.4GB/sec) reads and up to 3000MB/sec (3GB/sec) writes. It's available in 512GB and 1TB capacities and is cooled by TEAMGROUP T-Force's patented "gaming cooling fin".

Next up is the T-Force Delta TUF Gaming Alliance RGB SSD 12V, which plugs into the 5V ADD header on your motherboard and has some seriously nice RGB lighting. It comes in 500GB and 1TB capacities on the 2.5-inch SATA 3 standard offering up to 560MB/sec reads and up to 510MB/sec writes.

Project CARS 3 now has a release date, with publisher BANDAI NAMCO announcing that it will drop on August 28, 2020.

The new game will feature some new twists and turns, since developer Slightly Mad Studios was acquired by Codemasters in November 2019. Project CARS 3 now has a re-worked career mode, with upgrades included -- meaning you can find the car you love, and upgrade it throughout Project CARS 3.

The recent announce trailer for Project CARS 3 left fans divided, something you can read more about here. Slightly Mad Studios boss Ian Bell said back in July 2019 that Project CARS 3 is a "revolution" and a "game changer", which you can read more about here.

Dell has unveiled a pair of new gaming monitors, with one being flat and the other curved. The monitors include the Dell 27 Gaming Monitor slotting into the flatscreen category and the Dell 27 Curved Gaming Monitor for those preferring curved screens. The flatscreen monitor supports VESA DisplayHDR 400 for graphic-intensive games. It features IPS technology and supports NVIDIA G-Sync.

Native resolution for the display is QHD, and the display is also compatible with AMD FreeSync Premium Pro technology. Dell promises that the screen will have "great color quality and consistency." It also features a 165 Hz refresh rate and true 1ms gray to gray response in Extreme mode. That high refresh rate promises tear-free and stutter-free graphics.

It has ultra-thin three-sided bezels and an intuitive OSD navigation with a joystick and shortcut buttons on the back of the monitor. The stand is adjustable and has a tapered base for comfortable viewing and a smaller footprint. The Dell 27 Gaming Monitor will launch globally on July 28 for $569.99.

Dell has announced that it has launched the new G7 15/17 gaming laptop that promises style able to go from gaming to the classroom. The G7 machines are entirely redesigned, featuring a slim profile with powerful hardware under the hood. Both the 15 and 17-inch versions of the G7 have similar features, including customizable chassis lights.

The G7 15 is 4 mm thinner in its current iteration than the previous generation of the machine measuring only 20.5 mm thick at the hinge. The notebook uses an updated hinge design and a black anodized all-metal chassis. The display has narrower bezels at 6.5 mm for the 15 and 8.16 mm on the G7 17.

Whichever size buyers choose, both G7 notebooks are powered by the latest 10th generation Intel Core processors. Up to a Core i9 processors available under the hood, and graphics are handled by NVIDIA with up to a GeForce RTX 2070 with Max-Q design on the G7 15. G7 17 buyers can get up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Super.

All around the world, there are still huge numbers of people who are working from home during the coronavirus pandemic. One of the big challenges for many people in households where two parents or partners are working from home while kids are trying to work from home is having enough computers for everybody to use. President Trump is notorious for his tweets, and whether you agree with them or not, anyone can see that sometimes they get a little out of hand, or perhaps are even interpreted incorrectly.

Every social media platform has rules and regulations, and Twitter is no exception to this rule. Above is an example of a tweet violating what Twitter calls "public interest". Here's what President Trump said, "There will never be an 'Autonomous Zone' in Washington, D.C., as long as I'm your President. If they try they will be met with serious force!" According to Twitter, the context of this tweet and the wording used violates the platform's guidelines, and has warranted a "public interest" notice to be slapped on the front of the tweet.

The public interest notice doesn't remove the tweet entirely but instead places a warning over the top of the tweet so it can't be immediately viewed. Here's what the warning says, "This Tweet violated the Twitter Rules about abusive behavior. However, Twitter has determined that it may be in the public's interest for the Tweet to remain accessible." This isn't the first time Twitter has issued a public interest notice on one of Trump's tweets. Last month the platform regulated this tweet from the President, "when the looting starts, the shooting starts".

Acer has a slew of new Predator gaming monitors unveiled at its Next@Acer 2020 event, with a new Predator XB273U GX.

The new Predator XB273U GX gaming monitor has a 27-inch IPS panel with a native 2560 x 1440 resolution, but super high refresh rate at 240Hz. Most 1440p monitors max out at 165Hz, but Acer is driving right up to 240Hz.
