I'm sure that everybody here have heard that Titanfall 2 is doing terribly. "Oh, the sales are nothing compared to the original!" or "Titanfall 2 is nothing compared to Battlefield 1". "The player count in this game is hideous! I can't even find a match!" Well, let's take a deeper look at an infographic that EA have made based on their data collected from the game between October 28th, 2016 and November 27th, 2016.

Apple's new MacBook Pros hit the headlines with their cool new Touch Bar, but then there were claims that there was visual corruption over the AMD Radeon graphics cards - something that was debunked as 'fake news' if I can use that in a news story I will - it turned out to be third-party software, and not AMD hardware causing the visual artifacts.

Now there are MBP owners taking to Reddit to talk about the poor battery life on their new, expensive laptops. One of the posts reads: "The battery on mine (MBP 15″, 2.9, 1 TB, 460) seemed poor when I first got it, but after a week or so it seemed to get better. I assume it's because I was syncing Dropbox and installing all of my software. Now, I'm easily getting 8+ hours out of it when doing the "loungey" stuff like Messages, Safari, Mail, Calendar, and working on the odd spreadsheet in Excel".

Another post said: "I've had the 13′ w/ TB model for a little over a week and a half now. And I'm not liking the battery life at all so far. So initially using chrome w/ the rest of my apps I was getting about 4-5 hrs. So I switched to safari and noticed a slight bump, 5-6hrs. Which is not what was advertised. I used Safari, Mail, NetBeans/xcode and spotify. While in sleep mode, with all apps off, I lose about 6% every 8hrs which is also very bad...".

It wasn't long ago that we reported on Aquaman being penciled in for an October 2018 release, but now Den of Geek are reporting that the solo Batman movie will be released in summer 2018. Warner Bros. has previously teased that two DC movies would be released in 2018 - the first, on July 27 - the second, on October 5.

Warner Bros. has confirmed Aquaman for October 2018, so it looks like Batman could be the summer tentpole movie for DC and Warner Bros. in 2018.

Battlefield 1 has been getting patched since its released, but DICE are now teasing the upcoming patch for BF1 that will fix various issues SLI owners are having with the game.

DIJCE producer Ali Hassoon took to Twitter to say that there are "some fixes coming with next patch, but there are other that need new drivers from the manufacturers", when asked about fixes for NVIDIA GeForce SLI owners. The new update will also have various other fixes, with someone asking about a fix for "quitting after games finish", and another glitch where "you can't shoot after getting revived". Hassoon tweeted: "we are aware, fixes incoming".

Another BF1 gamer asked about hindrances in the game, with Hassoon replying: "we are looking into lowering pre-round break limit as an option for admins". Another user asked "any change of admins having access to a full, scrollable chat log", to which Hassoon replied: "good idea, will look into it".

Nintendo unveiled its next-gen Switch console and handheld hybrid back in October, but there are still mysteries surrounding the NVIDIA-powered gaming console. We didn't know which accessories Nintendo would be selling, but according to a listing with Australian game retailer EB Games, we do now.

EB Games has listed three unofficial Nintendo Switch accessories by a company called @play, which include a "Starter Pack", "Starter Pack Plus", and a charging cable. We've already reported that the Nintendo Switch will use a USB Type-C port for charging, and this listing confirms that finding.

As we reported that the Nintendo Switch only has 3 hours of battery life, quick-charging with USB Type-C would be a huge benefit for gamers. The only problem is, however, USB Type-C can potentially fry devices if the cords are improperly made.

While the last film in the Transformers franchise 'The Age of Extinction' might have bored cinemagoers across the world, it seems that the $1.1 billion box office haul has ensured that they'll keep pumping them out. Cue 'Transformers: The Last Knight'.

Once again directed by Michael 'I thought I was out, but they pull me back in' Bay, the film should feature an unhealthy amount of explosions.

'Transformers: The Last Knight' is set to hit 2D, 3D and IMAX theatres from June 23, 2017.

Someone has secured themselves a rare console gem, grabbing an early PS4 Neo prototype dev kit console - which is now released commercially as Sony's PlayStation 4 Pro, from United Front, which recently shut its doors in October.

United Front held an auction over the weekend, selling server hardware, office equipment, lamps, TV sets - and yeah, a PS4 Pro development kit. Reddit user kaneda2004 secured the PS4 Neo dev kit, but he found that it had 800GB of data on the HDD, but it was encrypted behind an expired DevKit license.

The 800GB of data can't be accessed, as the files are encrypted after the license expires (as they need to be renewed every 90 days, for reasons just like this). The PS4 Neo dev kit owner has reached out to members of Assembler Games, who will grab the console and try to extract the files from the HDD to see what was hidden.

They were the games that defined a generation, and now it looks as if Sega's 90's classic like 'Streets of Rage', 'Shinobi' and 'Altered Beast' are about to be exploited for movies and TV shows.

According to Variety, Sega spin-off company Stories International has partnered with the production company behind movies and TV shows such as 'Fear the Walking Dead' and 'American Ultra' to produce game adaptations which could also include 'Golden Axe', 'Virtua Fighter' and 'Crazy Taxi', and is ."in the process of partnering with major studios, producers, and filmmakers to co-develop adaptations of these properties as English-language feature films and television series for worldwide release." Sega's biggest franchise 'Sonic The Hedgehog' is already being developed into a hybrid live-action/CG feature film over at Sony Pictures.

Hollywood makes billions of dollars a year with just a handful of movies, but what would happen if massive releases were thrown onto the market two weeks after they debut at cinemas?

According to sources of Bloomberg, Hollywood studios are working on new plans that would see rentals of their new movies released two weeks after they hit cinemas. Bloomberg's sources said the rentals would be quite expensive, priced somewhere between $25 and $50 - but if you saw a new movie with a few friends or family members, it would exceed that price easily.

Warner Bros. CEO Kevin Tsujihara said during an investor conference this week that he has plans for a new home movie plan, and that he and his studio are ready for premium rentals. Tsujihara said: "We're working with them to try and create a new window. But regardless of whether it happens or not - whether we are able to reach that agreement with them, we have to offer consumers more choices earlier".

Netflix currently offers 30 original shows; in 2017, it will more than double its content to at least 1,000 hours according to chief content officer Ted Sarandos.

Next year marks the start of a different direction for the majority of the company's original content, too: over 20 of the upcoming shows will be unscripted, including global competition series Ultimate Beastmaster (produced by Sylvester Stallone). Scripted shows on the horizon include A Series Of Unfortunate Events (starring Neil Patrick Harris), Santa Clarita Diet (starring Drew Barrymore and Timothy Olyphant), and Mind Hunter (a David Fincher series about the early days of FBI serial killer profiling).

Netflix will spend approximately $6 billion on content in 2017, an increase of $1 billion over this year. An estimated 50 percent of that will go toward original content.

After approving Google Fiber in September, the city of Nashville, Tennessee saw resistance from AT&T and Comcast. Both sued the city over streamlined utility pole attachment rules which would see quicker and easier adoption of Fiber, a threat to both companies' own services.

Now, the city of Nashville has filed a motion to dismiss the Comcast suit (no word yet on the AT&T suit), saying its within its rights to regulate public rights of way and that its methodology does not introduce "substantial impairment" to utility pole operator NES or its contracts, and that even if it did, what it's doing serves a "significant and legitimate" purpose for its people.

As it stands, about 50 percent of the 88,000 poles Google needs to attach fiber to in the city require extra work, but only 33 of them have actually received the work. Rivals to Fiber have been accused for years now of exploiting this loophole to stall adoption, and it appears that's very much the case here.

Amazon said they call this 'Just Walk Out Shopping' experience. First, you will have to download their Amazon Go app and use it when you enter the store. You take the products you want and walk out.

The checkout-free shopping experience is made possible by the same types of technologies used in self-driving cars: computer vision, sensor fusion, and deep learning. The technology automatically detects when products are taken from or returned to the shelves and keeps track on your app. When you leave the store, Amazon will send you the receipt and charge your Amazon account.

Ellie's "harrowing, hate-filled journey" will be crafted by Neil Druckmann and a writer from HBO's smash hit Westworld show.

Naughty Dog officially announced The Last of Us Part 2 at Sony's PlayStation Experience 2016 event. According to Neil Druckmann, the game will star Ellie as the main protagonist and will be a polar opposite of the first chapter, with Ellie's story being much more twisted, bloody, and malicious this time around. "This is a story about hate, and [it'll be] an intense, harrowing, and emotional adventure," Druckmann confirmed.

The lead Naughty Dog writer also announced that he won't be the only writer on the project: Halley Gross, who helped mold and fashion HBO's new mega-hit Westworld show, will lend her talents to the game's storyline.

Despite Sony's assurances that its new PlayStation 4 Pro runs cool, the fact that the new 4K-ready console uses AMD's new Polaris graphics architecture that's both energy and thermal efficient, and the fact that the PS4 Pro's SoC is built on a 16nm FinFET node process for even more efficiency, the console seems to be getting pretty hot. How hot? Hot enough to fry an egg?

I've been covering the PS4 Pro for a while now, but have decided against picking one up since my 2013 launch PS4 is running fine--even if Sony wants to pretend the console doesn't exist any more. In all of our reports, one of the most consistent bits of info is that the PS4 Pro is much more powerful and efficient than the PS4. We know it rocks a highly customized 4.2 TFLOP AMD Polaris-based GPU that sits below an RX 470 in power, and Sony even affirms the PS4 Pro runs super cool and only gets to 35C while gaming, but many gamers are saying that the system actually runs pretty hot--especially if you're playing in 4K.

"I wanna mention that this thing runs hot. Which is something crazy...we had it running several hours today and it was really hot," Cinemassacre's Ryan Schott said in a recent PS4 Pro evaluation video on AVGN's channel.

With Resident Evil 7: Biohazard being the first game in the series to support native 4K resolution on PC and upscaled 4K on PS4 Pro, it looks like Capcom is taking the game pretty seriously, which could lead to a well-optimized PC port. Now a list of RE 7 purported PC graphics and performance settings have been unearthed, showing an uncapped FPS option as well as a bunch of different settings.

Resident Evil 7's PC settings, which were apparently found by Reddit user Zabaado, highlight many of the basic toggles, tweaks and bars you'd expect in a PC game.

Players can adjust refresh rates up to 144Hz with FreeSync and G-Sync enabled monitors, resolutions like native 4K and 2560 x 1440p, texture quality up to Very High, Anisotropic filtering up to 16X, mesh quality, AA including FXAA, TAA, FXAA+TAA and/or SMAA, depth of field toggle, shadow quality, bloom, reflections and more. With The Last Guardian finally coming out of its almost ten years of development hell, the desire for this game surprises Sony in the form of the pre-order numbers.

According to an interview with Sony's product manager, Joe Palmer, by MCV, he said: "I can't comment with specific details, but I can say that pre-orders for The Last Guardian are exceeding expectations," he said. "We've seen a really positive response to the Collector's Edition in particular, which despite its higher price point proves there's a huge appetite for the game."

When MCV asked Mr Palmer about if the development team cared about the hype that have been building throughout the years, he answered the team didn't pay attention to it too much. Palmer explained: "We've tried to avoid fuelling the hype by playing on the fact that people have been waiting a long time for this"

The European Space Agency (ESA) member nations have approved an additional $425 million dollars to complete the ExoMars mission, a two-part multi-year Martian astrobiology life searching project and joint mission of the European Space Agency (ESA) and Russian Federal Space Agency (Roscosmos). ESA asked for the additional funds after their Schiaparelli lander crashed onto the surface of Mars in October.

The member nations held a two-day meeting in Switzerland where it has been announced that they will provide extra funds.

The European-Russian ExoMars project have sent an orbiter and a test lander to Mars, which were supposed to lay groundwork for the next part of the mission scheduled in 2020 when they planned to send a rover to Mars.

He says he got the idea for the USB stick after a presentation when his laptop shut down and he lost all of his slides.

Black Friday had come and gone with Cyber Monday completed as well. So after all the hectic craziness of shopping for great deals over the Thanksgiving weekend, Microsoft once again defeated Sony in console sales online.

According to Adobe's annual market-tracking data for the United States, the Xbox One was recorded as the fifth best-selling electronics brand online during the Black Friday event. As all other items and products ahead of the Xbox One where not gaming consoles, it meant that Microsoft once again took the number one spot for sales over Sony's PlayStation 4.

For now it seems that Microsoft have the upper hand when it comes to sales, though for how ever long they maintain this position is yet to be seen.
