In addition to building Mass Effect: Andromeda completely from scratch in DICE's next-gen Frostbite 3 engine, BioWare now confirms that it plans to support 21:9 UltraWide resolution on PCs when the game launches in 2017.

BioWare is going lengths to ensure Mass Effect: Andromeda taps the full potential of PC platforms. The developers have not only confirmed the next-gen Mass Effect won't be locked to 30FPS on PC, but now BioWare producer Mike Gamble says the game should natively support 21:9 UltraWide aspect ratio monitors--something that's usually missing in major PC releases these days.

Flynn also confirmed that ME: Andromeda would have full gamepad support on PC, and that the game has HDR support, but this is likely referring to the PS4 Pro and not PC monitors. The game is also fully optimized for 4K on both PC and Sony's new PlayStation Pro console--although the latter will be upscaled 4K at locked to 30FPS, and will also have super-sampled graphics on 1080p HDTVs. PC, of course, will run at native 4K--provided you have a beefy enough graphics card.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, has recently announced the new "Lego Worlds" simulated building game, much similar to Minecraft will become available to gaming platforms next year.

Developed by TT Games, Jonathan Smith, head of production announced the following: "In LEGO Worlds, players will go on an exciting journey to become a Master Builder, in an open world made completely of LEGO-built environments. Whether customizing characters, exploring in vehicles, building structures, or discovering an expansive range of items, characters and creatures throughout the worlds, there's the freedom to create anything imaginable."

The Lego Worlds game will feature a multiplayer mode for both online and via split-screen co-op.

Warner Bros. has finally given the standalone Aquaman movie a release date, with October 5, 2018 being slotted in according to Deadline.

Aquaman is being directed by James Wan, who has directed Furious 7, Saw, The Conjuring, Death Sentence and more. Aquaman was teased briefly in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice earlier this year, with Jason Momoa reprising his role in Justice League next year.

Wan has teased Aquaman: "I kind of don't want to give too much away but know this: The spirit that I'm going for is like a classic sort of swashbuckling action adventure, sort of high seas adventure story. It's ultimately a quest story in the spirit of Raiders of the Lost Ark meets Romancing the Stone".

Crackdown was one of the most addictive gaming experiences on the original Xbox, but it looks like Crackdown 3 might be an awesome experience on the upcoming Xbox Scorpio console.

Microsoft Studios art director Dave Johnson has confirmed Crackdown 3 for holiday 2017 "or earlier" during an interview with Extra Life, adding that Crackdown 3 will support 4K on the Xbox Scorpio. Microsoft has already confirmed first-party games will all run at native 4K resolution on Project Scorpio. The game was originally slated for launch in 2016, but Microsoft delayed it into 2017 for a few different reasons.

Xbox marketing boss Aaron Greenberg said that Crackdown 3 wouldn't launch in 2016 because Microsoft's holiday lineup was already chock full of games, with Microsoft Studios boss Shannon Loftis adding that Crackdown 3 was delayed because the team wanted to spend more time on the campaign.

Piranha Games has been working on MechWarrior Online, and have now just announced MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries - a single-player game that will have gamers aiming for a successful career as a private robot that serves on "behalf of the houses of the Inner Sphere", reports Engadget.

MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries is powered by Unreal Engine, so it should look impressive when it drops in 2018. The developer is promising that you will be able to buy and maintain BattleMechs, but it'll come down to your skills as well.

It's been eight years since the release of Universal's 'The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor', so we all know what that means... reboot! Today, the upcoming film released its first teaser trailer, which sees Tom Cruise face off against Sofia Boutella's female baddie.

We all know social media is enjoyed and used on a daily (and minute-by-minute) basis by billions of people across the world, but by 2019 - social media advertising budgets will balloon out to a massive $50 billion according to French advertising Publicis Group Publicity Zenith (Zenith Optimedia).

On Monday, the group predicted that by 2020, global social media advertising spending will reach $50 billion, exceeding newspaper advertising. Power Communications is estimating by 2019 that global social media spending will account for 20% of total internet advertising - or $50 billion, just 1% lower than newspaper advertiser spending.

By 2020, social media spending will easily exceed newspaper ads - and most likely, even before then at the rate we're seeing. Online vide advertising is also growing, where by 2019 it's expected to reach $35.4 billion, higher than radio ads, but lower than TV advertising.

One of the main launch titles of the PS4 back in 2013, Knack, is getting a sequel. It focus on the 2-player co-op which is something many considered a gimmick in the original.

Instead of the metal looking Knack you've been getting in the first game, you will have a blue version of Knack as your player 2 character. The addition of the second character open up a whole new level of play which the trailer shows you: combo attacks. Working with your buddy and timing the combo attacks right will get you some impressive instance of gameplay. There will be also moments where you and your buddy will be piloting a tank together. That's great right?

With the addition of co-op, it seems like we're going to get better platforming action this time and more detailed sceneries. We will also get some new moves like reflecting projectiles and sword dual-wielding. Old moves will be back too like the element absorption.

Rocket League developer Psyonix Games have just announced last night at the Game Awards that they will be releasing a new map called "Starbase ARC" and a new DLC car called "Vulcan" for December 7th.

According to the description of the trailer, Starbase ARC is " an homage to Psyonix's critically-acclaimed mobile title, ARC Squadron, is an octagonally-shaped space station orbiting a desert planet in a distant galaxy. The post added : "Lasers fire whenever goals are scored, starships battle it out in the skies, and planetoids float eerily by in the distance to create one of the most epic Rocket League atmospheres yet."

For the new sleek and star-ship looking "Vulcan", it will cost you $2 if you want to acquire this other homage to ARC Squadron.

Today, Battlefield 1 redditor "WWIflyingace62" suggested that shovels should have their intended function, that is the ability to dig ground with it, in the game. With that, people can dig temporary trenches to use as cover and make their enemies rethink their strategy.

Luckily, a developer of DICE who goes by the name of "Maars_DICELA" gave a pretty shocking revelation: the shovels used to have this function but was later removed because of the "weirdness" it brings to the game. He said there's a possibility that it might come back when the CTE (Community Test Environment) is up and running.

We could potentially see another Titanfall game outside of Titanfall 2. It's a game born out of a collaboration between south korean game platform giant Nexon, EA and Respawn entertainment. But first, kudos to Brian Ashcraft and its tipster Sang for spotting the news first over at Kotaku.

Titanfall Online will be an free online title release by Nexon. It will be only available in South Korea with no plans for international release yet. Tipster Sang said there will be a test play on December 15 to December 21 for South Korea players.

The song, if we can call it that, was created with a program named "neural karaoke." Scientists uploaded a Christmasy image to the program and let it do its magic. The program then analyzed the photo and came up with words and a melody. The result is...unique.

The "neural karaoke" project from the University of Toronto is a demonstration of what artificial intelligence can do to make our lives more fun. It was created by student Hang Chu, who managed to teach the computer to create a simple melody in 100 hours.

It looks like the GPU-related issues on Apple's freshly-released MacBook Pro laptops was not because of the AMD Radeon graphics inside - something I said a few weeks ago, as all signs are pointing towards crappy third-party software ruining consumers' expensive new purchase.

AppleInsider reports from sources familiar with the matter that "overaggressive or otherwise sloppy code distributed in third-party software is to blame. That said, a small number of users report seeing similar problems with Apple's own Photos app". I don't see the words "AMD" or "Radeon" anywhere there, but I do see the words "third-party" and "Apple's own Photos app", though.

In my article titled 'Apple can't launch high-end MacBook Pros without issues', I said: "There were issues with the new 15-inch MBP that sports AMD's new Radeon Pro 400 series graphics, with people taking to the MacRumor forums to complain about their problems. But there are a lot of people with 13-inch MacBook Pros that are experiencing issues, and there is no AMD hardware inside of those models - that's all an all-Intel MacBook Pro, with the same issues the model with the Radeon Pro 400 series graphics has".

HP has unveiled its new supercomputer, simply called The Machine, something first announced back in 2014. HP is aiming to smash all previous technology in existence with The Machine, as their new supercomputer doesn't need to rely on traditional processors - instead, it will utilize memory for its brute speed.

HP Enterprise explains that The Machine is up to 8000x faster than traditional machines (you'd freakin' hope so), but it's still years away from being released. HP will be aiming at high-end servers for companies like Google and Facebook, with the architecture itself powered by memory-driven computing, we should see this type of memory-driven PC trickle down to the PC one day, I hope.

The Machine uses photonics to transmit data using light, and thanks to its massive, and super-fast memory pool - The Machine can really crank through those datasets. When the data needs to be transferred between processors, things slow down - but HP has thought ahead of time using memory to super-speed the supercomputer.

AMD will be hosting its New Horizon event on December 13, where we will be introduced to the new Ryzen CPUs, and their new enthusiast SKU motherboards in the form of the AM4-based X370 chipset.

There will be multiple board partners at the event, all showing off their new Ryzen-capable X370 motherboards rocking the new AM4 socket. AMD previous teased the New Horizon event, where they said: "Join AMD at New Horizon on 12/13 at 3pm CST for an exclusive advance preview of our new "Zen" CPU ahead of its 2017 Q1 release.
