The Resident Evil 2 Remake will be launching early next year and to tease fans before its launch Capcom has released a new 'military' themed DLC trailer.

The above video showcases the Claire 'Military' outfit. The unfortunately short video only last for about 24 seconds, but what we can see from it is Claire wearing a military vest and pants. The 'military' DLC will be included within the Resident Evil 2 Remake Deluxe Edition.

This isn't the first time we have seen Claire in the Resident Evil 2 Remake, I have reported on Capcom releasing a 30 minute gameplay trailer of Claire. Throughout the trailer we see Claire face off against a classic enemy and also we get a great showcase of the graphical improvements that have been made. Visit that article here. Resident Evil 2 is planned for release on January 25th next year, it will be arriving on the Xbox One, PS4 and PC.

The launch of Soulcalibur VI is about to be upon us and ahead of the release Bandai Namco has debuted the second part of the their Soulcalibur documentary series.

Before the next installment into the series is released Bandai thought it would be good to give fans a bit of background on where Soulcalibur originated from and how the 20 year old fighter still stands today. The first video in the series gives a look at the previous titles that have been released and how the game has evolved from what it once was, to what it is today.

Both video's contain pro Soulcalibur players and YouTube influencers that give their take on how the franchise has been developed over its lifespan. Part 2 mainly focusses on Soulcalibur VI and the thoughts that both the YouTubers and pro-players have regarding the title. Soulcalibur VI will launch on October 19th for the Xbox One, PS4 and PC. We aren't far off from the Super Smash Bros. Ultimates release and there is no doubt that Smash fans are itching to get into the new game. The real question is, will players be using their hardened classic GameCube controller or make the switch to something a bit more modern?

As a Super Smash Bros. fanatic there is absolutely zero chance that I am going to be transferring over to any new controller that isn't a classic GameCube one. Smash players that have been around the scene will understand where I am coming from, any other controller than the one you learned how to do your first combo on is just weird to use.

With that in mind though, what about a Nintendo Switch Pro Controller that is GameCube themed? PDP and Nintendo currently have in the works three specifically themed controllers; Mario, Zelda and a Pokemon one. Each of the controllers will only be $25 and comes with a 10 foot long USB cable, and also the option to swap out the traditional C-Stick with a full sized one.

Square Enix has released a brand new batch of screenshots for their upcoming Disney adventure Kingdom Hearts III.

From the new selection of screenshots released by Square Enix we can see several Kingdom Hearts classic characters. We can also see some Hercules characters; Hades, Hercules, Megara, Pegasus, Phill and Zeus. Hayner Olette and Pence can also be spotted. The screenshots have been released in full-HD 1920x1080 and look absolutely great.

If you haven't heard, Sora is rumored to come to Smash Bros. Ultimate as some leakers have said that Square Enix will have a representative within the game. Check out that story here. As we move closer to Halloween Nintendo have decided to get into the festive spirit and make their favorite mascot into a zombie. Introducing Mario, the undead version.

If you haven't played Super Mario Odyssey you are truly missing out, in my personal opinion it is one of the best games I have ever played. The controls are smooth, the levels make you feel like a kid again, but also provide a sense of achievement once completed and the costumes are an amazing added bonus.

Since we are about to land onto Halloween, Nintendo have decided to get into the spirit and debut a Mario zombie outfit (as seen above). Not only do players have the opportunity to make Mario undead with the new update through the Zombie Headware and the Zombie Outfit, but some extra goodies have been added as well. We already know that Blizzard is working on a new Diablo game, but now the developer has come out and outright told us that there will be some super exclusive stuff revealed about Diablo at BlizzCon 2018.

Blizzard took to the official Diablo 3 website with a post titled 'Diablo at BlizzCon 2018' and said: "These are very exciting times - we currently have multiple teams working on different Diablo projects and we can't wait to tell you all about them... when the time is right". The developer continued, saying they won't be unveiling all of their Diablo-related projects but they "do intend to share some Diablo-related news with you at the show".

BlizzCon 2018 kicks off on November 2, the same day that Diablo 3 lands on the Nintendo Switch. I'm hoping we see a glimpse of Diablo 4, especially when the developer teases "good things come to those who wait" but they followed it up with "but evil things often take longer".

Black Ops 4's combined retail and digital weekend sales have surpassed $500 million in revenues, Activision announces, but the multiplayer-based Call of Duty doesn't beat Black Ops 3.

Although Activision has enjoyed strong digital sales and engagement with Black Ops 4's launch, the game's combined weekend sales fail to breach records set by previous Black Ops games.

According to figures provided by Niko Partners analyst Daniel Ahmad, Black Ops 4's $500 million launch weekend revenues match earnings made by 2017's Call of Duty: WWII. 2015's Black Ops 3 made $550 million in three-day launch sales. Activision's monumental Black Ops II still holds the record with $500 million earned in just the first day of launch.

After many long, long years of development Red Dead Redemption 2 is finally on its way. Rockstar celebrates the game's impending release with a new launch trailer that foreshadows an epic cowboy adventure.

Red Dead Redemption 2's story should be one for the ages. Ever since the first reveal trailer in 2016, I had a feeling Rockstar would spin a Western yarn worthy of a Sergio Leone series. Everything up until this point has only reinforced that feeling: RDR2 tells the story of a group of desperate outlaws who are displaced in time and constantly hunted by the long arm of the law. As Arthur Morgan, players will watch first-hand as the Dutch Van Der Linde gang tries to hold on to their savage way of life amid a changing 1899 frontier America. And eventually we'll have to make a choice: die bloodied by the gun as we live, or redeem ourselves to live another day.

The game's official launch trailer touches on this fall of outlaws. Renegade life is becoming harder and harder, and the Van Der Linde gang just needs one more big score before they can leave this life and settle down. But that's always the way with thievery; just one more robbery, just one more hold-up, all the while never knowing which could be your last.

On the heels of its success with Elder Scrolls Online, ZeniMax Online will continue expanding with new MMORPG experiences.

ZeniMax Online is making an new MMORPG set in a fresh IP, a new job listing reveals. The mention of a new IP hints the new game won't adapt one of Bethesda's core franchises. The studio took this approach by translating Bethesda Game Studios' beloved Elder Scrolls series into an MMO--The Elder Scrolls Online--which started off rocky but is now stable. Now it seems the devs want to push even farther into the online space.

Other than it being an MMO, the Core Tech Programmer listing itself doesn't reveal any hints or key info about the game. It does suggest that the game is in early phases of development, however. This isn't uncommon in the games industry; developers typically take on multiple projects at once and lay the seeds for new works while fortifying existing releases.

A new job listing suggests Ninja Theory's next game will have live service elements of some kind, which should make its new owners at Microsoft quite happy.

Now that it has been folded into Microsoft's internal Game Studios division, it only makes sense that Ninja Theory would consequently meld live service components into its future games. Ninja Theory is hiring for a Senior Games Analyst who will parse, interpret, and manage key data points on a regular basis, strongly hinting its upcoming project(s) will have online features of some kind.

KPIs or key performance indicators, which are critical components for any live service game, are mentioned in the listing alongside other interesting clues. The analyst will essentially prepare Ninja Theory's new game to tap important data metrics before and after launch. All of these things are hallmarks of the engagement-driven strategy that drives big-name online multiplayer games from publishers like Activision, Ubisoft, Take-Two, and Microsoft.

Blizzard may not reveal the next mainline Diablo game at BlizzCon 2018, leading to widespread disappointment.

Diablo isn't ready to walk the Earth again and the Burning Hells won't boil over to the mortal realm...at least that's the impression Blizzard left us with. A new official Diablo post cautions fans not to expect specific things at BlizzCon 2018, and while they don't explicitly say Diablo IV won't be announced, it's heavily hinted at. The company is currently making several new Diablo projects--some of which are likely games and other transmedia content--right now, but not all of them will be announced or showcased at next month's nerd gala.

Many clues indicate Diablo IV has been in the works for quite some time now (I spotted some clues as far back as 2016, but dev likely began shortly after Reaper of Souls launched) but I advised gamers not to expect the sequel any time soon.

We all remember the hour or so that YouTube went down a couple of days ago now, but did you know that Pornhub traffic rose to the occasion? The porn site teased the news on Twitter, and now there are some statistics to share from Pornhub that definitely shed some light on their claims.

Pornhub posted some traffic data that shows a large rise in traffic on Tuesday night, where at 9PM ET it was 12% above normal while an hour later at 10PM it was up 21%. The YouTube outage took place between 9:30PM and 10:45PM ET, with lots of people being at home at that time and unable to use YouTube it seems they slid on over to Pornhub for a quick flick.

There's a large drop in traffic towards midnight when YouTube came back up, with Pornhub noting it was "a significant increase by millions of additional viewers during Pornhub's peak evening hours".

Darksiders III is planned for launch next month and ahead of the games launch an interview with the development director for the title has revealed what players can expect in terms of gameplay length.

The interview was conducted with WCCFtech and Reinhard Pollice, the Business & Product Development Director at THQ Nordic. When asked about the games length Pollice responded with "Playtime is always a tricky question as it depends on numerous factors. On average, we would say somewhere around 15-hours-plus, which is similar to the first Darksiders."

Pollice also revealed that Darksiders III will also be launching with HDR support, so players with a HDR monitor or TV will be able to enjoy the true beauty of the game with a much larger color palette range. Darksiders III is coming to the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The title will be released on November 27th, for further information visit the official Darksiders III website here.

Rocket League developers psyonix have taken to their website to announce that Rocket League on the Xbox One X is soon to get full 4K/60FPS support topped with amazing HDR.

According to the announcement, Psyonix have one planned update left for 2018 and that is to bring Xbox One X players the best Rocket League experience that they can provide. The only way this can be achieved is if the developer rolls out a performance and graphical improvement update and that is exactly what they are doing, Rocket League is about to get Enhanced Xbox One X support. The update is currently planned for release in December and Psyonix will have another announcement leading up to the launch.

Throughout the announcement on their website, Psyonix also addressed the crossplay situation between Microsoft and Sony. Psyonix will be delaying the release of RocketID due to the progression being made towards crossplay between both platforms, "Sony's recent announcements regarding full cross-platform functionality, we can now make additional changes to prepare RocketID for ALL platforms should we receive permission to do so!" When you think back the classic granddaddy of gaming titles, numerous titles such as Mario, Yoshi and DOOM come to mind. Tossed into that very same category is SEGA's legendary Sonic and judging by his sale numbers that claim has certainly been backed up.

SEGA just released their finnicial reports regarding their most successful flagship titles and their sales numbers from their creation to present date. Of course, as completely expected, our very fast blue friend takes the crown as the companies most prized mascot. Sonic was first created in 1991 on the SEGA Genesis or known as the Mega Drive to those who lived outside of North America. Since then, the franchise has pushed the boundaries of sales as the blue hedgehog has managed to shift 800 million separate units.

Just to emphasize how truly big that number is, the second closest SEGA franchise next to Sonic is Puyo Puyo which was also released in 1991 and has only sold 27 million units. Even if you add up the sales on each of the other seperate SEGA franchises it doesn't even scratch close to what Sonic has done for the company. Another title is on its way to the Nintendo Switch, this time round we have Koei Tecmo's Dynasty Warriors making its way over to the hand held console. Introducing, Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends Complete Edition DX for Switch.

Now before you go and get all excited, it should be noted that back in November of 2017 Koei Tecmo brought Dynasty Warriors 8: Empires, Samurai Warriors: Spirit of Sanada and Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate to the Nintendo Switch but never debuted a western release. This means that Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends could only be seeing a Japanese release, hope fully this is not the case as I'd assume many Switch owners in western markets would love to see these games on their hand-held console.

Jumping straight into what is included within the Complete Edition, from the announcement we will have scenarios, costumes and items. According to the announcement, the Complete Edition DX save data will be compatible with the other Warriors games that are on the Nintendo Switch. This means that players that already own Dynasty Warriors 8: Empires, Samurai Warriors: Spirit of Sanada, Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate and Warriors Orochi 4 could receive bonuses upon purchasing the Complete Edition. The planned launch date in Japan for Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends Complete Edition DX is currently set for December 27th for both the physical and digital release.

In wake of the recently announced Diablo III Eternal Collection bundle, Blizzard has taken things a step further and announced a treasure hunt. Let the hunt for the Diablo III Eternal Collection and more begin!

According to the recent announcement, players over the age of 17 will have the opportunity to participate in a world-wide treasure hunt. Participants will be have to follow clues scattered throughout the internet and the real-world. Players will have to follow @Diablo on Twitter to receive clues, from these clues players can redeem Dibalo themed prizes from Blizzard.

Some of the prizes that will be given away throughout the treasure hunt are: Nintendo Switch Diablo III Eternal Collection Bundle, digital copies of the Diablo III for the Switch, replicas and much more. Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 has been out for about a week now, and as promised developer Treyarch have unleashed a new patch that removes the FPS cap in ALL modes of the game, including the exciting new battle royale mode 'Blackout'.

The new patch includes a bunch of general issues being fixed, gameplay balances, and so much more. The general fixes include:

Red Dead Redemption 2 is a little over 24 hours away from being available to pre-load, and now that we're close we know how much HDD space you'll need on your Xbox One or PS4. Rockstar has teased on Twitter that the Red Dead Redemption 2 launch trailer will debut October 18 at 10AM ET while pre-orders on digital format will kick off pre-loads on Friday at 12AM ET.

Red Dead Redemption 2 comes in at 88.57GB on the Xbox One, while the PS4 version is a tad bigger requiring 89.2GB of free HDD space. Given that you'll be downloading close to 100GB, you might want to start pre-loading Red Dead Redemption 2 as soon as humanly possible. If you don't have the internet connection to handle the 90GB download, then getting the physical version of RDR 2 might be a good idea.
