Years of harsh training went by, causing Falke to spiral deep into despair, wishing for it all to end. Finally, Ed came to her rescue and they both were able to escape Shadaloo. Over $1mil of crypto stolen from influential crypto investor
Today during a live stream on Diary of a Made Man, Ian Balina noticed something astray... he was being hacked! Balina is a Blockchain and Cryptocurrency investor who has over 150,000 subscribers on his YouTube channel where he reviews ICOS. Balina looks to have lost over $1,000,000 in this hack.
When he first realised this was happening he put out a tweet showing his ether wallet addresses where his tokens were stolen from and also the wallet addresses of the hackers, asking for help from his Twitter community. The tweets have subsequently been deleted by Balina. The three wallets of the hackers coming to $1,396,986.31 in total, as of writing this article yet you can watch live as the tokens are being moved out, presumably sold, even as soon as 9 minutes ago.
In truly terrible form, there are people commenting in etherscan on the hackers wallet address asking for a slice of the pie by posting their addresses and asking for some of the stolen tokens. Unfortunately, people are saying that Balina made himself too much of a target by posting snapshots of his portfolio which contained upwards of $3,000,000 in tokens.

Agony's PC version will have a censorship removal option
The Kickstarter project Agony has had an update to their Kickstarter page, the Unreal Engine 4-powered hell will have censorship, but the PC version will have the option to remove this feature.
PlayWay explained on their post that the reason for the censorship is due to the title not being able to be released on consoles if it is an AO (adult only) rating. PC gamers will be glad to know that there is a "special, optional patch for PC that will remove the aforementioned "censorship." PlayWay "wanted to do something similar for consoles"but unfortunately "from a technical and legal point of view it is simply not possible."
Console gamers may but upset with this turn of events and PlayWay are aware of that, so the developer has decided to allow "backers who have bought the console version of Agony will be able to convert it into a PC version." There is currently no details on how players will have to go about this conversion but PlayWay does say that some clarity will be shed in their next update.

Bitcoin is the internet... in the 1980s!
CNBC Fast Money's Brian Kelly has likened Bitcoin adoption to the internet adoption stages in the way it will change tech, but we are only in the 1980s internet adoption stage. He said he thought we might be 1995 internet stage but after the last couple of months talking to people, its still very early days!
Laura Shin, a crypto/blockchain journalist, echoed the same sentiment in her interview with CNBC Africa, saying that people are drawing parallels between bitcoin and the internet and we are in a very early phase of growth in this industry. Shin went onto say that it's a good idea to try and get in on the ground floor and ride the wave up as there are so many big players coming in and providing good infrastructure solutions which did not exist until recently.
Investment tycoon who loves rocking bitcoin ties, Tim Draper, again, another big player saying we are in the baby stage. Draper says "It is a hundred trillion dollar market. So that means, that we have a long way to go in a crypto market. We're now in the hundreds of billions, it's like it's got a thousand times on what it is now to go." Draper predicts that bitcoin will be $250,000 by 2022! When Brian Kelly was asked about Draper's prediction, he said it sounds crazy but when we look at bitcoin's history, it's very possible!

Crypto communities erupted in the past 24 hours with bitcoin having its biggest single-day surge since December! In only an hour bitcoins price surged by over a thousand dollars from just under $7,000USD to just over $8,000USD. The price how now sitting around $7,765, up 12.07% since yesterday. The market is beautiful and green across the board, getting everyone excited! EOS still holding 5th place in the top ten in preparation for the airdrop. There has certainly been enough positive news in the community for people to relax and buy up some more while we are currently hovering around the $7,000-$8,000 mark. Keep in mind, on this day last year, bitcoin was trading at $1,201 and had a market cap of only $19,541,300,000.
This week the news has seen Goldman Sachs executive leave to become COO of Galaxy Digital, the Rockefeller family's VC fund, Venrock, announcing a partnership with CoinFund, Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak saying bitcoin is more legitimate than other systems and now a beautiful surge that has put it back in mainstream media focus, we just might be able to hold this point and even surpass it!

Sea of Thieves update will stop it from being too BORING
Sea of Thieves isn't the most exciting game at launch, with Rare completely aware of this so the developer will be making some changes in their upcoming May update that will address at least some of the boredom.
In the upcoming update to Sea of Thieves, the developer will be introducing The Hungering Deep, something that focuses on a "new AI threat" and a special event. Not only that, but Rare will be including weekly events that they promise will add "new mechanics" and rewards. Later in the summer we're told to expect a new ship type with Cursed Sails, and a new region with Forsaken Shores.
Both of these updates will include new gameplay dynamics, AI enemies, and rewards. The developer has said that their plans are more "fluid" after they promised pets and ship captaincy earlier, something the developer has said is now "on the back burner" while they address immediate problems of... well, not much to do in Sea of Thieves.

Bethesda rumored to announce next-gen Starfield game at E3
Bethesda is quietly preparing their next big game, something that could be unveiled and fully detailed at E3 2018 which is now less than two months away.
Starfield is the game in question, a new sci-fi title that the developer could tease during their E3 2018 showcase. As time goes on we're hearing more about it, with ResetEra user 'AAMARMO' posting in a speculation thread about the game, where he is trying to work out what Starfield is about.
Based on the current description of Starfield, AAMARMO thinks it could be a mobile game and not a next-gen AAA game by Bethesda... but then 'Potterson' added to it, saying Starfield will not be a mobile game and to "just wait for E3". How does Potterson know this? The user added: "Nah, sorry. Not really an "insider" or "press sneak fu**". Just happen to know something so I thought I share. I can't say more yet".

AtGames apparently making Mega Drive mini, not SEGA
Unlike Nintendo, SEGA may not actually make its own retro mini console.
A bit ago SEGA confirmed that a Mega Drive Mini console will launch in Japan...but it appears that third-party console-maker AtGames is behind the wheel. The company recently put up a Tweet that said the tiny console will be powered by the "latest AtGames technology," but the post was quickly deleted following big backlash from gamers. AtGames has frustrated lots of gamers with its Genesis re-release systems due to reported shoddy quality and no one's too please they'll be making the new nostalgic systems.
However SEGA did drop some hints that it wouldn't be making any new hardware--re-release retro machines or otherwise. SEGA Games COO Kenji Matsubara recently told Yahoo Japan that the company could import AtGames' infamous SEGA Flashback system to sell in the overseas region. "We are considering importing and selling the 'Sega Genesis Flashback',... [it] is built-in game software primarily sold in North America & Europe," Matsubara said.

AMD's beefed up Z490 chipset teased, has more PCIe lanes
AMD is currently in the process of launching their new flagship X470 chipset with the Pinnacle Ridge-based Ryzen 2000 series processors, but now a mysterious Z490 chipset has been teased.
VideoCardz reports on a slide that was allegedly posted on the PCEva forums, where it shows a presentation of GIGABYTE's AORUS X470 motherboards, showing the differences between some of the chipsets and then the mysterious Z490 (not X490, but Z490) chipset.
The purported Z490 chipset is identical to the X470 chipset except that it rocks 4 additional PCIe 3.0 lanes, something that would be great for multi-GPU users who want PCIe lanes for precious graphics cards, and multiple super-fast NVMe M.2 SSDs that need PCIe lanes to drive their insane speeds.

EA: we can't make similar mistakes, and we won't
EA is a titan when it comes to monetizing its games, but not every microtransaction strategy works for every game--a lesson that the publisher learned over months of grueling lootbox controversy with Battlefront II. Now EA says it can't afford to mess things up again--and that they won't.
EA's newly appointed Chief Design Officer Patrick Soderlund recognizes that Battlefront II's lootboxes were handled poorly, and flat out asserts that the company won't follow the same path with 2018's big new Battlefield game nor with BioWare's massively ambitious new IP, Anthem. But why did EA even try to monetize Battlefront II the way it did? In a word: returns.
"We had the intent that was designed for us to have more people play it over a longer period of time. And like a lot of other games on the market, to be able to afford to do that we had an idea of getting returns from that. But at the same time, we got it wrong," Soderlund told The Verge in a recent interview.

Anthem will be 'unlike anything you've played' says BioWare
Anthem, BioWare's new 'genre-melded' IP represents a huge investment for EA and a big new step for the Mass Effect devs, and is hyped up to be something brand new and unique.
Everything we know about Anthem makes it out to be a third-person-style Destiny-esque game that blends BioWare's worldbuilding, stories, and quests with online-based live services and multiplayer. And it's even possible the game will have microtransactions of some sort to fuel tons of new updates and engagement-driving content. But apparently there's more to Anthem that meets the eye and BioWare affirms the game will be totally new and unique.
In a recent post, returning BioWare General Manager Casey Hudson said that the studio has learned a lot from Mass Effect: Andromeda (especially the let down surrounding the Quarian Ark DLC) and promised that everything from characters, stories, and worldbuilding must be aligned with dev innovations. On other words, if the graphics are snazzy and fancy but the story falters, things are imbalanced and BioWare wants to avoid this.

Kratos voice actor describes the feeling of voicing a God
The voice actor behind the God of War Kratos has explained what it is like to voice and God and the responsibilities and feeling he had to endure while brining Kratos to life.
Sony Interactive Entertainment posted a video onto their YouTube channel and it details the Brazilian voice actor for Kratos, Ricardo Juarez. Juarez discusses the emotions Kratos has gone throuigh in his previous games, he also explains the changes Kratos has featured which tie into how the voice acting had to be adaptive and balanced.
Juarez says that Kratos' past rage and fury tone has been balanced in this game, this is mostly due to the fatherly relationship he now has with his son Atreus. Juarez says that learning to keep Kratos' anger tone but mixing it with a now more subtle and understanding tonality was his main goal when voicing the God.

Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition character trailer series
Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition is on its way to the Nintendo Switch and to celebrate the re-release being on the way Nintendo has released a character highlights trailer.
From the above trailer we get introduced to Link, Zelda, Impa, Linkle, Lana, Cia and Volga. We also get to see each of these characters in action, battling armies of foes with what seems like ease.
The re-release of Hyrule Warriors on the Nintendo Switch will be coming with specific optimizations for the hand-held console, while also improving the graphics, mechanics and adding more characters. The Wii U version of the game wasn't the most popular title on the console, some even saying it was a failure of a release, but with the recent mass popularity for the Nintendo Switch we could see a rebirth of Hyrule Warriors that could spark into quite an impressive launch.

Nintendo Magazine confirm gen 8/new mechanics Pokemon Switch
In a recent post found on the /r/NintendoSwitch subreddit photographs of a Mexican Nintendo magazine has surfaced, the images showcase Nintendo commenting on the upcoming Pokemon game for the Nintendo Switch.
The post by Kratomlol links to a Twitter post from Ahnabella, who has taken some images of the official Mexican Nintendo magazine, the images can be found below. Translating the Pokemon featured text we get this in English: "â€After a lifetime associated with portable consoles, the canonical pokemon will take the leap to a table with its eighth generation. game freak and the pokemon company are rethinking the saga to surprise with new mechanics, either in 2018 or later."
This is quite interesting as according to the magazine Nintendo's next Pokemon title for the Switch will have some new mechanics, this raises the question at what classic mechanics will be changed and what will be added in replacement. Pokemon fans on the Reddit thread seem to be debating over whether its time for the Pokemon series to debut to an open-world genre, or just stick to the same classic turn-based combat system. This decision of choosing between the two could divide the Pokemon community quite quickly, hopefully in the coming months we get some confirmation from Nintendo as the rumors are abundant right now.

DOOM II announcement at this years E3 could be a possibility
Pete Hines could have just dropped a cryptic message that suggests at this years E3 we could see a DOOM II announcement.
In a recent interview with DualShockers, Hines was questioned about what Bethesda has in store for its fans for the rest of 2018, Hines said he "couldn't give you any guesses as to what we're going to announce and when those games will be out" but there is "a lot of new stuff to talk about at E3."
More importantly though and this is where the speculation of a DOOM II announcement at this years E3 stems from. In the follow up question, Hines replied with this statement "Whether or not folks realize it, this is the hell on Earth [emphasis added] time for us with E3. We are in the midst of so much planning and work for all of that content but I'm really excited."

Star Wars Battlefront II microtransactions are back?! Why?!
There must be some serious mind control devices over at EA, with the publisher reintroducing microtransactions in Star Wars Battlefront II, because why the hell not.
Star Wars Battlefront II will receive a new update next week that will see Crystals return, the in-game currency that you can buy with real-world money. The upcoming Night on Endor update will include Crystals, with developer DICE introducing some big changes to microtransactions so that they can only adjust your in-game appearance, because that makes it so much better.
The developer removed microtransactions from the company after the force strike of backlash they received not so long ago. One of the more positive parts of the Battlefront II update is that you'll be able to play as Ewoks in the new limited-time Ewok Hunt game mod that throws you into a team of Ewoks against Stormtroopers in asymmetric mode.
