New Super Mario Bros. U/New Super Luigi U rumored for Switch

Rumors have surfaced about a coming New Super Mario Bros. U and New Super Luigi U coming to the Nintendo Switch. According to the rumors the title will be released sometime in 2018.

According to Comic Book, sources that are close to Nintendo Europe have told the website that Nintendo are planning on releasing port of 'New Super Mario Bros. U' for the Nintendo Switch. The rumor reveals that this port of New Super Mario Bros. U will also contain the paid DLC New Super Luigi U. Comic Book claims that these rumors have been provided by the same person who gave them accurate information regarding Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle, but no definitive proof has been provided.

Comic Book also says that the title of the finished game could be 'New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe', "It's unclear whether or not this could be an internal placeholder, but the recurring nature of this title among multiple Nintendo sources suggests it could be more final." This would make sense and it would certainly complement the Gameboy Color Super Mario Bros. Deluxe title.
