Leadtek is a brand most have forgotten, but man -- I remember owning the Leadtek GeForce4 Ti 4400 WinFast graphics card back in the day -- but check this out:

Say hello to the Leadtek GeForce RTX 3090 WinFast Hurricane, a new custom RTX 3090 that ships with a huge triple-slot, triple-fan cooler. Leadtek appears to be using a semi-custom design that sees the RTX 3090 WinFast Hurricane packing a PCB that looks like the reference RTX 3090 board.

The triple-fan cooler keeps a full copper GPU cooler base and thick aluminum heat sink with 6 x 6mm heat pipes nice and cool, although Leadtek is shipping its new custom GeForce RTX 3090 WinFast Hurricane graphics card with no factory overclock, but is 15MHz above reference RTX 3090 specs with its 1410/1695MHz base and boost GPU clocks, respectively.

NVIDIA will be launching its GeForce RTX 3070 graphics card later this month, but now the GA104-300 GPU that powers it has been spotted in the flesh going through validation.

You can see a bunch of those juicy new GA104-300 GPUs in a tray waiting to go through validation, with the validation test program running on the right. We can see there that it's the GA104 GPU, which packs 5888 CUDA cores, 184 TMUs, and 96 ROPs.

The new GeForce RTX 3070 will launch with 8GB of GDDR6 on a 256-bit memory bus, but we are to expect rumored RTX 3070 models with 16GB of GDDR6 in the near future.

NVIDIA has officially delayed the GeForce RTX 3070 launch by two weeks, coinciding within 24 hours of AMD's reveal of the RDNA 2-based Radeon RX 6000 series graphics cards.

The new GeForce RTX 3070 will launch on October 29, the day after AMD reveals its new Radeon RX 6000 series on October 28. NVIDIA announced the news in a very quick news post on their official website, with the original launch to happen on October 15... but this has since changed.

NVIDIA will now launch its GeForce RTX 3070 graphics card on October 28, and we will have day one reviews of all the cards that hit our labs.

Update: Overnight I had some people DM me on Twitter and email me informing me of some things that need to be clarified. First of all the cards were reportedly not sold out instantly, but it's because people couldn't buy them at all. There were bots that were scanning the inventory and completing the purchase all before the card hit the website or even Newegg's own search engine.

I had someone email me who I will keep anonymous, who said: "I did not run a bot but I had 3 sites open side by side. The original bad link, Reddit sub thread, new egg with a 3080 rtx search. I refreshed all 3 nonstop. The Reddit sub thread was updated with a new link and the new link showed out of stock. I saw it within seconds of being posted. Meanwhile there was no way to find the page for the card. It wasn't listed in the search or anywhere on the site through browsing".

The email continued: "I can only second hand confirm that people running bots saw the inventory disappear before the new page was posted. GIGABYTE did not enforce any of its policies they claimed were in place to prevent this. The entire launch, every single purchase was invalid based off the rules they stated. They didn't void any of the purchases though and instead turned their back on the community. We aren't mad because we only had 10 minutes to buy the card like your article implies".

We have just gotten our first peek at AMD's upcoming Big Navi in the form of the Navi 21 GPU that will power the flagship Radeon RX 6900 XT graphics card. Check it out:

The hot new picture of the Navi 21 GPU is courtesy of Coreteks, who said his sources said that this is the Big Navi "Navi 21" GPU that will power the Radeon RX 6900 XT. It's a gigantic GPU that looks to measure in at around 536mm2 (rough calculation).

What is more important here is the die features no HBM2 or HBM2e memory next to it, confirming that AMD will be going with GDDR6 (and 16GB of it) memory like the previous rumors have said.

Update: I've been informed that the Radeon RX 5700 XT is NOT discontinued, and it's still being made -- meanwhile the Radeon RX 5700 is on "special order".

AMD is reportedly no longer manufacturing its RDNA-powered Radeon RX 5700 series graphics cards, as they have entered End of Life (EOL) status.

The report is coming from Cowcotland, which says that AMD is no longer making reference or custom boards for RX 5700 series graphics cards. This means that whatever is left on retailer shelves and distribution warehouses across the world is it, AMD is clearing the path for Big Navi in November.

We are heading into the weekend with some rather exciting news on Big Navi, with AMD's next-gen RDNA 2 graphics architecture and new Radeon RX 6000 series graphics cards right around the corner... we have a big new tease on Navi 21.

The news is coming from Moore's Law is Dead (MLID) who says that the new Radeon RX 6900 XT graphics card -- powered by the Navi 21 GPU, will "challenge" NVIDIA's new GeForce RTX 3080. MLID notes that Navi 21 and the RX 6900 XT is "unlikely to win at everything".

Tom also notes that Navi 21 will not "outright win at 4K" against the RTX 3080, but it will have more VRAM (16GB versus 10GB) and have lower power consumption than the RTX 3080. AMD will reportedly be going with GDDR6 on their new cards, and not the higher-end GDDR6X memory.

It looks like NVIDIA is about to unleash Ampere into gaming laptops, with a new GPU spotted: codenamed GN20-E5-A1 (which refers to GA104 which will power GeForce RTX 3070 and GeForce RTX 3060 graphics cards in the very near future).

NVIDIA will be using GDDR6 memory on its GN20-E5-A1 chip, with the GeForce RTX 3070 Mobile packing SK Hynix mobiles labeled H56C8H24AIR. We should expect to see 8GB of GDDR6 on a 256-bit memory bus on the GA104-powered GeForce RTX 3070 Mobile GPU and the upcoming gaming laptops powered by the new chip.

The full GA104 GPU packs 6144 CUDA cores while the desktop GeForce RTX 3070 will pack 5888 CUDA cores -- we should expect some more cutting down in CUDA cores. We should expect NVIDIA to debut its new GeForce RTX 30 Mobile series GPUs sometime around CES 2021 in January.

We have been hearing about the new NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti graphics card, which will rock 8GB of GDDR6 and will launch after the RTX 3070. Now, we have some custom GIGABYTE models teased.

VideoCardz is reporting that some new certifications have been submitted to the Eurasian Economic Commission. GIGABYTE has 4 different models of the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti graphics card coming, these will include:

We are to expect the GA104-200 GPU with 4864 CUDA cores, 8GB of GDDR6 memory at 14Gbps on a 256-bit memory bus with 448GB/sec of memory bandwidth. We should expect these custom cards to have a 200W TDP or so.

AMD has just released its new Radeon Adrenalin 2020 20.9.2 drivers, which pack support for Star Wars: Squadrons, as well as a bunch of improvements especially for Radeon RX 5000 series graphics card owners.

NVIDIA's new GeForce Game Ready drivers are here, introducing Reflex support into Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and its battle royale mode Warzone, but we also have 8K DLSS ultra performance mode included.

The new drivers pack DLSS 8K ultra performance mode in particular games, including Control and Death Stranding -- which are both out now, as well as Minecraft and then Watch Dogs: Legion when it comes out, and others are they drop later this year and into 2021.

In games like Control, Death Stranding and Wolfenstein: Youngblood you'll see an option for DLSS "ultra performance" mode that is next to Quality, Balanced, and Performance. In this mode the rendering resolution is knocked down to 1440p while the AI-powered super resolution upscaling throws it up to 8K (7680 x 4320).

NVIDIA has released some new GeForce Game Ready 465.55 WHQL drivers that have a few tricks up their sleeve, including NVIDIA Reflex support for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: Warzone.

The new drivers also improve stability in certain games with the new GeForce RTX 30 series graphics cards, where users are reporting slightly less GPU boost clocks but improved stability in their games. I will be testing this out more during the week on my GeForce RTX 3080 and GeForce RTX 3090 graphics cards.

It has been quite the launch for NVIDIA and its new GeForce RTX 30 series graphics cards, with plenty of people across the world sharing their issues since launch, and especially over the weekend.

I took a few days off after working hundreds of hours to get the reviews ready, so I've been playing catch up and need to do some re-testing of my cards on the new drivers. NVIDIA has now released a somewhat official statement talking about the issue.

NVIDIA said: "Regarding partner board designs, our partners regularly customize their designs and we work closely with them in the process. The appropriate number of POSCAP vs. MLCC groupings can vary depending on the design and is not necessarily indicative of quality".

The entire GPU market is really out of whack right now, it's kinda unbelievable -- between a mountain of work to get the GeForce RTX 3080 and RTX 3090 reviews up -- while keeping up with all of the rumors from both sides is exhausting for everyone.

Well, now we have yet another Big Navi rumor that seems to paint the card in a not-so-great light. It seems that some pieces of the Big Navi puzzle are coming together with specs on the Navi 21-based Big Navi aka Sienna Cichlid.

Navi 21 will reportedly pack up to 80 compute units (CUs) where we should see 5120 stream processors, with a Navi 21A variant at 2050MHz while there will also reportedly be a Navi 21B at up to 2200MHz. The higher-end Navi 21B at 2200MHz would result in shader performance of around 22.5 TFLOPs -- which means it'll lose in a big way against NVIDIA's new GeForce RTX 3080 which has 29.8 TLFOPs.

NVIDIA launched the GeForce RTX 3080 just over a week ago now, and the GeForce RTX 3090 a few days ago -- while the GeForce RTX 3070 launches next month, we're now hearing the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti is right behind it.

According to our friends at VideoCardz, the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti is launching soon with 8GB of GDDR6 memory. It will be using the Ampere GA104-200 GPU with 4864 CUDA cores (compared to 5888 CUDA cores on the RTX 3070).

The 8GB of GDDR6 on the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti is reportedly clocked at 14Gbps on a 256-bit memory bus, with 448GB/sec of memory bandwidth. The reference board for the RTX 3060 Ti is at 180W or so, while custom boards are rated at up to 200W.

GAINWARD has just officially launched its new GeForce RTX 3090 and GeForce RTX 3080 Phantom series graphics cards, with an interesting style that actually looks great.

It seems GAINWARD will have 4 different models of its new RTX 30 series Phantom cards, with the GS (Golden Sample) being the best with the highest GPU boost clocks and highest TDP. They will use the same cooler as the other cards, but feature different PCBs.

All of the new cards will use 3 x 8-pin PCIe power connectors, with the highest-end GAINWARD GeForce RTX 3090 "GS" graphics card rocking a 420W TDP with boost GPU clocks of up to 1845MHz.

I don't know how I'd feel if I opened up the box to my newly-ordered, highly-anticipated EVGA GeForce RTX 3080 graphics card from Newegg to see it in the box, out of its retail packaging.

But this is what some gamers are experiencing, with Reddit posts showing that some people have been getting their new EVGA GeForce RTX 3080 graphics card from Newegg and it was in a box, but out of its retail packaging.

Not just that, but some of the cards were even physically damaged.

EVGA's upcoming GeForce RTX 3090 KINGPIN graphics card has been used Vince "KINGPIN" Lucido himself to utterly destroy the 3DMark Park Royal world record.

The new EVGA GeForce RTX 3090 KINGPIN graphics card will be using what looks to be the same (but I'm sure upgraded) cooler -- but the legendary OC specialist himself Vince 'Kingpin' Lucido used LN2 cooling to push the RTX 3090 KINGPIN graphics card to a huge 2.58GHz.

The previous record for 3DMark Port Royal and its Hall of Fame was from 'vmanuelgm' with a score of 14674, but KINGPIN blew that out of the water with 16673 and the LN2 cooled RTX 3090 KINGPIN graphics card. He used an Intel Core i9-10900KF processor alongside the RTX 3090 KINGPIN on LN2 cooling.

We are just getting our first look at the purported NVIDIA Quadro RTX A6000 graphics card, with a look at the new card and its blower-style cooler below:

The leak is coming from Moore's Law is Dead, with the next-gen Quadro RTX graphics card pictured here to reportedly be the Quadro RTX A6000. We are to expect 48GB of GDDR6 memory on a 384-bit memory bus with 768GB/sec of memory bandwidth from the card.

NVIDIA seems to be going with a dual-fan design and short PCB, but we don't know if the company is using the same V-shaped PCB that it has on the GeForce RTX 3090 Founders Edition and GeForce RTX 3080 Founders Edition graphics cards.

First we had GIGABYTE outing the new GeForce RTX 3080 with 20GB, a new RTX 3070 with 16GB, and then the RTX 3060 with 8GB.

Now it's time for GALAX to get onto the "leak" game that NVIDIA doesn't seem to be stopping (free hype and marketing), with a new "internal leaked roadmap". You can see at the top of GALAX's roadmap is the GeForce RTX 3090 -- but right under that is the RTX 3080 20GB, and then RTX 3080 10GB.

We also have a new 'PG142 SKU 0' which should manifest into the GeForce RTX 3070 SUPER or GeForce RTX 3070 Ti. Under that we have the RTX 3070 which is coming in October, and then the RTX 3060 which should roll out with the TU106 GPU.
