NASA has just found a new galaxy that is shining as brightly as, wait for it... 300 trillion suns. That's a lot of zeroes: 300,000,000,000,000 suns. One sun is bright, but 300 trillion? Ugh, I need some new sunglasses.

The discovery has been so large for NASA that they've had to create a new classification for it, and the 19 other galaxies they discovered. These new galaxies are extremely luminous infrared galaxies, or ELIRGs for short. NASA has said that the new ELIRGs are "the most luminous galaxy found to date". NASA scientists spotted the ELIRGs with their Wide-field Infrared Survey Explorer (WISE) space telescope.

The ELIRGs that NASA found are located 12.5 billion light years away, which is why it's so damn bright. NASA JPL scientist Chao-Wei Tsai says that it "may be from the main growth spurt of the galaxy's black hole".

I really have to stop reading about Intel's upcoming Xeon platforms, as I'm just going to disappoint myself that I'll never own one. The chipmaker is teasing its next-gen Xeon Skylake platform: Purley. The new architecture is going to be quite the leap over the current generation, with support for 6-channel DDR4, up from the quad-channel DDR4 support we have today.

Skylake Purley will be one of the biggest updates to the Xeon platform in quite a long time, with Skylake EX Purley supporting not just 6-channel DDR4, but up to eight processors that support 28 cores per chip, too. We also have the AVX 512 instruction set that will include the 100G OmniPath interconnect.

The OmniPath interconnect is something you've probably never heard of before, which is something that will be called Storm Lake. The PCH itself will be codenamed Lewisburg, with it sporting updated Ethernet controllers. The TDP that Skylake EX Purley processors will have will be between 45W and 165W, with CPUs slotting into something called Socket P. Another major update to the platform will see the number of PCIe slots increased to 48, with x4, x8 and x16 divisions allowed, which is a big upgrade to the platform.

Hailing from the United Kingdom, master modder Richi 'rchiileea+richi' Bowzer has been selected as one of seven modders to go head to head with other big names that TweakTown has already covered in Thermaltake's caseMOD invitational competition - check out Stuart Tonks (AUS) and Fabio Moma (JP).

Now that it's here, we have an unboxing video that you can check out above, which shows off the external packaging Apple has used. For $10,000+, the packaging is virtually identical to that of the stainless steel Apple Watch, except for the 18-karat gold casing and unique band on the side of the Watch.

Inside of the Apple Watch Edition box, we have the colored leather-covered box that features the MagSafe connector, with a color-matched cleaning cloth with the word 'Edition' embossed into the material. As we get closer to the official announcement and launch of the Radeon R9 390X from AMD, all we have to enjoy for now are leaked benchmarks that show the "Fiji XT" card beating out the GeForce GTX Titan X, barely.

With its super-fast HBM, the AMD Radeon R9 390X beats out the NVIDIA GeForce GTX Titan X, the unreleased and expected GTX 980 Ti, and every other single GPU solution from NVIDIA in the average scores from 19 benchmarks according to a leaked look at the next-gen card from AMD.

When it comes to power consumption, it looks like AMD's next-gen Fiji architecture and High Bandwidth Memory aren't enough to save it from the perils of high power consumption. The leaked benchmarks show that the R9 390X uses 289W of power, which is just 3W away from the R9 290X which is quite the consumer of power. Comparing this to the Titan X which uses 256W, and the GTX 980 Ti which uses 235W, AMD is once again consuming a large amount of power in order to beat NVIDIA.

We've heard previous rumors of the PlayStation 5 in that it would be a cloud-based console, with the producer of Tekken teasing that it wouldn't be a physical console at all. Now we're seeing job postings from Sony, teasing the PS5 once again.

On the official Sony PlayStation page, the Japanese giant is looking for a "Senior Game Programmer", with the job description reads: "We have an exciting opportunity at Sony Computer Entertainment of America (PlayStation). We seek a senior game programmer to assist us in developing a game used for R&D purposes related to our next generation gaming system. For someone passionate about gaming this is a very rare opportunity. After reviewing the below job profile, if this is you, please apply!"

The PS4 has enjoyed 19 months on the market so far, but most games are not being rendered at 1080p let alone 1080p 60FPS. I think Sony would cannabalize PS4 sales with a new console, but if it introduced the PS5 with a discrete GPU and told consumers and gamers that it was capable of 4K 60FPS and 1080p 120FPS, for $499, it would sell very well. Project Morpheus, Sony's virtual reality headset, is going to need much more grunt than the PS4 is capable of to deliver a great VR experience, so bring on the PS5.

Intel has said that the development of its 10nm technology is coming along well, with the chipmaker to begin talking about its plans for the future using 10nm later in the year.

President of Intel, Renee James, said during a recent Q&A session with stockholders at Intel's annual meeting: "The 10nm development is progressing very well. You will start to see start-up cost in the second half of the year on 10nm. We will talk about the timing of [10nm] later this year - the early part of next year about when that will happen".

We don't know much about Intel and its 10nm manufacturing process, but the company is wanting to increase transistor density, while reducing per transistor cost. This is something that other companies have failed to do with their shift into 14nm and 16nm FinFET processes, but Intel will hopefully see much more success with its 10nm technology.

F1 2015 had an original release window of June, but Codemasters has just delayed the game to July 10. To try and fan the rage away, Codemasters released a new in-engine teaser trailer, which you can see below.

With F1 2015 built from the ground up for current generation consoles, it also sports a brand new engine and handling model. Codemasters' Game Director, Paul Jeal, has come out and said: "F1 2015 marks an exciting new chapter for Codemasters and FORMULA ONE; it's a shift in direction for the game series, on new formats and our brand new game engine, with the game set to be released earlier in the season, launching this June". Jeal added: "The handling is a vast improvement from our previous games. In particular our new tyre model is a superb step forward towards realism, letting you explore where the limit is and allowing you to instantly feel much more connected with the car".

He continued: "You can now experience the changes in grip caused by temperature changes, wear, car set-up, debris and weather conditions. Our improved vehicle dynamics much more accurately convey the difference in performance and the feel between mechanical and aerodynamic grip. The new Force Feedback system adds to the feeling of connection with the car and track surface. The more natural and realistic nature of the game physics also serves to ensure that the racing experience is more accessible, enjoyable and rewarding for players of all skill levels".

One of the more exciting parts of E3 2015 will be the PC Gaming Show at E3 2015, with AMD teaming up with PC Gamer, with big names like Twitch, Bohemia Interactive, Tripwire and Digital Storm to be participating.

But, there have been a few new developers joining the event, with ArenaNet, CCP Games, Creative Assembly, Fullbright, Frictional Games, Frontier Developments, Nexon, Pixel Titans, SCS Software and Splash Damage joining in the fun. The PC Gaming Show will take place during E3 2015, where Sean 'Day[9]' Plott will be hosting the event at the Belasco Theater in LA on June 16, 2015.

We are expecting to see AMD unveil the Radeon R9 390X at the event, as well as a big concentration on PC gaming and everything that surrounds it.

It looks like virtual reality is still destined to rule video games and movies, but that doesn't mean there aren't plenty of other uses. Silicon Valley company STRIVR Labs is developing a virtual reality sports tool that allows football players to make play reads, learn plays interactively, and execute game-type reps using an Oculus VR Rift headset.

"It was one of the few times in your coaching career when you're watching something and you think, 'This is a game-changer,'" said Bret Bielema, coach of the Arkansas Razorbacks college football team, in a statement to the media. This is gonna change the way we teach young men."

Technology is fully embraced by collegiate and professional sports, with game film and plays distributed via HDTVs, smartphones and tablets - with VR expected to add a new element. It's especially helpful in sports because coaches can have players make natural movements like they were in an actual game or scrimmage, while all the data is immediately captured.

Google has owned multitasking on Android for quite a while now, but it looks like Apple might play catch up when it releases iOS 9 in the near future. iOS 9 might usher in proper multitasking to the iPad, allowing two apps to be open at once, side-by-side, according to sources close to 9to5Mac.

iOS 9 will reportedly offer 1/2, 1/3 and 2/3 views depending on the app being used, with the option of running two separate applications at once, or multi views of the same apps. Split-screen app support was planned for iOS 8, but Apple said the feature wasn't ready and pushed it back to iOS 8.1, where history repeated itself, and Apple pushed the feature back to iOS 9.

Edward Snowden is back in the news, talking about a plan that the NSA had to have malware in various app stores, like the Google Play Store, and Apple iTunes Store.

The NSA program was called IRRITANT HORN, with the US spy agency wanting to find the path of web traffic to and from mobile application severs that are owned by Google and Samsung. Once the NSA found this traffic, it would place an attack in the middle, where it could silently inject malware and spying tools into a mobile device of its choice.

After it had planted this software, it could pull out e-mails, texts, search history, call records, videos, photos and anything else you have on your device. Thanks to the user thinking they're on an official app store, they would be unaware that they're being attacked by the US government in the form of the NSA.
