Steam is back at it again with another weekend sale that heavily discounts a bunch of select titles. Steam users can save up to 75% if they utilize this sale.

This new publisher weekend sale is purely under Stardock and their massive range of titles. Games that are currently discounted and will be discounted for the entire weekend are: Galactic Civilizations III (+DLC's), Star Control: Origins, Offworld Trading Company, Ashes of the Singularity: Escalation, Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion, Sorcerer King: Rivals, Fences, Multiplicity and Start10.

It is also detailed in the announcement that games published by Stardock that also feature DLC's come under the sale category, bringing discounts to that little bit of extra content players might want. If you don't know who Stardock is, the publisher is best known for its strategy titles such as Galactic Civilizations, Sins of a Solar Empire and Offworld Trading Company. Telsa has taken to their official blog to detail their newly released update 10.0 for the following Tesla Model Cars; S, X and 3. Cuphead has now been added to the Tesla Arcade.

According to the blog post that was released onto the Tesla website, Tesla owners will use a USB controller to enjoy Cuphead in either single player or co-op modes. The Tesla edition to the title includes the games first full level and allows for Tesla owners to "Traverse strange worlds, acquire new weapons, learn super moves, and discover hidden secrets while you try to pay your debt back to the devil".

It should also be noted that Tesla' update 10.0 is their biggest software update ever and also adds Netflix, YouTube and Hulu to the car. Users can connect to their streaming accounts and watch their favorite TV shows, movies and whatever other content they like watching when the car is parked or charging. Astrophysicists out of the College of Charleston have issued a new paper that has been published in The Astrophysical Journal suggesting something can move faster than the speed of light.

One of the core principles of physics is Einstein's Theory of General Relativity, which states that no object can move faster than the speed of light. This is because when an object is moved it requires energy, and as an object is moved faster and faster its mass grows becoming 'heavier' requiring more energy. So when an object reaches close to the speed of light (299792458 meters per second) its mass is almost infinite making it impossible to surpass this speed.

Jon Hakkila and Robert Nemiroff aren't going against Einstein's established ruling, but what they have found is that gamma rays that are blasting out of a blazar (an active galactic nucleus with a relativistic jet. Above image) surpass the speed of light in surrounding gas clouds. This would make these gamma-ray jets superluminal. It was found that this isn't the case in a vacuum, meaning that Einstein's theory still holds solid cosmological ground. Here is what Hakkila said "Standard gamma-ray burst models have neglected time-reversible light curve properties. Superluminal jet motion accounts for these properties while retaining a great many standard model features."

Overwatch is set to go through one of its biggest changes ever, with developer Blizzard Entertainment set to launch an exciting new "remaster" update to the game.

The new v1.41 patch for Overwatch is currently in the Public Test Realm (PTR) weighing in at around 8GB, which is one of the largest updates Overwatch has ever received. Blizzard has tweaked (both in buffing, and nerfing) a huge slate of heroes that will shake up the entire meta of the game.

Microsoft has teamed with Google to bring Google Assistant to the Xbox family of consoles, so now you can just sit on your couch and yell 'Hey Google' to get things done on your console.

You can now use Google Assistant to turn your Xbox on and off, start up an app or resume paused games, as well as take screenshots. It's virtually identical to the Xbox skill available for Alexa, but now it's all-Google baby.

Funnily enough, Microsoft supports Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant -- culling Cortana from the Xbox in its last update. Microsoft itself explained that it was "moving away from on-console experiences to cloud-based assistant experiences".

Nugget Noggin is a YouTuber that dives to the bottom of rivers to find lost, sunken treasure -- where his latest expedition involved finding an iPhone inside of a trashed waterproof case... and it still worked! Check out the video below:

Michael Bennett is "Nugget Noggin" who has videos on him diving into various rivers to find all sorts of goods, but his latest adventure to the bottom of the Edisto River in South Carolina saw him discovering a sunken iPhone, retrieving it, and returning it to its rightful owner.

Bennett was interviewed by local news outlet WDAM 7 where he said: "I came across something that looked kind of like a rope maybe attached to car keys, and when I pulled it up, I seen a phone inside of a waterproof case and I'm like, 'No way, this is unbelievable!"

It wasn't too long ago the world was shocked to hear about the announcement of The Matrix 4, but now mega star Keanu Reeves has chimed in saying he's read the script.

Reeves said that The Matrix 4 will start shooting in 2020, and during a special screening of Semper Fi (a movie made by his sister) he said he was "absolutely" excited about Neo's new adventures. He said in regards to the story for The Matrix 4 that "it's very ambitious, as it should be!".

The Matrix 4 is expected for a 2020 release with the Wachowski bros (now sisters) continuing to direct their franchise, while Reeves will be in John Wick 4 which is going to drop in 2021. Aleksandar Hemon and David Mitchell have co-written The Matrix 4 with the Wachowski's.

That's right friends, we have a pair of TweakTown boots on the ground in Seoul Korea. Today at Intel Memory and Storage Day, Intel showed something that can only be described as HOLY S*&% fast.

Intel had a demo rig, with a prototype version of new OPTANE DC Persistent Memory modules. This was not just for show as the modules had plenty of GO! Now we have to temper our expectations for this as this is purely a tech capabilities demo which is why we added the above disclaimer. With that out of the way, I will mirror the words of our soldier on-site Mr. Jon Coulter who passed this info along and observed the demo first hand.

There are people out there that get triggered (no, really) when their social media posts don't get as many likes as they wanted, or less likes than someone else. Facebook has a solution -- remove all Likes.

Starting tomorrow in Australia, Facebook will hide Like counts on posts. We knew Facebook was working on this a little while ago, but now we'ere here and while the Likes will be hidden from the public the author can still see how many people Liked their posts.

Instagram is also testing something similar by hiding its Likes, and remember Instagram is owned by Facebook so we're seeing similar internal changes being made across both platforms. The end goal here from Facebook is they want you to not feel like you can't express yourself, and not have people judge posts by the stories you share, or the amount of Likes there are.

NVIDIA has just announced its new RTX Broadcast Engine, a new gaming-focused feature that taps the Tensor Cores available on Turing GPUs inside of the GeForce RTX series of graphics cards.

RTX BRoadcast Engine will be capable of live filters, greenscreening, and other game-focused features for Twitch streamers. NVIDIA is doing some impressive stuff here as it can fully remove the background from your stream with RTX Greenscreen, replacing whatever is behind you with gameplay, or something else entirely.

NVIDIA explains in a press release: "The RTX Greenscreen AI model understands which part of an image is human and which is background, so gamers get the benefits of a greenscreen without needing to buy one".

Today's Outbreak Day, and Naughty Dog celebrates by discussing tons of info on The Last of Us Part II.

The Last of Us Part II is Naughty Dog's most ambitious game, and coming from the team that made Uncharted 4, that's saying a lot. The sequel will be the largest title the studio has ever made (it'll span two Blu-ray discs on PS4) and makes some big changes to core gameplay, including going 100% singleplayer. "It's definitely the most ambitious in scope game that we've ever made," said co-game director Anthony Newman.

Simple things like traversal have been amped up with more emphasis on verticality, climbing, and the overall action-adventure exploration avenues set forth by Uncharted. Ellie is more agile, fluid, and stealthy in the sequel: she can jump, climb, long jump across wide spaces, dodge-roll, go prone in high grass, and stealthily sneak. Naughty Dog also added a nifty "squeeze through" feature that lets you slide through tight spaces.

Nintendo's new Mario Kart mobile game is immensely popular on iOS and Android, amassing 20 million downloads in its first day.

Mario Kart Tour is Nintendo's quickest-downloaded mobile game of all time, eclipsing Super Mario Run by over 13 million downloads. Nintendo's new free-to-play racer also sped out of the gate with over $1 million in revenues in the first 24 hours, proving its lootbox monetization model is working. Comparatively, Nintendo's breadwinner mobile game Fire Emblem Heroes raked in a considerable $4.3 million in its first day.

There's a fly in the ointment, though: Nintendo packed in a controversial paid subscription within the free-to-play Mario Kart game. Dubbed the Mario Kart Tour Gold Pass, this $4.99 a month subscription gives extra bonuses like cosmetics and an exclusive 200cc mode. This aggressive over-monetization could harm the overall sticking rate of paid gamers, at least in North America.

Death Stranding's peculiar and rather unique multiplayer won't be paygated behind PlayStation Plus.

Death Stranding's online multiplayer is pretty interesting. It's more of an indirect experience that lets you communicate, share, and help others...all without actually playing with them. The game has a shared world where you can drop items, gear, vehicles, and even help modify bases and build environment-changing structures like bridges. It's all about symbiosis, helping, and connecting with others.

Since there's no direct co-op or PVP action, Sony won't require PS Plus in order to play Death Stranding online. The news was outed from a GAME UK listing for the special edition Death Stranding PS4, whose box says "Death Stranding does not require PlayStation Plus." The North American box doesn't have this sticker, though.

The Last of Us Part II is a purely narrative-driven singleplayer game and won't have any sort of online multiplayer mode.

Unlike the first The Last of Us game, the sequel doesn't have multiplayer. This folds perfectly in with Sony's recent focus on singleplayer, system-selling exclusives, a trend that won't change even with the PlayStation 5 on the horizon.

"We're focusing on a single-player experience, so we're just making a single-player game for this," lead game designer Emilia Schatz told US Gamer.

It looks like Xbox One X consoles are struggling to handle Borderlands 3 in its current form, with players reporting (since launch I might add) that their consoles are overheating and shutting down while playing the game.

There are a bunch of people reporting this issue with 2K posting on the /r/XboxOne subreddit that it is aware of the issue, and the team is currently working on a fix. No date or time was announced, but at least 2K are aware of the issue.

How games launch this badly in 2019, is another question... however, plenty of comments on the Reddit post added that they have Xbox One X consoles and have no issues with Borderlands 3. On the other hand, some said that they experienced overheating issues with their Xbox One X shutting down to prevent further issues.

Prepare the salt shakers because this rumor is a doozy -- AMD's next-gen Zen 3 architecture reportedly features massive changes to its SMT capabilities that would enable 4 threads per core.

This means Zen 3 processors with 64 cores could have up to 256 threads, something that would be quite the leap from AMD compared to the current EPYC Rome CPUs with 64C/128T max. The 4 threads per core processors would be perfect for the data center and HPC markets, and would pave the way for gigantic performance improvements from all those threads.

4 cores per thread isn't exactly new, with IBM supporting it with its Power CPU architecture supporting a huge 8 execution threads per core. AMD would, however, be the first with 4 cores per thread on an x86 micro architecture.

Death Stranding is finished and off to manufacturing, with Hideo Kojima himself announcing on Twitter that Death Stranding has gone gold.

In the tweet, Kojima said it had been 3 years and 9 months since the doors at Kojima Productions opened, and he thanked Sony, Guerrilla, cast members, musicians, artists, staff, and fans for supporting him and the team behind Death Stranding.

Old school gamers are aware of what 'gone gold' means -- but if you don't, it means the game is in 'release quality'. This means everything that makes the game work is fully functional for you to boot it up, play it, and finish it. There will be niggly bugs to be fixed here and there, but a full playthrough of Death Stranding is now possible.

While it might not be the same feeling as playing on an actual table-top, its still extremely convenient to be able to play table-top games online with friends whenever you want. Dual Masters Play's is about to make very same transition.

Above we have the new announcement by companies Takara Tomy and DeNA for Dual Masters Play's arriving on both iOS and Android devices. The app will feature everything that the normal table-top game does plus some more features; deck building, custom character creation, single-player mode and appearances from legendary dualists such as hobu Kirifuda, Kyoshiro Kokujo, and Hakuoh.

It should be noted that there is a closed beta test that is planned from early October until October 24. Players should also note that there will only be 10,000 players selected from iOS and Android respectively, so if you really want to get into the beta sign-up ASAP.

Amazon have announced their first iteration of smart-jewelry, coming in the form of rings that allow users to take Alex anywhere.

Introducing Amazon's Alex-powered smart-ring wearable, The Echo Loop. From the above image, you can see that The Echo Loop is a thick-banded black ring. Its made out of titanium and has a tiny button located in the middle of the ring if you look close enough. According to Engadget who got to go hands-on with the new wearable, the Echo Loop requires users to press the small button to activate Alexa, and then users must raise their hand to the small microphone on the ring so the command can be heard.

Engadget's Nicole Lee said she felt like she was in a "goofy spy movie" as she would have to raise her had to her mouth to speak into the ring and then to her ear to hear the response. Lee also mentions that Echo Ring vibrates a little when Alexa is listening and whenever the user gets notifications. It is also detailed that the ring comes in four size variants; small, medium, large and extra large. Battery life isn't so good for the time being as Amazon says the ring will last about a single day before it needs charging. Amazon-owned company Ring has announced a new line of products at Amazon's annual hardware event. This year we are introduced to the new 'Cam' series of cameras, designed to apply a better level of security for users' homes. The new refresh of the 'Stick Up Cam' shoots in 1080p and has night vision as well as motion detection. It also has the ability to be solar, battery, or wired charged. Each of which have a different price point.

For people that are looking at spending less money on security cameras, Amazon and Ring offer the 'Indoor Cam. This camera is more budget friendly, but obviously can only be used indoors and is wired only. Moving onto pricing now, the Stick Up Cam Battery comes in at $99.99, the Stick Up Cam Plug-In sits at $99.99 and the Stick Up Cam Solar finishes up at $148.99.
