A few weeks ago, it was announced that Bill and Melinda Gates are divorcing, and since then, reports have surfaced regarding why they have divorced.

Last week, a report from The Wall Street Journal suggested that Melinda was considering divorcing Bill for two years before the divorce was official. The Journal also suggested that the main speculative reason behind the divorce was that Melinda was upset with Bill's close friendship with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

According to people who had knowledge of his companies and financial dealings and told The New York Times, Bill had pursued other women who worked at Microsoft and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. At the moment, six former employees of Gates have said that the billionaire's actions caused them to feel "uncomfortable".

Last week, Elon Musk stopped accepting Bitcoin (BTC) as payment for Tesla vehicles, and since then, speculation has started that Musk sold Tesla's Bitcoin holdings for a profit.

Musk announced that Tesla will no longer accept BTC as payment, citing the cryptocurrency's fossil fuel usage for Bitcoin mining and transactions. Tesla's announcement caused BTC's value to tumble downwards, which sparked a lot of controversy online where people speculated that Musk was manipulating the price of BTC for profit.

Now, the Twitter account Bitcoin archive posted the above Tweet, stating "Bitcoin is down 20% since Elon Musk started sh*tposting. And you wonder why some people are mad?". Musk replied to this tweet, stating the following, "To clarify speculation, Tesla has not sold any Bitcoin". As you may expect, this Tweet from Musk clarifying that Tesla is still holding its BTC will no doubt affect the price of BTC, which at the time of writing this is sitting at around $44,000.

Twitter could be about to change things up massively with the rumored introduction of a subscription service, with new rumors suggesting it will be called Twitter Blue and it will cost $2.99 per month (for now).

The new Twitter Blue subscription service would offer things that you don't get in Twitter normally because you know... you'd be a premium user now. So you would get a cool new "undo tweet" feature, a new bookmarks collection for premium Twitter Blue users.

This means you can go all OCD and bookmark everything you want to read later and use Twitter more similarly to a scrapbook. I'm a Google Keep guy myself, but potato potahto. We're told to expect more features that will also be coming from recent Twitter acquisitions, including Scroll and Revue.

We might not see this happen right away, but we're going to move away from that damn 24-pin power connector going into motherboards towards something far smaller, better, and more power-efficient.

Intel seems to be the one that is pushing for the new power-efficient ATX12VO power standard, with the launch of its upcoming 12th Gen Core "Alder Lake-S" platform. But the thing is: motherboard makers and PSU manufacturers aren't happy with the news.

It would mean a new 10-pin power connector on your motherboard -- so, a new motherboard. It would also mean a new 10-pin power connector ready on your new PSU, as the power supply can't feature any other power rails other than 12V. If voltage is lower or higher than 12V then it means the motherboard will be converting that power, and not the PSU like normal.

We last heard about AMD's next-gen Zen 4-powered EPYC processors a few months ago now back in February 2021, and now there's a new (but old) roadmap teasing Zen 4 embedded products.

The roadmap is sold old here that the Zen 3-based EPYC 7003 series processors are a "concept" yet they have already been released, so the roadmap is a few years old. On this roadmap, we can see the Zen 1-based EPYC 7001 series CPUs with their planned up to 32 cores and 64 threads meanwhile the Zen 2-based EPYC 7003 series had up to 64 cores and 128 threads.

But AMD wasn't finished there, as you can see the Zen 4-based EPYC 7004 series will have over 64 cores, with previous rumors pegging it to offer a monstrous 96 cores and 192 threads. You will also notice the new Zen 4-based EPYC 7004 series has a TDP of between 120W and 230W+ or more, while the other EPYC chips tapped out at 225W.

We all know Elon Musk is a huge Dogecoin enthusiast as he is often referred to now as the Dogefather, with the SpaceX and Tesla boss giving some tips to Dogecoin developers.

In a recent tweet, Musk said he was "working with Doge devs to improve system transaction efficiency. Potentially promising" -- but that was May 14 and that is an eternity in the world of cryptocurrencies, and the life of Elon Musk. In his latest tweet, Musk was replying to someone who said Dogecoin was superior to Bitcoin in many ways.

Musk replied to a tweet that said "Dogecoin has faster transaction speeds, lower fees, and less environmental impact" than Bitcoin. The tweet continued, saying Doge is "affordable for regular folks because of its high supply" to which Musk replied: "Ideally, doge speeds up block time 10X, increases block size 10X and drops fee 100X. Then it wins hands down".

Uh oh... a huge kerfuffle has taken place on Twitter between Elon Musk and podcaster Peter McCormack, with Musk replying to McCormack's huge Twitter thread. You can check out that thread here:

But in reply to that thread, Musk says "obnoxious thread like this make me want to go all in on Doge" and I'm sure that has people in a state of shock. Musk is the type of person who would just flex billions of dollars into Dogecoin in an instant and see the price not just skyrocket -- but go through a freaking wormhole to somewhere lightyears away.

I don't think the Tesla and SpaceX boss would go "all-in" with Dogecoin but holy hell would that be insane to see, billions of dollars flowing into Dogecoin. Musk is already the face of Dogecoin as it is, and wants to send a "literal Dogecoin to the literal moon" and then made it a much bigger step (and soon a giant leap) into reality with SpaceX announcing its DOGE-1 Mission to the Moon.

AT&T and Discovery are reportedly set to announce that they will be combining their media assets into one, super-gigantic content beast that will fight Netflix and Disney in the current -- and more importantly, future content and streaming wars.

Legendary Final Fantasy 7 director Yoshinori Kitase is now the brand manager for the Final Fantasy game series.

At the Final Fantasy XIV Fan Fest 2021 event, MMO producer Naoki Yoshida confirms Yoshinori Kitase now controls the future of the popular RPG franchise. Kitase has been instrumental in shaping the creative forces behind the series and directed both Final Fantasy 7 and 8, and producer a ton of games including Final Fantasy 10, 13, and the new Final Fantasy 7 Remake.

Yoshida says Kitase was named brand manager in April, however Square Enix didn't reveal any information to investors on its IR page. Hashimoto had served as the steward of the franchise for many years, overseeing Square Enix's internal Business Division 3 for six years.

Endwalker brings two new job classes: The healing Sage and the scythe-wielding DPS job class Reaper, as well as a bunch of new areas like the Mare Lamentorum on the surface of the moon and a new beautiful, Greek-inspired city of Old Sharlayan. Endwalker will also take us to the capital city of Garlemald to face the cold, calculating Garlean Empire.

Endwalker is a fitting name for the new FFXIV expansion--it brings the end of an era. This will be the fourth major FFIXV A Realm Reborn expansion, and everything Square Enix has done across the last 8 years has been building up to this epic climax between the goddess Hydaelyn and her foe Zodiark. As the world of Hydaelyn burns, the Warrior of Light will face the tyrannical Garlean Empire on the surface on the moon.

Content-wise, Endwalker brings a bunch of new updates. There's a new Reaper DPS job class that wields a giant scythe and some very Bloodborne-esque threads, and a new Sage healer class. Endwalker brings a new playable Male Viera race and some amazing-looking new areas, including the city of Old Sharlayan, as well as other areas like Mare Lamentorum on the moon's surface and the very Greek-esque Labyrinthos.

VentureBeat journalist Jeff Grubb asserts Starfield will be exclusive to PC and Xbox consoles, a move that Microsoft has telegraphed.

Like any business that makes a $7.5 billion acquisition, Microsoft wants to make back its investment as soon as possible. That's why Starfield, the latest singleplayer space epic from Bethesda, is likely to be exclusive to Xbox platforms.

So why is Microsoft doing this? Starfield's exclusivity is part of Microsoft's long haul approach. The idea isn't necessarily to sell full games (although that's part of it). Starfield's exclusivity would help drive Game Pass subscription growth and retention. Microsoft's entire business model is built around a cohesive webwork of services that A) generated subscription revenues, B) pull in microtransactions, and C) help propel full game sales.

Sony is finally releasing a black DualSense controller eight months after the PlayStation 5's release.

Sony recently announced two new color variants for the PS5's DualSense controller: Midnight Black and Cosmic Red. Gamers have been clamoring for an all-black PS5 controller since launch and Sony has taken its time accommodating their requests. The accessories feature a new paint job that's also reflected in the clear D-Pad and face buttons.

Cost wise, the Cosmic Red is actually more expensive than the default white DualSense. The Cosmic Red DualSense controller will cost $74.99 versus the $69.99 MSRP of the Midnight Black and the basic white version.

Following some leaked concept art showing a very John Berkey-esque style, new in-game screenshots for Bethesda's new Starfield IP have leaked out.

New leaked Starfield screenshots give us a sample of the game's rendered environments, including ship interiors and confirmations of both a first-person and third-person view. According to SkulziTV, who found the images, the leaks are from an older build from 2018. These are nowhere near finalized images that represent the release version of the game.

Bethesda has likely made tremendous progress since then.

Demand for gaming hardware is surging and like competitors Microsoft and Sony, Nintendo is having trouble catching up.

COVID-19 has supercharged the games industry. Hardware is flying off the shelves, and Nintendo's Switch system just hit its all-time best sales five years after release. The heavy demands are squeezing chip manufacturers leading to constrained hardware availability. Nintendo boosted its Switch production in 2020, and it hopes to do the same to meet its 25.5 million Switch shipment target, but Nintendo President Shuntaro Furukawa says this might not happen.

In a recent Q&A session with investors, Furukawa gave a rather transparent response to possible chip shortages. The president reiterates the company's sales target reflects its current production allotment. Reports say Nintendo is planning to release a 4K-ready Switch model that may use a new custom NVIDIA SoC, but Furukawa didn't comment.

Corsair has said that it is preparing for the next generation of memory -- DDR5 -- in a new post on its website. The company said that DDR4 has "had a great run" with its DOMINATOR PLATINUM RGB, VENGEANCE RGB PRO SL, and VENGEANCE LPX memory kits.

But, the next-gen DDR5 memory standard is on the way and has some major improvements for the PCs of today, tomorrow, and into the future. Corsair begins by explaining that DDR5 will be increasing the memory speed cap that is on DDR4, right up to the huge DDR5-6400 with 51GB/sec of bandwidth -- up from DDR4-3200 and its 26GB/sec of bandwidth.

Not only that, but the single DIMM capacity is pretty insane when it comes to DDR5 where you can have 128GB in a single stick... incredible stuff, up from the 32GB single stick DDR4 and 8GB single stick DDR3. Imagine 8 x 128GB DDR5 memory sticks in your PC for a total of 1TB system RAM.
