Sony has not confirmed a PlayStation 6 (PS6) release date, but leaks point to a late 2027-early 2028 launch window. The console (codenamed Orion) is rumored to feature a custom AMD Zen 6 CPU, RDNA 5 GPU, and GDDR7 memory, delivering up to triple the PS5's performance. A dockable handheld companion device may also launch alongside it, further expanding Sony's next-gen ecosystem.
