NVIDIA is reportedly working on a GeForce RTX 3070 Ti graphics card, with VideoCardz sources sharing "the latest information" that they have on the purported GeForce RTX 3070 Ti.

According to their AIB sources we're looking at NVIDIA using the Ampere GA104-400 GPU for the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti graphics card, with 6144 CUDA cores and 8GB of GDDR6X memory. We are told to expect the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti on shelves -- I don't think there'll be enough numbers for them to actually touch the shelves -- by the end of May.

For comparison, the GeForce RTX 3070 uses the GA104-300 GPU with 5888 CUDA cores and 8GB of GDDR6 (non-X) memory @ 14Gbps on a 256-bit memory bus with up to 448GB/sec of memory bandwidth. We should expect a decent upgrade in memory bandwidth thanks to the use of GDDR6X memory.

NVIDIA's much-touted GeForce RTX 3080 Ti has been teased again, this time with a tweaked GPU, less VRAM, and a new mid-April release date.

The new GeForce RTX 3080 Ti rumor is coming from VideoCardz that reports "NVIDIA has recently distributed the first embargo information to board partners in regard to GeForce RTX 3080 Ti. The latest information features a different GPU variant compared to previous leaks. The PG132 SKU 18 board design, also known as RTX 3080 Ti would feature GA102-225 GPU".

This new GA102-225 GPU reportedly has the same 10240 CUDA cores as the previously rumored GA102-250 GPU, with the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti being pegged to have 12GB of GDDR6X memory. For comparison, the GeForce RTX 3080 has 10GB of GDDR6X and the flagship GeForce RTX 3090 has 24GB of GDDR6X memory.

AMD has just released their new Radeon Adrenalin 2020 21.3.1 BETA drivers, which not only include support for the new Navi 23-based Radeon RX 6700 XT graphics cards but there's a new built-in Performance Tuning Stress Test feature.

The new drivers also have support for the just-released DOOM Eternal: The Ancient Gods - Part Two, which will go well with that new Radeon RX 6700 XT (if you can find it). There are a bunch of fixed issued as there always is with new drivers, across the board between Radeon Software using too much CPU resources, to VR improvements, and everything in between.

It looks like Intel will be kicking off some of the marketing hype for its upcoming Xe-HPG gaming graphics card on March 26, with a teased Intel Xe HPG Scavenger Hunt.

Intel's upcoming Xe HPG Scavenger Hunt will reportedly kick off at March 26, 2021 @ 9AM PST -- with 'duckofdeath' on Wccftech noticing the cryptic message hidden inside of the Intel Xe-HPG teaser video. Hell, it takes place just 3 days after Intel's freshly-minted CE Pat Gelsinger hosts a webcast.

We should expect that more teases and clues will be revealed before, and during the Intel Xe HPG Scavenger Hunt, so I'm sure there will be much more to be revealed in the coming week before the Intel Xe HPG Scavenger Hunt begins

AMD has only just unleashed the Radeon RX 6700 XT and its new Navi 22 GPU with 12GB of GDDR6 memory, but now leaks are beginning on the new Navi 23 GPU with 8GB of GDDR6.

The new rumors are coming from leaker KittyYYuko (who used to be, or the leaker previously known as KittyCorgi) has posted up some specs on the purported Navi 23-based RDNA 2 offering. It will be for "premium 1080p gaming" just like the Navi 22-based Radeon RX 6700 XT is for premium 1440p gaming.

AMD's new Navi 22-based GPU would have 32 Compute Units (2048 Stream Processors), come in at around 236mm2, have 64MB of Infinity Cache (96MB on Radeon RX 6700 XT, 128MB on the Radeon RX 6800, RX 6800 XT, and RX 6900 XT graphics cards), while it will have 8GB of GDDR6 on a 128-bit memory bus clocked at the speedy 16Gbps bandwidth.

MSI has just silently launched two new custom GeForce RTX 30 series graphics cards, with the ninja introduction of the MSI GeForce RTX 3080 SUPRIM SE and MSI GeForce RTX 3070 SUPRIM SE graphics cards.

What's the difference between the newly-released SUPRIM SE and the previous SUPRIM X graphics cards from MSI? From a design perspective they seem virtually identical, meanwhile internally the GPU on both of these SUPRIM SE offerings are lower than the full-speed SUPRIM X beast.

MSI's previous GeForce RTX 3080 SUPRIM X graphics card had boost GPU clocks of between 1905-1920MHz on a 370W TDP with 3 x 8-pin PCIe power connectors. The new MSI GeForce RTX 3080 SUPRIM SE (no X) has 1815-1830MHz boost GPU clocks with the same 370W TDP and same 3 x 8-pin PCIe power connector.

AMD has finally confirmed that we will have RDNA 2-powered PC graphics cards with their NVIDIA DLSS competitor sometime this year, with FidelityFX Super Resolution or FSR.

During a recent chat with the lads at PC World, CVP & GM at AMD Radeon, Scott Herkelman, explained: "It's progressing very well internally in our lab, but it's our commitment to the gaming community that it needs to be open that it needs to work across all things and game developers need to adopt it. Even though it's progressing well, we still have more work to do and not only internally but with our game developer partners".

He continued: "We want to launch it this year. We believe we can do that this year, but at the same time we a lot more work ahead of us. We need to make sure the image quality is there. We need to make sure it can scale from different resolutions. And at the same time that our game developers are happy with what we are producing".

Intel's new Xe-HPG GPU has been spotted with their next-gen Alder Lake-S CPU, with the Xe-HPG teamed with a 16-core, 24-thread CPU that succeeds the just-revealed Rocket Lake-S 11th Gen Core CPUs.

The new Xe-HPG graphics card we're looking at is the GPU codenamed DG2-512EU, which in this form packs 512 Execution Units, with a maximum GPU clock of 1.8GHz and 12.6GB of RAM -- we should see DG2 launch with 16GB of RAM but this is just the VRAM count with other shared system resources.

Intel seems to be testing out its Xe-HPG graphics card with its next-gen Alder Lake-S processor, which features 16 cores and 24 threads... yes, not the traditional 8 cores and 16 threads or 16 cores and 32 threads (which it normally is). This CPU has a max clock of 4.6GHz, which will either be for the high-efficiency (small) cores or the high-performance (big) cores and I'm leaning (hoping) on the latter.

NVIDIA has just released their very latest GeForce Game Ready driver, which provides optimizations and enhancements for NVIDIA's kick ass Reflex technology in Overwatch... and so much more.

The main part of the new official drivers is that NVIDIA and Activision-Blizzard are enabling NVIDIA's in-house Reflex technology, which you can read more about here, being enabled in Overwatch with these new GeForce 461.92 drivers. If you've got a Reflex-capable GeForce GPU then you will get a radically smoother, more responsive gaming experience in Overwatch.

PowerColor has a major leak of AMD's unreleased Radeon RX 6700 XT graphics cards, with PowerColor's various family of Radeon RX 6700 XT graphics cards leaking early onto second hand markets in Chechia.

The new PowerColor Radeon RX 6700 XT HELLHOUND graphics card is available for sale, with countless PowerColor Radeon RX 6700 XT Red Devil and HELLHOUND graphics cards teased in the background of the photo posted online. The new Radeon RX 6700 XT is said to offer 50MH/s of mining performance (unknown crypto) at just 120W.

The seller of the PowerColor Radeon RX 6700 XT graphics cards says that the 50MH/s of mining performance @ 120W is better than NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 3060 Ti and RTX 3070 graphics cards. For the power consumption numbers alone, the Radeon RX 6700 XT is also a great card against the GeForce RTX 3080 and even GeForce RTX 3090 when it comes to crypto mining.

PowerColor is preparing its new Radeon RX 6700 XT HELLHOUND graphics card, with our first tease of the card and its new black-and-blue color scheme. Check it out:

The new black-and-blue color scheme looks nice, but it's very SAPPHIRE NITRO+ there, PowerColor. We have dual 8-pin PCIe power connectors, a thicker near triple-slot design and the Navi 22 GPU + 12GB of GDDR6 memory underneath. There's HDMI 2.1 connectivity here as well for 4K 120Hz gaming on the TV and next-gen monitors.

We don't know the GPU clocks on the PowerColor Radeon RX 6700 XT HELLHOUND just yet, but I can say with confidence that they'll fall within a few percentage points of the rest of the custom Radeon RX 6700 XT graphics cards. This is the very first custom Radeon RX 6700 XT from PowerColor as well, and we should expect a couple of more models at least.

We all know the pain of trying to find a graphics card right now, and while we thought AMD was rumored to not experience as much of a shortage with its new Radeon RX 6700 XT as it has with its Radeon RX 6800, Radeon RX 6800 XT, and Radeon RX 6900 XT cards -- it, very unfortunately, looks like that'll be the case.

Igor's Lab is reporting that there will only be a couple of Radeon RX 6700 XT cards for the entire of Germany, but there will just be a few thousand for the entire of the European Union (or EU). Igor explains: "If you condense the information of various board partners and distributors to a trend, then there are, depending on the manufacturer and model, only a few pieces (for Germany) to a few thousand for the EU as a whole".

But then there's the UK and Red Gaming Tech that reports that there should be 1000-2000 units of the AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT graphics cards made at launch -- and weekly afterwards. It looks like the UK will have many more cards than the entire of the EU, which is a bit of a shocker -- but I think we'll be finding the RX 6700 XT nigh impossible to buy at launch.

It was barely a month ago that Intel GPU boss Raja Koduri teased that he was benchmarking the gaming-focused Intel Xe-HPG graphics card, and now he's teasing it again.

Raja Koduri posted a picture to his Twitter account from the Folsom, California building at Intel -- testing the new Xe-HPG graphics card in some 3DMark benchmarks. You can see the CPU-looking device under Raja's arm, with its own heat sink and cooler -- connected to a PCIe riser and cable and then into a motherboard.

There are two power supplies, with one PSU plugged into the GPU evaluation board and another PSU powering the motherboard. I love the insider look that we're getting at Intel's return to the GPU market, this is something I've wanted to see more of -- I'd love to have livestreams from inside of the lab and fireside-style chats with Raja about GPUs.

NVIDIA has released a new GeForce 461.81 hotfix driver, which tweaks some issues in some games including Fortnite and Red Dead Redemption 2.

The new GeForce 461.81 Hotfix drivers sort some issues out with the GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER graphics card, Fortnite and Red Dead Redemption, Rocket League, and Detroit: Become Human. There's also some fixes for NVIDIA Surround with new 4K HDMI 2.1 TVs, and more.

AMD isn't too far away from the release of its mid-range Radeon RX 6700 XT graphics card and we've got some early crypto mining performance numbers to share.

NVIDIA might have tried to limit the hash rate power of the GeForce RTX 3060 as it was scared they'd be eaten up by crypto farms for crypto mining rigs and bitcoin mining rigs, but people are forgetting about AMD's new Radeon RX 6700 XT. An industry source of mine is claiming the new Radeon RX 6700 XT is achieving 40MH/s of ETH mining power, with wiggle room for overclocking.

If you consider that a GeForce RTX 3060 Ti is reaching around 50MH/s in stock form then that is pretty good... while the Radeon RX 6800, Radeon RX 6800 XT and Radeon RX 6900 XT all reach around 60MH/s of ETH mining power. It'll be interesting to see how the power tuning and overclocking on the Radeon RX 6700 XT will fair.

MSI has just very quietly introduced two new custom GeForce RTX 3080 graphics cards, with the new MSI GeForce RTX 3080 GAMING Z TRIO and MSI GeForce RTX 3080 GAMING TRIO PLUS variants.

The new MSI GeForce RTX 3080 GAMING Z TRIO is now the new flagship GeForce RTX 3080 graphics card from MSI in their GAMING range (not the SUPRIM range) with its GPU boosted up by another 15MHz over the MSI GeForce RTX 3080 GAMING X TRIO -- now sitting at a factory overclocked 1830MHz. It'll be interesting to see if manually overclocking the GAMING Z TRIO against the GAMING X TRIO is any different.

MSI has also added some subtle venting on the backplate of the card, and it's also thinner and lighter than the MSI RTX 3080 GAMING X TRIO. That's welcomed and all, but unless properly explained on the box it will go unnoticed -- and who knows if there will be review samples of this (email has been fired off already).

We've seen a GeForce RTX 3070 modded from 8GB to 16GB and even a GeForce RTX 3090 modded to work on an M.2 slot inside of a laptop -- but now a GeForce RTX 3070 has been modded with 16GB of VRAM and it works.

Russian modder VIK-on is behind the mod once again, with a video that shows how he upgraded his NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 from its stock 8GB of GDDR6 memory up to a much better 16GB of GDDR6 memory and it works without a problem. VIK-on used the custom Palit GamingPro GeForce RTX 3070 graphics card for this mod.

He replaced the 1GB GDDR6 modules (K4Z803256C-HC14) that are made with Samsung with 2GB GDDR6 (K4ZAF3258M-HC14) also from Samsung, doubling the 8GB of GDDR6 on the GeForce RTX 3070 up to 16GB. Pretty awesome stuff right there.

It looks like AMD is working on RDNA-based cryptocurrency mining cards, with new information coming through Linux kernel patches with a new Navi 12-based GPU for crypto mining.

The new GPU does not support DCN (Display Core Next) and VCN (Video Core Next) that would see the new Navi 12 GPU without the ability of display output. The headless GPU would be the perfect compute acceleration card for working in clusters of GPUs, or in crypto mining farms.

It was back in October 2020 when the first tease of AMD working on a blockchain GPU first started, but that was with a Navi 10 part -- this is a new Navi 12 GPU. The Navi 12 GPU was only made for Apple and its Mac with the Radeon Pro 5600M, which had HBM2 memory. It would be interesting to see the Navi 12 with HBM2 memory as the Navi 10 chip has GDDR6.

The entire PC hardware and gaming market exploded in 2020 with the pandemic, with millions more people at home many gamers were upgrading and tweaking their machines like never before. NVIDIA launched new graphics cards, AMD launched new graphics cards that were actually kick ass enthusiast entries for the first time in ages.

But the issue is, you just can't buy Radeon RX 6000 series graphics cards right now. If you thought buying an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 series card was hard, Big Navi is a Big Hassle to find worldwide.

The reason? AMD's entire 7nm silicon allotment from TSMC (Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company) would be pushed into their semi-custom SoCs for Sony and the PlayStation 5, as well as Microsoft with the Xbox Series X/S consoles. Not only that, but AMD is using that 7nm silicon for its Zen 3 processors, Zen 3, EPYC, Threadripper, and everything in between.

NVIDIA hasn't made its GeForce RTX 3050 Ti mobility GPU official just yet, but ASUS may have just accidentally spoiled the RTX 3050 Ti reveal party with its upcoming TUF Dash F15 gaming laptop.

The new ASUS TUF Dash F15 gaming laptop will be powered by Intel's new Tiger Lake-H (35W) processors and will be customizable with up to NVIDIA's beefier GeForce RTX 3070 mobility GPU. But in the spec page for teh new ASUS laptop was the entry-level version with the GeForce RTX 3050 Ti mobility GPU.

NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 3050 Ti mobility GPU has 4GB of GDDR6 on what should be a 128-bit memory interface, and should be a little faster than the GeForce RTX 2060 desktop graphics card. The interesting thing here is that you'll get RTX ray tracing features on an entry-level GeForce RTX 3050 Ti where previously we would've seen the RTX 3060 being the lowest in the RTX rung and could've had a GTX 1050 Ti without the RTX abilities.
