Microsoft uses a 360-degree hinge system that sees the dual 5.6-inch displays either being used on their own, or together.

Google Pixel 4a: priced at just $349, it's the new budget champion
Google announced 3 new Pixel smartphones today, but only one of them was unveiled in full: the new Pixel 4a.
The new Google Pixel 4a smartphone shows that the company is serious about dominating the budget smartphone market, pricing the Pixel 4a at just $349. Google had everyone happy with the $399 pricing on the Pixel 3a, but the Pixel 4a is an even better phone at an even better price.
Pixel 4a is powered by a lesser-powered Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G SoC, compared to the Pixel 3a and its higher-end Snapdragon 855. We do have the same great 12-megapixel camera experience, as well as the same RAM and storage capacity as the Pixel 3a.

ASUS unleashed its new ROG Phone 3 gaming phone a few days ago, but before it's even in the hands of gamers across the world, an exciting hidden super-high-end 160Hz refresh option has been discovered.
The hidden 160Hz screen option can be used by anyone that purchases an ASUS ROG Phone 3 gaming phone, where you can activate it with a single ADB command. The 160Hz screen option was discovered by XDA when searching through the settings app.
A debug command was found that enabled 160Hz refresh, with the 'adb shell setprop debug.vendor.asus.fps.eng 1' command. Once this is entered, there's a new 160Hz refresh option in the Settings > Display > Refresh Rate.

This is our best look at the Galaxy Z Fold 2 foldable smartphone
We are getting closer and closer to Samsung's huge Unpacked 2020 event, where we will be treated to the virtual announcements of the Galaxy Note 20 seires of phones, as well as the new Galaxy Z Fold 2.
Samsung's new Galaxy Z Fold 2 and its story is slowly unfolding, where we thought it would be called the Galaxy Fold 2 -- successor to the current foldable Galaxy Fold smartphone. But it seems Samsung is re-branding it to the Galaxy Z Fold 2, which we have some final renders through fresh leaks.
The leak isn't exactly clear, but it seems to retain most of the design of the original Galaxy Fold -- but you'll notice that it has an upgraded camera system, and similar to the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra smartphone.

Samsung's new Galaxy Fold 2 could instead be called Galaxy Z Fold 2
Samsung is expected to unveil its successor to the Galaxy Fold smartphone at its Unpacked 2020 event on August 5, where we should also be introduced to the new Galaxy Note 20 smartphones.
But when it comes to the Galaxy Fold successor most people thought it would be called the Galaxy Fold 2, but now we're seeing new reports of the 'Galaxy Z Fold 2' -- which seems to be a re-brand of the Galaxy Fold. Remember that Samsung has two foldable phones right now: the Galaxy Fold as its flagship foldable, while there's the cheaper, and clamshell-style Galaxy Z Flip.
The new reports suggest that Samsung's purported Galaxy Z Fold 2 will feature a 7.7-inch Youm On-Cell Touch AMOLED (Y-OCTA) display with a super-slick 120Hz display. Samsung will also reportedly be using the same Ultra-Thin glass that it did on the Galaxy Z Flip smartphone.

Check out the ASUS ROG Phone 3 gaming smartphone, it looks mean AF
ASUS is set to unleash its next-gen ROG Phone 3 gaming smartphone, with the new ROG Phone 3 passing through Taiwanese certification -- and now, some leaked renders for us to gander at.
As you can see in these renders, ASUS should be going for its meanest-looking ROG Phone yet with the ROG Phone 3. It looks like we're going to get some gaming triggers on the ROG Phone 3, as well as a unique side-mounted charging port.
The side-mounted charging port has two benefits: first, you can charge your phone while you're gaming -- and secondly, it can be used to plug gaming accessories from ASUS into.

These new Pixel 5 XL renders see Google rocking 3.5mm headphone jack
Google isn't far away from unveiling its new Pixel 5 and Pixel 5 XL smartphones, so new renders aren't a surprise before its big launch in the coming months.
The leaks tease that the Pixel 5 and Pixel 5 XL don't look that different, with the Pixel 5 XL just being a "bigger" and probably beefier (battery, RAM possibly) version of the Pixel 5. This isn't a surprise, but the renders including a 3.5mm headphone jack is.
The new Pixel 5 and Pixel 5 XL renders have 3.5mm headphone jacks at the top, which would be a big surprise from Google. Inside, we should see the Pixel 5 using Qualcomm's more mid-range Snapdragon 765 while the higher-end Pixel 5 XL would be powered by the Snapdragon 865.

If you've been waiting the new Galaxy Note 20 smartphone, then you won't have much longer to wait with Samsung officially announcing that Galaxy Unpacked 2020 will happen on August 5, virtually.
The huge event should see Samsung announce a bunch of new hardware, which should include the introduction of the new Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, the rumored Galaxy Z Fold 2, a 5G-capable Galaxy Z Flip, the Galaxy Watch 3, and more.
Because of the COVID-19 pandemic still wrecking havoc on this timeline, Samsung will host its Galaxy Unpacked 2020 event live on its own website. You will be able to tune into Galaxy Unpacked 2020 right here.

ASUS ROG Phone 3 teased: overclocked Snapdragon 865, huge 16GB of RAM
ASUS is always pushing the boundaries of what is possible inside of a gaming smartphone, so the next-gen ROG Phone 3 should be no different -- right? Yep.
According to new leaks on the upcoming ASUS ROG Phone 3 we should expect Qualcomm's Snapdragon 865 to power it, but an overclocked SoC that will see the SoC clocked at a huge 3.09GHz -- up from the already fast 2.84GHz. It should be joined by a huge 16GB of RAM (!!!) and 512GB of storage.
As for the display, ASUS is tipped to use a 6.59-inch AMOLED display that should be FHD+, and I would be disappointed to see anything less than a 120Hz refresh rate. Even all of this, there's not much difference between the ROG Phone 2 and ROG Phone 3 -- but there will be small changes under the hood that give this iteration a nice boost of its predecessor.

iPhones and iPads stolen during looting are worthless, here's why
Since the killing of George Floyd, protests have sparked across the United States against racial inequality. Unfortunately, some people are taking these protests as an opportunity to raid retail stores and steal goods.
One of the many stores that are being raided by these opportunists is Apple retail stores, as many of these people believe they can resell the stolen goods online. Unfortunately for these raiders and fortunately for Apple, the stolen goods are worth next to nothing. This is because Apple has implemented a "kill switch" for any device that is stolen. Here's how it works via Forbes:
"It has long been known that Apple operates some form of proximity software that disables a device when it is taken illegally from a store. Until now, though, little had been seen of that technology in action. Well, thanks to social media, we can now see the message that greets a looter powering up their new device: "This device has been disabled and is being tracked," it says. "Local authorities will be alerted."

Check out Samsung's new Galaxy S20 Tactical Edition, made for military
Samsung has just announced a new version of its popular Galaxy S20 smartphone, something that has been made exclusively for the US military and federal government.
The new Samsung Galaxy S20 Tactical Edition might sound like an unlock in Call of Duty, but it's a new smartphone that meets the needs of the US military and federal government. How so? It has two layers of encryption that are near impenetrable, so much so that the Galaxy S20 Tactical Edition can house top secret data, and connect to tactical radios and mission systems -- all out of the box.
Samsung is including some nifty combat-related ease-of-use in the Galaxy S20 Tactical Edition, where one particular mode lets you turn the display on and off if you're wearing night vision goggles. Another mode is more stealth, disabling LTE and turning off all RF broadcasts that would make sure no one can listen in on your comms.

Google Pixel 4a leak claims pricing could start at $349
The mid-range smartphone wars have been raging for years, but things flared up when Apple launched its new 2020 iPhone SE at $399. It wasn't just the price that was so impressive about the iPhone SE. It was that at $399, the device has one of the fastest smartphone processors out there under the hood. A new rumor has turned up about another contender that's aiming to knock the new iPhone SE off its perch and take over as the king of the mid-range smartphone market.
The rumor claims that the Google Pixel 4a will launch with a price tag of $349 for the base 128 GB model. That would make the smartphone $50 cheaper than the iPhone SE while offering twice as much storage. While it remains to be seen, it would be unlikely the Google Pixel 4a will offer a processor that can compete in performance against the iPhone SE.
Other rumors have suggested that the 4a will have a primary camera with 12-megapixel resolution, the same camera used in the Pixel 4 and the Pixel 3a. Recently, a leak from a case manufacturer showed what is believed to be the final design for the Pixel 4a.

OnePlus 8 Pro has secret x-ray vision that sees through plastic
Anyone who's ever read a Superman comic book has wanted some of Superman's powers. The ability to fly and super strength are probably the most common desires, but x-ray vision that can see through anything but lead would be pretty cool. While you will never get Superman powers, if you purchase a OnePlus 8 Pro, there is a special camera feature that few people know about that has an x-ray vision of sorts.
The OnePlus 8 Pro's 5-megapixel rear color filter camera can see through certain kinds of plastic. If users activate the Photochrom mode in the camera app, the camera can be aimed at a keyboard or other electronic device, and it's able to see through the plastic to the electronics inside.
The special feature won't work on any devices that have IR shielding, including things like set-top boxes or remote controls. It also won't work on clothing, so no one has to worry about the creep in the cubicle next door peeping on them. The secret feature came to the surface in a tweet from Ben Geskin, which can be seen below.
