Respawn are doing an absolutely fantastic job with teasing their new champions in Apex Legends, and now thanks to some players we have found another one.

Heading over to the Apex Legends subreddit, FrozenFroh has posted a video of him finding an entrance to a secret room in the Singh Labs. Players who want to also find Crypto in-game will have to go to the Singh Labs and pry open one of the half-opened doors and enter the room.

You will find Crypto manically inputting hacking code software into one of his computers, but once you spot him he spots you and bolts off, grabbing his trusty hard drive on the way out. FrozenFroh was also responsible for locating Crypto's laptop that was secretly hidden on the Kings Canyon map. If you notice, before Crypto shuts down what he is working on you can see that he is attempting to redirect the void portal to a place called 'World's Edge.'

It was awhile back that we caught wind of the next Total War game to be taking the Trojan War setting, and while that was a mere rumor back then the news has now been confirmed.

The news has come from both Creative Assembly via a teaser announcement and also a Redditor who spotted a PCGamer magazine with the games official announcement on the cover. Starting off with the Redditor, in the entirety of this article you will find the image which shows a world exclusive for "Troy A Total War Saga".

Players will be battling in a "world of gods and monsters" which can only been that the Olympians and their plethora of mythological monsters and beasts will be present within the title. We can expect that likes of Zeus, Poseidon and Hades, as well as monsters such as minotaur, centaur and medusa. Creative Assembly took to their official Total War Twitter page to post the above teaser, tune into their livestream where they will no doubt officially announce the title.

Samsung has just unveiled its new PCIe 4.0-based SSDs with some truly insane brute speed, where they are close to invicible and will never die.

First off, the new Samsung SSDs won't be finding their way into your gaming PC at home and rather enterprise/server markets. The new PM1733 and PM1735 (at least for now) are going to be a family of new SSDs with 19 new models on the way.

Samsung will offer them in various form factors and capacities, with PCIe add-in cards and 2.5-inch U.2 drives with capacities between 800GB and 30.72TB. The new SSDs tap PCIe 4.0 for some crazy speeds, offering sequential writes of up to 3.8GB/sec -- but the reads can top 6.4GB/sec and for its add-in card model it'll reach the dizzying heights of 8GB/sec.

Oppo has some totally mind-blowing new smartphone charging technology with its new 65W SuperVOOC Fast Charge 2.0 unveiled, as well as its new 30W Wireless VOOC Flash Charge and VOOC Flash Charge 4.0 tech unveiled at the same time.

Activision and Infinity Ward have unleashed the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare open beta for the PC, with pre-loads now beginning through the Blizzard app.

Anyone who has pre-ordered the game will be able to play the game in the following hours, while the open beta officially kicks off on September 21. Activision has also announced the official PC requirements for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, which has some modest requirements (at least for the non-RTX version of the game).

At a minimum, you'll need 8GB of RAM and 45GB of HDD -- joined by an Intel Core i5-2500K or "AMD equivalent" processor. Activision is recommending a higher-end Core i7-4770K (or AMD equivalent processor).

I still have the fondest memories of Goldeneye 007 on the Nintendo 64, so seeing it in an Unreal Engine 4-powered fan remake is bringing a tear to my eye.

The new Goldeneye 25 remake is wanting to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Goldeneye 007 and its release back in 1997 on the Nintendo 64 of a release window of 2022, with some fans using Epic Games' versatile (and good-looking) Unreal Engine 4 to do it.

Nintendo hasn't gone after the team and stopped their development, which partly comes from them using their own custom assets and using nothing from the N64 release. We don't know if it'll ever even materialize, but for now you can check out a bunch of screenshots from the remake-in-progress.

Ubisoft held a private beta earlier this month for those who pre-ordered Ghost Recon Breakpoint, or are subscribed to Uplay+ but now the developer has announced a new open beta for the game with some special guests.

Normally I despise celebrity-filled gaming trailers but this is such an incredibly funny one, featuring Lil Wayne and even Snoop Dogg at the end ramping up the hype of Ghost Recon Breakpoint for the open beta that kicks off on September 24.

Ubisoft will include its Ghost War PvP mode, 3 new missions, and 2 additional regions to the previous closed beta of Ghost Recon Breakpoint. The beta itself begins on September 24 at 11AM BST / 3AM PT on Uplay, while it'll st art at 4PM BST / 8AM PT on the Epic Games Store.

Overwatch's new Bastion Brick Challenge event has already kicked off and runs through until September 30, where you can win a bunch of themed gear in quick play, arcade, and competitive modes.

Activision-Blizzard have teamed with The Lego Group on some other cosmetics for the event, including Lego versions of Genji, Hanzo, Pharah, and Tracer. There will be a bunch of icons, sprays and a legendary skin up for grabs -- and bonus sprays if you watch streamers playing Overwatch on Twitch.

Facebook was slammed for its sloppiness in handling the Christchurch mass shooting, with the social network reacting with news that it will use police body cam footage to train its AI to recognize gun attack videos.

The UK's Metropolitan Police will supply its body cam footage to Facebook for its firearms training exercises, with the social networking giant using the video to train its content moderation programs to "rapidly identify real-life first person shooter incidents and remove them from our platform".

Facebook is also talking to US police departments about acquiring their police body cam footage for similar use with AI.

Death Stranding's multiplayer features shared worlds and lets players leave gear, pinpoint areas of interest, and even build fortifications in the world.

Death Stranding is built around one singular concept: to bring people together by building connections. Now we have a better understanding on how this will happen. The game features a different kind multiplayer, one that doesn't actually let you play with other people. But you still work together in other indirect co-operative and communal ways.

In the game's so-called Social Strand System, players can leave behind gear, boxes, and even motorcyles for others throughout the world, as well as build areas like bridges and fortify safe houses for the benefit of strangers. It's kind of like Minecraft in that way, but more thoughtful and beneficial to everyone involved.

Apple's new Apple Arcade all-you-can-play games subscription service won't have microtransaction-riddled games.

Apple Arcade, Apple's new games service for mobile, Mac, and Apple TV, is a breath of fresh air in the games industry. Practically every mobile game these days have strong monetization methods, especially if they're free to play. Hell, even full-priced AAA games have them. But Apple Arcade is different. All of the planned 100+ games on the $4.99 a month service are full experiences that can be played across a myriad of devices, all without microtransactions.

Apple's new service could disrupt the billion-dollar mobile gaming market. The trade-off is not actually owning the games themselves and trading off microtransactions and full game purchases for a recurring $5 a month, $60 a year subscription. The real disruption comes in how the games are made, though, especially if they're not built around microtransactions. And there's cross-saves too.

Call of Duty's mobile game will release on October 1, 2019 on Android and iOS, Activision today announced.

Call of Duty mobile could be absolutely huge for partners Activision and Tencent. The game is a fully-fledged first-person shooter complete with a variety of multiplayer modes like Domination, Search & Destroy, and Frontline, and fan-favorite maps like Nuketown. It's a mashup of both Black Ops and Modern Warfare, featuring guns, maps, and characters straight out of both games, and also features a chaotic 100-player battle royale gametype complete with land, sea, and air vehicles.

Developed by Tencent's Timi Studio, Call of Duty mobile aims to bring the full FPS thrill on-the-go. There's multiple operators to choose from, each of which can support five loadouts with primary and secondary weapons, specific roles, a skill, extra tactical gear, and three perks.

Borderlands 3 might be overheating Xbox One consoles, or at least triggering an erroneous overheating message.

First Borderlands 3 players had their saves deleted or corrupted on PC, now Xbox gamers are reporting hardware issues while playing the game. Multiple Redditors say their consoles are turning off during specific cutscenes, and the systems are showing overheating error messages upon reboot.

"After beating Shiv and moving on to the next area, my Xbox is doing something similar. I play on the X and when you get into the next cutscene, right as the camera pans up with the guy scratching his ass, my Xbox completely powers off. Exact same frame every time. And when I turn it back on it tells me it overheated which is not the case.

Valve is cracking down hard on bad behavior in Dota 2, banning players until the year 2038.

Consistently abusive Dota 2 players can face a huge 19 year ban on their favorite MOBA. Valve is dishing out bans with the maximum penalty possible to punish foul-mouthed and toxic gamers in an attempt to purge Dota 2's community. The news was outlined in a recent Dota 2 blog post and promises to exile players with "exceptionally low behavior scores." Valve will also ban you for buying Steam accounts, too.

The post further details potential role-specific bans for gamers who queue up and don't play their role. Gamers can now report others for abusing their roles, and Valve will collect this info and take action when needed.

BioWare doesn't seem confident in Anthem's long-term future, strongly hinting it's lifecycle is winding down.

Anthem needs to die out, and live games are laid to rest in two ways: thrashing, grueling deaths that are abrupt, or slow wind-downs where content is stretched thinner and thinner before it finally stops and the game is retired. Now it appears BioWare is starting the latter option with Anthem.

In a recent blog update, BioWare confirmed two things: They don't know where Anthem's future lays, and they're no longer following the original free expansion roadmap. The developer doesn't seem to have confidence in Anthem's long-term future, which could be a good thing altogether.

Bill Murray might reprise his role as Dr. Peter Venkman in Ghostbusters 3, but nothing's been set in stone yet.

A new Ghostbusters is in the works, and it's being directed by Jason Reitman, the son of original Ghostbusters movie director Ivan Reitman. Due out in 2020, Reitman senior recently revealed new details on the sequel and confirmed it's a story about family and the passing of the torch onto a younger generation. Old stars like Dan Aykroyd and Ernie Hudson are set to return alongside other familiar faces...but what about Bill Murray?

"It's going to be Ghostbusters the third movie. It'll be most of the original people, some from the original movie. We're hoping Bill Murray's going to be in it. And the new cast as well," Aykroyd said on a recent Joe Rogan Experience podcast.

Amazon has taken one out of Jackson's book and will be using same location to film their upcoming Lord of the Rings (LOTR) TV show.

Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings trilogy is acknowledged as a masterpiece of cinema, and a massive part of that is the sets that were used to shoot the film. According to an announcement from Amazon, the filming for their LOTR TV show will take place in Auckland, New Zealand. While details of the specific locations were left out of the announcement, we do know that the filming sets will depict that of Tolkien's Second Age.

And we're happy that we are now able to officially confirm New Zealand as our home for our series based on stories from J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings".

In this day and age, leaks from big name companies happen all the time and in several different formats. Unfortunately, a leak happened for the Joker movie, but the director has said that he actually doesn't mind.

Todd Phillips, the director of the Joker movie starring Joaquin Phoenix has spoke out about the leaked transcript for his movie, saying to GameSpot "I don't care that you read it--I like that it's out there." He also said to GameSpot that he enjoys the idea that people are even interested in his work enough to read the leaked script and that the script people are reading is actually six months old.

"The leaked script got leaked six months after we started writing, six months before we started shooting", said Phillips. "Somebody else asked me about it, and I go, 'I like that it's out there. Throw 'em off. Go that way.' Literally, that script that went out was an April draft. We started shooting the movie in September. That's six months of writing--that's half the writing process." It seems that Phillips already knows that whatever is in the leaked script won't spoil or ruin the movie since its already in cinemas.

Nintendo's Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has received a blessing of honors at the Japan Game Awards 2019, distinguishing it extensively from the rest of the titles that were honored.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate was awarded the 'Grand Award' seperating itself from the Excellence Awards that were given to the following titles: Detroit: Become Human, Marvel's Spiderman, Judgment, Dragon Quest Builders 2, Resident Evil 2 Remake, Apex Legends, Devil May Cry V, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.

Not only was Super Smash Bros. Ultimate awarded the 'Grand Award', but it was also given the 'Best Sales Award' and 'Global Award' for a Japanese product. If you were wondering how many units Smash Bros. Ultimate has moved, its currently pushing 14.73 million units since last December.

Riot Games will be celebrating their ten year anniversary of League of Legends with a new logo change, livestream, teases for the games future and much more.

Riot Games has taken to their official website to announce that League of Legends fans can join them on October 116th to celebrate 10 years of League of Legends. The event will be 10th Anniversary Edition of Riot Pls and will kick off with a livestream that will share some glimpses of what League of Legends will be like in the future, Riot's favorite League of Legends moments, preseason changes and more.

In addition to teasing players for the October 16 livestream, Riot has also mentioned how even though League of Legends is 10 years old it still holds the record for the biggest PC game in the world. According to the website post, "about 8 million peak concurrent players in League" making it "even bigger than the top ten games on Steam combined." The company also mentions that they have "modernized" the League of Legends logo which you can see above.
