Activision and Infinity Ward have unleashed the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare open beta for the PC, with pre-loads now beginning through the Blizzard app.
Anyone who has pre-ordered the game will be able to play the game in the following hours, while the open beta officially kicks off on September 21. Activision has also announced the official PC requirements for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, which has some modest requirements (at least for the non-RTX version of the game).
At a minimum, you'll need 8GB of RAM and 45GB of HDD -- joined by an Intel Core i5-2500K or "AMD equivalent" processor. Activision is recommending a higher-end Core i7-4770K (or AMD equivalent processor).
GPU requirements aren't too bad, with the minimum PC system specs requiring an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670 or AMD Radeon HD 7950 while the recommended requirements bumps that up to the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 or AMD Radeon R9 390/RX 580.
