Nintendo's Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has received a blessing of honors at the Japan Game Awards 2019, distinguishing it extensively from the rest of the titles that were honored.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate was awarded the 'Grand Award' seperating itself from the Excellence Awards that were given to the following titles: Detroit: Become Human, Marvel's Spiderman, Judgment, Dragon Quest Builders 2, Resident Evil 2 Remake, Apex Legends, Devil May Cry V, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.
Not only was Super Smash Bros. Ultimate awarded the 'Grand Award', but it was also given the 'Best Sales Award' and 'Global Award' for a Japanese product. If you were wondering how many units Smash Bros. Ultimate has moved, its currently pushing 14.73 million units since last December.
