The new CAMM modules are up to 57% thinner than regular SO-DIMM memory that goes into laptops and mini-PCs, with dual-sided CAMM memory capable of pushing 128GB of DDR5 memory... insanity... perfect for super-fast portable workstation laptops.

This means that instead of using 4 x 32GB DDR5 memory modules into a laptop, Dell can configure its latest Precision 2022 series laptops with a 128GB DDR5 CAMM module instead. Microsoft expects gaming to drop in Q4 and break Xbox's quarterly growth streak.

Xbox is currently dominating the market. Microsoft took over market share in key territories through January - March 2022. Console revenues are up 14% due to a supply surge, and Xbox Series X/S were the best-selling consoles in March 2022. Xbox just delivered another record-breaking quarter with $3.74 billion in Q3, which was the highest Q3 period in Xbox gaming history. Xbox has actually made record revenues for three straight consecutive quarters in a row.

Q4 2022 is a different story. Microsoft expects Xbox gaming revenues to drop as much as 9% through the quarter from April - June 2022, breaking the three-month growth streak.

SEGA plans to delist all existing digital versions of classic Sonic games ahead of its new Sonic Origins remaster collection.

Sonic Origins will soon be the only way to buy old-school Sonic games on modern hardware. According to Games Press, SEGA is removing existing standalone digital versions of Sonic, Sonic 2, Sonic 3, Sonic & Knuckles, and Sonic CD from all platforms. Anyone who currently owns these games will still be able to download and play the games, but new users won't be able to buy them.

The games will still be accessible on SEGA Ages and any games released on the Nintendo Switch Online+ Expansion Pak will still be playable.

Activision's latest financials show a significant decrease in active players. According to the company's financials and data compiled by us, Activision-Blizzard had 372 million monthly active users (MAUs) in Q1 2022, down a whopping 63 million users from Q1 2021.

Iron Gate's Nordic survival sensation Valheim has sold over 10 million copies in little over a year, new data shows. This is a nice 2 million bump in sales from August 2021's figures, which pinpointed 8 million sales.

The milestone puts Valheim firmly in the top echelon of indie games like Stardew Valley (15 million), Rust (12.4 million), and Fall Guys (11 million). Valheim is even hitting AAA numbers, beating out big games like Final Fantasy XV (8.9 million) and brushing shoulders with Resident Evil 7 (10.6 million).

CD Projekt has adjusted the sales figures for Cyberpunk 2077 on all platforms.

Cyberpunk 2077's platform split has been revised following new data from CD Projekt RED. The company previously released figures suggesting that PC game sales were much higher than PS4 and Xbox One, but those numbers were erroneous. A new report filed by CD Projekt reveals updated data.

The numbers are estimated sell-through on PC, PS4, and Xbox One corresponding with 2020 and 2021. Cyberpunk 2077 has sold 18 million+ copies to date, with 13.7 million sold in 2020 and 4.3 million sold in 2021.

Nintendo and Illumination have delayed the new Super Mario Bros. film from Holiday 2022 to Spring 2023.

Nintendo's new Super Mario Bros. movie, currently in production at Illumination Entertainment (Minions, Despicable Me), was originally supposed to launch late this year. Now both Nintendo and Illumination have announced the star-studded adaptation is being pushed back by a full quarter. Sonic The Hedgehog's $145.8 million success may have had something to do with the delay.

"After consulting with Chris-san, my partner at Illumination on the Super Mario Bros. film, we decided to move the global release to Spring 2023-April 28 in Japan and April 7 in North America. My deepest apologies but I promise it will be well worth the wait," Nintendo's Shigeru Miyamoto said in an announcement.

Ubisoft officially confirms it's working on Project Q, a wacky battle arena shooter coming to the free-to-play market.

Ubisoft's latest game Project Q was recently leaked by NDA-bound playtesters and inside info from Tom Henderson, and now Ubisoft has made the news official.

"Introducing codename "Project Q", a team battle arena letting players truly own the experience! The game is in early development and we will keep testing," Ubisoft said in a Tweet announcement that prompted players to sign up to playtest.

Sony has established a new game preservation team that will help support and sustain video game projects.

Sony's latest engineering group is future-proofing current PlayStation games to ensure they stand the test of time. The news comes from Garrett Fredley, a software engineer who recently became part of Sony's preservation upstart.

"Today is my first day as a Senior Build Engineer for PlayStation, working as one of their initial hires for the newly created Preservation team! Let's go and ensure our industry's history isn't forgotten!" Fredley wrote on LinkedIn.

A YouTuber that goes by the Trevor Jacob filmed himself crashing his own plane over California's Los Padres national forest and has now lost his pilot license.

Jacob filmed himself flying over California's Los Padres national forest in a small plane that was equipped with several camera angles. In the video, Jacob can be heard saying, "I'm over the mountains and I ... have an engine out," and then he can be seen abandoning his plane, jumping out, and filming himself parachuting towards the ground. The video was uploaded on December 24, 2021, and sparked an investigation by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) on April 11, 2022.

The investigation has concluded that the crash of Jacob's 1940 Taylorcraft BL-65 was intentional and that Jacob "demonstrated a lack of care, judgment, and responsibility by choosing to jump out of an aircraft solely so you could record the footage of the crash."

As soon as the news of Twitter officially being acquired by Musk, the price of the Tesla CEO's favorite cryptocurrency, Dogecoin, began to increase steadily, and over the course of 24 hours, it rose by 30%.

Dogecoin has been a long favorite of Elon Musk's cryptocurrency coins, with it being one of the three cryptocurrency coins that Musk says he holds. The other two are Bitcoin and Ethereum. On March 14, 2022, Musk wrote on Twitter that he still owns his Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Dogecoin and that he won't be selling it anytime soon.

The stunt was in the making for over ten years and was set to be undertaken by pilots Luke Aikins and Andy Farrington.

The two pilots planned to take their respective Cessna 182 aircraft to an altitude of 14,000 feet (4,267 meters) before going into a nosedive, intending to leave their aircraft then and hop in the other. Each Cessna was equipped with a custom airbrake to allow the aircraft to descend at a steady speed of 225 kilometers per hour (140 miles per hour).

The stunt attempt was initiated from an undisclosed location in Arizona at around 5:45 pm local time. The pilots began their nosedive about an hour into the flight, jumping out of their respective planes after engaging the airbrakes at approximately 12,100 feet (3688 meters).

Japanese exoskeleton developer Skeletonics has shown off a new exoskeleton kitted out with boxing gear while its operator shadow boxes.

The exoskeleton borrows similar design attributes from previous models offered by Skeletonics. However, in this model, the individually articulating fingers of the Skeletonics Arrive model are absent in favor of boxing glove replicas. As with the Skeletonics Arrive, the exoskeleton is powered exclusively by the operator's strength and replicates their movements directly via mechanical linkages.

The Skeletonics Arrive is currently listened on the company website as the prominent offering and is the fifth of its exoskeletons. In the Arrive, the upper and lower body became connected, and suiting up with it takes only a minute. It stands 9 feet 2 inches (279.4 centimeters) tall, weighs 88 pounds (39.9 kilograms), and is powered mechanically with mechatronics used to operate the fingers.

A crucial component for SpaceX's upcoming Starship rocket appears to be damaged in a recently circulating image.

The prototype part is a component from the Booster 7 rocket booster for Starship and is responsible for transferring propellant to the vehicle's engines. SpaceX conducted pneumatic tests for Booster 7 earlier this month, in which the vehicle was fully pressurized to ensure it performs according to the required specifications.

The downcomer seems to have imploded during the pressure test, meaning Booster 7 could be scrapped in favor of Booster 8 if the part cannot be removed and replaced. It is unclear how much the damaged part will impact the timeline for Starship's upcoming orbital test flight.

Zoom Video Communications Inc. has been made to pay users a settlement and implement changes to its business due to a class-action lawsuit.

The class-action lawsuit involved multiple instances of "Zoombombing," where outsiders interrupted Zoom meetings, and other privacy concerns leveled against Zoom. In one example, outsiders streamed pornography during a Bible study class on the platform held by Saint Paulus Lutheran Church in San Francisco, and a Sunday service by Oak Life Church in Oakland was subjected to similar material.

Plaintiffs in the case alleged that data was improperly shared by Zoom to Facebook, Google, and other third parties. They also said Zoom claimed to have end-to-end encryption when it didn't and that Zoom failed to prevent disruptive Zoombombings.

The United States has already included similar drones in its previous arms packages for Ukraine.

Part of The White House's $800 million weapons package announced by U.S. President Joe Biden on April 21st contains the new suicide drone known as the Phoenix Ghost. Over 120 Phoenix Ghost Tactical Unmanned Aerial Systems are included in the package, according to Pentagon press secretary John Kirby during a press conference.

The U.S. Air Force has reportedly been working on the drone since before Russia invaded Ukraine earlier this year. The Phoenix Ghost is similar to the Switchblade drone, a one-way attack drone that the U.S. has already shipped 400 of to Ukraine. The Phoenix Ghost was created by Aevex Aerospace and the U.S. Air Force, but both parties have refused to comment on the details of the drone.

A small solar eclipse will nearly blot out the Sun this week as NASA confirms that multiple locations around the world will be able to witness the first solar eclipse of 2022.

According to NASA's database, the first solar eclipse of 2022 will be a partial solar eclipse that occurs on April 30 at 2:45 p.m. EST. A solar eclipse is a phenomenon that happens when the moon passes in between the Earth and the Sun, causing the moon's shadow to be cast on the Earth as the Sun is positioned behind it.

April 30's solar eclipse will be a partial solar eclipse, which means only a portion of the Sun will be covered by the body of the moon. NASA estimates that 65% of the Sun will be blacked out during the maximum of the eclipse. Furthermore, witnessing this coming event won't be possible for residents in the United Kingdom, United States, as it will only be visible over parts of Antarctica, South America, the Pacific, and the Atlantic Ocean.
