I am a massive fan of destruction physics in games, riding the wave from the 90s of Red Faction (how good were those destruction physics for the 90s) through to DICE and multiple Battlefield games with kick ass destruction.

All of those games pale in comparison to this demo, from developer Dennis Gustafsson. I stumbled up on the video, with Gustafsson running the game on an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070, and a quad-core CPU with it hitting that liquid-smooth 60FPS mark.

It shows off what I will claim here, as the best destruction physics I've ever seen. It's not just buildings and pipes and cars, but internally the engine handles fire and smoke like I've never seen before.

NASA is in the middle of investigating its first space crime, with American astronaut Anne McClain accessing her partners bank account... from the International Space Station. This could be the first ever crime committed in the silence of space.

McClain is now back on solid ground back here on Earth, where according to her lawyer who spoke with The New York Times, she was only accessing her partners bank account to make sure their family's finances were OK. She wanted to make sure there was enough money to pay for the usual bills, and to care for their son.

Her lawyer added: "She strenuously denies that she did anything improper" and added that she was "totally cooperating".

GTA 5 is no longer playable on NVIDIA's GeForce Now streaming subscription service, and customer service says Rockstar decided to pull the game.

With over 100 million copies sold to date, GTA 5 is everywhere...except GeForce Now. The pop-culture juggernaut was pulled from NVIDIA's $7.99 a month GeForce Now cloud gaming service overnight, and the game no longer appears on the service's list of supported titles. Subscribers logged in and tried to fire up GTA 5 only to find it was missing.

Customer support indicates Rockstar removed the game arbitrarily, leading some to believe Rockstar signed an exclusive deal with Google's competing cloud service Stadia. It's possible and more likely that Rockstar's license deal with NVIDIA expired. For some, using NVIDIA's remote servers was the only way to play GTA 5 and others feel blindsided by the sudden disappearance.

After five years of waiting, fans are finally getting a climatic end to The Clone Wars animated series.

Disney today confirmed The Clone Wars season 7 will release in February 2020 exclusively on its new $7 a month Disney+ subscription service. The seventh season will run for 12 episodes and is the last and final run for the series, but the show's supervising director Dave Filoni gives hope on some spin-offs.

"It will conclude the story that George and I started together. There could be stories after that that take place with a lot of those characters. But especially for me directing Clone Wars, being that hands-on, I wrote and directed the final four episodes. It's the end of something I feel really good about," Filoni told Entertainment Weekly.

Disney today dropped a new trailer for its all new original Star Wars show The Mandalorian, showing off a distinct high-tech spaghetti western tone.

An episodic, TV show format is perfect for Star Wars, and will let creators spin unique tales that connect outside of a two-hour window. The Mandalorian is a great example, and the first official trailer shows a lone wolf gunslinger surviving the harsh, Imperial-ruled cosmos as a kind of mercenary lawman hunting down nefarious criminals--all for the right price.

The footage is stylish, striking, and appeals to the inner Star Wars fan in me, complete with exotic planets, AT-ST walkers, blaster gunfights, and lots of marks sealed in carbonite. The show itself takes place in the twilight era between The Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens, and will be exclusive to Disney's new $6.99 Disney+ subscription service.

Obi-Wan will return to the small screen in a new Star Wars spin-off show, Disney confirmed during its Disney23 expo.

The rumors were right and it's now official: Ewan McGregor will star as the confident, charming, and powerful Jedi master Obi-Wan Kenobi in a new Star Wars TV show. The series will be exclusive to Disney's new $6.99 a month Disney+ streaming service, and joins a retinue of new shows like The Mandalorian and MCU titles She-Hulk, Moon Knight, and Ms. Marvel.

While no official details have been confirmed on the show's timeline or content, we expect it to be prequel-based and may explore Obi-Wan's side plots and exploits across the galaxy. We've already seen a lot of Obi-Wan's interpersonal relationships and trials in the excellent Clone Wars TV show (which is also getting a 7th season!).

Massively ambitious total conversion mod Skywind aims to recreate Morrowind in Skyrim's engine, complete with beloved spears and fancy alteration magics.

The folks over at the TES Renewal Team are real-life magicians. Not only are they recreating the entirety of Oblivion in Skyrim's game engine, but Morrowind is also getting unofficially remastered too. We have lots of questions about UI features, magic, level-up skills and more, but a new Skywind gameplay trailer reveals some awesome tidbits, including the return of two-handed spears.

The gameplay shows off Balmora's reinvigorated high-def beauty, complete with that distinct exotic ashlander architecture. The demo sees players take on an assassination mission for the nefarious Morag Tong guild. Joining this guild was contentious in the game and could alienate you from other factions, so you had to do it just right--I remember joining all the guilds in the game with a proper sequence. There's literal political differences that'll forever lock you out of a guild if you side with their enemies.

Originally announced in 2016, the Metro 2033 film has been on ice for a while. Until now.

The Metro 2033 film adaptation project has now been resurrected, and will start principle production sometime in 2020, Variety reports. Only this time around it'll be native to its home country rather than produced in the United States. Russian film titan Gazprom Media is overseeing the movie, and the country's largest media firm expects to "invest an unprecedented sum" into the movie.

Original Metro series creator and writer Dmitry Glukhovsky is directly connected with the film, which will chronicle Artyom's journey in a haunting post-apocalyptic world where humanity hides in subterranean tunnels to survive. The film will follow the events original Metro 2033 novel, which are also chronicled in 4A Games' excellent video game adaptation.

Although it's published by Private Division, a new label that favors the Epic Store, Kerbal Space Program 2 will instead be sold on Steam.

Kerbal Space Program 2 is happening, complete with co-op play and lots of new content like interstellar travel. It's also coming to Steam and "other digital storefronts," which could include the Epic Store, but it could also include the eShop. Right now Epic is focused on snatching up exclusivity to bolster game sales and engagement figures so they usually force exclusivity for all games on their storefronts, or at the very least force devs to choose between EGS and STeam. This shows that Take-Two's new Private Division label is quite flexible despite the parent company pushing some games on the Epic Store (Borderlands 3 is on the Epic Store, but at the same time NBA 2K20, Take-Two's cash crop, is on Steam).

Another refreshing bit of news is microtransactions won't be included either. The Kerbal devs say the sequel doesn't have in-game currencies or lootboxes, and they even confirm the original Kerbal Space Program isn't being retired or abandoned. New content is still on the way for the first game.

Mockups and renders are always a huge part of next-gen console hype, and some PS5 mockups started floating around based on the console's devkit design. But this isn't how the finalized PlayStation 5 should look--devkits are usually pretty different.

Compared to other devkits over the years, the PS5's devkit looks pretty flamboyant (we're not 100% sure if Sony's recent patents are actually a PS5 devkit, and only one Codemasters dev has stepped in to confirm). It's got a dramatic chassis with a layered V-shaped design, presumably for cooling the system's higher-end Navi GPU and Zen 2 CPU hardware. This makes sense considering devs are encouraged to push the hardware to its limits and max out CPU, GPU, and system memory limitations. But this mockup probably doesn't reflect the PS5 that'll be out on store shelves in late 2020.

Historically, developer kits of consoles are always quite different than the final design. It's a question of raw performance design versus a sleek, efficient, and appealing consumer product. Right now the PS5 looks like a next-gen Johnny 5 or a futuristic manta ray or something, not like the usual systems Sony sells. I mean, the original Xbox One (codenamed Durango) devkit was an actual PC tower not a console.

CD Projekt RED has released a new batch of Cyberpunk 2077 screenshots from Gamescom 2019, the screenshots are in gorgeous 4K and give us a great look into the detailed world of Cyberpunk 2077.

The released images give us a detailed look into some chaotic environments that look splendid. We also see some snap shots of fire fight combat (lovely blood splats), enemies, explosions, wide-spread location shots, and vehicles such as motorbikes and cars.

CD Projekt RED confirmed at this years Gamescom that Cyberpunk 2077 will be releasing as single-player only game, and that currently the developers are working on the community requested New Game Plus. It isn't yet clear whether or not Cyberpunk 2077 will arrive with a multiplayer aspect, but I'd say that CD Projekt RED will first nail the single-player release and then perhaps move onto multiplayer. Cyberpunk 2077 will release on April 16th, 2020 on the PS4, Xbox One and PC.

One of the very first games that was announced to be exclusive to the Epic Games Store has finally be given its Steam release date.

The game is called 'Hades' and is a dungeon crawler title developed by Supergiant Games. While this might not be the biggest and most recognized game on the market, since it was one of the first games to be exclusive to the Epic Games Store it certainly holds some historical value.

Since Hades' Epic Games Store exclusivity expiration seems to be coming to an end, Supergiant Games have released a Steam Early Access trailer on their YouTube Channel. The video is above, and if you are a dungeon crawler fan and don't have an Epic Games Store account, I'd definitely keep an eye on this title. The first gameplay look at Bandai Namco's upcoming Dragon Ball Z title, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot has been showcased and captured at Gamescom 2019.

Above we have the captured gameplay footage from Bandai Namco's Gamescom 2019 presentation showcasing some gameplay from the games 'Cell Saga'. We have 12 minutes of footage to enjoy and we can see Gohan going toe-to-toe with none other than Cell himself.

If you have been caught outside the loop, Bandai Namco will be soon releasing Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot which tells a story of the famous Goku and most of his epic battles. The game will allow players to experience challenging quests from the anime and TV show while also pitting players against some of Goku's most notorious villains. At the moment there isn't a release date scheduled for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, all we have to go on is that the title will be released sometime during 2020.

Scamming is becoming more and more prevalent in this day and age, and the new form of scamming that is hitting the internet in waves is 'business email compromise' or BEC for short.

What is a BEC scam? Well, its actually quite simple when you think about it. A BEC scam is when a criminal impersonates a third-party convinces someone at a business to wire them business funds. Usually the criminal will locate someone within the business that has access to the companies funds, once that person is located the criminal might compromise the email account holder or the companies supplier and request funds to be paid to them. Some cases of BEC scams have been based entirely on social engineering through spoofed email accounts.

In the case of Portland Public Schools, the scammer got two employee's at the schools to send him money as the scammer was posing as one of the institution's construction contractors. The employees unknowingly sent the scammer a staggering $2.9 million dollars, luckily Portland Schools moved extremely quickly and contacted the banks to freeze the transaction. The transaction was successfully frozen, and Portland Public School contacted the FBI for further investigation into the matter.

A small shoebox-sized space probe has given astronomers some valuable information regarding an asteroid called 'Ryugu' that is floating close to Earth.

The shoeboxed-sized probe is called The German-French Mobile Asteroid Surface Scout (MASCOT) and it arrived in space aboard Japan's Hayabusa2 spaceship. The spaceship carried the probe to its touchdown location on the 900-meter wide asteroid 'Ryugu' on October 3rd, 2018. The probe took tempature readings of the asteroid and other measurements of its composition, it also took some quite detailed images of the space rock.

Ralf Jaumann of the German Aerospace Center and the lead author of a paper discussed the relayed information, and said "The interesting thing there is it really shows that Ryugu is the product of some kind of violent process". It is suspected that Ryugu is a "child" of two parent bodies that once collided and broke apart, but then reformed due to their gravitational pull. In the entirety of this article I have included the other images that were snapped.

Astronomers are constantly searching for life elsewhere in the universe and everyday we move closer to answering that big question - are we alone out here?

Scientists have presented new work at the Keynote Lecture at the Goldschmidt Geochemistry Congress in Barcelona, claiming that they have located several exoplanets that have the required conditions to harbor life. So does an exoplanet need to harbor life? Firstly, scientists and astronomers are looking for planets that come under the 'habitable zone', which means the planet must have a potential for liquid water oceans and possibly breathable oxygen.

Dr. Stephanie Olson (University of Chicago) presented this new information and says that "NASA's search for life in the Universe is focused on so-called 'habitable zone' planets, which are worlds that have the potential for liquid water oceans. But not all oceans are equally hospitable-and some oceans will be better places to live than others due to their global circulation patterns."

Fans of Spider-Man have decided to boycott PlayStation after the recent Spider-Man news surrounding the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Shocked puts it quite simply. Spider-Man fans from around the globe felt that shock when it was announced that Spider-Man would be leaving the Marvel Cinematic Universe due to Sony not being able to come to terms with Disney on a new deal. This obviously caused major controversy with fans as Spider-Man is one the most loved Avengers, and not being able to see him in another Avengers movie is certainly heartbreaking to some.

In response to this news, fans have taken to Twitter to express their concerns. Some fans have even taken it as far as boycotting PlayStation by selling their entire console and switching over to Xbox. While I don't know how much this will directly hurt the revenue or player-base of Sony's PlayStation, it does show that fans are really not happy with the decision Sony has made regarding Spider-Man being included in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Nintendo UK has blessed Zelda fans with a brand new 30 minute long gameplay video of their upcoming Zelda: Link's Awakening Remake.

The gameplay video has been released onto the Nintendo UK YouTube Channel, and gives us a great look at what Nintendo has done to remaster the classic title. I must say before I go any further, I do advise anyone who wants to saver the improvements to not watch this video, but for those who just can't help themselves enjoy!

The gameplay video release came out of Gamescom 2019, and showcases some, but not all the improvements Nintendo has made. We get a great display of aspects such as graphics, physics, combat, enemies, dungeons, bosses, game mechanics and much more. Currently, Nintendo has scheduled the release of Zelda: Link's Awakening for the 20th of September, exclusively on the Nintendo Switch.

A new image leak has surfaced online claiming that if Nintendo hold a Direct during the month of September we could hear about 12 new untitled Switch games.

The leak, which can be seen above, is an image of a GameStop screen that lists 12 unreleased Nintendo Switch games. The first thing that comes to mind is that since there is so many games listed under 'untitled' that Nintendo are preparing to announce a bunch of new games ahead of the Christmas season, and before the end of Q3 through a Nintendo Direct.

A Nintendo Direct during September, which is the last month of Q3 makes sense as it would continue the hype train moving forward through to the holiday season and through to Q1 of next year. Do keep in mind though, this is still a 'leak' so there is currently no credible source, all we are going off of is a blurry image from GameStop. Why must all these 'leaks' have blurry images, in this day and age everyone usually has a half-decent phone and that phone comes with a half-decent camera, yet all these 'leaked images' are blurry... It really makes me question their credibility.

We first heard about Sony's new radical V-shaped PlayStation 5 in recent patents, and then a Codemasters developer came out and admitted - yes, the current PS5 developer kits do indeed sport the V-shaped design.

Well now we have the great folks at LetsGoDigital providing some gorgeous 3D renders from the recent PS5 patent, with a closer look at the out-of-this-world design that Sony might be going with for the PlayStation 5.

It even looks good standing up, and I'm sure that the PS5 will be stackable in case gamers want to buy (or have) multiple consoles.
