LG has unveiled a trio of kick-ass new UltraGear gaming monitors, with the introduction of the first-ever OLED gaming monitor in its UltraGear family, a new 32-inch 4K up to 160Hz monitor, and a new 32-inch 1440p up to an insane 260Hz monitor.

The new UltraGear 32GQ850 gaming monitor has a 31.5-inch Nano IPS panel, with a native 2560 x 1440 (1440p) resolution and 240Hz refresh rate (up to 260Hz with OC). LG is using its ATX Polarizer technology on both of its new 32-inch UltraGear monitors, which the company says "guarantees seamless visuals and consistent colors from almost any vantage point".

LG knocks down to VESA DisplayHDR 600 certification on its UltraGear 32GQ850 -- down from the DisplayHDR 1000 certification on the UltraGear 32GQ950. LG has 1ms GTG on both of its new UltraGear 32GQ850 + 32GQ950 gaming monitors, and are NVIDIA G-SYNC + AMD FreeSync Premium Pro compatible.

NASA has taken to its blog to hone in on an elliptical galaxy and a surrounding unusual star-forming dwarf galaxy.

The space agency explains that the elliptical galaxy is called NGC 541, and the irregular dwarf galaxy seen as the blueish object in the above image is named the Minkowski's Object. Notably, NASA explains that elliptical galaxies are almost egg-shaped galaxies that consists of a dense group of stars that have formed after a galaxy merger. These galaxies shoot out radio jets that can't be seen by human eyes, but are detectable with NASA's high-tech instruments equipped to space telescopes such as Hubble.

Furthermore, the radio jet that has been shot out of NGC 541 has "likely" caused the star-formation that can be seen in Minkowski's Object as the extreme heat from the jet compresses the surrounding gas, heating it up - ionizing it. The ionized gas converts back to its lower-energy state, resulting in a radiation cloud. Over time this cloud then cools, beginning the slow process of starbirth. For context, Minkowski's Object holds approximately 20 million stars and is only 7.5 million years old.

Ukrainian military personnel have been spotted since the start of the Russian invasion getting about on electric bikes.

Soldiers have been using electric bikes from both Delfast and ELEEK, two Ukrainian companies. In recent images posted to Telegram, electric bikes from Delfast can be seen rigged up to carry next-generation light anti-tank weapons (NLAWS). Using electric bikes allows soldiers to cover ground quickly but significantly more quietly than motorbikes or other vehicles would allow.

The CEO of Delfast, Daniel Tonkopi, is also Ukrainian and took to Facebook to provide more information about the Ukrainian military using his company's bikes. Delfast gave away the bikes to the frontline personnel, which have since reported back with stellar reviews. In addition to now moving around heavier weaponry, it has been previously reported that e-bikes in Ukraine have been used to transport snipers around and deliver medical supplies.

LG's new UltraGear 32GQ950 is also the company's first 4K monitor to use ATW Polarizer technology, which the company says improves the panel's ability to ensure lively, accurate colors and deep, dark blacks across a wide viewing angle. We've also got VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certification, with a high peak brightness of up to 1000 nits.

Celestis, a space company based out of Texas, launches cremated human remains into space for space burials.

The cremated remains of 47 individuals from five countries are being launched by Celestis from Florida's Space Coast this week. The remains will be onboard a telecommunications satellite, which will orbit Earth for about a decade until it is decommissioned and eventually de-orbits and burns up on re-entry through the atmosphere.

Celestis was founded in 1994, and innovations in the space industry have allowed the company to increase its frequency of launches from about one per seven-year period to having five scheduled in the upcoming 14 months. The packages the company offers start at around $5,000.

LG UltraGear has just announced its first OLED gaming monitor, introducing the new LG UltraGear 48Q900.

The new LG UltraGear 48GQ900 gaming monitor has a huge 48-inch OLED panel, with a native 3840 x 2160 (4K) resolution and 120Hz refresh rate -- which is overclockable by the way, up to 138Hz -- with an 0.1ms response time. LG is offering beautiful color reproduction and contrast thanks to its OLED panel technology, as well as LG's anti-glare low reflection (AGLR) coating.

AGLR reduces visual distractions so that users (gamers) can focus their attention on the gameplay, something that will help you in brighter environments (whether they're lights inside of your house, and room or whether it's sunlight through the window).

Researchers have constructed a new soft robot capable of navigating through mazes without the use of batteries, motors, or computers.

The new spiral-shaped device is made from a rubber-like material that is impregnated with liquid crystals. When the device is placed on a surface, and that surface is heated to at least 131 Fahrenheit, the areas on the device that are touching the surface begin to heat up and expand, while the areas that aren't touching the surface "remain static". The result of this interaction with the heated up surface causes the device to snap in a twisting motion that moves it up to 3.8 millimeters per second.

Notably, when placed in a maze, the soft robot moves in one direction until it reaches an obstacle. Suppose the device cannot pass the obstacle after several attempts. In that case, it will switch its orientation to the opposite of what it currently was, meaning the soft robot will simply collide with all obstacles in its path until it eventually finds its correct path out of the maze. Furthermore, the researchers were able to demonstrate the soft robot with no intelligent control was able to navigate over sand, pebbles, climb slopes, and even push small aluminum cylinders.

Google has taken to its blog to announce that it's Street View's 15th birthday, and with its birthday comes some new upgrades for users and Street View's camera.

Google explains that Street View originally started as a "far fetched idea" from Google co-founder Larry Page, but now the application is comprised of more than 220 billion images from over 100 countries and territories, which makes up the world's largest 360-degree map. Even though Google Maps and Street View have come further than Google could have imagined when the ideas were first conceived, the company states that it's still planning improvements.

Street View will be getting a new camera system that will allow Street View to keep up with the extremely fast pace the world changes. The camera will weigh less than 15 pounds, be customizable, features lidar, laser scanners, and more. Additionally, the new camera will also be able to fit onto any car, making it easier for Google's partners around the world. Lastly, Google states that the new camera will appear on iconic Street View cars next year.

Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk has taken a step outside of the $200 billion net worth range, according to recent reports.

Bloomberg's Billionaire's Index indicates that Musk saw his net worth plummet by approximately 5.4% on Tuesday, following an almost 7% in Tesla's share trading price. Notably, after Tuesday, Musk's net worth is expected to be the lowest its been since August 26 at approximately $192.7 billion. Coming in second place on Bloomberg's Billionaire's Index is Amazon founder Jeff Bezos who is estimated to have about $127.8 billion.

Furthermore, the last time that Musk's net worth dropped below the $200 billion mark was in March this year, but that drop quickly recovered, with Musk seeing his net worth skyrocket to a staggering $288 billion on April 4, which also happened to be the same day the Tesla CEO revealed he owned a 9% stake in Twitter and only days before he began initiating his strategy to purchase the platform.

The space agency took to its blog on May 19 to share a new study that focused on the universe's expansion rate.

The press release found on the NASA website details a study that used the Hubble Space Telescope, along with other highly advanced instruments designed to observe the universe in a variety of different ways, to accumulate a large pool of data that was boiled down to what is now considered "the most precise measure of the expansion rate for the universe" to date.

The increase in precision has come with its own problems, as researchers found a discrepancy that has left them scratching their heads. The discrepancy is between the "expansion rate as measured in the local universe compared to independent observations from right after the big bang, which predict a different expansion value." Furthermore, NASA states that previous data from Hubble indicated the universe was expanding at a rate of 72 plus or minus 8 kilometers per second per megaparsec, which is much faster than the researchers' prediction of 67.5

MSI has just introduced the world's second 34-inch QD-OLED gaming monitor, with the introduction of the new MSI MEG 342C QD-OLED gaming monitor.

The new MSI MEG 342C QD-OLED gaming monitor has 34-inch QD-OLED panel, with a native 3440 x 1440 resolution and super-smooth 175Hz refresh rate. MSI is using an 1800R curvature, with some MEG features baked-in: Sound Tune AI noise canceling, a KVM switch, smart crosshair, and an ambient light sensor.

Alienware recently debuted its AW3423DW (with near identical specs: 34-inch 3440 x 1440 resolution + 175Hz refresh rate with a QD-OLED panel) priced at $1400. MSI hasn't priced its new MEG 342C QD-OLED gaming monitor just yet, but we do know it has a 0.1ms GtG response time, 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio, and around 1000 nits of brightness for HDR content and gaming.

Elon Musk has recently posted to his Twitter account, sharing a video of him discussing what he believes the biggest threat to civilization is.

The SpaceX and Tesla CEO took to his Twitter account share data from the Wall Street Journal that indicates the birthrate across the United States has been below "sustainable" levels for more than 50 years. Musk then shared a video of him on stage saying that the biggest problem the world will face in 20 years will be population collapse, where birthrates slow down and the rate at which deaths occur speeds up.

Musk was met by several individuals online that criticized his perspective of the population problem, with many of them saying that people simply cannot afford to have children. Musk replied to these comments by asking, "Then why is it that the richer someone is, the fewer kids they have?", which was backed up by an image from a 1944 American Sociological Review report that found as families' income grew, there was a reduction in the number of children born into that family.

A new exclusive report has detailed the money trail left behind by many of the organizations that have threatened to boycott Twitter over Elon Musk's coming decisions to change the platform's policies.

Breitbart News has learned through research and analysis conducted by the Foundation for Freedom Online (FFO) that traced the funding of many of the organizations that signed the open letter, which threatened to pull advertising from Twitter if Musk rolled back established Twitter policies and implemented his version of "free speech" on the platform.

The FFO found that out of the 26 organizations that signed the open letter opposing Musk's new vision for the platform, 11 of them were funded by a Gates-backed entity that received large contributions from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. For instance, in 2020, the New Venture Fund received the largest one-year donation the Gates Foundation has given out in the last ten years. Notably, New Venture funds four of the signatories on the open letter.

AMD is getting more games onto the roster for FSR 2.0, with the latest game joining the ranks being Farming Simulator 22.

In the latest update to Farming Simulator 22 we're getting AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR) 2.0 support, becoming the second game with FSR 2.0 alongside DEATHLOOP. The new Patch 1.5 for Farming Simulator 22 is quite extensive, with some details below.

The developer explains: "We have a pallet full of game improvements for you! Patch 1.5 is now available for Farming Simulator 22 - and brings a variety of optimizations and quality-of-(farming)-life improvements to the game. Like increased pallet limits".

AMD showed off a 16-core engineering sample of a Ryzen 7000 series CPU at Computex 2022, cranked up to a rather huge 5.5GHz in ES form... at stock settings, no overclocking says AMD.

AMD has now confirmed that when it was running Ghostwire: Tokyo on the Zen 4 processor, that when it was hitting 5.5GHz that it was at stock: no overclocking. The Ryzen 7000 series CPU was running at over 5.3GHz for the most part, cooler with a 280mm AIO cooler from Asetek with 32GB of DDR5-6000 CL30 memory.

The stock Zen 4 CPU was hitting 5.2GHz to 5.5GHz on all cores, with AMD wanting the world to know this is at stock and nothing special was done. Ian Cutress confirmed that AMD was using a "reference mobo" with a 280mm AIO cooler, "plugged in, no OC" and that it was the "natural" frequency of the CPU. He added that "most threads around 5.5, depends on scene/game" while "5.2-5.5 on all threads was common on the game".

NVIDIA didn't have too much to celebrate at Computex 2022, but the company did show off its hectic new ASUS ROG Swift 500Hz gaming monitor: a new 1080p @ 500Hz (yes, 500FPS) with a brand new "E-TN" (Esports TN) panel. We also heard about 10 other games being announced NVIDIA DLSS, including the aforementioned Hitman 3 + Sniper Elite 5 as well as F1 22, and many more super-powered with DLSS tech.

Argo AI is now testing fully driverless vehicles in major US cities, including Miami, Florida, and Austin, Texas -- the first company to do driverless testing in two cities simultaneously.

The self-driving startup is backed by auto giants Ford and Volkswagen, with Argo AI announcing last week that it was testing fully driverless vehicles in Florida and Texas. An Argo staffer will be riding passenger in the vehicle, testing out the AI-powered vehicle before the service goes live to the public.

Argo will be launching an autonomous micro-transit and delivery service in Germany, powered by its fifth-generation autonomous technology, rolling out in 2025. Meanwhile, on US soil the company is tapping its fourth-generation autonomous technology: in Miami, Austin, Washington DC, Pittsburgh, Detroit, and California.

MSI has unveiled its new Project Zero: a new LGA1700-based motherboard that has no power connectors -- well, no connectors at all -- on the front.

The only things that you can see are the LGA1700 socket (for an Intel 12th Gen Core "Alder Lake" CPU), 4 x DDR5 DIMMs, and some PCIe connectors. You can see the connectors are still there, but cleverly hidden -- it looks great, and seems to be a new trend -- hiding all of the cables for a more sleek look inside your PC.

GIGABYTE recently teased its new Project Stealth, offering a similar ninja-style hide-as-many-cables-as-you-can: but they also offered a custom GeForce RTX 3070 graphics card, too. MSI is only doing the board here, but there's still some redesigning here: motherboard headers, SATA and power connectors, and more.

Swedish "buy now, pay later" company Klarna is laying off 10% of its workforce, but did it in a rather robotic way: with a prerecorded video message.

Klarna CEO Sebastian Siemiatkowski informed its near-7000 employees that 10% of them would be out of a job, leaving around 700 people unemployed. Klarna CEO Sebastian Siemiatkowski said in the prerecorded video message: "When we set our business plans for 2022 in the autumn of last year, it was a very different world than the one we are in today".

Siemiatkowski continued: "Since then, we have seen a tragic and unnecessary war in Ukraine unfold, a shift in consumer sentiment, a steep increase in inflation, a highly volatile stock market and a likely recession. All of which have marked the beginning of a very tumultuous year". He did note that workers based in Europe would get an "associated compensation", while severance packages for US staffers would "look different" depending on the location.

Just like the original Modern Warfare reboot, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 will release in October.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 will launch on October 28, 2022, Activision has announced. Leaked files show the game is coming to both current-gen (PS4, Xbox One) and next-gen (PS5, Xbox Series X/S) consoles.

The announcement also reveals Modern Warfare's playable tactical team which includes renowned characters like Price, Soap, and Ghost, alongside some new faces.
