On November 16, Elon Musk tweeted that "Blue Verified," or Twitter Blue needed to be relaunched following the rocky start to the company's newly revised subscription service.

On the very first day of Twitter Blue being available to users, the social media platform experienced a massive influx of account impersonators that created new fake profiles of individuals/companies. This wave of impersonators with newly purchased check marks caused many problems for individuals and companies, as some individuals impersonated Twitter's own Twitter account, writing that Twitter Blue was "free" to cryptocurrency and NFT holders that "authenticated" their digital wallet via the included link. This illegitimate post sadly wasn't removed until it already had more than 30,000 retweets.

Musk wrote that Blue Verified would relaunch on November 29. However, the Tesla CEO has now said that the company will be "holding off" on the relaunch of "Blue Verified" until it has "high confidence" it can stop impersonation across the platform. Musk added that Twitter will likely use a different color checkmark for organizations and individuals. An example of this would be NASA having a different colored checkmark than Lebron James, who's a public figure.

Twitter has been hit with another departure from a top executive that on her way out, took a swing at Twitter owner Elon Musk over the changes he's made at the company.

The top Twitter executive is Sarah Rosen, the head of Twitter's US content partnerships, who has spent the last 8.5 years at the company. According to a tweet from Rosen, the former Twitter executive has spent the last several days coming to terms with saying "goodbye to Twitter", with Rosen adding that her time at the company was an absolute "privilege of my career" while also thanking her colleagues and partners she was able to work with throughout her employment.

Before Rosen rounded up her tweet, the former head of Twitter's US content partnerships seemingly took a swing at Musk's vision for Twitter, writing, "hot damn we had it good at Twitter 1.0", which seems to be a reference to Musk's announced Twitter 2.0 vision that includes mass restructuring at the company, overhauls, increased workload, and much more. Notably, Rosen used a salute emoji along with a blue heart emoji at the end of her tweet, which seems to be what lots of former Twitter employees are using to say goodbye to the company.

The collapse of what was the world's second-largest cryptocurrency exchange has shaken the entire cryptocurrency space, with warnings now coming out from officials at the Bank of England.

According to Jon Cunliffe, the Bank of England's deputy governor for financial stability, who spoke at a conference at Warwick Business School this past Monday, the collapse of Sam Bankman-Fried's FTX exchange is an indicator that the cryptocurrency space is in dire need of regulation before it grows to the point of being able to impact the global financial system.

Notably, Cunliffe said that at the moment, cryptocurrency isn't large enough to threaten the stability of the financial system, but it's fast-growing, and "its links with mainstream finance have been developing rapidly." Furthermore, the top bank official said that lawmakers "should not wait" to develop the laws "necessary to prevent a crypto shock that could have a much greater destabilizing impact."

A former Twitter employee has said that he wishes he had written more "devastating jokes" about Elon Musk if he knew he'd be fired for it.

According to a report from Insider, the Twitter owner is targeting employees that are part of a Slack chat group called "Social Watercooler", which contains about 2,000 employees that typically criticize the company. The publication reports that former Twitter employee Daniel Fletcher, who claims to be a former Twitter engineer, said on November 15 that he was fired "fired for unspecified recent behavior in violation of unnamed company policy i.e. hanging out in the #social-watercooler."

A top secret US military plane has passed a record number of days in Earth's orbit while on its mysterious mission.

The X-37B space plane took off from Earth on May 17, 2020, and according to reports, the US military's top-secret vehicle successfully landed at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida on Saturday, November 12, completing a record 908 days in orbit. The vehicle named Orbital Test Vehicle-6 (OTV-6) is an unnamed space plane that is operated by the US Space Force, which placed several classified experiments aboard the vehicle as well as some that are known to the public.

One of those experiments is the Naval Research Laboratory's Photovoltaic Radiofrequency Antenna Module, which is an experiment designed to harness solar rays outside of Earth's atmosphere and transmit power back down to Earth's surface in radio frequency microwave energy. This experiment was proven successful. Another publicly known experiment is the US Air Force Academy's FalconSat-8, which was deployed by OTV-6 in October 2021 and is still available for use today.

TSMC has announced that it will be producing next-gen 3nm chips at its new factory in the USA, with its factory in Arizona not completely finished, but TSMC founder Morris Chang has provided the world with an update.

Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) founder Morris Chang said on Monday: "Three-nanometre, TSMC right now has a plan, but it has not been completely finalised. It has almost been finalised - in the same Arizona site, phase two. Five-nanometre is phase one, 3-nanometre is phase two".

Chang was speaking with reporters in Taipei after he returned from the APEC summit that was held last week in Thailand, that the next-gen 3nm fabrication plant would be in the same location as the 5nm plant being built in Arizona. TSMC will be holding a "tool-in" ceremony for its new Arizona plant, which will take place on December 6, with Chang being in attendance -- along with TSMC customers and suppliers, as well as U.S. Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo.

OPN codes are just AMD product codes, with the base clocks switched out so we don't know what CPU frequencies to expect on these chips just yet... as they're finalized closer to these CPUs becoming a reality. We can see the flagship AMD Eng Sample: 100-000000884-21_N (96 Core / 192 Thread) processor there, rocking 96 cores and 192 threads which is an insane amount of CPU power.

NVIDIA has finally, finally weighed in on the explosive issue of 16-pin "12VHPWR" power connectors melting on their expensive new flagship GeForce RTX 4090 graphics cards.

After an extensive investigation and wicked video put out by the folks at GamersNexus, NVIDIA has released an official statement on what the hell is going on with the melting 12VHPWR power connectors. NVIDIA has said that they are "aware of about 50 cases globally" of melting GeForce RTX 4090 power connectors.

NVIDIA says that their findings to date suggest that the common issue with faulty GeForce RTX 4090 graphics cards is that the 16-pin 12VHPWR power connector is "not fully plugged into" the graphic card. The company suggests that you plug in the power dongle (the 16-pin to 4 x 8-pin PCIe adapter) into the graphics card first, to ensure that the 12VHPWR power connector is firmly, and evenly plugged in, before you put the GeForce RTX 4090 onto your motherboard.
