Melinda may have divorced Bill Gates over friendship Jeffrey Epstein
Last week Bill and Melinda Gates announced that they would be divorcing, and now new reports have come out about why.
The Wall Street Journal has reported that Melinda Gates has been considering divorcing Bill Gates for two years before the divorce was made official. The two were married for 27 years, and according to the Journal, Melinda had been meeting with lawyers across multiple different firms since 2019 in an attempt to fix a marriage that was "irretrievably broken."
Bill and Melinda haven't said what has caused the two to split up, but the Journal reported that the main speculative reason is that Melinda has been upset with Bill over his friendship with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Bill and Melinda first met Epstein in 2011 after Epstein pleaded guilty to soliciting an underage girl in 2008 - "still haunts" Melinda Gates. People who were close to the meeting said that Melinda was "furious" over the relationship Bill had with Epstein.

Hubble celebrates Mothers Day with image of space that 'raised' stars
Hubble is officially celebrating Mother's Day, and for all the mothers out there, the space telescope has published an incredible image of a region of space.
Hubble says that the region of space is known as 30 Doradus. It's located 170,000 light-years from Earth and has been the birthplace of millions of young stars. Hubble goes on to say that 30 Doradus has "raised" these young stars and that it's one of the largest "visible star-forming site in a neighboring galaxy."
The image that Hubble has captured with its Wide Field Camera 3 and Advanced Camera for Surveys is roughly 650 light-years across. Hubble is able to look at individual stars, which allows astronomers to gather important information about the birth of the star and its evolution. 30 Doradus is described as a "star-forming factory", with any of the stars in the image being between 2 million to about 25 million years old. For more information on this story, check out this link here.

Elon Musk reveals he has Asperger's on SNL while Dogecoin drops by 22%
SpaceX and Tesla CEO Elon Musk has recently appeared on Saturday Night Live to host the show, and throughout his hosting, Musk revealed that he has Asperger's.
Musk's appearance on Saturday Night Live was highly anticipated, as many people believed that he would use his airtime time to promote topics such as dogecoin or cryptocurrency in general. During his opening monologue, Musk revealed that he was "making history tonight", as he is the first person to host Saturday Night Live with Asperger's, "or at least the first to admit it".
To most people's surprise, Musk didn't use his time on Saturday Night Live to promote dogecoin or any other cryptocurrencies. He instead used to make fun of certain aspects of himself in a humbling yet surprisingly comedic way. The only mention of dogecoin throughout the show was when Musk's mother mentioned that she didn't want to receive dogecoin as a Mother's day gift, to which he said, "it sure is". While Musk was on Saturday Night Live, the price of dogecoin was tumbling down, and over a 24-hour period, it dropped by 22%.

Democrats reignite witch-hunt for Trump's financial records
The hunt for former President Donald Trump's financial records has been reignited by a Democrat-led House committee.
The committee is currently pushing a federal judge to order former President Donald Trump to comply with a subpoena to release his financial records. The argument the committee is pushing is that Trump has no reason or claim not to release his financial records now that he is no longer the President of the United States.
The effort is being led by the chair Carolyn Maloney, and according to a source close to the matter, if the committee is successful, it would be moving closer to obtaining Trump's tax records. Douglas Letter, the general counsel for congressional Democrat, wrote, "While the committee's need for the subpoenaed information has not changed, one key fact has: plaintiff Donald J Trump is no longer the president".

GALAX GeForce RTX 3070 + RTX 3080 LHR series: gimped ETH mining GPUs
We had heard that "Lite Hash Rate" (LHR) cards were coming with gimped Ethereum mining performance, but now it looks like they're going to be called "Lower Hash Rate" and GALAX has spilled the beans.
The new GALAX GeForce RTX 3080 LHR and GeForce RTX 3070 LHR are exactly what you think: GeForce RTX 3080 and GeForce RTX 3070 graphics cards with Lower Hash Rate performance: gimped for Ethereum miners. GALAX's new GeForce RTX 3080 LHR packs 10GB of GDDR6 at 19Gbps on a 320-bit memory bus, while the GALAX GeForce RTX 3070 rocks 8GB of GDDR6 at 14Gbps on a 256-bit memory bus.
You should be seeing around 43MH/s of Ethereum mining power out of the RTX 3080 LHR while we can expect around 25MH/s out of the RTX 3070 LHR.

GIGABYTE's new AORUS 17X YD: Core i9-11980H + RTX 3080 with 16GB GDDR6
ASUS is readying its new ROG Zephyrus G16 and G17 gaming laptops powered by Intel's next-gen Tiger Lake-H mobile processors and now GIGABYTE's new AORUS 17X YD laptop has been teased.
GIGABYTE is preparing to launch multiple new gaming laptops in its AORUS, AERO, and G-Series families with Intel's latest Tiger Lake-H processor. The flagship AORUS 17X YD gaming laptop packs an unlocked Tiger Lake-H CPU in the form of the new Intel Core i9-11980H.
GPU wise we have NVIDIA's new GeForce RTX 3080 Max-P with 16GB of GDDR6, the GPU has a TDP of up to 165W through Dynamic Boost. All of that CPU and GPU grunt is not used to that great appeal with GIGABYTE opting for a large 17.3-inch display but low 1080p 300Hz resolution. I hate saying that a 300 frames per second monitor is disappointing, but a 1440p 165Hz IPS panel would've been a much better choice here.

ASUS shows off ROG Zephyrus M16 + S17 gaming laptops with Tiger Lake-H
ASUS has teased two of its new gaming laptops powered by Intel's new Tiger Lake-H processors, with the company showcasing its new ROG Zephyrus M16 and S17. The trailer is full-on typical ASUS fashion and makes me miss Computex all that more. Check it out:
The new ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16 and S17 gaming laptops will offer Intel's new rockin' CPU series as it is a big upgrade over previous-gen mobile CPU offerings from Intel. The new Tiger Lake 8-core H-series CPUs will be made on Intel's new 10nm SuperFin architecture, have PCIe 4.0 support (yay for super-fast SSDs) and pack NVIDIA's latest GeForce RTX 30 series GPUs.
ASUS is launching its first-ever 16-inch laptop with the introduction of the new ROG Zephyrus M16, which will have a 16:10 aspect ratio display. As for the bigger ROG Zephyrus M17 gaming laptop it will have a new titled keyboard design, which is not too different from the dual-screen ASUS ROG Zephyrus Duo laptop. In place of the second screen the keyboard gets placed at a titled angle for improved comfort.

LiveLeak has been shut down after 15 years being the anti-YouTube
I can still remember visiting LiveLeak all the way back when it first popped onto the much freer internet at the time 15 years ago, but now LiveLeak has been shut down.
The news that video-sharing site LiveLeak was being shut down was shared on Twitter by LiveLeak founder Hayden Hewit, who said that the "very pressures of doing what were a large part of the reason for moving on. It wasn't exactly a Wordpress blog on $2.99 hosting". The cost of hosting LiveLeak seems to have been too much in the end.
LiveLeak was shut down on May 5 and has been replaced with a new project from Hayden and his team called ItemFix, which is similar to other platforms where it allows people to post and edit videos, images, and audio. LiveLeak was much more liberal in what people could upload, whereas ItemFix will be clamping down on all of those things that made LiveLeak a destination for millions of people.

AMD Ryzen 6000 APUs: Zen 3+ CPU cores on 6nm and 12 RDNA 2 GPU cores
We are hearing some new rumbles on AMD's next-gen Ryzen 6000 series APUs codenamed Rembrandt, with leaker ExecutibleFix pumping out some new details.
In the tweets we're told that AMD's new Rembrandt APUs will be using the new Zen 3+ architecture, RDNA 2 GPU cores and be on TSMC's new 6nm node. We heard all of this nearly a year ago now with previous rumors: Zen 3+ architecture + RDNA 2 architecture + TSMC 6nm node.
But the new rumors are teasing that the Rembrandt APU packs 12 Compute Units of RDNA 2 GPU cores, which will be interesting to see how gaming performance will end up when the new APUs launch in 2022. The current-gen Cezanne APUs feature 512 stream processors based on the previous-gen Vega GPU architecture, while the new Rembrandt APU cores will pack 768 stream processors -- a 50% increase.

Microsoft and Adidas rumored to be working on Xbox-themed sneakers
Sony has been working with Nike for a while on PlayStation-themed sneakers, with the companies recently collaborating on the recently-announced PG5 sneakers designed with the aesthetics and feel of the new PlayStation 5. Well, now it's time for Microsoft and Adidas to team up for some Xbox-themed kicks.
According to Complex the companies are collaborating on new Xbox sneakers that will see four different pairs of Xbox sneakers arrive later this year. Complex reports that leaked documents from Adidas tease work-in-progress sneakers designed with the Xbox look and feel in mind, with black/white/neon green colors and of course... the Xbox logo on the heel.
We're told to expect the first pair of Xbox sneakers sometime in June 2021, where they will act as part of a promotional version of Adidas's new Forum Tech Boost style. Later in the year in October, two new Xbox-themed pairs of Adidas Forum Mid will launch, while in November another pair of kicks of the Forum Tech Boost.

AMD could reveal next-gen RDNA 3 architecture in December 2021
AMD is busy handling a million-and-one things between its new Zen CPU architectures, RDNA GPU architectures, semi-custom designs for Microsoft, Sony, and other companies -- but the RDNA 3 architecture is the diamond in all that silicon rough for me.
The new RDNA 3 architecture could be revealed as early as December this year according to Tom from Moore's Law is Dead, who hasn't been right on everything but has definitely been over-the-target on many facts surrounding CPUs and GPUs over the last couple of years.
He started by saying that RDNA 3 "could slip 1 or 2 quarters" but it "looked like they might try to do some reveal at the very end of December, I think it's fair to say that RDNA 3 should launch at the earliest early 2022 and you shouldn't be surprised if it actually slips to mid-to-late 2022 but I certainly hope it doesn't".

Apple working on 'portable hybrid console': enhanced GPU + ray tracing
Apple is reportedly still working on its ARM-based game console which is something we heard about in July 2020, and now there's more rumor fuel for that fire with news of a Nintendo Switch-like hybrid console in the works.
The news is coming from Korean community website Clien which sees Apple using a new custom SoC with enhanced GPU performance and ray tracing support. This means Apple will not be using one of its current A-series or M-series processors, including the new Apple M2 chip that will be inside of next-gen iDevices later this year and into 2022.
Apple is reportedly negotiating a deal for future games on its portable hybrid console, teaming with Ubisoft according to the rumors. The developer has reportedly been sending out Apple TVs with A14X Bionic chips to developers for testing in preparation for its purported console.

DarkSide ransomware group takes down largest US fuel pipeline operator
Colonial Pipeline is recovering from a ransomware attack over the weekend which forced the largest US fuel pipeline operator to shut its critical networking supplying the US east coast.
Reuters reports the story explaining that the "attack is one of the most disruptive digital ransom schemes reported and has prompted calls from American lawmakers to strengthen protections for critical U.S. energy infrastructure from hacking attacks".
The Biden administration and Washington are reportedly doing what they can behind the scenes to ensure that fuel supply remains solid and that Colonial Pipeline is back and operating ASAP. The gigantic cross-US pipeline runs between Texas and New Jersey, a distance of around 5500 miles (8850km).

Elon Musk on DOGE-1: mission paid in DOGE, first crypto/meme in space
It was only a few hours ago that SpaceX announced its new DOGE-1 Mission to the Moon... yes, Dogecoin is going to the Moon and now SpaceX and Tesla founder -- and recent SNL host -- Elon Musk is tweeting about it.
Musk tweeted just minutes ago that "SpaceX launching satellite Doge-1 to the moon next year", he added that there are 3 firsts that the Doge-1 mission will do:
He of course follows it up with "To the mooooonnn!!" and then embeds the Dogecoin Song - To the Moon from YouTube like the troll he is. Dogecoin trading volume skyrocketed instantly, as well as the price of Dogecoin which climbed from $0.54 to $0.59 within 10 minutes.

SpaceX now accepts Dogecoin, DOGE-1 satellite to the Moon in Q1 2022
The crazy bastard is actually going to do it... SpaceX and Tesla boss Elon Musk will actually put a literal Dogecoin on the literal Moon with SpaceX announcing it is launching the DOGE-1 Mission to the Moon -- the first-ever commercial lunar payload in history that is paid for entirely in cryptocurrency Dogecoin.
Musk said back on April 1 that he would put a "literal Dogecoin on the literal Moon" and now that's happening, with traditional banks and fiat-based money not paying for this but rather DOGE. Geometric Energy Corporation's DOGE-1 Mission to the Moon will see Geometric Space Corporation (GSC) mission management collaborating with SpaceX to take a 40kg CubeSat riding on a Falcon 9 lunar payload mission in Q1 2022.
The payload itself will take in lunar-spatial intelligence from sensors and cameras onboard, with its integrated communications and computational systems. Geometric Energy's Chief Executive Officer Samuel Reid said: "Having officially transacted with DOGE for a deal of this magnitude, Geometric Energy Corporation and SpaceX have solidified DOGE as a unit of account for lunar business in the space sector".

China's rocket crashed back to Earth, US space command won't say where
Over the last week, many people were concerned about China's out-of-control rocket crashing back down to Earth and potentially hitting an inhabited location.
Reports are now indicating that the Long March 5B rocket has crashed back down to Earth, with most of the rocket burning up upon entry to the atmosphere. Chinese state media have reported that the rocket has landed in the Indian Ocean on Sunday. According to China Manned Space Engineering Office-, the rocket re-entered the atmosphere at 10:24 a.m. Beijing time (0224 GMT) with the coordinates 72.47 degrees east and latitude 2.65 degrees north.
The U.S. Space Command has confirmed the re-entry of Long March 5B, but has said that it cannot verify if any debris impacted land or water. On its website, the U.S. Space Command said, "The exact location of the impact and the span of debris, both of which are unknown at this time, will not be released by U.S. Space Command."
