AMD confirms next-gen RDNA 3 GPUs will launch on November 3
I'm sitting in front of my PC at 11pm at night my time waiting with excitement for NVIDIA and its big next-gen GeForce reveal, and bam... AMD teases its next-gen RDNA 3 GPU reveal for November 3.
Just 2 hours away... 120 minutes and AMD is here to announce its next-gen Radeon RX 7000 series "RDNA 3" graphics card family will be unveiled on November 3. The news is coming directly from Scott Herkelmen, Senior Vice President and General Manager at AMD Radeon who tweeted out the news and told gamers to save the date for RDNA 3.
AMD is showing that it's a bit tougher this generation, after a very strong round with RDNA 2 the company is ready to strike again with RDNA 3 against Ada Lovelace. We've been hearing more and more about AMD's next-gen Radeon RX 7900 XT flagship GPU, rocking Navi 31 with AIB partners ready to clock the GPU "to the moon" as well as 24GB of GDDR6 memory (up from 16GB on the RX 6950 XT and 6900 XT cards).

Intel Arc A770 used by MKBHD, needs RGB cable plugged into your mobo?!
Intel's still-not-yet-released Arc A770 Limited Edition graphics card just got into the hands of company CEO Pat Gelsinger, and YouTuber "MKBHD" who put it in his PC in his latest video. Check it out:
In his new video titled "Building a PC Using YouTuber Merch!" the YouTuber uses an Intel Core i9-12900K processor, days before Intel's new Core i9-13900K is announced, yet an unreleased Intel Arc A770 Limited Edition graphics card, too. MKBHD used an ASUS ProArt Z690 Creator Wi-Fi motherboard and G.SKILL's TridentZ DDR5 RAM, with 64GB DDR5 installed.
Sabrent's wicked-fast Rocket 4 Plus PCIe 4.0 SSDs were used, and a ridiculously over-the-top PSU in the ASUS Thor 1200W PSU was used inside of MKBHD's new PC. Corsair's slick H150i Elite LCD CPU cooler was used to chill the Core i9-13900K, while the entire PC was housed inside of the Corsair 4000X RGB chassis.

AMD says its next-gen RDNA 3 GPU will be the true leader in efficiency
As we get closer to the big GeForce Beyond special broadcast at NVIDIA GTC 2022 in just over 13 hours' time, we're hearing more and more about AMD's new Radeon RX 7000 series "RDNA 3" GPUs.
AMD has posted up a new "Advancing Performance Per Watt to Benefit Gamers" article on its website, where the company details how important, and how much work it has put into performance per watt. NVIDIA's next-gen GeForce RTX 4090 is expected to have a default 450W TGP, and a massive 660W+ TGP when overclocked, so it comes as no surprise that AMD is highlighting power efficiency.
In the article, AMD answers why performance per watt is so important: producing less heat, consuming less power, and enjoying more performance over longer periods of time on top of saving money (power is getting more expensive worldwide). AMD put everything it learned from their successful Ryzen desktop and mobile processors into their Radeon graphics architecture to make RDNA 2 an "extremely efficient GPU architecture".

AMD's next-gen Radeon RX 7000 series GPU: up to 4GHz GPU clocks teased
AMD's new Radeon RX 7000 series "RDNA 3" GPUs aren't too far away now, and with rumors of the Radeon RX 7900 XT hot and fresh, so too are teases that we could expect GPU clocks to reach "almost" 4.0GHz on RDNA 3.
The news is coming from leaker "9550Pro" on Twitter, who simply teased "almost 4GHz GPU" in a new tweet with AMD CEO Dr. Lisa SU in the background when AMD teased its upcoming Radeon RX 7000 series "RDNA 3" graphics card recently. If we consider that AMD's current-gen RDNA 2-based GPUs can reach almost 3.0GHz and sometimes over depending on the GPU, the huge bump up to almost 4.0GHz would be incredible.
NVIDIA's flagship GPUs aren't pushing that, with the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti hitting 2000MHz or so and tapping out, the next-gen GeForce RTX 40 series "Ada Lovelace" GPUs are expected to get much closer to 3.0GHz, while the flagship AD102-based GeForce RTX 4090 is expected to reach 2520MHz boost GPU clock for 450W... and up to 660W when overclocked.

Intel CEO Pat Gelsinger: first batch of Intel Arc A770 nearly ready
Intel CEO Pat Gelsinger has tweeted that his buddy Raja Koduri has sent him over a present: a brand new Intel Arc A770 Limited Edition graphics card.
The new Intel Arc A770 Limited Edition graphics card was personally delivered by Raja, with Pat tweeting that the company is "now getting first batch of A770 cards ready for retail". Intel initially showed off the Arc A770 Limited Edition back over two months ago now, but I guess we're a few days closer to the -- still unknown -- launch date.
Intel has its upcoming 13th Gen Core "Raptor Lake" CPUs and new enthusiast-ready Z790 motherboards right around the corner, with the Intel Innovation event penciled in for September 27. We'll be introduced to the new family of Raptor Lake CPUs, especially the new flagship Core i9-13900K which we've been hearing about for a while now.

Intel Arc A770 Limited Edition GPU tear down, you still can't buy it
You still can't buy Intel's new Arc A770 or Arc A750 graphics cards, but Intel is continuing on marketing the unavailable Arc GPUs with a rather cool tear down on the Intel Arc A770 Limited Edition graphics card.
The upcoming Intel Arc A770 Limited Edition tear down reveals the full ACM-G10 "Alchemist" GPU which has 16GB of GDDR6 memory alongside it, while the AIB partner custom Arc A770 graphics cards will have 8GB of GDDR6 memory. Intel's reference Arc A770 Limited Edition GPU design features dual axial fans and a large copper vapor chamber, attached to four flattened 10 x 3mm heat pipes.
Intel is using a PCB with 6 VRM phases, 6 GDDR6 modules, 3 x DisplayPort 2.0 connectors and a single HDMI 2.1 port. I will note as I always do: it's very cool to see DisplayPort 2.0 connectivity on the Intel Arc A770 Limited Edition graphics card. That connector is capable of pumping out 8K 120Hz and 4K 240Hz which is freaking insane.

Here's how to tune into NVIDIA's next-gen GeForce RTX 40 series reveal
NVIDIA's next-gen GeForce RTX 40 series "Ada Lovelace" GPUs aren't far away now, with the company tweeting out that there's only 40 hours until GeForce Beyond.
The new GeForce Beyond broadcast will take place during GTC 2022 this week, kicking off the reveal of the Ada Lovelace GPU architecture and new GeForce RTX 40 series GPUs on September 20 at 8AM PDT. We're expecting the reveal of the GeForce RTX 4090 and not one, but two GeForce RTX 4080 graphics cards with the RTX 4080 16GB and RTX 4080 12GB.
NVIDIA has officially kicked off the 40 hours mark, another nod towards the RTX 40 series along with the previous teaser from NVIDIA confirming the GeForce RTX 40 series with a message from "User40" on Discord asking "how much faster" -- displayed on the display connected into a PC (which I'm sure is powered by Ada Lovelace).
