On the heels of Gamescom 2018, CD Projekt RED drops a new set of Cyberpunk 2077 screenshots to simultaneously whet our appetites and sate our thirst for new updates.

The more I hear, see, and think about Cyberpunk 2077, the more I want to experience it firsthand. CD Projekt RED's Night City sounds absolutely fantastic in all of its gritty, violent, high-tech splendor, even if it won't be ready for release any time soon.

While CDPR didn't release any new footage at Gamescom in Cologne, Germany, the team did throw out a few new screens and bits of concept art for us to pore over--the last of which actually has a nifty hidden message. Remember, Night City is full of "jackers" (aka hackers who can "jack" into your cerebral implants) so we should see even more of these messages pop up.

Bethesda continues its awesome tongue-in-cheek Vault-Tec series of videos that highlight Fallout 76's many features and mechanics.

We've known for a while now that Bethesda's new online-only Fallout 76 will have a myriad of interactive base-building and crafting options--and rightly so as these are major backbones to most multiplayer service RPGs. For example, we know that bases are technically portable and can be carried around at will in C.A.M.P. modules, and that your home away from Vault 76 can be destroyed by other players or even roaming monsters. But never fear! You can always rebuild.

I surmise that players will spend most of their time crafting and hunting materials to either trade or build various items to boost their character. It all depends on what you want to do that day; for example, you can go mine some mats from a nearby deposit and use them to fortify your radical turret kingdom, or go scavenge for loot peppered throughout post-apocalyptic West Virginia and trade with other players. Or you could open up a makeshift diner and spend all your time making the best irradiated foods in the wasteland and rake in some serious caps to fund your super mutant hunting excursions.

DICE has just shown off some exclusive footage to tech press of Battlefield V running on NVIDIA's new RTX technology, with some proper gameplay footage that is different to the pre-baked demo from the GeForce Gaming Celebration event earlier this week.

The demo was running on an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 graphics card at 1080p and a solid 60FPS and it looked absolutely beautiful. We have the video embedded above, so you'll be able to check it out for yourself and see just how good RTX looks enabled, and disabled in Battlefield V.

During GamesCom 2018, THQ Nordic, the publisher behind the upcoming Biomutant have released a brand new gameplay trailer for the title.

The short trailer showcases to players an awesome setting, unique gameplay mechanics such as bubbles that hurt enemies, flexible and smooth climbing, mount riding, weapons, mech suits and of course some great kung-fu action.

The trailer doesn't dive into the game but instead showcases to future players the quick fast-paced action that looks like a whole lot of fun. Unfortunately, as much as this trailer would of hyped players, THQ Nordic has announced through a Twitter post that Biomutant is now delayed until the Summer of 2019. As we move closer to the release of NBA 2K19, a brand new trailer has been released showcasing the games 'My Career Mode'.

From the trailer we can see the main character attempting to progress through the Chinese Basketball League. Players will enjoy journeying through the league until an opportunity arrises where their main character is invited to the NBA.

The trailer titled 'The Way Back' showcases some well known actors, the following actors are seen within the trailer and will be included within the 'My Career' experience: Anthony Mackie (Avengers), Haley Joel Osment (Sixth Sense), Aldis Hodge (Straight Outta Compton), Rob Huebel (Bob's Burgers), and Michael Rapaport (Atypical). Telltale Games have announced that they will be debuting a port of The Walking Dead: Season One to the Nintendo Switch a week from now.

Telltale has taken to their website to bring all Nintendo Switch fans the good news. According to the post, Telltale will be launching what is called 'The Walking Dead: The Complete First Season' "will launch digitally on Switch on August 28, bringing the award-winning start to Clementine's journey to Nintendo's latest console."

The Switch port will be including all five original episodes and the DLC titled 400 days. To further clarify where the port is originating from, Telltale has said that "Both have been ported from last year's The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series Collection, which offered substantial visual and performance enhancements over previous editions." Telltale will be debuting The Walking Dead: The Complete First Season to the eShop on August 28, the title will be going for $24.99. The MOBA from Tencent titled Arena of Valor has had its Nintendo Switch launch month revealed, the title will debut sometime through September this year.

Tencents Arena of Valor will put players in a 5v5 arena that with the objective of destroying the opposing teams enemy players as well as their defense structures and then finally their base. Arena of Valor has already been launched on mobiles where it has picked up quite a bit of traction, Tencents Nintendo Switch edition will come with all the features the mobile game already has including a ranked system.

Tencent has released a press release addressing Arena of Valor coming to the Nintendo Switch, "Arena of Valor's quick and easy to learn but hard to master gameplay on the Switch is similar to its mobile counterpart, but the biggest new addition is that fans will have the option to play anyone in the world at any time via a global server. Players from different regions can play with each other regardless of which territory they are in or what eShop they purchased the game from."

Now that NVIDIA has officially unveiled its next-gen GeForce RTX 20 series graphics cards, we're finding out what games will have NVIDIA RTX support for real-time ray tracing.

We already know that some of the biggest games coming out in the next few months will have RTX support, including Battlefield V, Shadow of the Tomb Raider and Metro Exodus but the list is long, and there will be more games added in the near future. Not only that, but there are other games that use DLSS, which includes even more games.

DLSS uses the next-gen Turing Tensor Cores that perform deep neural network processing to provide Deep Learning Super-Sampling (DLSS) that taps deep learning technology and AI to provide improved rendering techniques making games that as NVIDIA puts it "crisp, smooth edges on rendered objects in games". Think PUBG and DLSS... winner winner, chicken dinner.

During GamesCom 2018, publisher Activision and developer FromSoftware have revealed 15 minutes of gameplay footage for their upcoming title Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.

IGN has posted a new video and it's 15 minutes of gameplay footage for Activision and FromSoftwares upcoming release titled Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. During the gameplay video we are subjected to around 10 minutes of actual gameplay footage that showcases the games setting, numerous enemies and plenty of combat.

For those that don't know, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice will give a different spin on a usual FromSoftware title. The main protagonist will be able to use height to his advantage, as well as construct prosthetic tools that better his chances of catching his enemies off guard. FromSoftware's upcoming title Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice will be released on March 22nd, 2019.

Much to the relief of crowdfunding backers, Ys Net announces that Shenmue III will launch in Fall 2019.

Despite raking in over $6.3 million in Kickstarter funds and securing a big publishing agreement with THQ Nordic's Deep Silver subsidiary arm, Shenmue III has had quite a few setbacks. The game was originally slated to release in 2017, but was delayed once to 2018, and again more recently to a nebulous 2019.

Now at Gamescom 2018 Deep Silver revealed the big news: Shenmue III will release August 27, 2019 on PS4 and PC. A new trailer accompanied the news, but the footage still looks rather rough despite Deep Silver's promises to "polish the quality of the game even further." Even though I grew up playing Shenmue on Sega's Dreamcast console I'm a bit iffy about Shenmue III living up to the immense hype.

Amazon will end its physical game pre-order discount on August 28, the company has confirmed, but a backup plan is in place.

One of the major benefits for Amazon Prime members will soon change. Instead of getting a 20% discount on new physical game pre-orders, Prime subscribers will now receive a $10 credit on game pre-orders. But only certain games will be eligible and you may have to wait "up to 35 days" for your rewards. At face value the $10 reward is slightly lower than the original discount (which equates to about $11.99, dropping the game's price down to $48.99) but the potential waiting period could be frustrating.

Capcom's latest Devil May Cry game will continue the series' tradition of slice-and-dice action when it releases in March 2019.

When Devil May Cry 5 was announced at E3 2018 I was so relieved it has the over-the-top craziness and all-out mayhem found in the DmC prequel. There's just something so enthralling and captivating about a suave demon hunter pulling off some absolutely bonkers tricks, and the sequel shows Nero in his prime.

In its latest gameplay footage, Capcom illustrated some of the wackiness we'll find in DMC5: Nero rides a rocket like a skateboard and sends it careening into a titanic baddy, only to celebrate with a hilarious finishing move, and then we see Dante decimating foes with hits motorcycle. Yeah, his motorcycle is a weapon.

Battlefield V may end up being a casualty of October's big rush of games, says Cowen & Company analyst Doug Creutz.

EA may have another Titanfall 2 situation on its hands--at least if one analyst's forecasts are accurate. According to games industry analyst Doug Creutz, Battlefield V has alarmingly low pre-orders compared to other October juggernauts like Black Ops 4 and Red Dead Redemption 2. "EA's Battlefield V currently appears to potentially be headed for serious disappointment," Mr. Creutz said in a message to investors, pointing to weak pre-sales of the game. "If we had to pick one game to be a casualty of the crowded October window, this would clearly be it."

But just how bad are Battlefield V's pre-orders? The firm notes BFV is about 85% behind its other major October competitors. Low pre-orders could affect overall sales of the game, the report suggests, making EA miss its ~14 million unit sales goal. "With a release date directly in between CoD and RDR, we worry that BFV could be headed for a similar fate as 2016's Titanfall 2, which got squeezed out by its launch date directly between Battlefield 1 and Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare," Mr. Creutz said.

Rockfish Games have announced that their roguelike 3D singleplayer space shooter, Everspace will be flying onto the Nintendo Switch.

Rockfish Games has said that they believe Everspace will be the perfect game for the Nintendo Switch platform. Players that use the portability of the Nintendo Switch will completment the titles gameplay, as the title is a single player space adventure, gamers will love the pick up and put down freedom.

Everspace will be arrving on the Switch with the downloadable expansion titled Encounters. This has transformed the title into what is now called Everspace: Stellar Edition, the game is planned for release this December and will be coming in the form a physical and digital release. Team Cherry has announced a physical copy release for their title Hollow Knight, players will be able to get hands-on sometime next year.

According to a Twitter post, Team Cherry are working closely with Skybound Games to bring future Hollow Knight players a physical release of the title. Skybound Games and Team Cherry are planning on releasing physical copies of Hollow Knight on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and even the Nintendo Switch.

During GamesCom 2018, Focus Home Interactive has revealed the released date for Space Hulk: Tactics, the title will release on October 9th.

Space Hulk:Tactics is a adaptation of the classic table-top game Space Hulk. Space Hulk tactics is set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe and will immerse players within a new innovative card system that will allow for participants to have better control over their forces as they slay their way through the two non-linear narrative-driven campaigns.

Players will have a "A full customisation system is available across four Space Marine chapters and four Genestealer Hive Fleets, letting you design your force down to the last shoulder plate or weapon hilt. A robust mission editor, inspired by the clip-together nature of building scenarios in the board game, means you can design, share, and play your own maps quickly and easily."

Square Enix the publisher for Life is Strange 2 has taken the liberty of revealing more of the title through a brand new trailer and a few screenshots.

Players in Life is Strange 2 will be experiencing the tale of two brothers named Sean and Daniel Diaz. Aged 16 and 9 years old respectively, players will be faced with numerous tough decisions that will throw in the balance of what it truly means to be brothers. According to Raoul Barbet, Co-Creative Director at DONTNOD Entertainment, the developers "have worked hard with the original team to keep what I personally loved to craft in the first game: the mood, the cinematographic work and of course, the music."

The other Co-Creative Director, Michel Koch addressed the developers excitement for players to meet the two brand new characters Sean and Daniel, here is what he had to say "After the exciting adventures of Max and Chloe, we are extremely happy that you will all soon meet Sean and Daniel Diaz, our new protagonists, and follow them on their journey. We love diving back into the Life is Strange universe along with our lead writer, Jean-Luc Cano, to create our new story and characters." Life is Strange 2 is planned for release on September 27th.

Devolver Digital, the publisher behind the indie smash hit Broforce has announced that their title will be arriving on the handheld console on September 6th.

Devolver Digital has brought numerous indie titles to the Nintendo Switch this year as apart of their #SummerofDevolver campaign, if you happened to miss the publishers other titles they are listed as the following: Advanced Gungeons & Draguns update for Enter the Gunegon, Crossing Souls, Not a Hero and Minit. The publisher also announced that their title 'The Messenger' will be launching on August 30th.

We now finally have a release date for Broforce, in my opinion they have saved the best one for last, Devolver Digital has announced that Broforce will be arriving on the Nintendo Switch on September 6th. If you happen to be unfamiliar with Broforce, here is a quick description of the title: "When evil threatens the world, the world calls on Broforce - an under-funded, over-powered paramilitary organization dealing exclusively in excessive force. Brace your loins with up to four players to run 'n' gun as dozens of different bros and eliminate the opposing terrorist forces that threaten our way of life. "

CD Projekt RED's games may roll out on mobiles sometime in the future.

Today CD Projekt RED announced it's bought a majority stake in iPhone and iPad mobile game dev Spokko, who is now working on an unannounced mobile project based on the games-maker's popular IP slate.

Before you get disappointed, Spokko exec Maciej Weiss says this new mobile title will be an "advanced and ambitious project," rather than a "casual game." We could very well see The Witcher games roll out on higher-end smartphones and tablets, or even a new adventure based on Geralt's story arc. Or maybe even Cyberpunk 2077 mobile?

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice will launch March 22, 2019, the game's official Steam page reveals.

From Software took gamers by surprise at E3 2018 with its new "samurai souls" game Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, kicking off a new wave of hype from fans worldwide. The devs say that Sekiro will be more vertical based and focuses strongly on agility over the traditional roll-and-dodge approach in Dark Souls, but that same tough-as-nails difficulty will be intact. "They're going to get that really high level challenge that's probably even more challenging than previous From games," said From Software's Hidetaka Miyazaki.

Although Activision will publish the game, it'll pop up on Steam versus the Battle.net storefront (Activision typically only sells its wholly-owned IPs on the platform). With a March 2019 launch the game will be a part of Activision-Blizzard's Calendar 2019 timeline, and if things go well, we could see even more From Software-Activision team-ups in the future.
