NVIDIA has caused a tsunami of news with its numerous announcements following its CES 2025 keynote being wrapped up. The company has officially unveiled Reflex 2 Frame Warp, and how it will pair with the new family of RTX 50 series graphics cards.

NVIDIA first released Reflex in 2020, and for those that don't know the RTX feature is designed to reduce the latency between a player input and what appears on screen. More specifically, enabling Reflex synchronizes the CPU and GPU rendering pipeline to provide lower latency between, for example, a mouse click that initiates a gun being fired in-game, and the gun being fired appearing on the screen. These are milliseconds we are talking about here, but when in competitive first-person-shooter titles sometimes life or death can be determined by just a few miliseconds.

NVIDIA's Reflex 2 Frame Warp builds upon the latency reduction of NVIDIA Reflex, and further reduces latency by a significant margin. For example, NVIDIA states Embark Studios' THE FINALS measured 56ms of latency without Reflex being enabled. With Reflex Low Latency enabled the latency was reduced to just 27ms, and with Reflex 2 Frame Warp, latency was reduced to just 14ms. That's a reduction of 75% when compared to no Reflex being enabled. The same applies for Riot Games' Valorant, but the results are even better.

DOOM: The Dark Ages from veteran studio id Software is one of 2025's most anticipated games. It continues the fast-paced single-player FPS action of DOOM (2016) and DOOM Eternal.

NVIDIA just finished its CES 2025 keynote where it unveiled its new family of RTX 50 series graphics cards, and to go along with that announcement the GPU maker has published several press releases detailing features RTX 50 series owners will be able to enjoy.

Among the tsunami of NVIDIA news, team green has detailed how each week for many, many weeks now games are being integrated with RTX technologies such as DLSS, ray-traced effects, and other RTX features.

The weekly integration has increased the total number of #RTXOn games and apps to a whopping 700, and according to NVIDIA, the RTX 50 series and its new RTX exclusive features be available at launch on 75 games and apps.

At CES 2025, NVIDIA announced the GeForce RTX 50 Series, headlined by the flagship GeForce RTX 5090 for $1999 and a mid-range GeForce RTX 5070 with RTX 4090 performance levels for $549. One of the significant new features is DLSS 4, and the new DLSS Multi Frame Generation boosts performance by up to 8X compared to native rendering - incredible stuff.

Even though DLSS Multi Frame Generation is exclusive to the new GeForce RTX 50 Series and its next-gen Tensor Cores with 2.5X AI performance, the entire DLSS suite of RTX technologies, from Super Resolution to the existing Frame Generation, is getting a major overhaul and upgrade with DLSS 4.

DLSS 3 Frame Generation is being enhanced for increased performance and reduced memory usage, which means less VRAM is required to run games with DLSS 3 enabled on the GeForce RTX 40 Series. Even the GeForce RTX 30 Series and the now-aging GeForce RT 20 Series are getting DLSS improvements courtesy of DLSS 4. Here's a handy chart from NVIDIA breaking it down.

Among the selection of new GPUs was the RTX 5070, which easily stole the show for its impressive price of $549 and its touted performance of an RTX 4090. According to NVIDIA, the new middle-of-the-pack GPU will be as powerful as a RTX 4090, which retailed for $1599. But how is this possible? NVIDIA says it will come down to DLSS 4 and new MultiFrame Generation technology, which will provide an enormous performance boost of 8x compared to native rendering.

Now, you are probably thinking, "how many games will have DLSS 4?" According to NVIDIA atotal of 75 games will have support for DLSS 4 at launch, and this selection of games aren't games nobody has heard of as it includes popular titles such as Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, the upcoming DOOM Dark Ages, Cyberpunk 2077, Stalker 2, Silent Hill 2, God of War Ragnarok, and many more.

NVIDIA has finally revealed the GeForce RTX 50 Series and the Blackwell generation will launch with DLSS 4, which introduces DLSS Multi Frame Generation. How does this differ from DLSS 3's Frame Generation? Well, where DLSS 3's AI generated a single frame, DLSS 4's Multi Frame Generation AI renders three.

It also lowers the VRAM requirement, thanks to GeForce RTX 50 Series' 5th Generation Tensor Cores, which deliver up to 2.5X more AI processing performance. With Super Resolution and Ray Reconstruction, path-traced games like Alan Wake 2 and Black Myth: Wukong will run at 240 FPS - a staggering 8.2X increase over native rendering.

AI is all about making the impossible possible, and path-tracing or full ray-tracing is so hardware-intensive that it's only possible thanks to DLSS and AI technologies. Not only that, but DLSS 4 is coming to 75 games and apps on day one - and, yes, it looks like it will be exclusive to the GeForce RTX 50 Series.

NVIDIA has announced at CES 2025, and a via an update on its website how NVIDIA ACE will provide a next-generation gaming experience through "autonomous game characters".

NVIDIA explained via its blog post that ACE characters will be able to plan, perceive, and "act like human players," and even become a players' teammate. In fact, NVIDIA will be integrating its ACE characters into PUBG sometime later this year, which will enable gamers to queue up with a "PUBG Ally," which both NVIDIA and PUBG publisher Krafton state is the "world's first Co-Playable Character (CPC)."

How will this work? The PUBG Ally will utilize all of the tools a human player uses, with NVIDIA writing that PUBG Ally's will be able to communicate in-game using the common lingo, provide players with strategic recommendations in real-time, find and share loot, drive vehicles, and, of course, engage in combat with other players.

NVIDIA has formally announced the GeForce RTX 50 Series, powered by Blackwell and incredible new AI rendering features like Neural Shaders and DLSS 4. The flagship GeForce RTX 5090, presented by NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang at CES 2025 in sleek, cutting-edge Founders Edition form, delivers a 2X performance increase over the RTX 40 Series and will ship with an MSRP of $1999.

NVIDIA has unleashed its new GeForce RTX 50 Laptop GPUs, with the new Blackwell Max-Q designs detailed by NVIDIA promising some huge efficiency, performance, and innovations coming to gaming laptops in 2025.

The company says that its new Blackwell Max-Q chips have been designed from the ground up for efficiency, delivering a "massive leap" in performance and battery life. NVIDIA says that there are a number of Max-Q innovations in the Blackwell architecture that combine to make this possible.

NVIDIA starts with Advanced Power Gating technologies that greatly reduce power by rapidly toggling unused parts of the GPU, with Blackwell having "significantly faster" low-power states. Low Latency Sleep allows Blackwell Max-Q GPUs to go to sleep more often, saving power even when the GPU is being used. This reduces power for gaming, Small Language Models (SLMs), and other creator and AI workloads on battery.

NVIDIA has just announced its new GeForce RTX 50 "Blackwell" GPUs in both desktop and laptop form, with the new Blackwell GPU architecture supporting the new DisplayPort 2.1b specification.

VESA announced the new DisplayPort 2.1b specification hours before at CES 2025, in which it collaborated with NVIDIA on the new DP2.1b UHBR20 standard. NVIDIA posted a detailed article deep diving on its new GeForce RTX 50 series GPUs, noting that Blackwell has also been enhanced with PCIe Gen5 and DisplayPort 2.1b UHBR20, capable of driving displays at up to a mind-boggling 8K 165Hz.

This is thanks to multiple innovations inside and around Blackwell, which features up to 92 billion transistors, up to 32GB of super-fast GDDR7 memory (on the flagship ultra-enthusiast GeForce RTX 5090), new Blackwell Tensor Cores, Blackwell-enhanced RT Cores, next-gen DLSS Multi Frame Generation, and new Blackwell-powered AI upscaling with DLSS 4.

NVIDIA Project DIGITS is described as the 'World's Smallest AI Supercomputer,' a desk-sized rig with the new NVIDIA GB10 Grace Blackwell Superchip. This thing is an absolute beast, offering a staggering 1 Petaflop of AI computing performance at FP4 precision, and it's capable of running 200B, that's 200 billion, parameter models.

"AI will be mainstream in every application for every industry. With Project DIGITS, the Grace Blackwell Superchip comes to millions of developers," said Jensen Huang, founder and CEO of NVIDIA. "Placing an AI supercomputer on the desks of every data scientist, AI researcher and student empowers them to engage and shape the age of AI."

The new GB10 Superchip is a system-on-chip (SoC) based on the NVIDIA Grace Blackwell architecture. It sports the latest generation of CUDA Cores and fifth-generation Tensor Cores, connected via an NVLink-C2C interconnect.

VESA has just announced plans to fix cable problems with updated DisplayPort 2.1b specification, allowing for active cables that are 3x longer at up to 3m long.

VESA is now working with members to introduce new "DP80LL" cables (DisplayPort 80 Low Loss) that are good for enabling up to 4-lane UHBRR20 speeds and a maximum throughput of 80Gbps, all over new active cables that can be as long as 3m. We should expect the new DisplayPort 2.1b-ready DP80LL cables to hit in spring 2025.

VESA has been "actively collaborating" with NVIDIA on the new DisplayPort 2.1b specification, where NVIDIA's new GeForce RTX 50 series GPUs will support DP2.1b including UHBR20 across new DP80LL cables. Microsoft's next-generation Xbox console will be released in 2026 and is called "Xbox Prime" according to the latest rumors.

The next-generation Xbox Prime console was leaked by TheGhostOfHope on X, who mostly posts leaks about Call of Duty, where he said that the next-gen Xbox console "is still coming in 2026 and will be called Xbox Prime". He continued, saying it was unclear if that's just a codename for the new Xbox or the actual name.

The leaker has also heard that Infinity Ward's next-gen Call of Duty game -- which should be Modern Warfare 4 -- is still being considered as a day-one release for Microsoft's next-gen Xbox Prime console. The post on X was to a reply from his original post on May 18, 2024 where he said at the time "hearing from trusted sources that the next Xbox is planned to be released in late 2026. Very likely that COD2026 is a day one release for it".

Dell has officially killed its XPS branding in favor of Apple-esque branding, with the introduction of its new Dell, Dell Pro, and Dell Pro Max branding unveiled at CES 2025.

The company has introduced the new Dell Pro Max 14 and 16 laptops that will debut later this year, after we had leaks of the Dell Pro Max 18 workstation laptop not too long ago. The new Dell Pro Max 14/16 laptops feature high-end performance in a portable, lightweight, and modern design.

The new Dell Pro Max 16 laptop features a 16-inch display with up to QHD+ resolution, support for NVIDIA RTX 2000 workstation graphics, and enough power to drive AI inferencing, rendering, and creative applications. On the CPU side, Dell will be using up to Intel's new Core Ultra 9 "Arrow Lake" CPUs. The Dell Pro Max 14 drops the GPU down from workstation level to an NVIDIA RTX 5000-class Pro series GPU.

The new Hisense 116-inch TriChroma Mini-LED TV has 10,000 nits of peak brightness, it also packs Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, and IMAX Enhanced certification. Hisense has crammed in a 6.2.2-channel surround sound system with visible side speakers, while other speakers are placed around the 116-inch frame to create a 240-degree sound field.

Razer has just unveiled its next-generation Blade 16 gaming laptop with quite the interesting CPU + GPU combo: it uses the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 "Strix Point" APU alongside NVIDIA's new GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU which boasts an incredible 24GB of GDDR7 memory.

I spotted a post on X from a GTA 6 leaker that provided some details from some light playtesting they did, saying that the world feels "very, and I mean very alive" something that "will make the gameplay even more next level". How exactly? The leaker says that everything (90% or so) has a physical place in the game, meaning that debris, litter, and more will react to both you (the player) and the world of GTA 6 around you.

GTA 6 reportedly has maintenance and cleaning crews that you'll be interacting with the in-game world, and what you (the player) does in that world. The leaker says that after something like a big crash that leaves debris and broken poles on the street, traffic jams will naturally occur until those teams clean it up.
