Fans will be waiting quite a while for Kingdom Hearts III and Final Fantasy VII: Remake.

In our recent report, we outlined Square Enix's fiscal year projections and what that means for its content slate, iterating that anticipated games like Kingdom Hearts III and Final Fantasy VII: Remake may not release until 2019 at the earliest. Now Gematsu noticed an interesting tidbit in Square Enix's financials that says FF7R and KH3 actually may not release until 2020.

"This slide shows our release lineup for FY2017 as well as for FY2018 and beyond. We plan to launch each of these upcoming titles in the next three years or so," Square Enix CEO Yosuke Matsuda said in the company's financial report in regards to the above slide.

Ubisoft today dropped Far Cry 5's announcement trailer, and revealed a release date to boot, giving us a good look at the upcoming shooter.

Contrary to our predictions, Far Cry 5 will launch late in Ubisoft's fiscal year pipeline on February 27, 2018. The fifth chapter in the franchise sees Far Cry coming to America for the first time ever, and takes place in Hope County, Montana, a fictional rural community ruled by chaotic religious fanatics led by the game's principal antagonist, Joseph Seed.

Far Cry 5's reveal trailer certainly feels a lot like Grand Theft Auto V mixed with a splash of Just Cause. The trailer itself was made with real in-engine footage, hinting the game will have a new level of dynamism not seen before in previous Far Cry games. What's quite interesting is that players actually get to make their own hero from scratch--you can customize your avatar as you see fit, and aren't locked to one preset type.

While we are still waiting for the launch of Apple's flagships for this year, and still don't actually know whether or not the company will call their new phone the iPhone 7S or iPhone 8, a new report has emerged regarding the iPhone 9. Yes, the iPhone 9, which should be Apple's 2018 flagship.

According to the report, the iPhone 9 will come in two sizes, presumably the iPhone 9 and iPhone 9 Plus, but the screen sizes will be bigger than what we are used to.

The report claims that the smaller iPhone will have a 5.28-inch display, while the larger will feature a huge 6.46-inch one.

Computex 2017 - Aerocool is the first to market with a gaming chair that lights up, unveiling their new Project 7 gaming chair with cable lighting that emits a beautiful sky blue that gels perfectly with the Project 7 colors.

You'll be able to adjust the lighting through an independent controller that's placed on the side of the Project 7 gaming chair, with a light cable that Aerocool has built into the edge roll stitching.

Aerocool has crafted its new Project 7 gaming chair with a black and blue design that features moulded foam pads in the seat and backrest, while providing 4D adjustable armrests.

Capcom isn't giving up on the Nintendo Switch after all.

Capcom today announced that Monster Hunter XX is coming to the Nintendo Switch console.

The publisher didn't provide any official details about the game, but it should be a solid port of the upcoming 3DS title, and there's no confirmation of a North American release. However, Monster Hunter XX is already out on the 3DS in Japan, so we may see a localized port. Nintendo will assuredly showcase the game during its E3 2017 livestream event.

PC gamers weren't happy when Bungie's Luke Smith confirmed Destiny 2 on PC won't have dedicated servers, but that's actually half of the story. The studio chimes in to explain how Destiny 2's online networking works on PC.

According to Bungie's Matt Segur, Engineering Lead on Destiny 2, the PC version of the upcoming shooter actually has a "unique networking model" that's a hybrid of P2P and client-based servers. "We've seen a lot of people asking about how the networking model works for Destiny 2. Many are concerned by our announcement last week that Destiny 2 doesn't have dedicated servers. While that's useful shorthand, the full answer is more complex because Destiny has a unique networking model."

Remember that while Destiny 2 will use Blizzard's Battle.net client to handle the game's registration and social features, the game's PC servers will be hosted and run by Bungie themselves. In fact, Segur says that Bungie and Activision are investing in new server infrastructures such as cloud servers to build "unique technology" to host Destiny 2.

When SEGA said it plans to remaster, re-release and revive classic IPs, what are some of the first games you think of? Skies of Arcadia maybe? Virtua Fighter? Well how about Seaman? SEGA seems to think we all need a little more Seaman in our lives.

Seaman, one of the weirdest AI simulation/pet games ever released, is apparently getting a new sequel. Seaman's original creator Yutaka "Yoot" Saito just teased a new game in the bizarre franchise. In fact, Saito teased a website called www.seaman.ai, which is "under construction," further hinting at a sequel.

When it was released on the Dreamcast in 1999, Seaman was a big hit in Japan, spawning a direct sequel on PS2. The "game" was actually more of a simulated pet maintenance type of experience that used voice commands via the Dreamcast's microphone. Players would care for the weird specimens and even talk to them as they grew and evolved. The Seaman creatures had a marginal AI and could act on their own, leading to some weird interactions to say the least.

Sony earns the bulk of its revenue from Games and Network Services, including PS4 sales and subscriptions to popular services like PlayStation Plus, but most PS4 owners actually don't buy into the digital service.

At it's recent Investor's Day briefing, Sony released some new metrics to underline the future of its games business. These slides actually reveal something quite interesting: out of the 70 million Monthly Active Users (MAUs), only 26.4 million gamers keep their PlayStation Plus subscriptions active for the full year. That means roughly 37% of active PS4 users buy into yearly PS Plus subscriptions. Despite this seemingly low number, subscriptions like PS Plus are quite lucrative for the Japanese electronics giant, and contributed to the total $14.7 billion in sales and operating revenue the Games and Network Services segment earned last fiscal year.

Sony has consistently doubled-down on subscription-based services and transformed its PlayStation 4 console as the nexus for its myriad digital services, offering subscriptions like PlayStation Plus and PlayStation Now for games, PlayStation Vue network TV broadcasts, its PlayStation Video and PlayStation Music storefronts and streaming services, and its ULTRA 4K streaming service.

Capcom wants to strategically tap its wealth of IPs for re-releases, remasters, and sequels, but it may not have to manpower to do so.

In a recent interview with Japanese publication Toyokaizei, Capcom President and Chief Operating Officer Haruhiro Tsujimoto confirms the company will pursue revitalizing dormant franchises, and we may see classic and even retro games make a resurgence. "I want to proceed with the restoration of dormant titles, but there are many problems that I have to deal with," Mr. Tsujimoto said.

Capcom's president goes on to iterate that the company is busy doing lots of things at once, including working on IPs, sequels, mobile games, and analyzing data--all on top of trying to find ways to resurrect old IPs.

Capcom, who's Monster Hunter series is one of the best-selling franchises on Nintendo's 3DS handheld, may be unsure about supporting its new Switch handheld-console platform unless its newly released Street Fighter game performs well.

In a recent interview with Japanese games publication Toyokezai, Capcom President and Chief Operating Officer Haruhiro Tsujimoto discussed the company's future plans in regards to Nintendo Switch support. "As far as the Nintendo Switch, we released Ultra Street Fighter II in May, so we will consider our response [to the platform] while looking at the situation."

Mr. Tsujimoto's words can be taken in a number of ways; first, Capcom may shy away from the Switch if Ultra Street Fighter II doesn't sell very well.

Xiaomi has launched a long-rumored successor to the last year's Xiaomi Mi Max - the Mi Max 2.

The Mi Max 2 is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 625 processor and comes with 4GB of RAM, and 64GB or 128GB of internal storage.

The device features a huge 6.44-inch display, as previously rumored. The Mi Max 2 comes with a 12MP main camera and a 5MP front shooter.

When we first reported that AMD would be calling its now current-gen processors Ryzen, the name just didn't stick at first - but here we are, with a slew of Ryzen processors that are starting to make Intel squirm.

But according to a new trademark filing, it looks like AMD is working on new products called Kyzen, Aragon, Pharos, Promethean, Zenso, and CoreAmp. All of these product names were trademarked in March, with a few of them already released. What can we expect from these new, interestingly named AMD products?

Well, Kyzen sounds just like Ryzen - so maybe this is a new CPU from AMD, or maybe even a new APU. I have a 'cryo' feel from Kyzen, so maybe we're looking at a heavily overclockable Ryzen processor that will be released as Kyzen? Who knows. Next up we have Aragon - very Lord of the Rings. Promethean will most likely end up as a chipset, as AMD named their Ryzen chipset Promontory - with Promethean being very close to that.

Oukitel has announced its new edition to the K series - the K10000 Pro. The phone is the successor to the K10000, launched back in 2015.

The K10000 Pro comes with an insane 10,000 mAh battery, same as its predecessor. Back in 2015, when Oukitel launched the K10000, the company said that it could fully charge three iPhone 6s Plus units and still have 10% battery life left.

Considering the battery size, the phone is a bit bulky, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's ugly. The K10000 Pro has a 5.5-inch 1080 x 1920 display with capacitive navigation keys embedded below it.

ZOTAC is preparing for Computex 2017 by announcing its new GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Mini graphics card, which comes in at just 8.2 inches (21cm) long.

The company is releasing the new GTX 1080 Ti Mini in two flavors: air-cooled, and watercooled.

The watercooled version features ZOTAC's ArcticStorm full cover water block, while the air-cooled version features a dual-fan cooling solution. Both versions are dual-slot, which is great to see in something so compact.

Sony might have a hard time competing with tech giants like Apple and Samsung, but they are not giving up just yet.

According to a new report, the company plans to announce two new flagships by the end of the year.

The Xperia blog writes that Sony confirmed this at an investors conference in Tokyo. The two Xperia flagship should be announced sometime in the second half of the year.

MSI is stepping into some interesting territory with the tease of its upcoming GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Gaming X 11G with a USB Type-C port, making it the world's first graphics card with a USB Type-C port. The reasoning? I really don't know.

I really don't know what MSI is going for here, but the only reason I can think of is that it's just one of those 'because we can' moves. I don't see the point of a USB Type-C connector on my graphics card, but there would be some prosumers that might use the USB Type-C connector on it, especially if their motherboard didn't have one on-board - so maybe I could charge my Galaxy S8 on it? Yay?

The Nokia 3310 was the biggest hit at this year's MWC in Barcelona. The return of this retro device was welcomed by fans around the world. Although a pretty basic phone, many expressed their desire to get it.

And now, the Nokia 3310 is finally available. That is if you are in the UK. The phone went on sale in Carphone Warehouse and Vodafone stores at a price of £50 (around $65).

The phone still isn't available for online purchase, but that should change soon. The device will also be available in Germany on May 26th at a price of 60 euros, followed by Netherlands and Belgium.

It was only two months ago that I asked MSI where their GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Lightning graphics card was, and it seems my wish has been granted. Enter the upcoming GeForce GTX 1080 Ti LIGHTNING Z graphics card, which will be debuted next week in Taipei at Computex 2017.

Intel is preparing its 10C/20T processor to directly compete against AMD's Ryzen 7 1800X and their upcoming ThreadRipper CPUs that will feature 16C/32T of CPU power, but Intel could have it in the bag with its Core i9-7900X.

According to new benchmarks, the Core i9-7900X will be clocked at 3.3/4.3GHz for base/boost, respectively. This is a huge deal for Skylake-X, as the IPC performance at 4.3GHz and 10C/20T of power should pummel every other CPU into dust. Better yet, SiSoft's benchmark picked up the CPU as 4.0GHz base clock and 4.5GHz boost, which would be absolutely insane - especially for a 10-core processor.

We should expect 13.75MB of L3 cache, 1MB L2 cache per core (10MB total), and a 175W TDP for the upcoming Core i9-7900X. We should expect Intel to unleash its new Skylake-X parts at Computex next week, alongside the new X299 chipset and a slew of new motherboards.

For Sony Pictures' 'Spider-Man' franchise it looks like the third time's the charm. The studio has today released a brand new trailer for the upcoming feature, which looks better and better with each new look.

Starring Tom Holland as a younger version of Peter Parker/ Spider-Man, Michael Keaton as the villainous Vulture alongside Marisa Tomei, Logan Marshall-Green, and Zendaya, 'Spider-Man: Homecoming' represents the third feature film reboot of the character in just 16 years, but the first under the Marvel films banner. While Sony Pictures retains full control over the property, President of Production for Marvel Studios Kevin Feige has jumped aboard to oversee the project and shepherd it into the wider Marvel Cinematic Universe.

'Spider-Man: Homecoming' will sling its way to 2D, 3D and IMAX cinemas worldwide from July 6.
