SpaceX and Tesla CEO Elon Musk, the richest individual on Earth, is attempting to buy Twitter and has reportedly shifted his strategy.

In a new report from the New York Post, Musk's previous offer to purchase Twitter for $43 billion has now resulted in Musk searching for financial backing in the deal. The new deal is described as "complex" and involves Musk putting forward $10 - $15 billion of his own money, which is a large increase from the $3.4 billion in Twitter stock he currently owns. A further $20 billion will come from outside investors who will together own more equity in Twitter than Musk.

While outside investors will own more equity in Twitter than Musk, the Tesla and SpaceX CEO will still remain in control of the company being the single largest shareholder. Individuals close to the situation have told the New York Post that Musk is also willing to borrow against his current state in the company, which would raise additional funds if necessary.

Zack Snyder has just shared the very first images of his "space opera" exclusive for Netflix, with the images dropping from the first day of shooting Rebel Moon.

Snyder tweeted the images to his official Twitter account, simply teasing "Day 1 #RebelMoon. It's begun". The shots give us a beautiful look at Djimon Hounsou (who plays General Titus), and perfectly displays why Snyder and his team have the best costume designers in the business.

Rebel Moon will be an expansive franchise after a bigger deal with Netflix was inked, as it originally started as Snyder's pitch for a possible Star Wars movie, but with a darker style. Production on Rebel Moon is expected to run through to the end of the year, and will be split into two movies.

The Ryzen 9 5950X was $800, now $520 -- a discount of a huge $280. The Ryzen 9 5900X was $550, with $180 discount it's now available for $370 while the Ryzen 7 5800X was $450 with $130 off, down to $320.

AMD delayed the launch of its RDNA 2 refresh GPUs from... well... right now... until May 10. But now it seems that the RDNA 2 refresh GPUs are not a refresh, but a replacement of the current Radeon RX 6000 series GPUs.

The news is coming from Hassan Mujtaba at Wccftech, who tweeted: "It seems like AIBs will stop making 6600/6700/6900 XT cards and focus on the new 6650/6750/6950 XT series instead. So RDNA 2 refresh is looking more like a replacement rather than a higher-end alternative to existing models".

AMD's new Instinct MI210 accelerator is now out in the wild in Japan, with the PCIe version of the GPU that features 64GB of HBM2e memory costing over $15,000.

ASRock is preparing its new Radeon RX 6400 Challenger ITX graphics card, a new Navi 24-powered ITX card that has no PCIe power connector.

The new custom PowerColor Radeon RX 6400 Challenger will use the Navi 24 GPU that's made on TSMC's new 6nm process node, with a dual-slot design, and 4GB of GDDR6 memory on a 64-bit memory interface. There is no PCIe power connector, which means we should see power consumption at 53W, great for HTPC machines.

Netflix has lost subscribers for the first time in 11 years and its stock is currently plummeting.

Netflix today reported disappointing Q1 results and subscription growth has dropped. The company lost 203,000 paid subscribers across its three most important worldwide regions, including the United States, EMEA, and Latin America.

Netflix now has 221.6 million active subscribers, down from the 221.8 million reported in Q4 2021, which was also a miss. The company attributes the loss to factors like account sharing, economical issues, COVID-19 disruptions, and worldwide problems like the war in Ukraine.

Nintendo just dropped a new Xenoblade Chronicles 3 trailer that showcases combat, story beats, and officially confirms a July release date for the RPG. Uncharted series visionary Amy Hennig is working on a new Star Wars game under her studio Skydance New Media. Official details on the project are slim, but Hennig says the Star Wars game will be a "richly cinematic action-adventure game" with an all-original storyline not previously featured in other franchise media, films, TV shows, or books.

CD Projekt delivered its second-highest earnings of all time in throughout 2021 despite a substantial drop in Cyberpunk 2077 unit sales.

Regardless of heated controversy and game delays, 2021 was another big year for CD Projekt. The Polish games-maker generated 888 million PLN in sales throughout the year, the second-highest earnings in company history. Chief financial officer Piotr Nielubowicz says Cyberpunk was the "most important source of revenues."

NASA's Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter (MRO) satellite orbiting Mars has captured another piece of NASA equipment on the surface of the Red Planet.

An image captured by the MRO's High Resolution Imaging Science Experiment (HiRISE) shows the InSight Mars Lander about three and half years after it first landed on the planet in November 2018. The right half portion of the above image shows InSight as it was on March 9th, 2022, compared with how it was after landing on the left.

In the image taken following the landing, you can see a dark blast zone created during the landing. In the ensuing years, especially since a recent storm in January 2022, InSight and its surrounding blast zone has been covered with Martian dust.

A study on the treatment titled "Impact of Histotripsy on Development of Intrahepatic Metastases in a Rodent Liver Tumor Model" has been published in the journal Cancers.

Researchers from the University of Michigan have developed a noninvasive sound technology capable of breaking down liver tumors in rats, killing cancer cells, and spurring the immune system to prevent the further spread of cancer.
