Elon Musk pulling out of buying Twitter has turned the social networking giant into a "shit show internally", according to a source inside of the company reports Wired.

Twitter employees have been speaking with Wired "on condition of anonymity because they aren't authorized to talk to the media", with the first saying: "Twitter is a shit show internally; I can confirm that for you right now, without a doubt".

Another said: "there's no strong leadership at the moment", a third source said: "the entire company is running on autopilot". The mess continues, with a fourth source saying: "I expect it is going to be a mess. I'd like to see someone hold Elon's feet to the fire because I think it sets a risky precedent to allow him to meddle so much, drive down the stock, then pull out". Another source added: "We've been told nothing by senior management".

Intel's next-gen "Raptor Canyon" NUC has been teased with its new "Shrike Bay" Compute Element, which will debut after Intel has released its new 13th Gen Core "Raptor Lake" CPUs.

The new Intel "Raptor Canyon" NUC leak is coming from some leaked documents and roadmap on the Intel NUC subreddit, shared by @Harukaze5719 on Twitter. Intel's new 13th Gen Core "Raptor Lake" CPUs will arrive later this year, ushering in the new "Raptor Canyon" NUC that will support the K-series Core i9, Core i7, and Core i5 processors.

Intel's new NUC 13 Extreme "Raptor Canyon" will offer the Intel Core i9-13900K, Core i7-13700K, or Core i5-13700K processors, all unlocked and ready for overclocking. Better yet, the Intel NUC 13 Extreme "Raptor Canyon" will accept full-sized PCIe 5.0-capable GPUs inside of its 13.9L chassis.

Apple's first-generation AR/MR headset is still a while away, and the second-generation AR/MR headset is even further away... but now analyst Ming-Chi Kuo is coming out with some shipping estimates that Apple "may reach" 10 million units "as soon as 2025 or 2026".

The key optical component of the Apple AR/MR headset are the high ASP Pancake lens, which the analyst says "directly affecting the visual experience and form factor design". But it will be the second-generation Apple AR/MR headset that "may have more high-end and more-affordable models".

Apple's second-gen AR/MR headset will reportedly launch in the first half of 2025, with component suppliers to begin shipping in the second half of 2024 says Kuo. The first-gen Apple AR/MR headset will use Pancake lens supplied by Genuis (the main supplier) and Young Optics (the second supplier). Kuo says that GIS is the "Pancake lens lamination supplier" while the "above suppliers are expected to be in the second-generation supply chain'.

Bitcoin's price has been on a slow decline since November last year, when it reached its current all-time high of $69,000.

The price of Bitcoin has been trickling down for all of 2022, but fell off a metaphorical cliff in June when it dived by 47% to reach the $20,000 price point. With many investors and traders pulling their money out of the seemingly collapsing market, the price is still continuing to decline, causing fear-uncertainty and doubt to plague the space.

According to a recent report by Bloomberg, which surveyed 950 Wall Street investors, the price of Bitcoin is more likely to fall to $10,000 than to rally back up to $30,000, says 60% of those investors. The remaining 40% of surveyed investors believe that Bitcoin is more likely to have a slight bull run-up to the $30,000 mark.

SpaceX is currently testing a prototype of its Super Heavy rocket booster that is expected to be what gets the company's massive Starship off the ground and into space.

Elon Musk's pioneering company was testing Super Heavy Booster 7 prototype on Monday, July 11, with engine firing beginning at 5:20 pm at Starbase, SpaceX's South Texas facility. Shortly after firing up the engines, an explosion shook the entire SpaceX facility, which was followed by an eruption of flames that licked up the sides of the massive 165-foot-tall Starship.

One Twitter user asked Musk if this explosion was intentional, Musk quickly replied and said, "Yes. Booster engine testing." However, the SpaceX CEO then deleted that tweet and followed up with a reply to a video of the incident by NASASpaceflight where he said, "yeah, actually not good. Team is assessing damage". Notably, Musk explained that cryogenic fuel is a "challenge", "as it evaporates to create fuel-air explosion risk in a partially oxygen atmosphere like Earth." Furthermore, Musk said that he would give updates later.

A TikTok teen has taken approximately 1.4 million of frog spawn and decided to breed them to create a frog army.

The TikTok user goes by the name "ThinFrog" and created a series of taking the large quantity of frog spawn and breeding them in a backyard pool. In recent videos posted to the TikTok page the UK-based teen reveals that the frogs had hatched into tadpoles, and then eventually into small frogs. According to the video, one of the surrounding neighbors had left due to the immense amount of frogs.

Tierra Curry, a conservation biologist at the Center for Biological Diversity has said that the release of more than a million frogs into an environment for a stunt "makes me cringe", as it actually hurts the animals that they are releasing and can have wider impacts on animals living in the surrounding environment. "Instead of helping, [These TikTok users] are actually hurting the animals they're releasing and all the animals in the environment that they're releasing them into - it's creating a vector for disease and invasive species," said Curry.

Following Elon Musk's legal team sending a letter to Twitter's board of directors indicating that Musk wants to back out of the $44 billion acquisition deal, Musk has fired off a couple of trolling tweets.

Musk has been engaged in a deal to purchase Twitter for a few months now, and leading up to the present date, the Tesla CEO said that the deal was "on hold" until Twitter could prove that its number of bot/spam accounts was below the stated 5% of total Twitter users. Twitter provided the "full pipe" of data to Musk's team, which was unable to prove that Twitter's estimation was incorrect.

Now, reports have come out that Twitter is moving to pursue legal action against Musk that may force him into purchasing the company for the locked-in $44 billion. Notably, Twitter's market capitalization is currently at $28 billion, nearly half of Musk's offer. Musk has recently posted a meme to his Twitter account that pokes fun at the bot account situation. The meme states that Twitter didn't want Musk to buy the company in the first place, and when he went to purchase it and asked for "bot info," the company didn't disclose the correct information. Lastly, "now they have to disclose the bot info in court".

Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk has moved to exit his acquisition deal to purchase the world's second-largest social media company, Twitter.

Elon Musk officially moved to kill his deal to purchase Twitter over the weekend when Musk's legal team issued a statement that indicated the billionaire would be backing out of the deal over Twitter allegedly making false and misleading representations of the company. Notably, Musk's legal team sent a letter to Twitter's Chief Legal Officer Vijaya Gadde that stated Musk would be at risk of suffering a Company Material Adverse Effect if he followed through with the deal.

When Musk entered into the $44 billion acquisition of Twitter, he agreed to pay a $1 billion exit fee if the deal wasn't completed. However, this $1 billion fine could be waived if Twitter is found to have provided Musk with inadequate information regarding the company, its users, and financials - all of which would be used by Musk to get an accurate valuation. Musk agreed to purchase Twitter for $44 billion, and now Twitter is worth approximately $28 billion, following a global market downturn.

Elon Musk has come out with some kinder words about former President Donald Trump, after Trump called the SpaceX and Tesla boss "another bullsh*t artist" at a rally over the weekend.

Musk has the video where Trump calls him out pinned to his Twitter, replying to that tweet about an hour ago. Musk said: "I don't hate the man, but it's time for Trump to hang up his hat & sail into the sunset. Dems should also call off the attack - don't make it so that Trump's only way to survive is to regain the Presidency".

He continued, adding: "Trump would be 82 at end of term, which is too old to be chief executive of anything, let alone the United States of America. If DeSantis runs against Biden in 2024, then DeSantis will easily win - he doesn't even need to campaign".

Apple is still hard at work on its "Project Titan" aka the Apple Car, with news coming from a new in-depth piece by The Information, that teases the Apple Car has no steering wheel, no brakes, and it has inward-facing seats so you are looking at each other in the car.

The futuristic car sounds like it's got into a lot of trouble lately, where recently the Apple Car was driving up to a pedestrian crossing when a jogger was crossing. The Apple Car "only slightly adjusted its path" to the point that the human driver had to slam the brakes on, or else that could've been a much worse -- possibly fatal -- situation.

Apple is reportedly aiming to get the tick of approval from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration to build a car without a traditional steering wheel, or brake pedals. But this brings its own troubles: a fully autonomous car would make Apple responsible for its behavior (and its crashes, and the safety of the occupants of the vehicle).

Adam Irvin replied, saying: "Hmm. I'm a little surprised this is your take. NASA has been teasing that its James Webb Space Telescope (JWST), the largest and most powerful space telescope in the world, will soon be releasing its first colored images.

Webb launched from Earth on Christmas Day, 2021, and since then, the $10 billion+ observatory has been gearing up for scientific operations with NASA engineers on Earth running it through numerous checks to prepare its highly advanced instruments. Now, Webb is beginning science operations, and NASA has already taken to its social channels to release the first colored image taken by Webb.

Above is the first image colored image taken by NASA's JWST, and according to NASA's website its, the deepest and sharpest infrared image of the distant universe ever taken. The image showcases galaxy cluster SMACS 0723, which contains thousands of galaxies and the faintest objects ever observed in infrared. Furthermore, NASA explains that this image and all of the galaxies contained within it covers a patch of sky equivalent to the size of a grain of sand held at arm's length.

It's not something big at all, but it's something: a new leak on Intel's upcoming Arc A770M mobile GPU, which has been benchmarked in some 3DMark runs alongside the slower A550M GPU.

We're hearing about the Intel Arc A770M and A550M GPUs from leaker "@_rogame" with some 3DMark Fire Strike Extreme (1440p) benchmarks. The lower-end Intel Arc A550M has 16 Xe-Cores, and scores 6017 points in 3DMark Time Spy using the older 1726 driver, but this benchmark was using Intel APO (Advanced Performance Optimizations) enabled... which as VC points out "basically renders it invalid as per 3DMark rules".

This means that the Intel Arc A550M is much slower than the A730M, but so it should be: it has half of the ACM-G10 GPU cores.

AMD is splitting up its chipsets like usual for its upcoming 600-series chipsets, with ASRock's upcoming AMD 600-series motherboard list being leaked... teasing a B650E chipset is coming.

The new X670E chipset from AMD is an "Extreme" version of the X670, both of which will support next-gen PCIe 5.0 SSDs and PCIe 5.0 GPUs... but the X670 Extreme (or X670E) will have "PCIe 5.0 everywhere" which means both PCIe 5.0 SSD + GPU at the same time. The regular non-E variant in the X670 will have PCIe 5.0-ready SSDs, but you'll need to go "Extreme" if you want both.

This means that the B650E chipset should see higher motherboard prices in the mid-range, but you'll get Zen 4 CPU support, DDR5 memory, and then PCIe 5.0 support for both your GPU and SSD of the future. Motherboard makers will also use higher-end PCBs packing improved signaling to comply with the strict Gen5 protocol specs.

A federal grand jury has indicted a Florida man who, where over the last 8 years, had been selling fake Cisco hardware and pulled in over $1 billion from government agencies, hospitals, schools, and... even the military.

Onur Aksoy, aka Ron Aksoy, aka Dave Durden, was busted selling fake Cisco equipment from suppliers in both China and Hong Kong, importing tens of thousands of products from 2014 to 2022. The US Department of Justice says that he had at least 19 companies in New Jersey and Florida, at least 15 Amazon storefronts, at least eBay storefronts, and multiple other entities that collectively, are called the "Pro Network Entities".

The US Department of Justice explains that the man "imported tens of thousands of fraudulent and counterfeit Cisco networking devices from China and Hong Kong and resold them to customers in the United States and overseas, falsely representing the products as new and genuine. The operation allegedly generated over $100 million in revenue, and Aksoy received millions of dollars for his personal gain".

Sony and Western Digital have announced the first officially licensed SSDs for the PlayStation 5, in both 1TB and 2TB capacities, with the SN850 NVMe SSD.

Both of the new SSDs feature PlayStation logos so you'll know this is for your console, and not your PC, where they're specifically compatible (I'm sure it won't take long to get it working on the PC) for Sony's PlayStation 5 console.

Installation is easy, you'll need to turn your console off, unplug it from power (duh), remove the side panel, unscrew the SSD expansion slot, and then install your fresh new Western Digital SN850 NVMe SSD for PS5 inside, and you're almost good to go. You'll also need to update your PS5 console to version 21.02-04.00.00 which shouldn't take long.

Phison is talking up its upcoming Gen5 SSD controller once again, but the days of its Gen4 SSD controllers aren't over... with new PCIe 4.0 SSDs coming that will reach 7.2GB/sec for consumers, and up to 32TB capacities for servers.

The company is working on the PCIe Gen 5 E26, PCIe Gen 4 E25 and PCIe Gen 4 E20 products that include the Phison E26 'PS5026-E26' PCIe Gen 5 SSD controller that will usher in the lofty speeds of 13GB/sec (13,000MB/sec) that we saw teased not too long ago. Phison teased its E26 controller pumping away in an AMD Zen 4-capable X670E motherboard at an insane 12.5GB/sec.

A new Terminator survival game is happening, and it will chronicle the grim and brutal times before John Connor's resistance when humans were mercilessly hunted down and executive.

Nacon Milan's new Terminator game sounds pretty exciting; the game is described principally as open-world survival, but we're betting it'll have some distinct horror elements too. The project, which doesn't have a name yet, owes most of its mystique and promise to its theme and setting.

According to the devs, the Terminator survival game will have a brand new storyline that's set in a specific period. Players will take on the roles of nuclear survivors in a period after Judgement Day but before the resistance was formed by John Connor. This time frame isn't explored all that much in video games and give Nacon Milan a lot of creative liberties.

Respawn Entertainment is currently hiring multiple roles to work on a new singleplayer-driven Apex Legends first-person shooter.

New job listings confirm that Respawn is currently assembling an incubation team to start plotting out a new Apex Legends FPS game. There are five listings for the "Apex Universe FPS Incubation team" that say the game will be singleplayer-driven, which is a big departure from the F2P battle royale sensation that has made over $2 billion so far. What's also interesting is the Apex universe is technically the Titanfall universe; in the past, Respawn has teased that more Titanfall games are coming.

"This new singleplayer title is a developer's dream playground with a freedom to innovate made possible by the unique universe it inhabits," a senior environment artist job listing reads.
