Justin Roiland reveals Trover saves the Universe gameplay
Justin Roiland, the co-creator of the hit animated T.V show Rick and Morty has released a new trailer through his game studio Squanch Games. The trailer reveals gameplay for his new title Trover Saves the Universe.
The trailer begins with Bathtub Guy who narrates us through the gameplay for what is titled Trover Saves the Universe. Bathtub Guy sounds awfully a lot like Rick due to the fact that Justin Roiland is voicing the character. Bathtub Guy eventually dies from the T.V falling into the bathtub and electrocuting him, a purple unknown character with 2 eye balls in each eye walks in, this character sounds exactly like Morty.
The game is scheduled for release on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation VR and includes a third-person view that seems like a platform experience but spliced with Just Roilands comedy. There is unfortunately no planned release date as of yet for Trover Saves the Universe but we hope to hear more about the interesting title soon.

Death Stranding gameplay trailer is beyond mysterious
E3 2018 - Hideo Kojima has done it again, blowing the world away with a beyond mysterious gameplay trailer to Death Stranding which a PlayStation exclusive. Check it out:
This is the very first time we've seen gameplay footage from Death Stranding, which stars Norman Reedus from The Walking Dead, who plays Sam Bridges, the protagonist of the game. Bridges explores and survives the beautifully imagined environments of an alien planet with rain, rivers, and jungle-like sets.
Bridges carries a huge life back that holds a tiny baby that seems to be something you use as a save point in case you age, or die. We're still not sure on this. Bridges climbs mountains with beautiful motion capture making it seem more realistic than most games, but is mostly trying to survive the elements and environment, which seem to be out to destroy life.

Crackdown 3 gameplay footage debuts at E3 2018
E3 2018 - Crackdown 3 might have been delayed into 2019, but that might be for good reason - it looks like a helluva lot of fun. Terry Crews debuts in the first official gameplay trailer to Crackdown 3, which you can check out below:
Terry Crews himself is a big enough reason to play the game, especially as a super-powered version of himself in Crackdown 3. Microsoft have Crackdown 3 as an Xbox One exclusive and it will heavily feature multiplayer mayhem, which looks like it could be some truly, truly insane fun.
The trailer seems to feature the single-player side of Crackdown 3, but we should see some of the multiplayer mayhem in follow up footage during E3 this week.

Remedy's new IP Control is like a supernatural Quantum Break
Remedy Games made good on its promise to unveil its new IP at E3 2018, and it looks pretty snazzy.
Control, previously codenamed P7, is Remedy's big new franchise that saw a formal announcement during Sony's E3 press conference. Control looks like its built from Quantum Break's advanced tech and shares some similarities--explosive environments, slowing down time, gunplay, etc--and is described as a "third-person action-adventure game" that combines supernatural and sci-fi themes with an interesting splash of horror.
Remedy says Control will feature dynamic environments in a "deep and unpredictable world" that's constantly shifting and changing. But make no mistake: Control is a shooter through and through and features some interesting-looking ways to take on enemies.

The Last of Us II trailer shows Ellie's grisly survival
Sony debuted gameplay footage for The Last of Us II at their E3 2018 showcase, highlighting some of the brutal rigors gamers will face.
The Last of Us II is Ellie's harrowing story of hate, the dark malice that drives her survival. The gameplay really exhibits and drives home this point while also exposing the cruel, deadly nature of the world. Stealth is still a big part of the game but when things get out of hand Ellie has to do anything to survive: slice enemies throats, gun them down in a frenzied fusillade of bullets, or loose arrows in a mad careless fury.
Apart from the grisly violence the footage really drove home this new feeling of tension. The sequel is so cinematic that you actually feel as if you're playing a movie and that any false move could see Ellie massacred. She gets shot with arrows, sliced, and hunted like a dog, but in the end still comes out on top.

Next-gen Xbox consoles in development, Microsoft confirms
On the heels of last year's Xbox One X, Microsoft's console hardware division is currently designing and building new systems that will push console gaming even further.
At Microsoft's E3 2018 showcase, Xbox division head Phil Spencer confirmed that new Xbox console(s) are in development. "And of course, our hardware team. The same team that delivered unprecedented performance with Xbox One X is deep into architecting the next Xbox consoles, where we will once again deliver on our commitment to set the benchmark for console gaming," Spencer said on stage. Note the plurality here, which could mean a new generation with its own mid-gen refresh (for example another Xbox One with beefier specs and its own Xbox One X with even beefier capabilities).
Given AMD currently has a strong hold on the console market it's very likely the new Xbox consoles will be powered by enhanced Radeon graphics beyond Vega. Industry sources have told TweakTown's Anthony Garreffa that Sony's next-gen PlayStation 5 will tap AMD's new Navi GPU architecture in tandem with Zen CPU cores. However, sources say Navi will be an RX 500 successor instead of an enthusiast-grade architecture and not substantially one-up its Vega GPU technology. It's likely that Microsoft is working just as closely with AMD's RTG team as Sony to develop its new hardware.

Assassin's Creed: Odyssey set during Peloponnesian War
Today Ubisoft revealed key details about Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, the series' new game based in ancient Greece, including timeline, RPG features, and release date.
While Assassin's Creed: Odyssey seems to share quite a bit with its predecessor Origins (assets, UI, combat, etc), it makes key departures for the franchise including a new dialog system that Ubisoft says will directly affect the in-game world. The epic takes place in fifth century BC during the Peloponnesian War (431-404 BC), which saw the Delian League helmed by Athens battling against the Pelopponesian League led by Sparta--a war that would devastate both sides. Sadly this is after the famous Greco-Persian wars but we could get a flashback or two.
Odyssey has been in development for three years, meaning it was being crafted alongside Origins (hence the similarities) and allows gamers to explore ancient Greece in all its glory. Players can pick between Alexios or Kassandra, Spartan mercenaries who are direct descendants of legendary Spartan King Leonidas.

Devil May Cry 5 announced at E3
Making good on its promises to resurrect and continue popular IPs, Capcom announced Devil May Cry 5 during Microsoft's E3 2018 press event.
Devil May Cry 5 is built on advanced new tech to provide high-end visuals and enthralling combat, while also blending the hilarious chaos the series is known for. It's being developed under the keen eye of beloved director Hideaki Itsuno and other Capcom veterans, so it should remain quite authentic to the series (everything we've seen so far matches what we'd expect from a DMC game).
The game follows Devil May Cry 4's Nero as he battles demons in an overrun Red Grave City in stylish, havoc-filled hack-and-slash action. DMC 5 also features a new character named Nico who makes a special prosthetic arm for Nero after his Devil Arm is ripped off--and even provides some extra gadgets to boot.

Fallout 76: no NPCs, no offline, real-time VATS, mods later
Bethesda's Todd Howard confirms Fallout 76 can't be played offline, and solo players will still interact with other gamers in some way. But this is just the beginning: Fallout 76 will evolve throughout the months (and years) with new features, balancing, and eventually even mod support.
Described as a "post-nuclear online RPG," the new Fallout 76 game is an always-online experience that can't be played solo like previous Fallout titles. Last night Bethesda revealed that the game itself focuses on survival in the massive wasteland of West Virginia and has a heavy emphasis on teamwork--if you team up with others things are easier, there's social incentives, etc. There's no NPCs, either: everyone in the game is an actual person that you can interact with, whether PVP, PVE, or even trading and teaming up to build camps or outposts. But what about mods? Bethesda is committed, Howard says.
"We love mods, so we are 100% committed to doing that in Fallout 76 as well. We will not be able to do that at launch though," Bethesda Game Studios Game Director Todd Howard said in a recent interview with Geoff Keighley.
