Inno3D's new custom GeForce RTX 5090 Frostbite graphics card is a water-cooled new Blackwell beast, but the 12V-2x6 power cable is absolutely cooking at over 150C+ temperatures.

During his review of the Inno3D GeForce RTX 5090 Frostbite graphics card, HardwareLuxx reviewer Andreas Schilling shared some details of the waterblocked GPU with some thermal imagery. In the post on X above, we can see that the hotspot temperature of the 12V-2x6 power connector hitting 150.6C while the PSU was reaching 160C... hot.

Schilling was asked which GPU and PSU he was using, to which he replied the RTX 5090 Frostbite and the be quiet! Dark Power 13 PSU. Power consumption on the water-cooled RTX 5090 Frotsbite was also hitting 600W.

AMD's next-generation Zen 6-based "Medusa Ridge" desktop CPUs will arrive in 12-core, 24-core, and 32-core variants with up to 128MB of L3 cache according to the latest leaks.

We've been hearing more and more about AMD's next-gen Zen 6 architecture and its new Medusa Ridge, Medusa Point, and Medusa Halo chips with today's leaks concentrating on the Medusa Ridge desktop processors. In a new post on Chiphell, insider "Zhangzhonghao" posted the core and cache counts of the new Zen 6-based Medusa Ridge desktop CPUs.

The 12-core Zen 6 CCD features 48MB of L3 cache, while the 32-core Zen 6c CCD features 128MB of L3 cache says the leaker, leaving the desktop non-X3D part with dual CCDs and up to 96MB (2 x 48MB) L3 cache.

We are only six months away from Apple unveiling the new iPhone 17 line, but if you have been keeping up with the rumors there is plenty already out there about these new smartphones, with the main highlight being the long-awaited physical redesign.

For quite some time, rumors have been indicating that Apple is changing things up with the iPhone 17 line-up, and now we have our first look at three models of the new generation in the form of dummy units - the iPhone 17 standard, the iPhone 17 Air, and iPhone 17 Pro. The dummy units were created based on "internal documents" according to iDeviceHelp and are representative of the latest rumors on each of the devices, including dimensions, camera placements, and features.

The iPhone 17 Pro is likely the most eye-catching in terms of a redesign, as Apple has reportedly opted for a camera bar over the traditional stove-top look that has been present across its entire line of iPhones for many years now. The iPhone 17 Pro has been rumored for quite some time to be getting this redesign, along with the iPhone 17 Air being in the works and the device slated to replace the iPhone 16 Plus. The iPhone 17 Air is rumored to be focused on aesthetics, with the inclusion of a similar camera bar, but thinner and a reduction in thickness versus the iPhone 17 standard.

Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF), the founder and former CEO of now-collapsed cryptocurrency exchange FTX, has been thrown in solitary confinement over his recent Tucker Carlson interview.

A new report from The New York Times has revealed SBF has been placed into solitary confinement over his recent interview with Tucker Carlson as the US Bureau of Prisons didn't approve the interview of Prisons. According to the report, the US Bureau of Prisons is an agency within the US Department of Justice that is responsible for the administration of the federal prison system, and according to the recent report, SBF wasn't granted permission by the regulatory body to participate in an interview.

It appears the interview was conducted on Wednesday, a day before it was posted to social media platforms such as Rumble and X. SBF is currently serving a 25-year sentence for fraud after the collapse of the cryptocurrency exchange FTX folded in 2022, and according to the Times report, SBF initiated the interview with Carlson in an attempt to secure a presidential pardon from Trump.

Astronauts aboard the International Space Station (ISS) were greeted with a spectacular sight thanks to SpaceX's recent Starship launch.

NASA astronaut and current ISS member Don Pettit took to X to share some photographs of the upper stage, which is the spacecraft itself or the part of the rocket that's designed to hold cargo and crew, exploding as a result of an "energetic event" causing the spacecraft to lose altitude and eventually communications with SpaceX. Shortly after communications were severed, Starship initiated its RUD protocol, or Rapid Unscheduled Disassembly, which can be translated into boom.

The event was captured by NASA astronaut Don Pettit, who wrote on X, "We saw the Starship 8 breakup in the upper atmosphere and fall back to Earth from the ISS". While the spacecraft part of Starship exploded the booster, or Super Heavy returned back to the launch pad and was caught for the third time in a row by the Mechazilla launch tower.

Apple's much-awaited upgrade for Siri is now indefinitely delayed until at least next year, according to a new report from Bloomberg's Apple insider Mark Gurman.

Apple unveiled Apple Intelligence at WWDC in June 2024, where it teased a new Siri that would be much smarter than the current version of the digital assistant. Siri's upgrade would enable users to interact with the digital assistant on a more personal level, as Siri would have deeper access to a device with cross-app integration, control over apps, and more knowledge about the user. Moreover, Siri would work similarly to ChatGPT and be able to engage with users through natural language, fulfill multiple requests, remember past sentences in conversations, etc.

In fact, that is exactly what Apple was planning for the iPhone 16 line-up, with the company running ads such as this one where it stated the new and improved Siri will have a richer language understanding. Apple has since removed a TV advertisement for the AI-infused Siri from its YouTube channel, deciding to private the video which featured Last of Us TV show star Bella Ramsey. Reports from Bloomberg's Mark Gurman are now stating Apple plans on rolling out the AI injection into Siri "in the coming year".

Filings with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has revealed some new features with the Nintendo Switch 2 that Nintendo hasn't officially unveiled.

The documents highlight that the upcoming console will come with NFC and RFID support in the right Joy-Con, which isn't totally surprising considering the original Nintendo Switch also supported NFC and RFID. However, there are performance improvements, such as support for Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) networks with up to 80MHz of bandwidth, which is a step up from Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) on the original Nintendo Switch.

Additionally, the Nintendo Switch 2 will have two USB-C ports, one at the top and one at the bottom. Each of these USB-C ports will have charging capabilities, and the FCC filings have now officially confirmed that, ahead of Nintendo, the new USB-C port will have charging capabilities. Nintendo did tease the existence of an additional USB-C port in its announcement video for the Nintendo Switch 2, but didn't provide any specific details on its purpose.

As part of an initiative between the Indy Autonomous Challenge (IAC) and Italian university Politecnico di Milano, scientists have put their hands together to break the autonomous land speed record. In a recent development, the team managed to push a modified Maserati MC20 Cielo, fitted with Lidar, camera, and sensor technology, to 197mph (or 318km/h ). A staggering pace, which for reference, is nearly as fast as a commercial airplane on takeoff or a Shinkansen Japanese Bullet Train.

The feat was achieved at the Space Florida Launch and Landing Facility (LLF) at the Kennedy Space Center, one of the longest runways in the world at 2.8 miles. While primarily used for government operations, the LLF served as the perfect testing ground to push the limits of self-driving vehicles.

The first trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6 was released in December 2023, and since then, Rockstar has been silent about the title, leaving fans to squirm under the anticipation of getting a new look at the upcoming game. The time for a new trailer may be closer than you think.

The latest rumor comes from GTA VI O'Clock, which consists of the most respected content creators and journalists within the Grand Theft Auto community, and according to the recent newsletter, Rockstar is now expected to release the second trailer for GTA 6 at the end of this month, or early April. The newsletter links to the above image, which is a timeline that overlays the GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2 marketing campaigns and their key media beats.

The timeline shows the number of months Rockstar took between a game being announced, the first trailer being released, trailer two for that title, and finally, its release. Judging by the timeline, and if Rockstar is going to maintain the same marketing beats as it has in previous titles, the developer is due to release the second trailer for GTA 6 this month or in early April. Additionally, Rockstar has already stated GTA 6 will be released in the Fall of 2025, which will more than likely be leaning to the back half of Fall, late October / early November, given previous comments by Take-Two Interactive's CEO Strauss Zelnick.

The Gear of War rumors are swirling, and the latest comes from MiddleAgeGaming, who claims to have sources from within The Coalition, the developers of the Gears of War games.

MiddleAgeGaming confirms previous rumors that a Gears of War Collection is in the works and adds that an announcement is expected in June this year. The above video states that the upcoming collection will consist of the first three Gears of War games: 1, 2, and 3. The collection is going to be arriving on Xbox, PC, and, as previously rumored, PlayStation, which would mark the first time Xbox has brought over Gears of War to the competing platform.

More specifically, MiddleAgeGaming states the Gears of War Collection will be PS5 Pro Enhanced, which leads us to believe it will be a full remaster of the first three titles, as Sony requires a certain level of graphical/performance improvements for the enhanced label to be given. Those requirements are 4K Upscaling via PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR), 60FPS performance, Advanced Ray Tracing features, etc.

US-based startup Bolt Graphics has just announced Zeus, a completely new GPU design for high-performance workloads including rendering, AI, HPC, and gaming.

The new Zeus GPU is orders of magnitude faster than any other GPU in key workloads, with 10x rendering performance, 6x in FP64 HPC workload performance, and an insane 300x in electromagnetic wave simulations.

In terms of specs, Bolt is bringing expandable memory to GPUs, where for the first time, users can increase their VRAM to 384GB per PCIe slot, with up to 2.25TB of VRAM (!!!) per 2U server. A rack of Zeus 2U servers can be configured with up to 180TB (!!!) of memory, 8x larger than legacy GPUs points out Bolt.

NVIDIA is preparing a new Blackwell-based workstation GPU called the RTX PRO 6000 X which features an insane, drool-worthy 96GB of GDDR7 memory and a 600W TBP.

In a new post on X by leaker @harukaze5719 who spotted an NBD shipping manifest listing of "RTX PRO 6000 X Blackwell" which were being sent to India for "testing purposes". Hopefully, that testing includes looking for missing ROPs, but anyway the RTX 6000 PRO X features the GB202-870 "Blackwell" GPU with 96GB of GDDR7 memory on a 512-bit memory bus.

NVIDIA ships its new gaming-focused GeForce RTX 5090 with 32GB of GDDR7 memory on a 512-bit memory bus, but 96GB of GDDR7 memory on the same wide memory bus is going to be bananas for AI workloads, content creation, and more with a gigantic 96GB pool of VRAM. The RTX 5090 ships with a 575W TBP, with the new RTX 6000 PRO X Blackwell GPU having 25W more power at 600W, which I'm sure is for the additional GDDR7 memory chips (it has 3x the GDDR7!)

TSMC chairman C.C. Wei says that its US fabs are fully booked through 2027, with its new 2027 production lines also reserved.

The semiconductor champion has expanded its US operations, announcing with President Trump that TSMC would be spending another $100 billion on semiconductor fabs on US soil, and even with these huge investments, Taiwan will not suffer as there are 11 new production lines being built in Taiwan this year alone... but "it is still not enough" says the TSMC founder.

Wei made the new comments during a joint press conference with Taiwan President William Lai, adding that there isn't enough land in Taiwan for TSMC's new semiconductor fabs, to which President Lai said the government would absolutely step in and help provide more land, water, and electricity to TSMC.

In a new post from AMD's senior director of consumer marketing, Sasa Marinkovic, on X we're learning that AMD Radeon RX 9070 series GPUs take up 9 out of the 10 spots in the best-selling products on Amazon right now. In a follow-up post on X, he shared another post that points to the fact that AMD Radeon has the top 13 spots on Amazon for the best-selling GPUs, with the post continuing: "never seen this. Insane. Hopefully a sign that competition is coming back to GPUs".

PC gamers can't find NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 series GPUs and even if they do, they've got to have (major) worries of missing ROPs and needing to be weeks (or months) without their shiny new expensive GPU. A reply to @PCBuilderJason on X explains: "there is literally zero inventory of NVIDIA cards. It pretty well explains it. They shut off 40 series and put low effort into 50 series. Think I saw consumer GPU sales were 4% of their revenue. They give zero fucks" which sums it up well.

Leadtek has introduced the new WinFast HURRICANE series with GeForce RTX 5090, RTX 5080, and RTX 5070 Ti graphics cards. The flagship Leadtek GeForce RTX 5090 WinFast HURRICANE features a mega-thick over 4-slot cooling design that's also incredibly high (78mm).

Under that, the RTX 5080 WinFast HURRICANE features the same cooling design but it's slightly smaller (72.6mm) that should fall into a 3.5-slot design. The RTX 5090 WinFast HURRICANE features ARGB lighting on the side, while the RTX 5080 and RTX 5070 Ti WinFast HURRICANE features plain non-RGB designs.

AMD has revealed the release date and pricing of its Ryzen 9 9950X3D and 9900X3D CPUs, and these chips are turning up next week.

The pair of high-end 3D V-Cache offerings for the Zen 5 range will debut on March 12.

Pricing is set at $699 for the Ryzen 9950X3D and $599 for the Ryzen 9900X3D, which is exactly what the rumor mill claimed. Also, that release date was recently predicted as well (based on a leak from AMD in China).

As reported by Insider Gaming, a player has already been caught streaming Battlefield Labs - almost immediately after it opened for a two-hour closed playtest.

Participation in Battlefield Labs comes with strict conditions, reportedly outlined in an email prohibiting players from recording, streaming, or discussing any details about the test. To gain access, players must opt into a confidentiality agreement, ensuring the closed test environment remains private. However, a rogue user named @anto_merguezz ignored these restrictions and streamed gameplay on Twitch, publicly revealing footage of the early test session.

Footage has already surfaced onto Imgur, showcasing general gameplay, and in-game destruction. Along with multiple recordings on X and YouTube.

Reputable leaker Billbil-Kun has reported new details about Death Stranding 2, claiming that 'pre-orders are imminent', while also providing information on the game's physical editions and pricing.

As outlined on Dealabs, "all signs are green" for an imminent release date announcement. Hideo Kojima, along with Norman Reedus, Woodkid, and Troy Baker, are scheduled to appear in a live-streamed panel at SXSW 2025 in Texas on March 9 at 4 PM CT. Given the timing, it's highly likely that the official release date will be revealed during this event.

The leak also confirms that Death Stranding 2 will launch with a physical Standard Edition, priced at $69.99 USD / 69.99 EUR, along with a Collector's Edition planned for North America and Europe, retailing at $229 USD.

NVIDIA is on the verge of revealing its next Blackwell models, the GeForce RTX 5060 Ti and RTX 5060, or that's the word from the rumor mill.

VideoCardz has tapped its sources to discover that NVIDIA has informed its graphics card making partners that it's planning to announce its RTX 5060 models next week.

As per the above post on X from another leaker, MEGAsizeGPU, the RTX 5060 range is going to be revealed in 10 days, which would seemingly suggest the beginning of the following week - but at any rate, a mid-March announcement is seemingly on the horizon.
