With Days Gone Remastered releasing next month, players have been eager to get their hands on the new improvements through the game's $10 upgrade. However, most players will be disappointed to find that they'll need to pay full price or buy a disk to jump into it.

When the PS5 released in 2020, the PlayStation Plus Collection allowed subscribers to redeem a base catalogue of titles including Fallout 4, God of War, and Days Gone. The service was discontinued in May 2023, but since then, it's allowed a large proportion of gamers to maintain a PS4 version of Days Gone in their libraries.

However, as outlined on the PlayStation Store "PS4 game redemptions via PlayStation Plus are not eligible for upgrade". Players who have redeemed the collection will be required to either buy the full $49.99 edition of Days Gone Remastered, or purchase a physical copy of the game to be eligible. If you have redeemed the PS Plus version, you'll also be ineligible to purchase discounted copies of the base game.

According to information provided by @tphuang, Huawei will be releasing its first in-house AI laptop in April, made entirely from in-house components, and equipped with a Kunpeng-920 processor.

A distinguishing feature of this release is that it is built entirely from products from within Huawei's own supply chain - serving to mitigate supply chain issues, and open up market opportunities. Based on what's currently known, the Kunpeng-920 CPU, based on ARMv8 architecture, is a server-grade processor that scales up to 64 cores, though lower-core variants (4, 8, and 16-core) are also available for consumer devices.

The shift to in-house will be an interesting test for Huawei - by cutting reliance on foreign suppliers, the company may further insulate themselves from the on-going sanctions and supply chain disruptions. Having control over both hardware and software also allows for tighter integration, better optimisation and security oversight.

Out the front of the White House President Donald Trump committed to deeming any acts of violence against Tesla dealerships an act of domestic terrorism.

The comments from Trump come after several Tesla dealerships and charging stations were targeted by vandals, seemingly in response to an emerging campaign against Tesla CEO Elon Musk for his involvement as head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), which is pursuing implementing sweeping cost-cutting measures throughout the US government. Trump and Musk were spotted outside of the White House in a Tesla vehicle, and after exiting the vehicle, Trump was asked about the labeling of the emerging violence against Tesla seen across the country.

Trump responded to the question, which can be seen in full below, by agreeing attackers should be labeled as domestic terrorists, and then went on to name several other American companies he has "stuck up for". Trump continued and explained he wants to protect any American company, and that "we are going to catch them". The President added that many of the dealerships have quite a lot of cameras, and that "we already know who some of them are, we're gonna catch them. And they're bad guys."

In a campaign against Spotify and large tech, Pocket Casts - owned by the company behind WordPress - has made its podcast web player and desktop apps available to users free of charge.

Pocket Casts is a podcast streaming platform and app that allows users to discover, subscribe to, download and listen to podcasts. As detailed on the team's website, Pocket Casts takes a rather ethical approach to its services. "The future of podcasting shouldn't be locked behind walled gardens," the team writes, and this approach has been baked into both the pricing, and the tool itself. "We're making a statement,"

The free offering will allow users to stream any podcast directly from its Web Player, without requiring an account or subscription. Users with accounts will be able to sync playback progress across devices, save subscriptions, and manage their queue more seamlessly.

We got our first look at Corsair Custom Lab at Computex 2024, an online service that allows PC gamers, creators, and enthusiasts to customize the look and feel of Corsair hardware to create a more personalized piece of gear. NVIDIA appears to have restocked its elusive RTX 50-series GPUs as the company has sent out emails to customers informing them they have been selected to purchase a new GeForce RTX 50-series graphics card.

The launch of the GeForce RTX 50-series GPU has solidified itself into history as one of the worst GPU launches from NVIDIA, as the company is battling missing hardware on random GPUs, associated power connector failures, and, probably most importantly, an extremely overpriced reseller market caused by dwindling stock.

While we still don't have an answer as to why there is such little stock of the Blackwell-based GPUs, we do have some good news, stock has come back as NVIDIA has begun sending out emails to its Priority Access members informing them they have been selected to purchase a new RTX 50-series GPU.

Take-Two Interactive, publisher of Grand Theft Auto, Borderlands and the NBA 2k franchise, has filed a lawsuit against Player Auctions, a marketplace that sells online player accounts, items, and virtual currency.

The filing joins Roblox, who lodged a similar notion last month. Take-Two's lawsuit was filed at the US Central District Court of California last week, as reported by Polygon. The company has accused PlayerAuctions of running a 'lawless enterprise' and claims that the marketplace has engaged in 'rampant infringement and other unauthorized conduct' on the site.

The filing itself alleges that PlayerAuctions runs a sophisticated sales platform, and that it actively recruits 'sellers' who engage with hacking software and exploits to create infringing goods. Specifically, they point to 'thousands of listings' that contain heavily modified player accounts, in-game assets, and virtual currency - which they claim were gained through the use of hacking software, cheats, and exploits.

In January, reports of GeForce RTX 5090s with damaged PCIe connections began to appear online. The visible damage was allegedly caused by ASUS's new 'PCIe Slot Q-Release Slim' system on the company's latest AMD and Intel motherboards, which allows for GPUs to be removed in a single motion without having to press a button or remove a lock. Reports from reviewers noted that sometimes their GeForce RTX 5090's "got stuck," which meant removing the GPU could (allegedly) cause damage.

In a formal response, ASUS's North American team said that after testing and evaluation, it "found no damage to the motherboard or graphics card that would affect functionality and/or performance." It also added that "any type of PCIe add-in card will exhibit signs of usage and wear marking after 60 continuous insertions and removals."

Well, GIGABYTE disagrees. The company's AORUS team in Japan posted a video to social media titled 'Ultimate PCIe Scratch Test' to see what would happen to a GPU's PCIe connection after 100 insertions and removals on its GIGABYTE Z890 AORUS ELITE WIFI7 ICE motherboard. You can probably guess what the result was.

The National Museum of Play in New York is set to induct three games into the World Video Game Hall of Fame this year, and you can vote on the list of potential inductees. Public voting will be considered alongside the museum's International Selection Advisory Committee, acting as a single member.

The final list of inductees includes some absolute classics and iconic franchises: Age of Empires, Angry Birds, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Defender, Frogger, Goldeneye 007, Golden Tee, Harvest Moon, Mattel Football, NBA 2K, Quake, and Tamagotchi.

If you've been gaming for a while, one look at this list will undoubtedly bring back some fond memories. It'll be interesting to see which games are inducted into the World Video Game Hall of Fame. As someone who has been gaming since the days of the original Nintendo Entertainment System, here are my three picks in no particular order.

Hitman 3's VR release arrived in 2022 to mixed reviews, due to being a generally buggy and unrefined mess. IO Interactive haven't given up on VR, however, with the Hitman: World of Assassination coming to PlayStation VR2 March 27.

The game, showcased in 4K HDR, comes with all the best from Hitman 1, Hitman 2, and Hitman 3. Across the 22 unique locations, a range of new VR-specific mechanics have been introduced - such as lock picking and multi-guard knockouts. There's also a whole slew of immersion features, with the ability to dual-wield over 100 weapons, and interact with the environment. The PSVR2 controller's adaptive triggers have also received enhancements.

Players will be able to experience the whole campaign in VR, providing an interesting new lens for both new and returning Hitman players. Fan favorite missions like the Miami racetrack, and the Paris fashion show will undoubtedly be a highlight - and the new additions will provide even more creative ways to take out Agent 47's targets.

Blizzard is bringing back its in-person community event BlizzCon, and it's set to return to the Anaheim Convention Center on the weekend of September 12 to 13 in 2026.

"BlizzCon has been a cornerstone of Blizzard's history since 2005, allowing us to connect with our community and our players directly," Blizzard writes. "For 2026, alongside BlizzCon staples like Opening Ceremony, in-depth panels, the Darkmoon Faire, friendly competition, hands-on gameplay, and more, we aim to meaningfully elevate this iconic celebration and create an unforgettable experience."

BlizzCon has been missing in action for a couple of years. The most recent celebration took place in 2023, when the studio unveiled the first expansion for Diablo IV alongside new expansions for World of Warcraft and more heroes joining the Overwatch line-up. As a Microsoft-owned studio, Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer also took the stage during the keynote marking a new era for the studio.

A very interesting new hybrid laptop has hit Kickstarter, with the new project dubbed UHPILCL (Ultra High Performance Integration Liquid Cooled Laptop) as a new gaming laptop with a built-in liquid cooler.r Check it out:

The creators' Kickstarter says that the new hybrid laptop supports a standard ITX motherboard and can be upgraded: RAM, SSD, GPU, CPU, everything really. The CPU and GPU are both water-cooled with custom heatsinks and will be customized per GPU and GPU design. We have a built-in screen that comes in a decent 17.3-inch 3K 120Hz WLED display with a nice 21:10 aspect ratio.

There are two models of the new hybrid laptop to choose from: the T1000 and the T1000 SUPER, with the T1000 SUPER supporting up to a whopping 735W of heat dissipation between the CPU and GPU, and it's also thicker than the regular T1000 while weighing a hefty 5.2kg.

If you've taken the plunge and ordered a MacBook Air M4, or a new Mac Studio (with M4 Max, or M3 Ultra), when these computers arrive later this week (hopefully), you'll be required to perform a day-one update of macOS.

MacRumors reports that a software update will need to be applied to get your Mac running Sequoia 15.3.1, the latest version of Apple's desktop operating system.

This is because the MacBook Air M4 seemingly arrives with macOS Sequoia 15.2 installed, whereas the Mac Studio is more up to date, and runs macOS Sequoia 15.3, but will still require that bump to version 15.3.1.

Rise of the Ronin, the latest PlayStation exclusive title has now released on PC, and unfortunately for PC gamers, the state the game has released in isn't fantastic.

Team Ninja's Rise of the Ronin was originally launched in March 2024 for the PlayStation 5, and while the game was met with above-average reviews for its intuitive combat system and story, the experience PC gamers are getting isn't quite as enjoyable. The PC version of the title arrived on Steam on March 11, 2025, and judging by the few reviews that have been posted to the Steam listing, many early buyers are reporting performance issues such as stuttering, low framerates, and poor graphics.

These early reviews from the public echo the same sentiment from game reviewers that published their thoughts approximately 5 days ago, with many of those reviews also citing optimization problems. I received a copy of Rise of the Ronin late last month, and I can also back up many of these claims, and throughout my testing experience, I found the majority of the problems were related to the 4K at 120FPS mode.

Split Fiction, the latest title from Hazelight Studios, has released and has been greeted by raving reviews and an intense amount of sales in just 48 hours.

Hazelight Studios, the developers behind acclaimed titles such as A Way Out, and It takes Two, have released their latest co-op-focussed adventure Split Fiction and the game is off to a roaring start, pushing as many as 259,000 players on Steam for its all-time peak. At the time of reporting the game currently has 68,000 concurrent players, making it the 17th most-played title on Steam.

According to a Hazelight announcement on BlueSky, the game has already sold over a million copies and has only been out for 48 hours. For those who don't know, Hazelight Studios' previous titles A Way Out and It Takes Two sold extremely well over time, with the first title selling 11 million copies since 2018, and the second pushing 23 million copies since 2021. Split Fiction already running past the 1 million copies sold mark is a fantastic indicator that it will also achieve the same over the same time period.

The Las Vegas Sphere may soon get little brother and sister spheres as the company behind the $2.3 billion project is looking to expand its offerings into smaller spherical venues.

Sphere Entertainment's Executive Chairman and CEO James Doland recently spoke to industry analysts and informed them the company is looking into smaller Sphere's that would seat approximately 5,000 people, which is considerably smaller than the Las Vegas Sphere, which on paper can seat about 17,600, but could probably fit as many as 20,000 people standing.

Notably, these smaller spheres would require less property and parking, would be cheaper to build, and would likely attract many more artists that can necessarily fill the Las Vegas Sphere but can comfortably sell out 5,000 seats. There is also another barrier to entry the public may not consider when an artist wants to book the Las Vegas Sphere, and that is the considerable investment in producing custom-made video content for the 160,000-square-foot LED screen.

Not been able to get Windows 11 24H2 due to having AutoCAD installed? There's some good news from Microsoft for you, then, as the compatibility hold put on some PCs due to having this software has now been lifted.

The bug with Windows 11 24H2 meant that Autodesk's AutoCAD 2022 application might fail to work - simply not launching - in some cases, and this could happen to any version. However, AutoCAD 2023, 2024, and 2025 all remained fine.

The fix has now arrived for the 2022 incarnation, thankfully, and Microsoft wrote in its support document on the matter:

ASUS has produced some office new monitors with a clever and innovative trick up their sleeves - or perhaps a gimmick, depending on how you look at this development - namely an integrated air purification system.

Yes, we're betting you didn't see that one coming (we certainly didn't), and the claim from ASUS is that the VU Air Ionizer range of monitors is capable of filtering "up to 90% of airborne dust within three hours."

The air ionizer hardware is built into the rear of the monitor, on top of the protruding section of the back panel that houses the ports.

SpaceX has released footage of the recent Starship Flight 8, showcasing the monstrous power of the Super Heavy booster from an extremely interesting camera angle.

The above footage shows the 33 Raptor engines equipped to the Super Heavy booster ignite and carry the rocket, which is approximately the size of a 20-story building, up to orbit. The recent flight marked the eighth test flight of Starship, the world's largest and most powerful rocket, and also marked a hat-trick for Mechazilla tower catches of the booster Super Heavy, which, after separating from the upper stage of the rocket, made its way back down to the launch pad to safely land in the arms of the launch tower - approximately two and half minutes after liftoff.

As for the recent footage released by SpaceX, I didn't think it was possible to capture the ignition of the 33 Raptor engines from beneath the booster, given the intense temperatures, especially at such a close distance. As I am not a rocket engineer, I decided to ask X's AI Grok what the temperature of the environment beneath Super Heavy during Flight 8, and the answer it provided can be found below. In short, each Raptor engine generates 8.75 GW (gigawatts) of thermal energy per second, which equates to 288 GW of thermal power during ignition and flight due to the presence of 33 Raptor engines.
