This week has been a blast for strategy game fans, with Total War: Three Kingdoms releasing early in the week and now Conan Unconquered, gamers might have to strategically split their time.

Creative Assembly's newest instalment into the Total War franchise has seem quite the impressive level of support from fans, some fans even calling it the best game in the franchise. According to Creative Assembly, the title has already managed to sell over 1 million copies and for a brief moment it actually reached the no.1 spot on Steam concurrent players count at 160,000 players.

Creative Assembly's chief product officer Rob Bartholomew has commented on the success of the title, saying "We're seeing a lot of 'best Total War ever' comments out there. We're very proud." Originally Creative Assembly planned on releasing Total War: Three Kingdoms back in March, but decided to delay the game to iron out its many bugs and apply better foundational structure to its localization. This decision seems to have paid off for the studio considerably with many reviews saying that this is the most polished Total War game yet.

Continuing on with the mass amount of Death Stranding news this week, we have what will be officially included within the Collectors Edition for the title. Does anyone want their own baby pod thing?

The news is finally out and we have a release date for Death Stranding. Before I jump into what will be included within the Collectors Edition I'd advise you to go and watch the release date reveal trailer which is located above. Moving on to the Collectors Edition now, the PlayStation Twitter account has posted an image detailing each of the bonuses players will get if they decide to pick up the Collectors Edition.

The bonuses include; a life-size "bridge baby" pod, custom steel book, ludens key chain, original soundtrack, PSN avatars and gold themed in-game items such as the power skeleton, armor, glasses and all-terrain skeleton. Just like most Collectors Editions, there will be a hefty price-tag to match the goodies included. The Death Stranding Collectors Edition will be priced at $200. For those that don't want the bonus goodies there is also two other purchasing options, the $70 Special Edition and the $80 Digital Deluxe Edition that only has virtual content included. Death Stranding will be released on the PS4 on November 8th.

Dauntless is the new hit game right now, and to prove that point the monster hunter-esc title has managed to pull in a staggering 6 million players within its first week.

I have been covering the player count progression of Dauntless since the first day it released. The game initially launched into its beta phase and immediately gained 500,000 players in just one day. That number quickly increased and then was totalled across all platforms, reaching 5 million players.

Now, Phoenix Labs have released an end of week statistical report through an image on their Twitter. The image is basically all of the accolades the game achieved within its first week. Starting off we have the now 6 million slayers present, 20,000,000 hunts have been conducted, 13,000,000 behemoths have been slain, 2,000,000 slayers have been forced to retreat, 60% of parties are cross-play and 15,000,000 hours have already been played. A new real-time-strategy game has hit the market and it is none other than Funcom and Petroglyph Games' high anticipated Conan Unconquered.

Conan Unconquered immerses players in a in a wave generated scenario that requires extreme micromanagement in terms of resources, unit positioning and overall city building. Gamers will be required to build a city and generate units to defend against the progressively more difficult waves of hyboria (enemies). Just like all RTS games, some units will do more damage to other units that they counter. Hint - Do not forget the same principal applies to fortifications and constructable defences.

Conan Unconquered can be played in singleplayer mode, co-op and online versus mode. Co-op mode will combine both of the players' resources into one uniform resource stack, meaning players will share resources and also building options. Enemies will (as expected) be much stronger in co-op play, this will mean players will have to strategize together to ensure their survival. Twitch and Riot Games are partnering up to bring both League of Legends players, and Twitch Prime subscribers a bunch of free in-game League rewards. I mean who doesn't like free stuff, right?

Riot Games and Twitch are deciding to tag-team together so they can work in unison on bringing gamers the best experience in game watching possible. To do this, Twitch Prime members will be able to claim up to four separate capsules that contain "random Skin shards, a random Legendary Skin shard, and Unique Emote".

After the player claims the first capsule 'Rift Herald Capsule' they will automatically receive another one every 30 days for four months straight. The following capsules are "Rift Herald's Capsule, Red Buff's Capsule, and Blue Buff's Capsule, followed by a Baron's Capsule". It should be noted that the final capsule includes a "random Permanent Legendary Skin on top of another random Skin Shard and exclusive Emote." Players will have until August 28th, 2019 to claim their first capsule, head on over to the website here to claim your free loot.

Yesterday The Pokemon Company announced a rather strange new "game" centered around monitoring people's sleeping habits. It's called Pokemon Sleep, and it sounds very weird.

Pokemon Sleep is a real thing. The game is centered around one singular albeit creepy concept: to turn sleeping into a new kind of entertainment experience. Pokemon Sleep, which is being developed by Magikarp Jump! developer Select Button, will reward gamers for good sleep habits. Nintendo has developed a special sleep-tracking peripheral called the Pokemon Go Plus + that connects to your smartphone and "extracts simple information for how long you sleep."

"The concept of this game is to have players look forward to waking up every morning. It uses information from the time they've spent sleeping and the time they wake up for a new kind of entertainment," Pokemon Company CEO Tsunekazu Ishihara said during the stream.

Sony might've pulled a switcheroo on our expectations: Death Stranding could launch in 2019 and The Last of Us Part II could be delayed.

Kojima Productions is set to reveal new Death Stranding info today in a new livestream, and Sony even broke out pre-order bonuses that strongly hint at a release date reveal. But the official Taiwanese PlayStation account might've spilled the beans early. In a now-deleted post, the overseas account says Death Stranding will release worldwide on November 8, 2019.

The Last of Us Part II, Sony's other big marquee console exclusive, may miss 2019 in favor of an early 2020 launch. Sources close to Sony tell Kotaku's Jason Schreier that Naughty Dog's sequel will launch in February 2020. This is an interesting move. Sony confirmed that software sales would be low this fiscal year due to a lower number of exclusives than last year, but the timings for both games fit in the company's FY2019 timeline.

It feels this past week has been bomb after bomb of Death Stranding hype-intensive news, and to add the cherry to the top of the cake we now have an official pre-order promo on the PlayStation Store.

The above screenshot comes from Twitter use Troy Kaz, and from the image we can see a small description of the title; "Sam Bridges must brave a world transformed by the Death Stranding. Carrying the remnants of our future in his hands, he embarks on a journey to reunite the shattered world."

We also have to the right of the description the pre-order bonus content, all of which seem to have shiny gold theme. We have the Gold "Sam" Sunglasses, the Gold Armor Plate, Gold Hat, and Gold Speed Skeleton. There is also a little reminder at the bottom right of the image that in-game items will be unlock via story progression. It is also mentioned that pre-ordering Death Stranding will give the player a dynamic theme and PSN avatar. Some not-so-welcomed news has surfaced regarding Super Mario Maker 2, as official confirmations have revealed that online friends will not be able to queue together. Yes, that is right, friends will not be able to play with each other online.

The news has come out from Nintendo World Report who have said that according to a Nintendo Treehouse representative, Super Mario Maker will only allow players to queue with random players online. The representative went on to explain that this will even be the case when players are seeking co-op or competitive play.

This will mean that the only way to play co-op or multiplayer with friends is through local, or wireless local play. According to Nintendo World Report, the reasoning behind this decision was "with global leaderboards, the matchmaking for competitive play would be compromised if you could play with friends. That limitation also extends to co-op play as well despite those not being leaderboard driven."

The release of Super Mario Maker 2 is only a month away, and we are already gotten a very decent look at the games course maker in a new preview.

The footage has come from AbdallahSmash026 who has said that he was invited by Nintendo to play Super Mario Maker 2 early before the games launch. Abdallah says that he would normally prefer "playing everyone else's stages" but was only allowed to record an attempt of building a stage himself. The stage wasn't necessarily completed, but nonetheless it gives us viewers a great display of what Super Mario Maker 2 can offer.

From the 10 minute long video we can see a variety of different features being used, such as sound integration throughout the level, enemies, grid layouts and much more. Hideo Kojima is at it once again with his Death Stranding teasers, as the director has said that "tomorrow is in your hands".

Following up on the Death Stranding teaser from a few days ago that revolved around the 'create the rope' concept, we have yet another bizzare teaser from Kojima. The new teaser has been released onto the official PlayStation Twitch Channel and features a weird loop video that allows viewers to peer through hand cut outs at brief moments of gameplay or cinematics. It is very unclear what these hands signify, and to throw even more confusion into the mix we can hear a womens voice saying things such as "we need to come together".

When I say that Capcom are gearing up for their coming Monster Hunter World DLC 'Iceborne', I mean that in the quite literal sense. New trailers have been released showcasing some the new weapons that will be apart of the soon to be released DLC.

Firstly, lets dive into what Iceborne actually is. Capcom will be bringing a brand new expansion to Monster Hunter World players. The expansion will contain a brand new region with brand new inhabitants, so yes, that means new monsters to slay. Players will be embarking on a mission with the Research Commission to explore the ice-cold region known as "Hoarfrost Reach".

Since players are traveling to a new region to slay a bunch of new monsters, new weapons to take these beasts down would surely be a necessary reward. That assumption is correct, the Iceborne DLC will be adding new weapons for players to enjoy and today we have three new weapons trailers to showcase; Clutch Claw, Great Sword and Long Sword. One trailer is located above and the other two are located in the entirety of this post. Monster Hunter World: Iceborne will be releasing on September 6th for PS4 and Xbox.

Computex 2019 - The stand out product that Cooler Master had at Computex 2019 this year for me would definitely have to be the surprise reveal of their first gaming desk, the Gaming Desk GD180.

Cooler Master's new Gaming Desk GD180 is a super-wide, fully-featured gaming desk that is height adjustable thanks to its dual motors, and rocks and seriously slick cable management at the back. We have dimensions of 180cm x 75cm x 62.5-125.5cm (the variable bit is because it is height adjustable, duh!).

We can expect the GD180 later this year with a price that isn't set in stone but expected to fall between $800-$900. There wasn't any RGB lighting on the model at Computex, but I've been told the final version will rock RGB goodness. This is an all-class gaming desk that will have to find a place in my office very, very soon.

As gaming addiction is now classified as a real mental disorder, the industry's biggest names pledge to tackle the problem. But how far are they willing to go?

Despite making billions from a video game business built around engagement, the strategy of hooking gamers to online titles in the hope of long-term spending, Sony plans to take the World Health Organization's gaming disorder designation quite seriously. Following Microsoft's vague affirmations to "curb overuse," Sony CEO Kenichiro Yoshida says it too must take steps to reduce gaming stress.

"We need to take it seriously and adopt countermeasures," Mr. Yoshida told Japanese outlet Kyodo News. "We've already implemented a ratings system (to restrict players by age) and have been taking measures based on our own standards."

Computex 2019 - NVIDIA didn't unveil any new graphics cards at Computex this year, so ZOTAC didn't have too much new in the graphics card department to unveil but that doesn't mean they were silent.

The company brings eyes to their booth in Nangang with what I would call the world's largest graphics card, which looked freaking awesome with its RGB lighting glowing and flowing.

ZOTAC was showing off their new single slot GeForce RTX 2080 Ti ArcticStorm graphics card, which looked super slick in person and super slim with its single slot design.

Computex 2019 - ASUS unveiled its big and beautiful ROG Strix XG438Q gaming monitor at CES 2019 and once again at Computex 2019.

A refresher on the ASUS ROG Strix XG438Q -- it's a huge 43-inch 4K monitor with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and support for HDR. ASUS has tapped AU Optronics for a VA panel so we have great contrast ratios compared to IPS and TN panels, with peak brightness of 450 nits and up to 600 nits for HDR content while it rocks 90% DCI-P3 wide color gamut.

I didn't get time today to play with it but I intend on spending time with the ROG Strix XG438Q during the week and I've told ASUS reps that I want the first panel that arrives in Australia and I have my wallet ready.

Computex 2019 - MSI officially unveiled their GeForce RTX 2080 Ti LIGHTNING Z at Computex 2019 but something went a little further under the radar: a new pink variant of the LIGHTNING Z.

It looks pretty damn cool in person, and I'm sure any fans of pink and girl gamers out there that want to spend some serious cash on a graphics card are going to dive at this card.

The backplate also looks cool with its pink textured styling.

Mortal Kombat 11 has been quite the hit in the long time running series and now a new announcement from the games director has teased the titles coming DLC fighters. Who do you think will take the spotlight?

Ed Boon, the director of Mortal Kombat has Tweeted out on his personal Twitter account a gif "It has begun". This is in reference to the DLC fighters being prepared for reveal, Boon says that "if all goes well, next week we will be announcing the fighters that will be joining Shang Tsung in Mortal Kombat 11's DLC !!"

This isn't the first time we have heard about DLC fighters coming to Mortal Kombat 11, last month there was a supposed 'leaked roster' that included the likes of; Nightwolf, Sindel, Fujin, Sheeva, Joker, Terminatior, Spawn and Ash Williams. Its not clear how accurate this "leak" is, but the information was retrieved through data mining. Hopefully everything goes to plan for Boon and his team and sometime next week we get a reveal and perhaps a character introduction trailer. Mortal Kombat 11 is currently available on the Xbox One, PS4, PC and Nintendo Switch.

Computex 2019 - Day one of Computex 2019 has come to a close and during our trek across the show floor of Nangang we stumbled upon an unannounced AMD Ryzen 3000 series CPU at the Colorful booth.

The CPU in question is the Ryzen 5 3400G which is a 4C/8T chip on the Zen+ CPU architecture but this processor packs Radeon Vega graphics. The AMD Ryzen 5 3400G processor has a base clock of 3.7GHz and boost clock of 4.2GHz, and while we were there we ran 3DMark's TimeSpy benchmark (of course). As for the GPU side of things, we have Radeon RX Vega 11 graphics on-board.

The TimeSpy benchmark resulted in a total score of 1149 and graphics score of 1022, while the CPU score was 3940 -- putting it into Ryzen 5 2400G territory.

It has almost been an entire decade since we have had a decent Simpsons game on consoles and PC, as most the development efforts have been sueded over to mobile.

Maybe its time for a change, maybe its time for Simpson's Hit and Run 2, or at least that is what I hope will be discussed at The Simpson's panel at E3 2019. I remember playing Simpson's Hit and Run as a kid and having an absolute blast tearing through Springfield in my rocket car, perhaps I will be able to relive those memories in a more technologically and graphically updated follow-up title?

The above announcement has come from the official E3 Twitter page, and they are proud to announce that the writers and producers of the long running TV show will be having their own panel at E3 on June 11th. It is unclear what the topics of discussion will be, but the panel will be at E3 so it can at least be assumed that the conversations will revolve somewhat around games, or perhaps a new game. We will have to wait and see what happens, hopefully we get a next-gen Simpsons title to look forward to in the near to late future.
