NVIDIA has some fresh new GeForce drivers released that are Game Ready for Call of Duty: Warzone, the new battle royale focused game mode that sees up to 150 players battling it out in Call of Duty's usual signature gameplay.

The new GeForce Game Ready 442.59 drivers have day one optimizations not just for Call of Duty: Warzone, but they also fix some issues with NBA 2K20 and others. There are some issues included with these drivers that I'm sure will be ironed out with the next release, but for now you'll want to grab them if you're wanting to jump into Call of Duty: Warzone.

Indie publisher Devolver Digital tells journalists and gamers to cancel their E3 hotels and flights, signalling this year's annual convention has been shut down.

E3 2020 should be the next casualty of the coronavirus outbreak. Games publisher Devolver Digital just told its Twitter followers to cancel and trip plans to Los Angeles. Multiple sources have also told Kotaku's Jason Schreier that the event has been shuttered to limit the possible spread of COVID-19.

Sources tell industry journalist Mike Futter that E3's cancellation will be announced tomorrow morning.

Cyberpunk 2077 is another step closer towards being finished, after it was delayed a couple of months back -- inking in a new release date of September 17, 2020.

CD Projekt RED boss Adam Badowski tweeted out that Cyberpunk 2077 has been submitted for age classification, with the game being sent out to "age rating agencies around the world", this includes PEGI, ESRB, and others. Badowski added that "While we wait for the game to get rated, we work on polishing technical aspects and playtesting it. Game is looking better and better with each passing day!"

We are just a single step closer to Cyberpunk 2077 now, and it is truly great to hear directly from CD Projekt RED that they're now "polishing technical aspects and playtesting" the game. Even better when the game is "looking better and better with each passing day". It brings a smile to my face.

We're in the final home stretch for the release of DOOM Eternal, with Bethesda releasing the final system requirements for the game and adding in a monster new 'Ultra Nightmare' graphics mode. The previous PC requirements for DOOM Eternal only included the minimum and recommended specs, the new ones include a lot of changes and add in the new Ultra Nightmare requirements.

DOOM Eternal drops on March 20 and if you want to play it how the developers at id Software envisioned, then you're going to need quite the monster rig. id Software has added in a new 'Ultra Nightmare' requirements listing, where you'll need a PC as fast as the Devil himself to run it at either 4K 60FPS or 1440p 120FPS.

The developer recommends an Intel Core i9-9900K or AMD Ryzen 7 3700X processor (or better), 16GB of RAM, 50GB of HDD space, and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti graphics card.

Google has just asked all of its US-based employees to work from home if it's possible in their roles, effective immediately and through to April 10 over the current coronavirus / COVID-19 outbreak.

Business Insider has confirmed the news with Google itself, with the search giant asking staff based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Dublin, and Seattle to work from home over the last week or so. Google staff that are required to be physically present at their jobs will be okay, as Google will keep its offices open.

Google CEO Sundar Pichai tweeted out that people should "contribute" to "social distancing" if you are able to as it "helps the overall community spread and most importantly, will help offset the peak loads through critical healthcare systems and also saves it for people in need".

The world is getting a little scary with all the fear mongering over coronavirus / COVID-19, but now New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo is deploying the National Guard to New Rochelle to establish a "containment area" in what feels like it was ripped directly from Tom Clancy's The Division game.

Gov. Cuomo said on Tuesday that starting this Friday (13th of March) that all schools, large gathering places and houses of worships will be closed for 2 weeks. The new containment area will have a 1-mile radius, which will be centered around a synagogue that is reportedly the center of the cluster of the coronavirus outbreak in New Rochelle.

New York's Nassau County have 19 confirmed coronavirus cases, including 2 school bus drivers that took around 80 students through many routes in Long Island. Nassau County Executive Laura Curran confirmed that most of the students' families have been contacted by the Department of Health.

2K Games will soon make new NFL games, but EA reminds everyone that it still has total exclusivity on NFL football simulators.

NFL 2K is back...what kind of. Not really. 2K Games just signed a big multi-year deal with the NFL to make new games using league players, teams, and likenesses. There's just one catch: These titles aren't sports sims. That means the classic NFL 2K isn't returning and EA will still have a monopoly on one of gaming's most profitable genres.

After the announcement, EA was quick to issue a press release to tell its investors that Madden games aren't going anywhere. 2K games won't compete with EA on the same playing field. 2K is playing the same sport, but they're really not even playing in the same league.

Norman Reedus is currently in talks to work with Hideo Kojima on a new project, the actor confirmed in a recent Wired interview.

Death Stranding shouldn't be the end of Kojima's and Reedus' professional relationship. The Walking Dead star says he's interested in working with Kojima on upcoming projects, and is currently discussing another collaboration with the Metal Gear Solid creator. Reedus could end up being the lead man in KojiPro's next big game.

"We did Death Stranding, which was a huge hit, and we're in talks to do other stuff," Reedus said in the interview.

2K Games is going to make football games again, but don't expect the NFL 2K series to come back any time soon.

Today 2K Games announced a big multi-year deal with the NFL to make new football titles using league teams. These new games won't be Madden-style sports sims, so expect manager-style strategy games and maybe even NBA Playgrounds-esque titles. The projects--plural, as there are many--are currently in early development and the first game won't release until 2021.

Sports games are a hallmark of Take-Two's business and expansion on this front makes sense. 2K Games and its parent company Take-Two Interactive earn hundreds of millions every year from annualized sports games, and the NBA 2K franchise is massively profitable thanks to its tremendous selling power and in-game monetization strategies. In Q3'20, NBA 2K led Take-Two's $344 million in quarterly microtransaction earnings and also strongly contributed to sales during the holiday period.

Starting with Horizon Zero Dawn, Sony is set to follow Microsoft's lead and break console exclusivity on its biggest IPs. Guerrilla's landmark adventure will be the first PlayStation 4 exclusive to cross over to PC in summer 2020. Sony is careful to say that not every game will cross over to PC, though.

Even after Wastelanders releases next month, Fallout 76 will continue to shift, evolve and change throughout 2020.

Wastelanders is a defining moment for Fallout 76's comeback story. The free expansion will add NPCs with actual dialog sequences and new story-driven questlines to the game, complete with instanced dungeons and areas that mimic singleplayer Fallout games. In a very real sense, Fallout 76 is going back to the series' roots. But that's not the end for Fallout 76's redemption. Bethesda has a lot more planned throughout the year and beyond.

Fallout 76 was somewhat of a cheap and unfinished cash grab that started out as a PVP mode for Fallout 4. It was really meant to be a playground that monetized online elements and restricted singleplayer while adding multiplayer. Bethesda soon found out no one really wanted this kind of game, and they've spent the last year and a half trying to roll back their mistakes.

Today Lego officially teased Super Mario figures and sets on Twitter, but no actual info has come out from Nintendo. According to an accidental post by Game.uk, the games-maker will hold a surprise Nintendo Direct showcase highlighting all the details. This makes sense considering Nintendo is extremely protective over its IPs and will only agree to partnerships if it has total control over certain things.

One of the most legendary real-time-strategy series will soon be getting a fresh announcement, and here is where you are going to find out about it.

According to the official Command & Conquer Twitter page, there will be a new announcement tomorrow regarding the Command & Conquer franchise. The post on the Twitter page didn't reveal what the "new intel" will be about, but it's assumed that we could possibly be getting a fresh teaser trailer for the remastered titles, or perhaps even a trailer for a new game altogether.

Command & Conquer Remastered and Command & Conquer Red Alert Remastered will feature an overhaul for both of the game's visuals and audio. On top of that, both games will also get multiplayer reworks with the addition of dedicated servers, custom matches, lobby chat, and a one-on-one quick quick-match mode. At the moment, neither title has a release date, but with any luck tomorrows announcement should reveal that.

According to a survey conducted by ComfySacks on over 1,000 American gamers, the top 10 video game franchises are the most played; Super Mario Bros., Pac-Man, Mario Kart, Tetris, Donkey Kong, Sonic the Hedgehog, Grand Theft Auto V, Mortal Kombat, Guitar Hero and Duck Hunt. But which video game franchises cause the most stress for gamers? The survey gathered results on the 'Percentage Experiencing Stress While Gaming By Playing Frequency'. The results are as follows, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (47.4%), Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 (42.3%), Fortnite (41.7%), Halo: Firestorm (29.4%) and Resident Evil 2 (27.8%).

The survey found that for the majoritory of gamers first-person-shooter (FPS) titles are the genre of gaming that causes the most stress. The second most stressful genre is multiplayer online battle arena games (MOBA). So how do gamers combat this stress? Well, perhaps the answer is more simple than you'd expect - comfortability. The survey also measured what gamers are sitting on while they are playing and how the comfortability of what they are sitting on affects their stress levels.

Mortal Kombat fans should be shaking in their boots with excitement for the new animated film called Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion's Revenge.

This wouldn't be a Mortal Kombat if it wasn't blood-soaked action, and that's exactly what is seen in the latest Red Band trailer that just released. The trailer was released on the official Mortal Kombat Twitter page, and we can see what part of the Mortal Kombat universe the story will surround. If the title of the movie wasn't a dead giveaway, this animated movie will focus on Scorpion's revenge on Sub-Zero for murdering his family.

If you are a Mortal Kombat fan, then you'd probably already know the story between Scorpion and Sub-Zero, but if you aren't, here's a quick breakdown. In the trailer, we see Sub-Zero murder Hanzo's (Scorpion) entire family and almost kill Hanzo. Hanzo is then quickly saved by the sorcerer Quan Chi who then resurrects Hanzo to fight in a "once in a generation" tournament. Hanzo then gives up his name, saying, "Hanzo is dead, call me Scorpion", and will compete in this tournament to get revenge on Sub-Zero.

If the teaser trailer is anything to off by, we can see a new style of Worm destroying most of the previous Worms games on a TV. Perhaps this a metaphorical reference of Team17 throwing out the old style of Worms games and introducing something brand new, as they mentioned in the description - "Get ready for Worms like you've never played before!". Even if the teaser trailer is meaningless, Team17 will really have to be cooking up something unique for the Worms franchise, or it will just feel like a re-skinned previous title with small additions.

GameStop has announced a brand new board member, and its none other than former Nintendo of America CEO Reggie Fils-Aime.

It has been known for quite a while that GameStop is struggling as a business, there have been layoffs across the board, and now a video game industry legend is going to be stepping in to save it. GameStop has announced three members who will be joining its board of directors, and one of those members is former Nintendo of America CEO, Reggie Fils-Aime. The two others are former Walmart US President, Bill Simon, and PetSmart Chief J.K. Symncyk.

Reggie Fils-Aime took to his personal Twitter to announce the news, saying that the "gaming industry needs a healthy and vibrant GameStop". Reggie and the other board members are going to have their work cut out for them, as every day, the gaming industry moves further and further away from buying physical media and more towards online purchasing. GameStop will most likely have to change how its entire business is run, and slowly faze out of physical media sales and morph into something brand new and attractive.

DOOM fans are no doubt excited for the release of DOOM Eternal, and long-time DOOM fans are no doubt more than excited for the re-release of DOOM 64.

Gamers who pre-ordered DOOM Eternal will also get a DOOM 64 as a bonus game, which is a big deal since the title has never seen a re-release. Since DOOM 64 is being ported over by id Software and Nightdive Studios, both developers are working hard to make this re-release special, and what better way to make it special then to add some brand new content to DOOM 64.

According to Nightdives's Samuel Villareal, DOOM 64 will be landing in gamers' hands with a brand new unlockable chapter in the Doomguy's saga. This new chapter will take place shortly the original DOOM 64 campaign came to a close and will be a continuation of the game's story. Players who complete the last chapter of DOOM 64 will be rewarded with extra lore about the series.

Half-Life: Alyx is right around the corner with Valve releasing the VR-focused game set in the Half-Life universe, with its release on March 23 -- and its hype is driving Valve to sell out of its Valve Index VR headsets almost instantly. Valve also sold 103,000 of its flagship Valve Index VR headsets after it revealed Half-Life: Alyx.

Valve opened up a new wave of Index headsets on March 9, and within 30 minutes they were sold out. There were some customers who were locked out of their Index sales with issues on Valve's own website -- where they refreshed and lost their headset. I can't imagine the pain to their soul, as it would've crushed me, too.

The new wave of Valve Index headsets will be sent out in the next 8-10 weeks, while Index controllers will ship in 3-5 weeks. If you were looking at spoiling yourself and buying a Valve Index for Half-Life: Alyx on March 23, you'd be waiting until at least sometime in May before you're playing it on your Valve Index if you ordered your new VR headset today.

Since the fruition of the company, Tesla has been hard at work manufacturing and pioneering electric vehicles, but now is a time for celebration.

According to a recent Twitter post by Tesla CEO and Founder, Elon Musk, Tesla has officially manufactured its 1,000,000 car. This is quite an achievement for the electric vehicle manufacturer and should not go understated, considering the company's market cap value recently hit an all-time high. It should also be mentioned that throughout 2019, Tesla sold 367,000 cars, yet still managed to exceed German car manufacturer Volkswagen's market cap despite Volkswagen selling 11 million cars.

Tesla is on a roll, and there's no doubt that 2020 will be another big year for the company as well. The company has a lot of public support behind it, as it's pioneering the new age of electric vehicles. Other vehicle manufacturers are following in Tesla's footsteps and are attempting to create competitor vehicles, which is great for the consumer. So I can imagine that the electric vehicle market for 2020 and beyond is only just getting started, as more and more companies get on board with alternative electric vehicles.
