Dell's refreshed XPS 17: Tiger Lake-H CPU, up to 64GB RAM and 4TB SSD
Dell has refreshed its XPS 15 and XPS 17 gaming notebooks with Intel's new 11th Gen Core "Tiger Lake-H" processors, with the flagship XPS 17 packing some serious specs.
The new Dell XPS 17 can be configured with 4 different Intel 11th Gen Core CPUs: the flagship Core i9-11980HK, Core i9-11900H, Core i7-11800H, or Core i5-11400H processor. You can tweak the XPS 17 with up to 64GB of DDR4-3200 RAM, and up to 4TB of PCIe 4.0 M.2 SSD storage.
On the GPU side of things, there are two options for the Dell XPS 17: NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 3060 or GeForce RTX 3050 as well as the integrated GPU on the processor.

AORUS 17X gaming laptop: Core i9-11980HK, GeForce RTX 3080 + 300Hz LCD
GIGABYTE unveiled a new family of laptops powered by Intel's just-introduced 11th Gen Core "Tiger Lake-H" processors, with the flagship Core i9-11980HK used inside of the new flagship AORUS 17X gaming laptop.
The new AORUS 17X gaming laptop not only packs Intel's new Core i9-11980HK processor, but NVIDIA's super-fast GeForce RTX 3080 Laptop GPU with 16GB of GDDR6 memory, and a 17.3-inch IPS display with a native 1080p resolution and super-fast esports-ready 300Hz refresh rate.
But the thing is, that the flagship AORUS 17X gaming laptop is only here for a "limited return" says GIGABYTE -- packing a Vapor Chamber cooler that the company says boosts the cooling capacity of the AORUS 17X gaming laptop by 37%.

ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16: super-thin 16-inch laptop with up to 48GB RAM
ASUS has just announced its first-ever 16-inch laptop with the introduction of the new ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16 gaming laptop, which features a 16-inch 1440p 165Hz display with a 16:10 aspect ratio.
Inside, we have Intel's new 11th Gen Core i9-11900H processor, and the option of NVIDIA's new GeForce RTX 3070, GeForce RTX 3060, or GeForce RTX 3050 Ti graphics cards. ASUS keeps the ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16 gaming laptop cool through its ROG Intelligent Cooling technology, which will chill the CPU + GPU as much as it can.
You can tweak the ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16 with up to 48GB of DDR4-3200 RAM, and up to 2TB of PCIe 4.0 SSD storage which can be boosted by another M.2 SSD inside of the ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16.

ASUS ROG Zephyrus S17 gaming laptop packs 17-inch 4K 120Hz display
ASUS has just announced its flagship new ASUS ROG Zephyrus S17 gaming laptop, packing Intel's new 11th Gen Core i9-11900H processor -- but I think more importantly: a gigantic 17-inch 4K 120Hz display.
4K at 120FPS isn't easy so ASUS has paired the new Core i9-11900H processor with NVIDIA's latest GeForce RTX 3080 Laptop GPU that through Dynamic Boost can chew down 140W. ASUS has provided some monster cooling inside of its new ROG Zephyrus G17 gaming laptop in the form of its innovative "AAS Plus" cooling system, which will physically lift to keep the laptop running cooler.
Yeah, the actual keyboard raises at a 5-degree angle which opens up wide vents that let the Arc Flow fans have more room to pull more air into the laptop. ASUS also uses liquid metal thermal compound on the CPU that runs Intel's new Core i9-11900H as cool as it can -- but also more importantly, as quiet as it can. You don't want a huge, stomping 17-inch gaming laptop that's loud AF, either.

Razer's new Blade 15 gaming laptop: Intel Tiger Lake-H + RTX 30 GPU
Razer has just unveiled its new Blade 15 gaming laptop which packs Intel's just-released 11th Gen Core CPUs codenamed Tiger Lake-H as well as NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 series GPUs.
Inside of the new Razer Blade 15 we're looking at up to the Core i9-11900H processor (2.5GHz base block and up to 4.9GHz boost clock), a GeForce RTX 3080 graphics card with 16GB of GDDR6 memory, and up to a 4K touchscreen. There are plenty of 1080p and 1440p resolution options with super-fast refresh rates, too, so don't worry.
Razer has coated its new Blade 15 gaming laptops with a fingerprint-resistant coating, so you shouldn't get your grubby mitts all smudged across the laptop after a while. The company has also made the new Blade 15 Advanced gaming laptop thinner at the same time, at just 15.8mm thick -- Razer claims it now has the smallest 15-inch gaming laptop with a GeForce RTX series GPU.

AORUS 15 OLED gaming laptop: Core i9-11900HK + RTX 3080 + 4K 60Hz OLED
GIGABYTE is about to launch its new range of laptops powered by Intel's next-gen Tiger Lake-H processors, with the introduction of the new AERO 17 HDR and AERO 15 OLED aimed at content creators.
The new AERO 15 OLED can be optioned with either the Intel Core i9-11980HK (2.6GHz to 5.0GHz) or the Core i7-11800H (2.3GHz to 4.6GHz). You've got 3 options of GPUs with the AERO 15 OLED, with NVIDIA's new GeForce RTX 3080 with either 8GB or 16GB of GDDR6 memory with a boost clock of up to 1245MHz.
There's also the GeForce RTX 3070 with 8GB of GDDR6 and boost clocks of up to 1290MHz, and the GeForce RTX 3060 with 6GB of GDDR6 and boost clocks of up to 1530MHz. All of the GPUs on offer inside of the AERO 15 OLED have a 105W TDP.

GIGABYTE's new AORUS 17X YD: Core i9-11980H + RTX 3080 with 16GB GDDR6
ASUS is readying its new ROG Zephyrus G16 and G17 gaming laptops powered by Intel's next-gen Tiger Lake-H mobile processors and now GIGABYTE's new AORUS 17X YD laptop has been teased.
GIGABYTE is preparing to launch multiple new gaming laptops in its AORUS, AERO, and G-Series families with Intel's latest Tiger Lake-H processor. The flagship AORUS 17X YD gaming laptop packs an unlocked Tiger Lake-H CPU in the form of the new Intel Core i9-11980H.
GPU wise we have NVIDIA's new GeForce RTX 3080 Max-P with 16GB of GDDR6, the GPU has a TDP of up to 165W through Dynamic Boost. All of that CPU and GPU grunt is not used to that great appeal with GIGABYTE opting for a large 17.3-inch display but low 1080p 300Hz resolution. I hate saying that a 300 frames per second monitor is disappointing, but a 1440p 165Hz IPS panel would've been a much better choice here.

ASUS shows off ROG Zephyrus M16 + S17 gaming laptops with Tiger Lake-H
ASUS has teased two of its new gaming laptops powered by Intel's new Tiger Lake-H processors, with the company showcasing its new ROG Zephyrus M16 and S17. The trailer is full-on typical ASUS fashion and makes me miss Computex all that more. Check it out:
The new ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16 and S17 gaming laptops will offer Intel's new rockin' CPU series as it is a big upgrade over previous-gen mobile CPU offerings from Intel. The new Tiger Lake 8-core H-series CPUs will be made on Intel's new 10nm SuperFin architecture, have PCIe 4.0 support (yay for super-fast SSDs) and pack NVIDIA's latest GeForce RTX 30 series GPUs.
ASUS is launching its first-ever 16-inch laptop with the introduction of the new ROG Zephyrus M16, which will have a 16:10 aspect ratio display. As for the bigger ROG Zephyrus M17 gaming laptop it will have a new titled keyboard design, which is not too different from the dual-screen ASUS ROG Zephyrus Duo laptop. In place of the second screen the keyboard gets placed at a titled angle for improved comfort.

ASUS ROG Zephryus S17 high-end gaming laptop to be revealed on May 11
ASUS is about to reveal their next-gen ROG Zephryus S17 laptop, which will rock Intel's also-next-gen Tiger Lake-H processor. The new ASUS ROG Zephryus S17 gaming laptops will be revealed on May 11.
The special May 11 reveal event will see ASUS unveil its latest ultra-premium design inside of the next-gen ROG Zephryus S17 gaming laptop, which packs special cooling enhancing technology that raises the laptop up and off your desk in a way that increases airflow under the laptop -- thus, keeping it cooler.
The current-gen ASUS ROG Zephryus S17 does this, so we should only expect the same if not better with the next version of the ROG Zephryus S17 gaming laptop. ASUS has put the keyboard higher than the previous-gen ROG Zephryus S17 laptops, but man do I want to see that hinge working IRL right now, please.

Samsung Galaxy Book Odyssey: Tiger Lake-H CPU + GeForce RTX 3050 Ti
Samsung has just teased its new gaming-focused Galaxy Book Odyssey, which is powered by Intel's new 11th Gen Core processor based on the Tiger Lake-H series as well as NVIDIA's new GeForce RTX 3050 Ti GPU.
Funnily enough both the Intel Tiger Lake-H series and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti GPU have not been announced, although we do know that Intel's new Tiger Lake-S series will be available in 6-core and 8-core models but Samsung hasn't been clear on which exact CPU, the core count or frequency just yet.
Samsung's new Galaxy Book Odyssey is powered by NVIDIA's unannounced GeForce RTX 3050 Ti GPU will have 2560 CUDA cores and 4GB of GDDR6 memory, so you won't be running Cyberpunk 2077 at 4K 60FPS but you'll be able to play many games without an issue on that GPU -- which I'll want to test myself, of course.

Razer is working on a new high-end 14-inch gaming notebook with a new Blade 14 gaming laptop that packs an AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 graphics card.
The new Razer Blade 14 gaming laptop packs the new Zen 3-based mobile CPU, which is the first AMD processor inside of a Razer laptop so far. Not only that, but the AMD processor will be joined by an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 -- and not an upcoming Radeon mobile GPU design.
The leak is coming from @_rogame on Twitter, teasing the "Razer P1411" gaming notebook -- a new 14-inch gaming laptop that Razer hasn't released with a new Ampere GPU yet. Razer has got Blade 15 and Blade 17 gaming notebooks with NVIDIA's latest-gen Ampere GPUs inside of them but not in a 14-inch laptop, yet... that is.

AMD launching Radeon RX 6000 mobile GPUs soon, maybe, probably
AMD has its new RDNA 2 architecture powering the new Radeon RX 6000 series desktop graphics cards, as well as the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles but now it's time for laptops to get some of that Big Navi lovin'.
AMD recently announced the new Radeon RX 6700 XT graphics card powered by the new Navi 22 GPU and 12GB of GDDR6 memory, starting at $479 -- during this announcement CVP and GM of AMD Radeon, Scott Herkleman, said that the RDNA 2 architecture would soon make its debut inside of some new gaming laptops.
There's not much known about the RDNA 2-powered mobile GPUs apart from previous rumors on the TGP, which were from December 2020. At the time, Patrick Schur tweeted that Navi 22 (Mobile) would have a 146W TGP and 192-bit memory interface, while more offerings will be powered by NV22 and come in with 135W, 110W, and 90 TGPs and 160-bit memory interface.

Apple's next-gen M1X specs: 12-core SoC, 16-core GPU, 32GB RAM support
Apple has already impressed with its M1 SoC but its next-gen M1X is looking to really ramp things up in every department: CPU, GPU, RAM support, and more.
The next-gen Apple M1X will reportedly have a 12-core CPU up from the 8-core CPU in the M1 chip -- with the 12-core CPU being clocked at up to 3.2GHz. The 12 cores will be split in to 8 x Firestorm performance cores, and 4 x Icestorm power-efficient cores.
As for GPU cores we're looking at the Apple M1X reportedly packing a 16-core GPU, double the 8-core GPU inside of the M1 with the 16-core GPU including 256 execution units. We should expect double the GPU performance out of Apple's new M1X chip over the original M1 from the doubling in GPU cores and execution units.

ASUS ROG Zephyrus Duo 15 user flashes vBIOS, makes its RTX 3080 faster
ASUS ROG Zephyrus Duo 15 gaming laptop pack NVIDIA's new GeForce RTX 3080 laptop GPU, but with a default TGP of 115W. Well, some users are flashing their laptops with custom vBIOSes and driving the TGP up to 150W.
A few users on the Baidu forums have said that they've flashed their ASUS ROG Zephyrus Duo 15 gaming laptop from the GeForce RTX 3080 laptop GPU with its 115W TGP up to the GeForce RTX 3080 laptop GPU at 150W. Increasing the power limit should let the GPU drive more power through it, thus driving the GPU clock up -- and improving performance, which is what this is all about.
If you go to the GeForce RTX 3080 mobile GPU benchmark scores for 3DMark Time Spy you'll see that the top results are from this laptop -- powered by AMD's new Ryzen 9 5900HX processor and the aforementioned NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 laptop GPU with its custom vBIOS.
