Samsung has just introduced its new 9100 PRO Gen5 SSD with capacities of up to 8TB, and read speeds of up to 14.8GB/sec.

The new Samsung 9100 PRO is a new Gen5 SSD available in 1TB, 2TB, 4TB, and monster 8TB capacities, with close to double the read and write speeds from its Gen4-based 990 PRO SSD. Samsung's new 9100 PRO pushes out up to 14.8GB/sec (14,800MB/sec) read speeds, and up to 13.4GB/sec (13,400MB/sec) writes.

Inside, the new 9100 PRO is using Samsung's in-house V NAND TLC (V8) and eight-gen Vertical NAND, which uses the 1-terabit TLC technology that is capable of reaching up to 2.4Gbps of I/O speed, offering 1.2x the boost compared to the previous-gen SSD. Samsung's new 9100 PRO Gen5 SSD also features greatly improved random read/write speeds with up to 2200K / 2600K IOPS, much higher than the 1400K / 1550K random read/write speeds on the 990 PRO.

Windows 11 is about to get a new Gamepad keyboard layout that'll facilitate typing on your PC using an Xbox controller.

This is a feature which has been in testing for some time, but it has now arrived in the latest preview build of Windows 11 in the Release Preview channel (build 26100.3613).

That is, of course, the final testing stage before features hit the finished version of Windows 11, so we should be getting the new Gamepad keyboard soon enough.

Pocketpair, the developer of the hit game Palworld has released the much awaited update that adds cross-play across all platforms.

The new update, which has already been rolled out, is v0.5.0 and enables players to store their data in what is called a Global Palbox that can be used to transfer between worlds. Notably, the update also has a Dimensional Pal Storage, which has 10x the capacity of a regular Palbox and can also be used for personal storage with private settings. The new update also enables players to change the appearance of their armor without affecting any stats, which, for those who are familiar with MMORPG/RPG titles, is essentially transmog.

Additionally, Pocketpair has added a Photo Mode, which players can access from the Pal Command Wheel. When activated, it will hide the UI, and players will be able to move the camera around to their desired location to snap a screenshot. The update also includes a Drafting Table that enables players to combine low-rarity blueprints to create higher-rarity ones.

Microsoft is ending support for Windows 10 this year and has reminded users of the operating system that its support severance is approaching.

Windows 10 is still the world's most popular operating system according to data gathered by StatCounter, which states Microsoft's previous generation operating system still accounts for 58% of the desktop Windows market share worldwide.

By comparison, Windows 11 accounts for 38%. Microsoft has now begun sending emails out to Windows 10 users to inform them the world's most popular operating system is officially losing support on October 14, 2025, and following that date, machines running Windows 10 will no longer receive critical software updates such as security patches, meaning these machines will exponentially become more vulnerable to malware, and hacking.

Google has shared an update on the ongoing situation with its Chromecast (2nd gen) and Chromecast Audio devices that suddenly stopped working on March 9.

Google acknowledged that affected devices around the world were no longer responding in a Google Nest update on March 11, saying the company was aware of the outage and that it was working on a fix. Additionally, Google requested owners of affected devices not to factory reset their devices as a means of troubleshooting, but as you can probably imagine, by the time the post was live, many users had already attempted a factory reset.

Now, Google has put out a new update informing users that the disruption has been fixed. For users who factory reset their devices, the following will need to be done to get the device working again.

As announced in a recent press release, Samsung will be rolling out its One UI 7 update from April 7, introducing a range of features to older devices-previously only available on the Galaxy S25 series.

Among the new features is a refreshed design and layout. With what Samsung describes as a "streamlined, emotive" design, users will see an updated home screen, lock screen, and redesigned One UI widgets, bringing a fresh look to older Galaxy devices.

Now Bar, one of the AI-powered features introduced with the S25, will also be made available on select devices - allowing users to get real-time updates on the lock screen for select apps. Galaxy AI features will also receive an expansion, bringing tools like AI Select, Writing Assist, and Audio Eraser. AI Select can recognize on-screen content and suggest actions, while Writing Assist can summarize or auto-format text. Audio Eraser, meanwhile, allows users to remove unwanted background noise from videos by isolating different sound types.

It's been over 15 years since the original Plants vs. Zombies released back in 2009. Since then, we've seen nearly a dozen variations - from pinball games to third-person shooters and mobile card games. It looks like another entry might be added to the list, with Plants vs. Zombies Reloaded spotted in Brazil's federal classification records.

As reported by Gematsu, Plants vs. Zombies Reloaded has been rated for PS5, Xbox Series, Switch, PC, iOS, and Android in Brazil. The record lists the "year of manufacture" as 2009, and the alternate title suggests that the listing is likely for a remaster of the original game.

There's also a possibility that it could be a remaster of Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare - the casual third-person shooter often described as a mix between Battlefield, Overwatch, and Team Fortress 2. However, with no official announcement, the classification is all we have to go off at this stage.

Space is a weird, beautiful, and terrifying place, but sometimes, it can produce some of the most awe-inspiring pieces of art, such as what veteran NASA astronaut Don Petitt just captured.

Petitt, who is stationed aboard the International Space Station (ISS), has captured what looks like the ending of Christopher Nolan's "Interstellar" when Cooper passes through the black hole and is spat out the other side into the fourth dimension. However, unlike Interstellar, this is completely real footage captured by a real-life astronaut.

So, what is it? Petitt set up his camera to perform a long exposure shot of the Earth out of the window of the SpaceX Crew Dragon capsule called Freedom. The long streaks seen in the image/video are star trails created as the ISS flies over the Earth at 14,500 mph.

NVIDIA has announced at GTC a new partnership with Disney Research and Google DeepMind to develop Newton, a new open-source physics engine designed to simulate robotic movements in real-world settings.

The new platform is built on top of the NVIDIA Warp framework and is designed to optimize robot learning and be compatible with other frameworks, such as Google DeepMind's MuJoCo-Warp and NVIDIA Isaac Lab. Additionally, NVIDIA, Disney, and Google DeepMind plan to enable Newton to be compatible with Disney's physics engine, which will be used to advance its robotic character platform, increasing the power of its next-generation entertainment robots.

In its press release, NVIDIA writes that Disney will be one of the first companies to use Newton. Newton will power Star Wars-inspired BDX droids that will now begin to appear in Disney theme parks. One of these droids joined NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang on stage, with Huang saying that NVIDIA is committed to "bringing more characters to life in a way the world hasn't seen before."

Snail Games has unlisted the trailer for ARK: Aquatica, the latest Ark: Survival Evolved DLC, following a wave of backlash over its heavy use of AI-generated content. While still viewable through a direct link, the trailer has been pulled from the studio's channel and can no longer be found on YouTube's broader platform.

Instead, it's quickly become a subject of controversy, as viewers pointed out that nearly every aspect of the trailer appeared AI-generated - from the voiceover narration to the CGI-style visuals.

NVIDIA's GPU Technology Conference (GTC) has kicked into high gear with a slew of various announcements, and one that stands out is Dell's new monstrous workstation powered by NVIDIA's latest Superchip.

Dell has unveiled the Pro Max with GB300 at GTC, and the system is nothing short of shocking when it comes to processing power as it is capable of 20-petaFLOPs. What's inside? Almost every bell and whistle you can think of when it comes to a workstation desktop, with the system featuring NVIDIA's latest GB300 Grace Blackwell Ultra Desktop Superchip that features an NVIDIA Blackwell Ultra GPU with next-generation Tensor Cores and FP4 precision. Additionally, the system features 784 GB of unified system memory - 288GB of HBM3e within the GPU and 496GB of LPDDR5X for the CPU.

As you can probably imagine, this system has been optimized for large-scale AI training workloads, hence the inclusion of the NVIDIA ConnectX-8 SuperNIC, which ushers in support for an insane networking speed of 800Gbps. Dell intends the system to be used by developers who are looking to test prototypes and scale their AI models into production environments. Moreover, the new system is also aimed at engineers looking to run large-scale training and inferencing workloads, which would typically be run on servers.

Multiple Tesla vehicles have been fired upon and set alight at a Tesla dealership in Las Vegas, following a string of attacks against Elon Musk's electric vehicle company over his involvement in the US Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

Reports indicate the events took place early Tuesday morning when a man hurled molotov cocktails at the vehicles and proceeded to fire upon them with an unknown gun. Police have confirmed the man responsible for the attack at the Las Vegas dealership is still on the run. At least five vehicles were damaged in the attack, which only last week President Trump vowed to label as acts of domestic terrorism. Two vehicles were completely engulfed in flames, with the other three still sustaining considerable damage.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk has responded to the recent attack during an interview with Sean Hannity on Fox News where he said, "Tesla is a peaceful company, we've never done anything harmful. I've never done anything harmful, I've only done productive things. I think we have a deranged mental illness thing going on here because this doesn't make any sense." Musk added that he thinks there may be "larger forces at work as well," and asked who is funding and coordinating these attacks.

NVIDIA has just unveiled its new DGX personal AI supercomputers, which are powered by its in-house Grace CPU and Blackwell GPU, which are normally reserved for the data center.

The new personal AI supercomputers were unveiled at NVIDIA's current GTC 2025 event, with DGX Spark -- formerly Proejct DIGITS -- and DGX Station, a new high-performance NVIDIA Grace Blackwell desktop supercomputer powered by the NVIDIA Blackwell Ultra platform.

These new AI systems enable AI developers, researchers, data scientists, and students to prototype, fine-tune, and inference large models on desktops. NVIDIA says that users can run these models locally or deploy them on NVIDIA DGX Cloud or any other accelerated cloud or data center infrastructure.

The two astronauts that NASA assured us weren't stranded aboard the ISS, but just didn't have a viable means of transportation back to Earth, have finally touched back down on our home planet after nine months of being aboard the International Space Station (ISS).

Sunita "Suni" Williams and Barry "Butch" Wilmore took up Boeing's Starliner capsule to the ISS on June 5, and prior to launch and on the journey there, leaks were detected from the vessel. The leaks were helium, the fuel for the capsule, and after safely making it to the ISS to begin their week-long stay it was determined by NASA the capsule didn't meet the safety standards for a return journey.

The stay aboard the ISS extended from one week to nine months, with SpaceX CEO Elon Musk recently stating the situation with the ISS turned into a political football for the Biden administration as SpaceX offered to bring the astronauts back home early but was denied as the Biden administration didn't want "anyone who is supporting Trump [to] look good," according to Musk. However, Suni and Butch finally made it back home with the help of SpaceX's Dragon capsule, which also transported fellow astronauts Nick Hauge and Aleksandr Gorbunov, a cosmonaut with Russia's federal corporation Roscomos.

Bethesda has just released the Ghoul Within update for Fallout 76, introducing the ability for players to become ghouls, complete with new perks and gameplay mechanics. However, in a divisive move from the Bethesda team, an item included in the update has weighed in strongly on an eternal household debate.

Among the new C.A.M.P. items added to the game-decorative objects for player bases - Bethesda has included two toilet paper holders. One dispenses paper from the wall (the correct way, in my opinion), while the other, labeled "Correct Toilet Paper Holder," which rolls it outward.

NVIDIA has just unveiled its new RTX PRO 6000 "Blackwell" graphics card, based on the same GB202 GPU and GDDR7 memory that the RTX 5090 uses, but with a whopping 96GB of GDDR7 memory.

The new NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell GPU features the GB202 GPU with 24,064 cores inside of 188 SMs, compared to the 21,760 cores and 170 SMs inside of the same GB202 GPU in the GeForce RTX 5090. The full-fat GB202 GPU features 192 SMs, so we're not even maxed out here with the new RTX PRO 6000.

We do have the full 600W of TDP support through a single 12V-2x6 power connector, offering 25W more TDP than the 575W on the RTX 5090. With all of this in tow, NVIDIA's new RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell GPU features 4000 AI TOPs, 125 TFLOPS of FP32 compute performance, and 380 TFLOPS of RT performance (a 19% increase over the RTX 5090 in all performance figures).

NVIDIA has just announced that its next-gen Feynman GPU architecture will succeed Rubin and Blackwell, and will debut with ''next-gen HBM" memory in 2028.

NVIDIA has now confirmed that its next-gen AI GPU will be codenamed Feynman, after renowned American theoretical physicist, Richard Phillips Feynman, who is known for his work on quantum mechanics

On his Wikipedia page, Feynman is explained as "an American theoretical physicist. He is best known for his work in the path integral formulation of quantum mechanics, the theory of quantum electrodynamics, the physics of the superfluidity of supercooled liquid helium, and in particle physics, for which he proposed the parton model".

NVIDIA is hosting its GPU Technology Conference (GTC 2025) with an unveiling of its GB300 Blackwell Ultra, and a tease of its next-gen Rubin and Rubin Ultra AI GPUs, and its next-gen Vera CPUs... new ultra-fast AI platforms for AI computing deploying in 2026-2027.

NVIDIA has increased performance by 50% with its new GB300 "Blackwell Ultra" AI systems over GB200 AI servers, as well as increased memory capacity to 288GB HBM3E on GB300 from 192GB of HBM3E on GB200. The new GB300 and current GB200 AI platforms are made into up to NVL72 solutions, but next-gen Rubin GPUs will scale up to a far larger NVL144 platform.

The new NVIDIA Vera Rubin NVL144 platform will use two new chips, with the Rubin GPU using two Reticle-sized chips with up to 50 PFLOPs of FP4 performance and 288GB of next-gen, ultra-fast HBM4 memory. Alongside these chips will be an 88-core Vera CPU with a custom Arm architecture, 176 threads in total, with up to 1.8TB/sec of NVLINK-C2C interconnect.

Given the reign of free-to-play battle royale titles, and existing MMO players like RuneScape and World of Warcraft - the MMORPG space is a tough one to break into in 2025. This isn't stopping Raph Koster from making the game he's dreamed of making for 30 years.

The former creative director of Star Wars Galaxies and Ultima Online, Koster is widely recognised as a legend in the MMORPG world. His next title, Stars Reach, he describes as a 'spiritual sequel to Ultima Online and to Star Wars Galaxies' - featuring a living galaxy sandbox, and vast landscapes that are somewhat reminiscent of No Man's Sky mixed with an old Zelda game.

The game was originally privately funded, raising $40 million over five years through private investment - and has since taken to Kickstarter, raising an addition $600,000 through community outreach. Currently in its alpha stage, the game promises a return to the roots of classic MMORPGs. Particularly, something for those players looking to scratch the itch left by the void of Star Wars: Galaxies.
