As if Disney wasn't big enough, the multimedia empire added Hulu to its strengthening streaming business as eyes Netflix's throne.

Today Disney and Comcast have entered in a deal which gives the House of Mickey Mouse full control over Hulu. The agreement says Comcast will sell its 33% ownership in Hulu to Disney by 2024, and meanwhile Disney will run the service as it now owns majority shares. Disney has agreed to pay at least $27.5 billion for Comcast's stake in the next five years.

Although Disney is expected to bundle its $6.99 a month Disney+ service with Hulu+ for extra value, the latter is set to lose some of its best shows. The new deal allows NBC Universal to pull all of its shows from Hulu in three years time and put them on its new competing subscription streaming service. Until then Disney will pay a premium to keep content like Saturday Night Live on Hulu.

Imagine a movie about a video game where a character in the video game realizes he is in fact inside a video game and decides to try and change the fate of the game being discontinued. Introducing a movie that is doing exactly that, Ryan Reynolds' 'Free Guy'.

'Free Guy' is being organized by 20th Century Fox and will feature Ryan Reynolds playing a bank teller who works out that he is just a video game character inside of a video game that the developers has plans of closing down. What an amazing idea for a movie, it reminds me very much of Jim Carrey's The Truman Show where Carrey's character found out he is the main character on a TV about his life.

Free Guy is being directed by Shawn Levy, Levy is known for his other projects such as Night at the Museum and some episodes of the hit Netflix show Stranger Things. Other actors who are also starring in Free Guy include; Taika Waititi, Joe Keery, Jodie Comer, Utkarsh Ambudkar, and Lil Rel Howery. Production for the film has already begun, which marks one of the first Fox films to begun production under the umbrella of Disney. Free Guy is planned to hit theaters in July, 2020.

Blizzard claimed many teenage and adult lives when they released World of Warcraft back in 2004, now the company plans to allow you to re-live those captured years in World of Warcraft Classic on August 27th.

Blizzard will be allowing WoW players to jump back into what has been deemed as the 'vanilla experience' of WoW, and take on not only the classic bosses in raids but the massive amount of nostalgia that will be coursing through players' veins. Blizzard will be celebrating their 15th anniversary by allowing for 25-player raids that will pit players against some of the most iconic bosses in the franchise. Of course there will be rewards, for any player that manages to defeat all of the classic bosses will be rewarded with a new mount called Obsidian Worldbreaker.

World of Warcraft Classic will take players back to the game during the Drums of War update which was patch 1.12. Content wise, World of Warcraft Classic will feature periodically rolled out patches that will arrive in the same original order of 2004. "Re-experience WoW history unfolding as heroes gear up for Blackwing Lair; players battle for PvP Honor and Rank rewards; and entire realms band together to open the gates of Ahn'Qiraj.". Beginning today, players who sign up for the closed beta tests may get the chance to jump into the WoW Classic servers early, it should be noted that not all players who sign up get an invite.

A new announcement has come out of Nintendo regarding their upcoming title Super Mario Maker 2. The announcement gives Nintendo fans a time to view a Nintendo Direct livestream surrounding Super Mario Maker 2.

Back in February, Nintendo announced Super Mario Maker 2, a sequel to the Nintendo Wii U and Nintendo 3DS title Super Mario Maker. The sequel will come jam packed with a bunch of new features in the form of enemies, level creation, obstacles and much more. Now, Nintendo have announced a dedicated live stream to reveal many more aspects of the new title. The live stream will run for 15 minutes and will begin on May 15th at 3 p.m. PT/6 p.m. ET.

Discord has become one of the most versatile utilities for gaming and many other subjects that require verbal communication. So how about the Nintendo Switch picks up some of that love?

On the official Twitter account for Discord, a fan has asked when we would see Discord for the Nintendo Switch. While this seems like a no brainer for the Nintendo Switch to have support for Discord, that isn't the case at the moment. Discord replied to the question saying "We would love to bring Discord to the switcht! But we'd need Nintendo's blessing for that to happen first." Discord even go on to say that Nintendo Switch users who support the idea of Discord on the Switch should "Vote up the idea here and maybe it could be a thing someday".

I'm not sure if Nintendo will accept Discord on the Nintendo Switch due to them already having their Nintendo Switch Online app that allows for voice communication across games. With that being said, the addition of Discord on the Switch would certainly undermine their already established communication method. This makes me think that Nintendo would decline the inclusion of this third-party software and instead stick to their own.

Mortal Kombat is coming to the rural outback in a new announcement from South Australian Premier, Steven Marshall detailing that the Mortal Kombat movie reboot will be shot in Adelaide, Australia.

Marshall has come forward and said that South Australia will be home to the filming of the upcoming reboot of Mortal Kombat. Marshall has said that project is expected to inject $70 million into the economy and create 580 jobs, as well as 1,500 roles as extras on the film. Here is what Marshall has said "We think this is a great investment because we know that this blockbuster is going to create massive job opportunities for our sector".

The film is set to be led by producer James Wan who is known for his work on Aqua Man and other film titles such as The Conjuring, The Nun and Insidious. Simon McQuoid will be taking the helm as director, and has said that this movie will take Mortal Kombat fans back to what the "core essence" of these characters are. "On the surface, the game works a certain way, but we've kind of gone deeper than that". Executive producer E.Bennett Walsh has said that this is the biggest production that has ever been conducted in South Australia.

We've reported from the current rumors just recently that AMD's next-gen Ryzen 3000 series CPUs will work on current-gen 300/400-series motherboards, but now motherboard maker BIOSTAR has confirmed this.

BIOSTAR has released a list of motherboards that will support AMD's new Zen 2-based Ryzen 3000 series CPUs, which will include all chipsets from the A320, B350, B450, X370, and X470-based motherboards BIOSTAR has on the market. BIOSTAR will have 5 motherboards that will work with Ryzen 3000 series CPUs on the lower-end A320 chipset, which confirms that the A320 chipset will indeed work with Zen 2-based CPUs.

E3 2019 is shaping up to be one of the biggest E3's in history with AMD to unveil its next-gen Radeon Navi graphics cards at the event with the recently-confirmed Next Horizon Gaming event and now the PC Gaming Show has been announced to be returning to E3 once again.

This year's PC Gaming Show is being sponsored by Epic Games with the Fortnite developer and creator of Unreal Engine to unveil "brand new material for several games" as well as "some exclusives coming to the Epic Game Store". There are a bunch of other game developers that will be at the PC Gaming Show, with more attendees to be announced as we get closer to the show.

HP has just unveiled its new Omen X 2S 15 gaming laptop, a new dual-screen laptop that rocks a huge 17-inch panel (which comes in 1080p or 4K) and a second 6-inch 1080p display above the keyboard.

The new Omen X 2S 15 can be cconfigured with some seriously fast internals including Intel's latest 9th-gen Core i9-9880H CPU and NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 2080 Max-Q GPU. The 17-inch display can be configured with a 1080p 240Hz G-Sync panel or a 4K 60Hz G-Sync panel, depending on what you're after. You can opt for up to 32GB of RAM and plenty of storage options between NVMe, SSDs and Optane tech.

There are some games that will benefit from the secondary 6-inch display with games that can make good use of a map or mini map in a game, displaying in front of you between the keyboard and display.

Lenovo has just unveiled a new prototype foldable laptop, something that will feature a future Intel processor and will be an always-on, always-connected laptop running Windows 10.

The company unveiled the new foldable laptop prototype to the media which rolls out with a 13.3-inch 2K OLED-based display that has a Galaxy Fold-like design with its latch magnetically leaving a small gap near the hinge. When the prototype foldable laptop is laid out flat, Engadget said during its hands-on that they were "impressed to see that the PC didn't have an obvious crease".

The new laptop will need a tweaked version of Windows before it'll be able to go mainstream, but The Verge said that the foldable screen folds "as advertised" and that Windows "worked well enough". That doesn't inspire confidence as it would be quick and dirty hands-on time and not a full detailed review over weeks and months of using it and folding the screen hundreds of times.

Just as I exclusively revealed, AMD will be hosting its Next Horizon Gaming event at E3 2019 where we should be introduced to Radeon Navi and a more public unveiling of its next-gen Zen 2 architecture post-Computex and more gaming-focused at E3.

AMD has now officially confirmed it and dubbed the event 'Next Horizon Gaming' continuing the Next Horizon trend from its unveiling of the world's first 7nm GPU and 7nm CPU last year in San Francisco. The event will be hosted by The Game Awards creator Geoff Keighley at The Novo at LA Live on June 10 at 3PM PDT.

The event will include appearances by some of the leading game developers and we'll also get an exclusive look at some of the upcoming games arriving later in the year. AMD will be livestreaming the event on their YouTube channel and Facebook page, with a replay of the webcast to be made available a few hours after the event.

Terminal Reality's Ghostbusters video game is one of the best last-generation experiences, and it's getting reborn on PS4 and Xbox One.

Ghostbusters games have always been a mixed bag. But in 2009 gamers were treated with the best haunt in the franchise: a big-budget AAA game that used all four original Ghostbusters' voices, likenesses, and personalities, complete with a new story arc that furthered the franchise. For all intents and purposes, Ghostbusters: The Video Game was treated as the never-finished Ghostbusters 3 movie.

Now the beloved fan favorite is getting reborn for current-gen systems. A Ghostbusters remaster has been spotted on the Taiwanese Entertainment Software Registration website. The listing says NBA Playgrounds developer Mad Dog LLC is making the game, but the game has yet to be formally announced.

A new Splinter Cell game is currently in development, Ubisoft creative director Julian Gerighty confirms, and is slated for an E3 2019 reveal.

It's been nearly 10 years since Sam Fisher's last adventure, and fans have been clamoring for another game ever since. In 2017, Ubisoft's Yves Guillemot said the franchise isn't dead, and according to one Ubisoft dev the wait may be over sooner than later. Julian Gerighty, who has worked on big-name games like The Division and The Crew, says he's currently developing a new Splinter Cell at Ubisoft's Ivory Tower studio. Other devs from Ubisoft Montreal are contributing.

"Working on the next Splinter Cell with Dan Hay and Roman Campos Oriola in Lyon," Gerighty said on Twitter. "Can't wait for E3."

Red Dead Redemption 2 has now sold 24 million copies worldwide on PS4 and Xbox One, but those numbers indicate significant slow-down for a Rockstar game.

Today Take-Two announced its Fiscal Year 2019 earnings, reporting huge net sales earnings of $2.66 billion, and confirming Red Dead Redemption 2's monumental 24 million sales. Putting these sales into perspective shows Rockstar's outlaw RPG only sold 1 million copies last quarter, hinting sales are moderating quite soon after launch.

In comparison, the game moved a huge 23 million copies during launch and amassed $725 million in 3 days time. It went on to become the biggest entertainment launch in 2018 despite releasing in the last quarter of the year.

A sequel to Disney's Maleficent has been announced through a brand new teaser trailer that has been released onto the official Walt Disney Studios YouTube Channel.

According to the description of the above video, Maleficent: Mistress of Evil is based "several years" after the events of 2014's first Maleficent. The story that will be told in the upcoming sequel will surround the "complex relationship between the horned fairy and the soon to be Queen as they form new alliances and face new adversaries in their struggle to protect the moors and the magical creatures that reside within."

The movie will be directed by Joachim Ronning, produced by Joe Roth and executive producers include; Angelina Jolie and Duncan Henderson with Matt Smith, Jeff Kirschenbaum and Michael Vieira. Actors wise we are looking at; Angelina Jolie in the lead role, Elle Fanning as Princess Aurora and Michelle Pfeiffer as Queen Ingrith. Maleficent: Mistress of Evil is expected to arrive in theaters in the US on October 18th.

Asobo Studio has released the launch trailer for their upcoming drama filled title A Plague Tale: Innocence. The trailer throws the viewer into lives of Amicia and her little brother Hugo and the plethora of unfortunate situations they have to undergo.

For those that don't know, A Plague Tale: Innocence a deep and emotionally compelling story that surrounds the likes of a brother and sister doing they absolute best to survive in 14th century France. The gameplay players can expect combines both a strategic approach with stealth, alongside emotionally connected brutality and true sense of protection for Amicia's little brother Hugo.

Players will also fear their environment as in every direction Amicia and Hugo are carried they face the horror swarms of black plague rats. A new teaser trailer has been released for Oddworld: Soulstorm and it reveals some of the titles gameplay as well as showing off an awesome new industrial setting.

Oddworld: Soulstorm is a follow-up sequel to Oddworld New 'n' Tasty which was released back in July of 2014. Two years after the release of Oddworld New 'n' Tasty, Oddworld Inhabitants announced Soulstorm. Since then it has basically been radio silence, but now a new trailer has been set loose and it seems the wait has been totally worthwhile.

Oddworld's creator Lorne Lanning originally wanted to tell a single story over five separate games, the Oddworld Quintology. Oddworld: Soulstorm is the second installment in the series and has breathed life back in the original vision of five games. A hot new press release has revealed that Discord is home to 250 million users across their live chatting service, this number is most impressive considering the service was only founded four years ago.

Discord was founded back in 2015, and since then many gamers and friends alike have taken a liking to the slick new software. Many gamers use the software to communicate in real-time to their fellow gamers, but that isn't all of what Discord is used for. In the above 'Bringing People Together' video, it is detailed that Discord is also home to many people who enjoy the likes of discussing sports, playing tabletop games, music, pets and even news reporting.

Discord is quite a diverse platform and has allowed 250 million users to find a comfortable place to sit down a chat about whatever is on their mind. Over 56 million users are present on the service every month and on average there is 850 million messages sent per day. On a monthly scale that is 25 billion messages. Discord's userbase flourished in the last year when it grew by a staggering 120 million users. Most of the time artificial intelligence is brought up one of the main questions raised is how badly will the implementation of artificial intelligence in jobs be, and how many peoples jobs will be made redundant. Perhaps artificial intelligence if further along than we think and some serious amount of jobs could be at risk.

A new study has come out of MIT Technology Review Insights which has conducted the study in association with ADP, Infocomm Media Development Authority of Singapore, Genesys, Splunk and the Asia School of Business. The study features a executive survey of 900 leaders as well as "data set provided by Faethm, a future-of-work cloud software company, the report shows, by country and industry, the proportion of formal sector jobs that will become redundant through automation, and the jobs that will be augmented by AI, making them more productive and highly skilled".

The study says that "AI will affect one in five jobs in Asia-eliminating one in eight" and that across 11 Asian markets, 12% of current jobs are in the "high-risk" of being automated in the "next five years". The AI effect on jobs are said to be more prominent in the more wealthier economies than the poorer ones. Percentage separation clocks in at 14% in wealthier communities, and 10% in poorer ones.

A new camera has been designed by researchers using photodetectors, something that is so advanced it can see up to 28 miles away (45km) as long as it is placed high enough off the ground as it will be capturing photos across Earth's curvature).

The new camera technology has been created by researchers out of the University of Science and Technology of China in Shanghai that is capable of snapping a photo some 28 miles away in a smog-filled urban environment. Technology Review reports that their technique "uses single-photon detectors combined with a unique computational imaging algorithm that achieves super-high-resolution images by knitting together the sparsest of data points".

Zheng-Ping Li and his team made the low-cost, compact camera technology that blends the worlds of laser imaging technologies and AI, with Lidar-based imaging technology capable of shooting photos 10 miles away by bouncing a laser on the subject, this new technology takes it to the next level. Whereas previous camera technology was limited to 2D images at up to 10 miles away, the new camera snaps 3D images at a record-breaking 28 miles away.
