Chinese based smartphone manufacturer Nubia has released its 2015 flagship device in a recently issued press release - the borderless Nubia Z9.

The idea that Xbox will be integrated into Windows 10 is another clear indicator that Microsoft wants to push Windows 10 forward - and hopefully generate extra interest in the Xbox One. Windows 10 is the "best version of Windows ever for both gamers and developers alike," and that will become clearer during the company's E3 event later this month.

The Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) wants help from the US federal government in combating piracy, claiming there is a correlation between piracy and rising cybersecurity problems. Cybercriminals use the lure of pirated content to help infect users with malware, or scam Internet users, according to the MPAA.

This is a clever tactic by the MPAA, as the US government has increased worries related to cybersecurity - and trying to tie the two issues together could lead to increased anti-piracy efforts.

"Unfortunately, criminal enterprises are also using the Internet to hack into networks and computers for the purpose of stealing valuable data - whether personally identifiable information, trade secrets, or content," said the MPAA, responding to a cybersecurity threat assessment from the Department of Commerce Internet Policy Task Force (IPTF).

Computex 2015 - We recently reported on In Win showing off its tempered glass case to the public at this years show in Taipei and now we've just come across three amazing renditions by Lian Li in the form of the PC-O5SX, PC-O6SX and PC-O7SX.

The PC-O5SX is the baby of the bunch and sports external bay support for one slim ODD drive, a HDD rack supporting three 3.5" drives and a single 2.5" plus support behind the motherboard tray for one 3.5" drive and one 2.5" or two 2.5". But wait, there's more - there is also storage on the motherboard tray for a the setup as there is behind. Video card support includes 190mm cards sitting on top of a Mini-ITX motherboard.

The ISIS terrorist group suffered an attack from three Joint Direct Attack Munition (JDAM) missiles, based on social media intelligence collected by the 361st Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Group. It took just 22 hours following the US military identifying the online posts before an airstrike that destroyed an ISIS headquarters building.

"It was a post on social media to bombs on target in less than 24 hours," said Air Force Gen. Hawk Carlisle, head of the Air Combat Command, in a statement published by Defense Tech. "Incredible work when you think about (it)."

Computex 2015 - A little different from the hardware news of late, Conexant Systems, Inc. has just released its ultra-low power, high-performance HD Audio CODEC called the CX8200.

Set to improve your mobile experience in products ranging from notebooks, ultrabooks and tablets, this release "intelligently drives speakers to optimize sound pressure level (SPL) while providing best-in-class speaker protection and eliminating background noise" as pointed out in a recent press release.

It's main feature isn't music, but to remove any background noise when listening to voice over your speakers alongside a louder overall multimedia experience and Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) for voice dictation and virtual assistants like Microsoft's Cortana.

Computex 2015 - Alongside the Ripjaws series of mechanical keyboards and the Ripjaws MX780 RGB gaming mouse as covered by us yesterday, G.Skill also has on offer some interesting new audio additions to its peripheral arsenal.

Computex 2015 - Memory specialist Kingston has released its DataTraveler microDuo 3C USB flash drive, a USB 3.1 product. Designed as a dual interface that works with standard USB Type-A and USB Type-C ports, the drive complements portable devices, Kingston said.

USB Type-C is a reversible connector standard that will open the door to slimmer and sleeker devices. The Kingston DataTraveler microDuo 3C ships in three capacities: 16GB, 32GB and 64GB. The 16GB has 100MB/s read and 10MB/s write, while the 32GB and 64GB drives provide 100MB/s read and 15MB/s write.

"DataTraveler microDuo 3C has a dual interface that accommodates both USB Type-A and USB Type-C ports to give users easy access to the latest USB interface," said Nathan Su, flash memory sales director of the APAC region at Kingston. The Z170-CLAYMORE boasts four memory ports capable of DDR4 Dual-Channel support up to 32GB, five PCIe x16 slots and a display outputs including HDMI 2.0 and Display Port. Adding to this is 2-Way graphics support for those looking at increasing performance.
