Canon's new PD6E2000-AW-CJ1 drone isn't radically different from other professional drones from DJI, but Canon wins in the camera department for low-light emergency situations thanks to the huge 4 million ISO. The new drone is also weather proof, and features a two-axis gimbal that can take 10kg of weight.

The drone costs $20,000 - but don't worry, your rewards points will be happy with the additional $20,000 required for the ME20F-SH camera as well.

Quake Champions raw gameplay footage: this ain't COD

Anthony Garreffa | Gaming | Apr 6, 2017 1:25 AM CDT

I put thousands of hours into the Quake franchise in the 90s, after diving right into the 3dfx Voodoo 1 at the time and running Quake (the original) in Glide - an alternate API to DirectX and OpenGL at the time. Fast forward to now, and we have Quake Champions - and it's not slow like the first-person shooters of today.

Quake Champions raw gameplay footage: this ain't COD

The latest Quake Champions raw gameplay footage is a great thing to see in a world of spruced up bullshots of games and PR-driven trailers: it's real, it's super-fast, and it's on the PC. Bethesda and id Software promised that Quake Champions has PC-specific features, with the developers building Quake Champions around the quick movement of a mouse and keyboard. Music to my ears.

Anthony Garreffa | Gaming | Apr 6, 2017 12:49 AM CDT

STALKER used to be one of the original 'can your PC run it' games, but it disappeared and remerged with fragments of its original developers forming 4A Games and working on the Metro series of games - but now, STALKER could be rebooted, running Crytek's awesome CryEngine 3 graphics engine.

STALKER reboot teased, powered by CryEngine

HardOCP reports that it is "unclear what the original source of these clips is, who is running the project, or if it is intended to actually have a public release". The videos were uploaded with the official CryEngine logo onto the Achieved with CryEngine channel, and a Facebook page.

If STALKER powered by CryEngine 3 becomes a real thing, I will have my eyes glued to the monitor for more news and any images and videos of a CryEngine-powered STALKER.

Schwarzenegger follows Stallone in exiting 'Expendables'

Ben Gourlay | Celebrities & Entertainment | Apr 5, 2017 8:02 PM CDT

Following this week's news that Sylvester Stallone has abandoned the 'Expendables' franchise, Arnold Schwarzenegger has promised that he'll follow Sly out the door.

Schwarzenegger follows Stallone in exiting 'Expendables'

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, the action veteran says that "there is no Expendables without Sly. I would never do the movie without him, no." But even if Sly stays for the upcoming fourth film, that doesn't necessarily mean that he's back in either. Citing his disdain for the third entry, the Austrian Oak says that they'd also have to give him a much better part to even consider it. "The third one, I thought my part was not written well. It was also not playing well in the movie, as far as I was concerned. Maybe other people believed differently. But I didn't believe that I had any value in the movie. I love the franchise, by the way. I think it's a spectacular franchise, The Expendables. I think that Sly has good ideas, what he wants to do with it, and I think if they write a really good script [in] which my part is very well-developed, I would do it. If not, then I won't do it."

It looks like 'The Expendables' franchise as we know it is over.

According to him, the base 64GB model could start at $850 to $900 in the US, which is similar to the price of Samsung Galaxy S8+.

Milunovich explained that the iPhone 8 could start at under $1000 cause he believes that the 5.8-inch device will be competing at a screen size disadvantage compared to the 6.2-inch Galaxy S8+.
