CeBIT 2007 - Extreme overclocking by Coolaler
CeBIT 2007 - Extreme overclocking by Coolaler news post from TweakTown's online news computing and technology content pages.
Our good friend Coolaler from Taiwan has teamed up with G.Skill at CeBIT to run some extreme overclocking demonstrations of the Core 2 Extreme processor.
Operating at around -50c using LN2 cooling they managed to impress hitting a maximum CPU clock speed of 4.5GHz (500MHz FSB x 9) and they had DDR-2 memory humming along nicely at 1300MHz DDR or PC2-10400.
There is more photos and information over at Coolaler's forum if you are interested.
