Rockstar Games has finally released the first trailer for what could be the most anticipated game of all time - Grand Theft Auto VI.

The 90-second trailer was published early on the Rockstar Games YouTube channel and showcased a great deal of the game, revealing many impressive aspects such as graphical quality, density of environments while maintaining impressive graphics, the main character, and the location of the game. While these are the main takeaways from the trailer, I believe there is something here most people have missed - a brand new feature that players of GTA VI will have to learn to adapt to in-game.

One of the main things we see during the trailer is videos played on what seems to be some kind of social media platform. The clips begin with a video posted by "DadBodSquad" and show a man partying on a boat. Next to the account name is a Follow option, along with a Like and Comment option in the top right. These types of videos are constantly played throughout the trailer, which makes me think that perhaps this is more than a quick way to showcase different aspects of the game.

Rockstar dropped the first Grand Theft Auto VI trailer earlier today, and if you haven't seen it yet, be sure to stop reading and watch it below. Pretty amazing, right? The insane level of detail in everything from the characters to the environments to the lighting is next level, and that's before you factor in the awesome animation and vehicles.

And with the GTA 6 drought finally over, we've also got a release window - 2025. However, it's not great news if you're a PC gamer rocking a decent GeForce RTX or Radeon RX rig.

Alongside the trailer, we got a press release from Rockstar Games stating it's "proud to announce that Grand Theft Auto VI is coming to PlayStation 5 computer entertainment systems and Xbox Series X|S games and entertainment systems in 2025." That's right, no PC.

The search for "killer apps" for AI is on, leading up to the AI PC revolution that will kickstart with Windows 12 from Microsoft and the evolution of AI inside of our PCs starting in 2024.

We've seen the meteoric rise of generational AI advances from the likes of OpenAI, with Microsoft offering its own AI-powered service with Copilot, something we'll be seeing much more of as we ramp into the release of Windows 12. AMD has been at the forefront of AI processors with Ryzen AI out earlier this year, Intel has an AI-dedicated chip on its upcoming Meteor Lake CPUs, and Qualcomm has AI on-board for its upcoming Snapdragon SoC for Windows devices.

It's all systems go for AI, AI, AI... and now we're hearing about tech companies lusting after that elusive "killer app" of AI, because we all know it's going to come down to the best apps built for AI. Think of like, Angry Birds but for AI. Or the Tetris of AI. The Mario Kart (64) of AI. It's coming, and tech companies want it.

ASUS is cooking its new ROG Zephyrus M16 gaming laptop that will rock both the best CPU on offer from Intel and the best GPU on offer from NVIDIA.

Inside the new ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16 gaming laptop, we are to expect the flagship Core 9 Ultra 185H "Meteor Lake" CPU, which will be joined by the GeForce RTX 4090 Laptop GPU with 16GB of VRAM. It will also be joined by 16GB of LPDDR5X memory and a 1TB PCIe 4.0 M.2 SSD.

On the CPU side of things, we should expect the Core Ultra 9 processor to feature 16 cores and 22 threads of CPU power at up to 5.1GHz. This is the flagship Core 100 series "Meteor Lake" CPU and should be unveiled at CES 2024 in the first week of January, and not just in the new ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16 gaming laptop, but other gaming laptops unveiled in January 2024.

Meta's chief scientist has had some interesting words to say about the AI industry, the quantum computing business, and even a few potshots at the AI GPU champion: NVIDIA.

During Meta's recent 10-year anniversary of its Fundamental AI Research team, Meta's Chief AI Scientist, Yann LeCun, talked about NVIDIA and AI, where he said: "I know Jensen. There is an AI war, and he's supplying the weapons. [If] you think AGI is in, the more GPUs you have to buy".

LeCun continued, talking about AI and how we're seeing the industry progress through using LLMs (Large Language Models) and that AI learning from only text data is simply not the "optimal" way. What is being done now isn't enough to create human-like AI systems... which is the goal of the likes of AI giants like OpenAI, in search of AGIs (artificial general intelligence).

Dragon Age fans get updated on what to expect with the next game in the medieval fantasy franchise.

BioWare releases a new Dreadwolf teaser trailer with some impressive in-game visuals to celebrate Dragon Age day. The footage showcases and highlights just how much BioWare's visual skills have evolved since the release of Inquisition nearly 10 years ago, and Dreadwolf very much continues the impressive high graphical watermark set by the studio's ill-fated Anthem IP.

The trailer is short and sweet, touching upon three regions of Thedas that gamers should be able to explore throughout Dreadwolf. There's Treviso, a city in Antiva that's overseen by the shadow Crows; the coastal, tropical peninsula of Rivain; and Grey Warden's Weisshupt Fortress in the Anderfels (which may or may not be in ruins).

Overwatch 2's latest season is upon us, which will see the newest Tank hero Mauga, festive holiday events, new Hero Mastery courses, and new rewards that get jam-packed with a beast hunter-themed season. Overwatch 2 - Season 8: Call of the Hunt starts on December 5; check it out:

Mauga was teased recently but is now on the official hero roster for Overwatch 2 starting with Season 8, which can be unlocked, of course. Mauga rocks dual chainguns that will burn and burst down your enemies, where he can also charge through enemies and come crashing down on them with Overrun. Mauga can also reinforce his team with his Cardiac Overdrive and even brawl in close-quarters combat with his powerful Cage Fight ultimate.

The team at Blizzard has made some changes to Mauga after watching how he performed and listening to player feedback. The team made some adjustments to Mauga to "make him stand out even more," like additional power to his chainguns, and more Armor HP that allows him to last longer in the fight.

GTA 6 has officially been announced by Rockstar Games, and a new press release offers more details about the upcoming crime caper.

After 10 years of waiting and endless speculation, the day has finally come: Grand Theft Auto VI's reveal exploded onto the internet with the bright neon lights and salacious night clubs that Vice City is known for. Rockstar's official GTA 6 trailer showed of 90 seconds of in-game and cinematic footage, highlighting next-gen visuals, improved character models, incredible lighting, and a whole new evolution of American satire.

Rockstar also sent out a new press release from its comms team that offers a few more details about the game. The studio promises GTA 6 will be the "most immersive evolution of GTA" so far, and studio founder Sam Houser also has some choice words, too. Rockstar confirms that GTA 6 is coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.

Intel is about to launch its next-gen Meteor Lake platform and has just launched its refreshed 14th Gen Core "Raptor Lake Refresh" CPUs, and now has an aggressive new marketing campaign: comparing AMD Ryzen 5 processors to snake oil.

In that aggressive new marketing campaign is something Intel is calling "Core Truths"; it acts like an information brochure that consumers can use to learn about the latest CPU technologies. Intel specifically calls out specific AMD Ryzen CPUs that are using older CPU architectures... while acting like they don't, and still don't, do that (spoiler alert: oh yes, yes, they do).

AMD and Intel were on good terms when it came to a direct attack-style marketing campaign, similar to how Intel also ran that marketing campaign that said AMD's new EPYC CPU dies were "glued together." Well, Intel was scared of AMD's impending dominance -- in which it has, oh-so-beautifully for years, eaten at Intel's dominance in server and HPC businesses -- where EPYC has kicked Xeon's ass.

It's official: The next Grand Theft Auto game is indeed called GTA VI, and features two protagonists in a modern-day Bonnie and Clyde crime story set for a 2025 launch.

Rockstar Games has released the first 90-second trailer for GTA 6 ahead of schedule, with the studio responding quickly to a recent video leak that spread far and wide. Instead of waiting for the internet to spoil their surprise, Rockstar just premiered the GTA VI trailer on its official YouTube channel, revealing in-game and cinematic footage set in the fictional Miami-inspired Vice City.

Starbreeze Studios, the team that helped co-develop one of the most popular FPS franchises on the planet, is moving to medieval fantasy for their next title.

Today, Starbreeze made a surprise announcement: The Payday developer is now working on a new game set in the Dungeons & Dragons franchise. We really didn't see this one coming.

The D&D game is described as an action-adventure experience complete with co-op live service elements and cross-play. The title is codenamed Project Baxter and is being created in Unreal Engine 5 with a planned release on "all major platforms" by 2026. Starbreeze plans to both develop and publish the game, likely with funding provided by Hasbro.

Firefight is coming to Halo Infinite with tomorrow's new update, but it'll be a bit different this time around.

Halo Infinite's new Season 5 Reckoning roadmap includes Firefight, one of my most-played Halo gametypes of all time. As is usually the case with Infinite's modes, Firefight is getting some big changes that turns the PVE chaos on its head.

The biggest change is Firefight is no longer solely a survival gametype with a pool of lives. Instead, 343i is merging King of the Hill into Firefight to create what sounds like a thrilling and significantly challenging experience. Any Firefight player will tell you that your team is most vulnerable when clumped together--one good grenade can wipe out the whole group--and that's basically what KotH is all about.

After years of genre-defining crossovers, Epic is now using Fortnite as a gateway for gaming's new Games-as-a-Platform strategy.

Fortnite is the template for success for most live games. The BR has made over $20 billion in revenue thanks in no small part to its incredible amount of pop culture crossovers while also innovating with events like the ultra-popular Travis Scott concert. Fortnite isn't just a game any more, it's an experience.

Epic is continuing this trend in a new way. Fortnite will now turn into a kind of gateway for other games, which is a nascent concept that I call Games-as-a-Platform (you've heard of Games-as-a-Service, well this is an evolution of that).

The project behind the world's biggest nuclear fusion reactor, which is a device that is designed to replicate the process that takes place within the fun, consists of a collaborative effort between 500 scientists and engineers, plus more than 70 different companies throughout Europe and Japan.

Achieving nuclear fusion is the process of combining two elements into one. The conditions on which to do this are tough and require a large six-story high machine that is capable of swirling plasma that is heated up to 2200 million degrees. Once the conditions reach the appropriate levels, fusion takes place between the elements, and heat and light are created as a result. Being able to replicate the process that takes place within the Sun would mean unlimited clean energy and would change the energy crisis globally.

However, it's extremely difficult to maintain the right conditions to make nuclear fusion take place, but researchers at the National Ignition Facility at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in the United States achieved what is called "net energy gain," which means they were able to generate more energy than what it costs them to run the experiment. A critical step toward achieving a sustainable nuclear fusion reactor.

Meta has a problem with pedophiles on its platforms, as a new report from The Wall Street Journal has found instances where the algorithms powering the company's platforms have actually promoted pedophile accounts.

It was back in June that the WSJ and Stanford University worked together to find an underground pedophile network on Instagram. The June report revealed Instagram's algorithm was connecting a distribution network of underage sex content, which was promptly responded to by Meta, who formed a child-safety task force dedicated to solving underage sexual content on the platform. However, it isn't just Instagram that has problems.

The WSJ report found there are still entire Facebook groups that are dedicated to sharing content that sexualizes children, pedophile-related hashtags are abundant, and many other Facebook groups that are currently celebrating incest and sex with children. The WSJ report states it flagged these grounds to Meta, which responded to the publication by saying the groups weren't violating any of the platform's community standards.

A new study published in the journal Advanced Science details the creation of tiny biological robots that are designed to assist the growth of wounds and tissue and even help cure diseases.

The study details these micro-robots called "anthrobots," and according to the new paper, the researchers behind them have already been able to demonstrate their repair capabilities on damaged neurons. However, these tests were carried out in a petri dish and not within a human, where there are many factors at play.

While the demonstration has been limited to a petri dish, what the team has achieved is nonetheless impressive as the microbots were constructed out of human cells, meaning doctors will be able to take cells from a patient to make custom bots for that individual. Having the robots made out of the patient's cells reduces the chances of the body rejecting them.

You may have seen over the weekend that some Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III players - those accessing the game via NVIDIA's GeForce Now service - were getting banned, but the good news is this problem has been fully resolved.

Last week saw the introduction of Modern Warfare III to NVIDIA's streaming service, and apparently players using the cloud gaming product were being detected as cheaters somehow (due to their rig being cloud-based, we can guess).

Activision was fortunately quick to move on this one, and rolled out a fix for what it called "improper account enforcements."

The trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6 is expected to drop on December 5 and ahead of what will likely be the most-watched gaming trailer of all time is footage from the game purportedly leaking online.

The leak has been posted to TikTok by account user @I_see_in_4k, who posted two videos to their account claiming that this is the "first look at GTA 6". The videos were posted on Saturday and have since gained tens of thousands of views, both of which showcase brief looks at what appears to be the game's vast map.

Eurogames first reported these were "leaks" of GTA 6, and then GTABase, a games new site that is described by IGN as "one of the more trusted accounts covering Rockstar Games," claimed the footage came from the son of a Rockstar Games employee. It should be noted that Rockstar Games hasn't confirmed the footage was real. GTABase wrote that the evidence it has seen for the leak coming from the child of a Rockstar Games employee is "fairly convincing".

Will Smith will be returning to the role of Robert Neville for the upcoming sequel of I Am Legend released in 2007. The sequel will be using the mythology of the DVD release where Smith's character survived and not the cinema release where he died.

Smith revealed he is returning to the role at the Red Sea International Film Festival in Saudi Arabia, where he teased that he was scheduled to be on a call the following day with Michael B. Jordan, who he later confirmed was in the film. Smith didn't reveal any details about the movie but explained that the sequel will be continuing on from the DVD version of the film, which featured an alternative ending where Robert Neville wasn't killed.

"But for the DVD, there was an alternate version of the ending of the movie where my character lived," he said. "We are going with the mythology of the DVD version." Adding, "I can't tell you anything more, but Michael B. Jordan is in and we're doing it". Notably, Smith previously hadn't expressed interest in a sequel to I Am Legend, but with input from Michael B. Jordan, a new idea was proposed that piqued his interest.

The 50-year-long journey of returning humans back to the moon for the first time since 1972 is being undertaken by NASA, and according to a new report from the U.S. Government Accountability Office, the space agency's target date for the launch of 2025 is unlikely to be hit.

The new report from the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) has thrown a wet blanket on NASA's plans for humans returning to the surface of the moon in 2025, as the report has pointed out "multiple challenges" with the space agency's schedule, particularly with the development of the Human Landing System (HLS).

The report released on November 30 outlines development problems with the HLS, which is a modified version of SpaceX's Starship launch vehicle, transportation to the surface of the moon, and design problems such as including larger oxygen tanks within spacesuits used by astronauts exploring the surface of the moon.
