Computex 2015 - STRIX is something you're going to see much more of in the future as it seems this family is ASUS' new series of champion products. The latest addition to this lot is that of these three high-end 7.1 channel audio cards.

Named the STRIX RAID DLX, the STRIX RAID Pro and the STRIX Soar, these cards are all fairly similar in specification with slight differences.

All three cards are based on one design, with the DAC component containing a native-PCIe multi-CODEC audio controller connector to an ESS SABRE 9006a DAC, dedicated to the front audio port with 116 dBA SNR and a 110 dBA SNR DAC connected to your main headphone amplifier.

Computex 2015 - We've just posted news of the new GIGABYTE mATX motherboard, helping show that the world is currently crazy about either super big or super small. ASUS has now joined the party with its higher specified X99M-WS micro-ATX offering with other applications in mind.

Supporting a LGA2011v3 socket based on the Intel X99 Express chipset, this new offering is powered by a single 24-pin ATX and two 8-pin EPS plugs. There's also an optional 6-pin PCIe power port, depending on how you put this beast to use.

The XPG series includes high-performance SSDs and fast gaming RAM, with ADATA boasting its new sponsorship of the North American power house eSports organization, compLexity Gaming.

XCOM 2 will be a PC exclusive video game developed by Firaxis Games, and is being designed to be a full sequel to XCOM: Enemy Unknown. Here is a first glimpse of the game:

In the new game title, the XCOM will be the invading force responsible for securing resources and avoiding being eliminated by aliens. Over the next month, interested gamers will receive information about new soldier classes, what types of new enemies you'll be able to fight against, a mobile aircraft carrier, the gameplay environment, and other details.

2K Games is promising procedurally-generated levels that will provide a unique gaming experience to each of you individually. It should make for a rather interesting gaming experience, if it's done well.

Computex 2015 - Sandisk has thrown down the gauntlet in the portable SSD market by announcing the Extreme 900 and Extreme 900 Portable SSDs. The Extreme 500 has speeds up to four times faster than a traditional portable hard drive, while the Extreme 900 has up to nine time faster speeds, according to Sandisk.

The Extreme 900 has speeds up to 850MB/s, and is designed to allow for extremely fast file transfers - or instant playback on saved content. Meanwhile, the Extreme 500 has speeds up to 415MB/s, and is half the size of a smartphone.

Sandisk will make the Extreme 500 available with 120GB ($99.99), 240GB ($149.99), and 480GB ($239.99), while the Extreme 900 will be available with 480GB ($399.99), 960GB ($599.99), and 1.92TB ($999.99) storage capacities.

Microsoft will publicly release Windows 10 on July 29, with the company making an announcement courtesy of its "Blogging Windows" blog. Windows 10 was expected sometime during the summer, and Microsoft wants to make good on its promise.

However, there could be a mad scramble to upgrade starting on July 29, and Microsoft is preparing for possible chaos:

"One of [the] things that we can do for people who reserve is pre-download some of the bits to their PC so that those people aren't blocked on the Internet pipe trying to deliver lots of and lots of Windows bits starting on (July 29)," said Joe Belfiore, corporate VP for the OS group at Microsoft, in a statement published by USA Today.

ORIGIN PC has announced that it will include NVIDIA G-Sync technology on its EON17-X and EON15-X gaming laptops.

The addition of G-Sync will minimize display stutter, lower input lag, and eliminate screen tearing - while providing 1080p and 4K resolutions. Gamers interested in seeing NVIDIA G-Sync technology in a gaming laptop can join the fun starting this month, according to ORIGIN PC.

ZOTAC wanted to push things to the limit and has created five different versions of the GeForce GTX 980 Ti, introducing the following products: GTX 980 Ti, GTX 980 Ti AMP!, GTX 980 Ti AMP! Omega, GTX 980 Ti AMP! Extreme, GTX 980 Ti ArcticStorm. Four of the GPUs have 6GB GDDR5 memory.

The GTX 980 Ti has 1000 MHz/1076MHz core/boost speed and features a blower, with 6GB of GDDR4 RAM, 384-bit memory bus and blower to ensure the GPU stays cool.

The GeForce GTX 980Ti AMP! Model has a 1051MHz/1140MHz core/boost speed, pre-overclocked, and uses the IceStorm cooling system. Meanwhile, the GeForce GTX 980 Ti AMP! Extreme has a 1253MHz/1355MHz core/boost speed, with EKO fans, IceStorm cooling, POWER BOOST and LED illumination.

Computex 2015 - Corsair has just announced a new PSU range with its RMi Series, which is offering 80 Plus Gold efficiency, silent operation with a 'silent Zero-RPM' fan, Corsair Link operation, and much more.

Corsair will be offering its new RMi Series PSUs in 650W, 750W, 850W and 1000W capacities. Corsair has built the new RMi Series PSUs from the ground up to offer 80 PLUS Gold energy efficiency, with 105C rated Japanese capacitors, so that gamers don't need to worry about using power hungry components with the RMi Series PSUs.

Computex 2015 - Corsair just took the wraps off of its new Bulldog DIY PC, but what better way to use it in your living room than with a portable gaming control center? Enter the Lapdog.

Corsair's new Lapdog is a portable mouse and keyboard that "brings the precision of desktop gaming to the living room", offering up a large mouse mat and keyboard dock that is compatible with Corsair's mechanical gaming keyboards. It's all a wired system so you don't run into battery problems, with a large 7x11 inch mouse mat area and keyboard dock.

There's also a powered USB hub for your keyboard, mouse, headset, game controllers and USB flash drivers. Underneath the Lapdog is a memory foam cushion for ultra comfort when using the Lapdog in your living room. All of this will be offered to consumers for $89 as a standalone unit, or $199 with a keyboard.

Computex 2015 - After teasing the Bulldog just last week, Corsair has fully unveiled its new Bulldog PC. The Bulldog is a DIY PC capable of 4K gaming, in a "gaming console-sized chassis".

The Bulldog system is a DIY kit filled with a liquid CPU cooler, PSU and motherboard, leaving room for customization and future upgrades. The Bulldog features proprietary liquid CPU and GPU cooling technology, offering desktop performance in a console-sized PC for your living room. Corsair will be including a Hydro Series H5SF liquid CPU cooler and HG10-based GPU that will offer a large amount of overclocking of both the CPU and GPU, while keeping the temperatures and noise levels down.

Inside, will be support for mini-ITX motherboards, and on the PSU side of things we have an 600W SFX power supply. The Bulldog will have support for NVIDIA's GeForce GTX Titan X, GTX 980 and GTX 970 - but with the launch of the GTX 980 Ti being so close to this - we're sure that Corsair will have support for NVIDIA's latest GM200-powered video card.

Computex 2015 - ASUS has added two more peripherals to its growing list of Republic of Gamers products with the new ROG Spatha and ROG Claymore.

The ASUS ROG Claymore is a new Cherry MX based keyboard with RGB switches which are individually customized backlit keys, offering 16.8 million colors. ASUS has provided N-key rollover, and a passthrough USB 3.1 port. There's also a detachable macro keyboard which allows for a fully custom setup.

Moving onto the ASUS ROG Spatha is an MMO mouse with 12 buttons and wired/wireless modes with a magnesium alloy chassis. We have an 8200DPI laser sensor with 30g acceleration and a 2000Hz polling rate. It features an exclusive customizable socket design which looks super slick, and customizable 16.8 million color light effects.

Computex 2015 - At the ASUS Zensation event, the Taiwanese giant unveiled its latest foray into the smartphone world in the form of the Zenfone Selfie, which you guessed it - is aimed at selfie addicts.

The ASUS Zenfone Selfie packs a 5.5-inch 1080p display with 403PPI and a 178-degree IPS-based panel with 400 nits of brightness. Inside, we have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor, with a 13-megapixel camera on the front, and rear with dual LED real tone flash.
