At Computex 2025, Intel announced its new Battlemage Arc Pro GPUs for AI workstations, with multiple models and variants from its partners, such as ASRock, Sapphire, MaxSun, and more. The Arc Pro B-series, powered by the same Battlemage architecture as the desktop Intel Arc B580 gaming GPU, includes two models - the Intel Arc Pro B50 16GB, starting from $299, and the Intel Arc Pro B60 24GB for around $500 per GPU.

That's per GPU because the Arc Pro B60 is designed for systems that can house multiple B60 GPUs in scalable AI inference workstations dubbed 'Project Battlematrix.' We have to see these systems up and running at Computex 2025, where up to 8 Intel Arc Pro GPUs offer up to 192GB of VRAM to support 70B+ parameter models with full software support and optimization.

According to the performance chart below, the new Intel Arc Pro B50 is set to offer an efficient mainstream option for AI workstations compared to the NVIDIA RTX A1000.

ASUS always has a ton to show off at Computex, and this year is no different with Computex 2025 seeing the company show off its new fleet of ROG Zephyrus G14 and G16 gaming laptops rocking up to NVIDIA's new flagship GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU.

We'll start with the ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 gaming laptop that features up to AMD's new Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 "Strix Point" APU, and up to NVIDIA's new GeForce RTX 5080 Laptop GPU with 16GB of GDDR7 memory and support for DLSS 4 and Max-Q technologies. The system supports up to 64GB of LPDDR5X memory, Wi-Fi 7 support, and more.

We've got a 14-inch ROG Nebula Display OLED panel, with a 3K resolution and smooth 120Hz refresh rate and just 0.2ms response time with NVIDIA G-SYNC support. The new ROG Zephyrus G14 gaming laptop weighs just 1.5kg, inside of a thin 1.59cm thick chassis, as well as USB Type-C with DisplayPort 2.1 and USB-PD 3.0 support.

MSI is debuting many new gaming monitors at Computex 2025, and one that caught my eye ahead of its official unveiling was the MPG 271QR QD-OLED X50, the world's first QD-OLED gaming monitor with an AI Care Sensor.

Computex 2025 is about to begin, and I've managed to get a sneak peek at what MSI is cooking up behind the scenes. The MPG 271QR QD-OLED X50 is a standout among MSI's new gaming monitor additions. It will be one of the few QD-OLED gaming monitors on the market that attempts to completely iron out any burn-in occurring on these gorgeous QD-OLED panels.

The MPG 271QR QD-OLED X50 will be trying to achieve this through its AI Care Sensor, a camera placed right underneath the MSI logo on the front of the display that takes photos every 0.2 seconds for real-time human detection. The camera, combined with the Neural Processing Unit (NPU) built into the display, will be able to track the movements of a human user and determine when they aren't in front of the monitor. When the monitor determines the human isn't present, it will significantly reduce brightness or enter sleep mode.

GIGABYTE has unveiled several new and refreshed motherboards at Computex 2025. But far from being boards with a new coat of paint, the new boards offer some interesting and practical improvements and innovations.

GIGABYTE is keen to promote the advantages of its X3D Turbo Mode 2, which promises to boost the performance of AMD AM5 CPUs by up to 15% in gaming and a whopping 35% in multi-threaded benchmarks. In fact, the new boards incorporate the X3D moniker right into their name. These include the X870E AORUS Master X3D Ice, X870E AORUS Pro X3D Ice, and X870E AORUS Elite X3D Ice.

Alongside purported performance gains, the new models incorporate a WiFi 7 driver into the BIOS itself and redesigned M.2 SSD mechanisms. These include thermal pads on both sides of the drive, leading to a reported temperature reduction of up to 12 degrees Celsius. They also feature magnetically aligned heatsinks, making it easier to attach the larger heatsinks in particular. We tried it and it's certainly true that the redesigned retention mechanisms are dead simple to detach and reattach.

ASUS is infusing its premium ROG Rapture gaming router line-up with AI, with the new ROG Rapture GT-BE19000AI Tri-band Gaming Router announced and showcased at Computex 2025. One of the advanced AI features includes the new ROG AI Game Booster for real-time optimization to reduce ping times, jitter, and packet loss.

This also extends to being able to prioritize traffic for gaming, streaming video, downloading, or file sharing, which means you can still play competitive games while also downloading new titles or updates to other games without skipping a beat. The AI features here are broad and impressive, covering everything from improving WiFi stability through noise detection to intelligent ad and tracker blockers.

At Computex 2025, we even saw the ROG Rapture GT-BE19000AI's AI capabilities used in a Smart Home environment, where security cameras can identify people and automatically turn on lights when they approach a door or move from room to room. Spec-wise and physically, the ROG Rapture GT-BE19000AI is an absolute beast with WiFi 7, throughput up to 19 Gbps, and a coverage area of up to 3,500 square feet.

MSI informed me several weeks ago that it was preparing to release a new next-generation QD-OLED gaming monitor that pushed the boundaries of what is possible with QD-OLED technology, and now I've spotted that monitor ahead of the official unveiling at Computex 2025.

QD-OLED pixel technology is truly being upgraded this year, with companies such as MSI taking bleeding-edge Samsung panels and modifying them with proprietary software and physical designs. The latest in QD-OLED technology is 500Hz refresh rate panels with a 2560 x 1440p (QHD) resolution. These panels are the new dream monitor for competitive gamers who want to keep the stunning visuals provided by a QD-OLED panel, but also want the highest refresh rate possible.

Typically there is a trade off when hitting these insanely high refresh rates, with the compromise being to achieve 500Hz you need to step back to a TN panel, costing color performance and overall image clarity. However, those days are now behind us, as MSI is about to unveil the MSI MAG 272QP X50, which sports a 4th generation QD-OLED panel that can achieve a 500Hz refresh rate over HDMI and DisplayPort connections.

In celebration of the release of DOOM: The Dark Ages, ASUS ROG has constructed a new gaming PC to capture the essence of the iconic DOOM Slayer.

ASUS had the new PC on display at the ROG Media Day, where it unveiled a selection of new products it will be showcasing at Computex 2025. DOOM: The Dark Ages was used to showcase the power of many of ASUS ROG's latest laptops and PC configurations, along with the unveiling of a new DOOM: The Dark Ages-themed graphics card, which will be priced at $2,000. That graphics card was also found in The Dark Ages-themed PC, which ASUS informed me was built to represent the iconic DOOM Slayer.

The desktop PC is the same color as the Slayer armor and has custom DOOM glyphs placed on the CPU cooler and underneath the OLED gaming monitor. Moreover, the case features a nice red LED throughout its design, which represents the blood the Slayer leaves in his wake as he carves through the hordes of Hell. The ROG ASTRAL is ASUS's new flagship GeForce RTX GPU, a quad-fan beast designed for the GeForce RTX 5080 and GeForce RTX 5090. Earlier this year, we reviewed the ROG Astral GeForce RTX 5080 and praised its "incredible 4K gaming performance" that delivers up to double-digit gains over NVIDIA's Founders Edition reference design.

With the arrival of DOOM: The Dark Ages on PC and consoles, ASUS has partnered with Bethesda and id Software to create a custom ROG Astral GeForce RTX 5080 DOOM Edition GPU to celebrate the latest release in the iconic series. With custom colors that include a couple of fans looking like the Slayer's, gold fins, and a custom backplate, it's an incredible-looking GPU.

At Computex 2025, we got to go hands-on with one of these rare beasts (the ROG Astral is one of the largest GPUs on the market), as only 666 are being made, and even used it to play some DOOM.

A competitive gaming mouse designed for the main stage at events like Intel Extreme Masters often follows a similar design principle: a symmetrical shape that supports multiple grip styles, ultralightweight builds, and low-latency performance. The new ROG Harpe II Ace, a wireless gaming mouse sequel from ASUS, ticks all of these boxes and more.

Co-developed alongside Valorant 2023 Champions Winner Demon 1, the new ROG Harpe II Ace features a symmetrical shape to support both Claw and Fingertip grip styles and precise dimensions chosen after several iterations. Things become more impressive when you drill down into the specs.

The impressive 48-gram ultra-lightweight build (one of the lightest we've seen), features a body created from a 'Bio-Based Nylon Shell' that is lighter and stronger than regular nylon. After going hands-on with the ROG Harpe II Ace at Computex 2025, it definitely feels like it could be one of the best ROG gaming mouse updates in a long time.

ASUS is leading the charge for Computex 2025, and one of the many products the company has unveiled is new additions to its OLED gaming monitor lineup, specifically the ROG Strix WOLED XG32UCWG, a 4K at 165Hz and FHD 330Hz dual mode monitor.

One of the biggest problems with OLED gaming monitors is how prominent reflections can be with the display. These reflections can cause the pixels underneath them to appear brighter than they actually are, and ASUS has concentrated on fixing that problem with its new addition to its OLED monitor gaming lineup. The XG32UCWG is a 4K WOLED with the company's new TrueBlack glossy coating.

This new glossy coating is designed to significantly reduce the amount of reflections that are seen when light sources are directly hitting the panel. In addition to the TrueBlack glossy coating, the new monitor has a frame rate boost feature enabling it to switch between 4K at 165Hz to FHD (1920 x 1080p) at 330Hz. To accompany these glorious new specifications, ASUS has equipped the new monitor with OLED Care Pro features, which include the new Neo Proximity sensor, which has been updated with a new UI to show users how far away they are from the IR detection scanner.

It took a dual-CPU compute server running nonstop for seven and a half months. Inside was a high-performance storage cluster with 2.2 petabytes (PB) of storage capacity, running intensive workloads up to 100+ GB/s. The storage comprised KIOXIA's 30.72 TB CM Series and 15.36 TB CD Series PCIe NVMe SSDs configured in a NAS (network attached storage) environment.

The goal? Calculate the most accurate value of the infinite mathematical constant called Pi. This new 300 trillion accurate value for Pi has set a new Guinness World Record, smashing through the previous record of 64 trillion digits and even surpassing community-recognized records of 100 and 202 trillion digits by up to 50%.

GIGABYTE unveiled its new AORUS RTX 5090 AI Box at Computex 2025, where we were on the ground snapping some photos of the new external GPU solution.

The company might not be the first with a high-end external GPU solution -- something ASUS revealed earlier this year with its ROG XG 2025 external GPU -- but it has the fastest eGPU solution with its new AORUS RTX 5090 AI Box. GIGABYTE's new AORUS RTX 5090 AI Box is an external GPU box with a built-in ATX 3.1 PSU and a super-fast Thunderbolt 5 interface blasting up to 120Gbps of bandwidth thanks to the use of asymmetric bandwidth boost.

This means that the host to the GPU transmit stream speeds along at 120Gbps, while the host to the GPU stream runs at 40Gbps. The new AORUS RTX 5090 AI Box has a GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card inside, and an AIO cooler to keep thermals under control.

Computex 2025 is officially underway, and ASUS has kicked things off with the world's fastest esports gaming monitor, the ROG Strix Ace XG248QSG, a 24.1-inch Super TN panel that boasts an insane 610 Hz refresh rate with 0.1ms response time.

The new monitor is designed for esports gamers and comes with ELMB 2 for enhanced motion blur reduction in full screen, while offering 3X increased brightness. According to ASUS, the ROG Strix ACE XG248QSG has a typical brightness of 350 nits.

ASUS is concentrating on reducing input lag, and with its latest monitor, it includes GameFast technology that delivers a ridiculously low input lag of 0.8ms, 2.25 times faster than the competition within the same category.

The new ROG Falcata, announced at Computex 2025, is ASUS's new wireless gaming keyboard with an innovative split design. Yes, splitting the keyboard in two offers gamers one of the most ergonomic 75% form factor options on the market - and it's packed with impressive design touches.

Not only does the keyboard split, but this feature extends to the silicone wrist rest. With multiple adjustable height and tilt options, it can support a wide range of orientations, including placing the left side of the keyboard right next to your mouse for immersive competitive or esports gaming.

Naturally, joining the two sides delivers a traditional keyboard experience; however, the two individual pieces do not snap together with a strong connection, allowing multiple orientations, including keeping the halves slightly apart.

Intel has demoed its next-generation Core Ultra 300 laptop CPU family, codenamed Panther Lake at Computex 2025. Intel didn't give too much away when it comes to performance, but it was confident enough to show off demo systems running DaVinci Resolve, indicating the development of the chips is well advanced, with at least 7 months to go before systems hit the shelves.

The chips were shown running on validation platforms. Both systems had copper heatsinks and fans, yet with so many months to go before launch, there is surely a lot of work still to do, particularly on the BIOS side of things.

Intel wasn't entirely closed-lipped regarding performance though, saying that its aiming for Arrow Lake-H performance, while maintaining the power efficiency of Lunar Lake.

NVIDIA Enterprise AI Factory validated design, partners are now building a new class of on-premises infrastructure, featuring RTX PRO Servers, NVIDIA Spectrum-X Ethernet networking, NVIDIA BlueField DPUs, NVIDIA-Certified Storage systems, and NVIDIA AI Enterprise, all to "accelerate product design and engineering simulation applications, as well as a quickly growing catalog of AI-enabled business systems and teams of digital AI agents".

The GeForce RTX 5060 is launching today, starting from $299. Although our review won't be ready for a while due to no pre-release drivers being available, NVIDIA is sharing performance data for some of the most popular games running on the mainstream GPU. 100+ FPS running in 1080p with Max Settings, which includes 223 FPS for DOOM: The Dark Ages.

However, with DLSS 4 enabled using the Quality preset for Super Resolution and the maximum Multi Frame Generation setting enabled in most games, which is 4X, three AI frames are generated for each single DLSS 4 Super Resolution frame - you're looking at a big asterisk.

In addition to the above, DOOM: The Dark Ages also uses the Ultra preset (not Nightmare) with a custom texture pool size to account for the GPU's 8GB of VRAM. The GeForce RTX 5060, featuring 8GB of fast GDDR7 memory, means some games need settings lowered to accommodate the VRAM capacity limitation.

id Software's DOOM: The Dark Ages, the third game and prequel entry in the modern DOOM re-imagining for the studio, is available now for PC and consoles. Running on id Tech 8, the ray-tracing-only game has already shipped with ray-traced global illumination and RT powered gameplay mechanics like hit detection as standard for its impressive visuals and first-person action.

In June, the game will receive an update on PC that will enable Path Tracing or Full Ray Tracing with support for DLSS 4's new AI-enhanced Ray Reconstruction, dramatically improving the game's visual fidelity. As seen in the screenshots provided by NVIDIA for Computex 2025, the Path-Traced version of DOOM: The Dark Ages looks phenomenal, with better reflections and more realistic lighting.

Ray Reconstruction has been a game changer for games with Full Ray Tracing, and on GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs, DLSS 4 Super Resolution and Multi Frame Generation will deliver triple-digit performance. Check out the comparison shots of DOOM: The Dark Ages with Path Tracing enabled below.
