Borderlands developers Gearbox have released an official gameplay overview trailer for Rafa, the Exo-Soldier that embodies the Soldier class of former Borderlands games.
Gearbox has teased it will be rolling out gameplay overviews for all of its four new Vault Hunters in the coming weeks in a bid to keep the hype train rolling before the release of Borderlands 4, and to kick things off, we have Rafa: the Exo-Soldier.
The overview shows Rafa using his Arc-Knives to slice and dice his way through various enemies, and then spinning around like a Beyblade in a large AOE ability (Area of Effect). To assist Rafa on his killing spree, the soldier has Peacebreaker Cannons that can be thrown on the ground.
Additionally, Rafa has the Apophis Lance, a weapon that fires a plasma ball at enemies that eviscerates them. Rafa appears to be quite a mobile Vault Hunter who will be using his abilities to get up close and personal with his enemies. Borderlands 4 will be arriving on the Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC on September 12, and then released on the Nintendo Switch 2 on October 3.
