Apple's first foldable iPad expected after 2028: new high-end OLED tandem display and COE tech
Apple's first foray into the foldable market will be a foldable iPhone, but after that we'll be introduced to the foldable iPad Pro which is expected in 2028 according to the latest rumors.
Insider @Jukanlosreve on X has posted an Apple OLED transition roadmap update from Meritz Securities, which points to the fat that there is "continued weak demand" for Apple's higher-end OLED iPad Pros, first launched in 2024 with multiple new technologies including tandem displays and hybrid OLED structure.
Apple is expected to unveil the OLED iPad mini as "originally planned" in 2026, while the OLED iPad Air will be "advanced" from 2028 to 2027, a year earlier. However, the upgrade for the OLED iPad Pro is delayed from 2027 to 2028. The upcoming OLED iPad mini and iPad Air will use hybrid OLED structure, a single-stack approach is expected to be used for reducing the cost.
Forza Horizon 5 on PS5 offers full feature parity - except for cross-progression
Forza Horizon 5 is making its way to PlayStation 5 on April 25, and PS5 players won't have to worry about missing out on content. The game will include all the features and updates available on Xbox and PC, with only two caveats: you'll require a Microsoft account, and you won't be able to cross-save.
The requirement to link a Microsoft account was specified in an FAQ on the game's official website. Microsoft mandates account linkage on PS5 on a 'title-by-title' basis, and generally, the presence of cross-play or online services is the determining factor. Sea of Thieves and Grounded, which are both Xbox titles available on PS5, also mandate a Microsoft account to jump into gameplay. However, singleplayer titles like Hi-Fi Rush, and Pentiment are generally absent from this requirement.
While Forza Horizon 5 will support cross-play, cross-progression will not be available between PS5 and other versions of the game. This follows the same precedent as the Steam release, where saves only sync within the platform's ecosystem. Players will need a Microsoft copy (Games Pass or Xbox Store) of the game to take advantage of the feature - so expect to start from scratch if you're on PS5.
NVIDIA to supply 64,000 new AI GPUs for OpenAI, Oracle's new Stargate AI supercomputer in Texas
NVIDIA is preparing 64,000 of its new GB200 AI GPUs for OpenAI and Oracle to use in their expansive new Stargate AI supercomputer.
In a new report from Bloomberg, we're learning that NVIDIA's super-fast GB200 AI GPUs will be supplied for the Stargate AI supercomputer by the end of 2026 according to "a person familiar with the matter". These new GB200 chips will be added to multiple halls of the AI data center in phases, with the initial rollout of 16,000 GB200 AI GPUs to be provided by the summer.
The new Stargate AI supercomputer project was announced by President Trump along with OpenAI, Japan's SoftBank Group Corp., and Oracle at the White House in January 2025. An OpenAI spokesperson said the AI startup is working with Oracle on the design and delivery of the new data center that is destined for Abilene, Texas, USA, and that Oracle is in charge of getting and operating the Stargate supercomputer built there.
Fake playtest invites are targeting Steam users again in latest phishing scam
Scammers are posing as developers of Sand, sending out fake playtest invites in an attempt to steal Steam login credentials. Reports from users on Reddit warn that these fraudulent invitations lead to phishing sites disguised as official Steam pages, tricking players into entering their account details.
The scam relies on a common tactic - using a fake domain that looks like Steam but isn't. Instead of directing users to steampowered.com, the links send them to addresses like store.steampowered.invite948190.com, where "steampowered" is just a subdomain, not the actual website. This tricks users into believing they're on an official Steam page when, in reality, they're handing over their login details to scammers.
To make matters worse, some of these phishing attempts use homograph attacks, swapping English letters with nearly identical-looking Cyrillic characters to make the URLs appear even more convincing.
AMD Radeon RX 9050 teased: entry-level RDNA 4 should compete with rumored RTX 5050 GPU
AMD looks to be cooking up a new entry-level RDNA 4-based Radeon RX 9050 graphics card, with a Mexican retailer listing the new Radeon RX 9050 and Radeon RX 9060 graphics cards on its website.
We didn't have a 50-class card from AMD with RDNA 3, but it looks like they're returning with RDNA 4 after the Radeon RX 5000 and Radeon RX 6000 series GPUs -- except for the Radeon RX 5500 XT and RX 6500 XT -- we haven't had a 50-class card for a while now.
In a post on X by user @JosefSt42064525, Mexican retailer DDTECH has one of its filters enabled with the Radeon RX 9050 on the left. Not only is the new Radeon RX 9050 listed, but the new Radeon RX 9060 is also listed.
Steve Wozniak was an early Tesla fan - now he calls its design a 'miserable' experience.
Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak was once one of Tesla's biggest advocates. A decade ago, he praised the company's innovation and called his Model S the best car he had ever owned. But nowadays, his opinion has shifted dramatically.
As reported by Fortune, Wozniak has been a very vocal critic of both Musk and Tesla. In particular, criticizing Tesla's evolving design, calling the user experience "miserable" and the company's approach to technology one of the worst he has encountered.
NVIDIA's budget-focused GeForce RTX 5050 leaks: cheaper Blackwell GPU with GDDR6 memory
NVIDIA's new GeForce RTX 5050 graphics card has been in the headlines this week, with some fresh information on the upcoming mid-range Blackwell GPU appearing.
We should expect NVIDIA's new GeForce RTX 5050 to drop down to GDDR6 memory, leaving the rest of the RTX 50 series GPU fleet with GDDR7, making it more budget-focused. AMD's new Radeon RX 9000 series "RDNA 4" has launched with the RX 9070 XT and RX 9070, but we can expect budget-friendly RDNA 4 coming soon to compete with budget-friendly Blackwell.
In a new report from Benchlife, we're learning that the RTX 5050 should have 8GB of GDDR6 memory, which aligns with the mobile GeForce RTX 5050 Laptop GPU leaks from earlier this year that teased 8GB of GDDR6. In terms of specifications, NVIDIA's new mid-range GeForce RTX 5050 along with its 8GB GDDR6 should have a 135W TDP powered by a single 8-pin power connector.
Paramount skips voice actors, opting for shockingly bad AI slop in 'Novocaine' film promo
Paramount Pictures appears to be experimenting with cheap AI-generated content based on its promotion for the film Novocaine, an action-thriller starring Jack Quaid set to release on Friday.
In a recent Instagram post, users sighted a reel promoting the film that blatantly utilizes AI scripting and narration - a content style that's lazy enough from spam accounts and content farms, let alone a major film production company.
AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition for Radeon GPUs just got it biggest update in years
Last week AMD launched its first RDNA 4 GPUs with the release of the new Radeon RX 9070 and Radeon RX 9070 XT - two cards that have received universally positive reviews thanks to their performance, improvements in key areas like ray-tracing and AI, and pricing. RDNA 4's debut also saw the release of AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition 25.3.1 - the most significant Radeon driver release in years.
Hardware-wise, it supports a wide range of new GPUs and Ryzen CPUs with integrated Radeon graphics. For RDNA 4 early adopters, driver-level support for the latest and most impressive AMD Fidelity FX Super Resolution 4 (FSR 4) upscaling is finally a worthy alternative to NVIDIA's DLSS. Exclusive to RDNA 4 and the Radeon RX 9000 Series, FSR 4 is available in AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition 25.3.1, which will override FSR in games with built-in AMD FSR 3.1 support to the new AI version.
AMD's driver-based Frame Generation, which is supported by several generations of RDNA graphics, has also been updated. AMD Fluid Motion Frames 2.1 promises improved image quality and reduced ghosting for a smoother experience.
GeForce NOW adds support for Capcom's smash hit Monster Hunter Wilds
Although it has a 'Mixed' user review rating on Steam due to issues with performance, bugs, crashes, and multiplayer, Capcom's Monster Hunter Wilds is undoubtedly a smash hit. With an all-time peak concurrent player count of 1,384,608, which makes it the 5th most popular PC game of all time on Steam, it's showing no signs of slowing down.
Good news for GeForce NOW subscribers: Monster Hunter Wilds is supported on NVIDIA's cloud-gaming platform, allowing users to play the game on up to a GeForce RTX 4080-class rig, which might be needed based on all the reports on how the game runs. The GeForce NOW game version includes full support for ray-tracing, DLSS, Frame Generation, and even G-SYNC for displays or TVs with variable refresh rates. These enhanced features are available to Performance and Ultimate members.
GeForce NOW has also supported Split Fiction from Hazelight Studios, the next game from the award-winning studio behind It Takes Two. Like that game, this is a cinematic couch co-op game played in split-screen locally or over a network. The best part is that you don't need two copies of the game to play it co-op, as anyone who purchases Split Fiction gets a Split Fiction: Friend's Pass version to share with a friend.

Kingmakers enemies are medieval but not dumb - they'll recognise, react and 'counter-balance'
Kingmakers went viral on social media due to its fun, unique concept. Mowing down hordes of medieval enemies with modern vehicles and weaponry - it's a power fantasy to behold
However, there's more to the game than just mowing down foot soldiers. In an interview with Edge Magazine, game director Paul Firsch discussed the strategic nature of Kingmakers.
The Last of Us Part 3 probably won't happen but Sony has a limited edition DualSense controller
HBO's second season of its The Last of Us adaptation is set to premiere on April 13, and ahead of its debut, Naughty Dog's Neil Druckmann was questioned about a potential The Last of Us Part 3. Druckmann is the director of the critically acclaimed The Last of Us Part II on PS4, PS5, and PC and the co-showrunner on the TV adaptation.
When asked about a potential third game in the series, Neil Druckmann responded, "I guess the only thing I would say is don't bet on there being more of The Last of Us." Adding "this could be it," he hints that the television series' upcoming second season could be the last we see of the franchise going forward. The acclaimed Sony studio's next game will be the brand-new sci-fi game Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, which got its big reveal late last year.
No The Last of Us Part 3 is a definite blow to fans of the series and a little bit weird when you factor in the sheer number of times Sony has released, remastered, and remade the first two games - which now span three consoles (PS3, PS4, PS5) and PC. On that note, to celebrate the PC launch of the second game and the second season of the hit HBO series, Sony is releasing a The Last of Us Limited Edition DualSense wireless controller.
Elon Musk's White House gaming PC - 49-inch Samsung Odyssey G9 and a GeForce RTX 4060?
Elon Musk has installed a gaming PC in his 'DOGE' White House office, and New York Times reporter Kate Conger posted a photo of his setup in the Secretary of War Suite in the Eisenhower Building. Granted, the name of the office alone and this being the White House carries the air of serious business. However, upon closer inspection, Elon Musk's gaming PC setup raises a few questions.
First up, the monitor is impressive. The 49-inch Samsung Odyssey G9 dual-QHD display is a beast, with its VA panel sporting a resolution of 5120 x 1440 pixels, a 1000R screen curvature, and a 1ms response time. Throw in a super-fast 240 Hz refresh rate, excellent color accuracy, and support for vibrant HDR - and it's the sort of display that would be awesome to play with. For Elon Musk, that would probably be jumping into Diablo 4 or Path of Exile 2 - whenever his account isn't being boosted.
However, when you've got a display with that resolution and a super-high refresh rate, you want to pair it with a powerful GPU - a GeForce RTX 5080 or something a little older like the GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER or GeForce RTX 4090. Although we don't see the build clearly, the GPU looks compact and, upon closer inspection, looks to be either an MSI GeForce RTX 4060 or RTX 4070 Ventus model in white.
Doom: The Dark Ages won't end like Rogue One: 'I mean, that would end the medieval chapter'
With approximately two months until Doom: The Dark Ages releases, one of the questions on gamers' minds relates to 'the prequel problem' - understanding how the game ties into Doom (2016), Doom: Eternal, and how it works within the limitations of established lore.
In a recent interview with PC Gamer, game director Hugo Martin and producer Marty Stratton shed some light on how the game connects to its predecessors. They highlighted how, although the Doomslayer ends up locked in a coffin by the 2016 entry, there's more to the medieval saga.
GeForce RTX 50 Series hotfix driver for black screens and OC cards not running 'at full speed'
Typically, we don't associate driver issues and serious bugs with a GeForce RTX launch; however, NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 50 Series debut has seen many problems and controversies emerge. For early adopters of the GeForce RTX 5080 and GeForce RTX 5090, one issue that users have flagged is GPU crashes, resulting in a 'black screen.' Without an image, the only course of action is a reboot.
The good news is that the driver team at NVIDIA has been engaging with users reporting this issue and has released a hotfix driver to resolve it, which made its way into the GeForce RTX 5070's launch-day Game Ready Driver. However, the 'black screen' issue seems challenging to fix as NVIDIA has just released GeForce Hotfix Display Driver Version 572.75 to address the problem - again.
The latest Hotfix Display Driver targets GeForce RTX 50 Series owners and builds on the March 5 release of Game Ready Driver 572.70. Interestingly, it resolves another issue related to the overclocking performance of the GeForce RTX 5080 and RTX 5090.
AMD's mainstream RDNA 4 GPU, the Radeon RX 9060 X, to launch with 8GB and 16GB options
AMD's next RDNA 4 GPUs will target the mainstream market. A new leak from ACER (via Videocardz) confirms the specs for the Radeon RX 9060 XT. Like the GeForce RTX 5060 Ti, the GPU is expected to launch with two variants: one with 8GB of GDDR6 memory and one with 16GB of GDDR6 memory.
Details on the GPU chip, configuration, and expected performance are all TBC, but we know all models will ship with a single 8-pin power connector with a recommended 500W power supply. The 8GB and 16GB of GDDR6 memory will also feature a speed of 20 Gbps (similar to the recent Radeon RX 9070 Series), on a slower 128-bit interface.
The listing confirms the display configuration: a single HDMI 2.1 port and two DisplayPort 2.1a ports. In addition to 8GB and 16GB variants, OC models will push the boost clock speed like we've seen with the Radeon RX 9070 Series.
Leaked concept art showcases the batcycle from scrapped Damien Wayne Batman game
Newly surfaced concept art from WB Games Montreal's cancelled Damian Wayne Batman game, codenamed Project Sabbath, has appeared online after an artist shared 2015 renders on Instagram.
The game was set in a dystopian future where an older Bruce Wayne had passed the Batman mantle to Damian Wayne. Unlike the Arkham series, Project Sabbath was developed as a standalone project with its own continuity, offering a fresh take on Gotham's future. The game featured the Batcycle as a primary mode of transportation, functioning similarly to the Batmobile in Arkham Knight. This mechanic was later incorporated into Gotham Knights.
The game was quietly canceled sometime between 2016 and 2019. Voice actor Josh Keaton, who was set to voice Damian Wayne, initially suggested that major leaks revealing the game's plot and concept art played a role in its cancellation. However, Bloomberg's Jason Schreier later clarified that the leaks were not the reason the project was scrapped. Following the cancellation, WB Games Montreal shifted focus to Gotham Knights, which launched in 2022. While elements of Project Sabbath, like the Batcycle, were repurposed, the Damian Wayne-led Batman concept never resurfaced.
GeForce RTX 5060 Ti specs leak, 8GB and 16GB variants confirmed
Rumors have been circulating that NVIDIA plans to release two versions of the upcoming GeForce RTX 5060 Ti - one with 8GB of VRAM and one with 16 GB. With the latest leak from industry insider @kopite7kimi on X, we now have specs for the upcoming GPU confirming two models: a GeForce RTX 5060 Ti with 8GB of GDDR7 memory on a 128-bit bus and one with 16GB of GDDR7 memory on the same 128-bit bus.
The GB206-300-A1 RTX Blackwell chip will power both cards and ship with 4608 CUDA Cores. This is a modest 6% increase in hardware compared to the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti, which features 4352 CUDA Cores. The GeForce RTX 5070 shipped with a 4% increase in CUDA Cores compared to the GeForce RTX 4070 and delivered 20% faster performance.
So, with these specs, what can we expect from the GeForce RTX 5060 Ti? Assuming RTX Blackwell performance scaling remains the same, the lower the stack we go, the GeForce RTX 5060 Ti could deliver up to GeForce RTX 4070 performance levels.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance II update arrives March 13 - mod support, barber mode & more
Warhorse Studios have officially announced patch 1.2 for Kingdom Come Deliverance II, which will be arriving on Thursday, March 13. The update introduces official mod support, barber mode, and improvements ranging from combat mechanics to NPC behavior.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance II launched last month to critical acclaim - holding an overwhelmingly positive 88 on Metacritic, and becoming an early contender for Game of the Year. The title has been universally praised for its optimization, delivering a generational jump in visuals while delivering a narrative gameplay experience befitting of a king.
While most would argue KCD2 requires no adjustments to the experience in its vanilla state - mod support will allow players to create and customise the game to their heart's content. The first game received its mod support in October 2019, almost a year and a half after its 2018 release. The one-month turnaround for mod tools this time around is a rapid one - and no doubt, we'll see wider adoption in the modding community due to the breakthrough success of the title.
Trump's tariffs likely the nail in the coffin for physical games, experts say
As a result of tariffs introduced by the Trump administration, physical game discs, which are primarily produced in Mexico, will be receiving a 25 percent tax. As a result, analysts believe this will be the nail in the coffin for physical editions of games, accelerating the industry's shift toward digital-only distribution.

On social media, Circana analyst Mat Piscatella commented on the new tariffs, highlighting that it's likely physical games will simply no longer get made, with publishers moving to an all-digital strategy to avoid the added costs and logistical hurdles.
