Late April we saw Avengers: Infinity War break the weekend box office record, now the newest Marvel film has broken another box office record.

Infinity War was released to overseas countries on the 25th of April, then was released in the UK on the 26th, the US on the 27th and finally in Russia on May 3rd. Combing the sales of each of those countries, Avengers: Infinity War has become the fastest film in history to make $1 billion.

The numbers won't stop there though, currently Avengers: Infinity War is sitting at around $1.16 billion without second biggest movie market getting a taste of Thanos. Infinity War will be released in China on May 11th, so expect quite a considerable increase to the already massive number.
