Fallout London has an unusual story. The mod was so popular and anticipated before release that it got its own official spot on CD Projekt's Good Old Games (GOG) storefront. This paid off big time, as Fallout London (or FOLON for short) is one of the most popular video game mods of all time with over 1 million downloads.

Now the team is celebrating Fallout London's one year anniversary by potentially hinting at something new.

"One year on... 🤯 We've seen the streams, the memes, the Let's Plays, the reviews, the feedback.

"From all of us here at Team FOLON, thank you. Your support means the world to us. You made this first year what it is, and we can't wait to show you what we've been working on."

While Fallout London can be beaten in 25 hours, it took tens of thousands of hours to actually make. The FOLON team was so dedicated to the mod that one of the programmers turned down a job at Bethesda to keep working on Fallout London.
