TL;DR: AMD has launched the Radeon RX 9060 XT in 8GB and 16GB models, priced at $299 and $349, respectively, featuring a 32 Compute Unit RDNA 4 GPU and 128-bit memory. The 16GB version outperforms NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 8GB by 6%, positioning it as a top GPU under $350.

AMD has fully revealed the new Radeon RX 9060 XT at Computex 2025, confirming the details we've been waiting for - price and availability. As already confirmed, the mainstream RDNA 4 GPU is set to become available in two models, one with 8GB of GDDR6 VRAM and one with 16GB, on a 128-bit Memory Interface.

Outside of the VRAM capacity, both versions ship with the same 32 Compute Unit chip (half the size of the flagship Radeon RX 9070 XT) that includes 32MB of AMD Infinity Cache and a Boost Clock speed of up to 3.13 GHz. The Radeon RX 9060 XT 16GB features a higher TBP (Total Board Power) rating of 160W compared to the Radeon RX 9060 XT 8GB's 150W.

As for the pricing and release date, both cards are set to launch on June 5. The suggested retail price of the Radeon RX 9060 XT is $299, and the Radeon RX 9060 XT 16GB is $349 USD. AMD notes that models from Acer, ASRock, ASUS, GIGABYTE, PowerColor, Sapphire, Vastarmor, XFX, and Yeston are on the way.

AMD is supplying benchmark performance numbers for the Radeon RX 16GB GPU, which is being positioned as a direct competitor to the GeForce RTX 5060 Series. AMD is comparing the performance of the Radeon RX 9060 XT 16GB against the GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 8GB, which carries an MSRP of $379 USD.

As you can see in the chart, the Radeon RX 9060 XT 16GB is notably faster in several titles. However, it is unclear which column represents what game. We do know that the list includes popular games like Alan Wake 2, Black Myth: Wukong, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Cyberpunk 2077, DOOM: The Dark Ages, Dragon Age: The Veilguard, F1 24, and more. On average, the Radeon RX 9060 XT 16GB is 6% faster than the GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 8GB.

Also, as the power rating is listed at 180W on the chart, we have to assume that this is an OC model of the Radeon RX 9060 XT 16GB compared to the GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 8GB running at stock settings. And, we have to assume that the games with the most significant performance improvement are those with VRAM limitations that would not be present with the GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16GB. So, the 6% figure could change. That said, the GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16GB GPU carries a 23% higher MSRP of $429 USD.

AMD claims that the Radeon RX 9060 XT 16GB is the most powerful GPU available for under $350, which looks true based on what we're seeing here. We'll go hands-on with a model soon enough, so stay tuned for our full review. In the meantime, it's worth taking the numbers in the above benchmark chart with a grain of salt, as it doesn't paint a clear picture of the Radeon RX 9060 XT 8GB's performance in the same games or NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16GB.

Regardless, the Radeon RX 9060 XT 8GB looks like it will offer a sizable performance boost compared to the GeForce RTX 5060 8GB, which is also priced at $299.
