With NVIDIA launching its GeForce RTX 5060 Series and AMD prepping to debut the Radeon RX 9060 XT, fresh rumors are now pointing to Intel entering the mix with a potential Intel Arc B770 reveal at Computex 2025. This would be the company's flagship 'Battlemage' GPU, building on the goodwill from December's launch of the mainstream Intel Arc B580.

Although the Intel Arc B580 has had issues with availability and pricing, the 12GB mainstream GPU offers decent 1440p gaming performance, is faster than the GeForce RTX 4060, and is more affordable. The long-rumored Intel Arc B770, which will ship with up to 32 Xe2 cores and 16GB of VRAM on a fast 256-bit memory interface, could be here sooner than you think.
The Intel Arc B770 is based on the "BMG-G31" chip, which recently appeared on shipping manifests for an Intel facility in Vietnam. According to a new report at Wccftech, this facility is responsible for producing the Intel Arc Limited Edition GPUs for the company, pointing to it as the company's next big discrete GPU launch.
Of course, with the GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16GB GPU already here, pricing and performance will again play a vital role in how Intel's flagship Battlemage GPU is perceived. This GPU has been heavily rumored to arrive for quite some time, and based on what we've heard in the past, the performance should be competitive with the GeForce RTX 4070. As the RTX 5060 Ti fell short of matching the RTX 4070's raw gaming performance, a more affordable option that's faster than the RTX 4070 and more affordable could make for a compelling product.
As we saw in our review of the Intel Arc B580, the company has made significant improvements to the driver side of Arc Graphics, and its XeSS 2 Super Resolution and Frame Generation technology are both promising. Still, competing against NVIDIA in the mainstream and mid-range GPU space is a massive uphill battle even for AMD, but more competition in this space will help drive innovation and better pricing for all PC gamers.
