After an exciting week of presentations, demonstrations, keynotes, and hands-on experience with all of the latest PC and gaming technology at Computex 2025 in Taipei, two things are true - we got to see seemingly countless cool things that are either available now, on the horizon, or coming at some point in the future. That, and we're tired and need a few days off to recover.

Naturally, this year's theme surrounding the show was all about what's next for AI. With advanced models, new applications, and hardware from companies like NVIDIA, AMD, and Intel, there was a real sense of AI becoming integral in our daily lives. And that applies to gaming, too, as one of our highlights was seeing the future of streaming and content creation from Streamlabs and NVIDIA.

Some fantastic hardware and gaming gear are on the horizon, from something as simple as a new keyboard or PC case to Phison announcing a game-changer for PCIe Gen5 storage for consumers everywhere. So, without further ado, here's TweakTown's Best of Computex 2025 - presented in no particular order.

ASUS's new premium ROG Falcata split 75% wireless keyboard is all about ergonomics

TweakTown's Best of Computex 2025 Awards - Tech, Hardware, Gaming Gear, and AI 2

ASUS has been creating some fantastic premium gaming keyboards in recent years, notably with its Azoth range for its ROG (Republic of Gamers) brand. This year, the company unveiled and showcased the new ROG Falcata, an innovative new board that effectively splits a 75% form factor keyboard in two. This immediately adds a layer of ergonomics and versatility to a premium gaming keyboard that is either something you haven't seen before or extremely rare.

It's especially impressive when you add the improved magnetic switches, multiple layers of sound-dampening, silicone wrist rests, and a unique dial and LED bar that lets you adjust switch actuation points on-the-fly, directly on the keyboard, with a visual indicator bar showcasing the adjustments in real time. Plus, it feels fantastic to use.

ZOTAC has created its own impressive Steam Deck 2

TweakTown's Best of Computex 2025 Awards - Tech, Hardware, Gaming Gear, and AI 3

Valve is slowly opening up access to SteamOS to more hardware makers (as seen with the latest Lenovo Legion Go), and AMD is ready to unleash its latest and greatest Radeon-powered APU with the new Ryzen Z2 Extreme chip. Access to both is relatively complicated unless you're at the top of the list. Not content with sitting on the sidelines, ZOTAC GAMING has done something we didn't expect with its latest prototype, ZOTAC GAMING portable handheld - create its own Steam Deck 2.

Using the Steam Deck-like layout and form factor of its original ZONE handheld, ZOTAC has taken the mobile AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor, which features the same Radeon 890M GPU as the Z2 Extreme and the gaming-focused Manjaro Linux OS, and started cooking. With Steam Big Picture Mode and custom overlays that give you access to all system features, going hands-on with ZOTAC's latest handheld felt like playing with a more powerful Steam Deck.

Corsair's AIR 5400 is a triple-chamber case designed to separate your CPU and GPU cooling

TweakTown's Best of Computex 2025 Awards - Tech, Hardware, Gaming Gear, and AI 4

Corsair's Computex 2025 booth is always a treat because odds are it will unveil and present something we haven't seen before. This year was no different, thanks to the new Corsair Air 5400 announcement - the company's first triple-chamber case. Come to think of it, it was probably our first look at a triple-chamber case period.

This panoramic chassis is impressive for high-end and enthusiast builds because it features a separate chamber or area for the CPU radiator, which allows the GPU and motherboard to get their own dedicated airflow. From there, a third chamber keeps your power supply and expanded storage cool, wrapped up in a stylish look that includes an innovative cable management system and two-piece wraparound curved glass.

ASUS's BTF hidden cable ecosystem levels up with a versatile 1000W connector

TweakTown's Best of Computex 2025 Awards - Tech, Hardware, Gaming Gear, and AI 5

Cable management can be the most challenging part of building a new PC, especially in the age of transparent glass panoramic cases created to showcase components. This is why we've seen the rise of new hidden-cable motherboards that hide key connectors. ASUS's BTF system has always stood out because it was designed to completely remove the need to connect a power cable to a GPU by shifting this to the PCIe slot and the motherboard's rear.

It's impressive to see a high-end GPU without a power cable interfering with its aesthetic, but this year, ASUS introduced a new addition to its BTF system that we'd love to see become mainstream. The detachable GC-HPWR adapter allows any ASUS (or other) GPU to be compatible with the traditional 16-pin connector on the GPU connectivity method or the new BTF standard. It's also rated at 1000W, and ASUS says that it's working on being able to split the load if both methods are connected, which would be an excellent solution for GPUs like the GeForce RTX 5090. At Computex 2025, we saw all this in ROG and TUF Gaming form.

MSI's GPU team is evolving GPU coolers while also bringing back classic old-school designs

TweakTown's Best of Computex 2025 Awards - Tech, Hardware, Gaming Gear, and AI 6

For years, MSI has created stylish, robust, and impressive GeForce RTX gaming GPUs. With the arrival of the RTX Blackwell generation, the company has refined its existing line-up while introducing some impressive new models, like the Vanguard. At Computex 2025, the company's GPU team took us on a visual tour of some cool things on the horizon, including bringing back decades-old designs like the Cyclone and Twin Frozr.

As these designs come from an era when GPU complexity required a single 6 or 8-pin PCIe power cable, MSI's engineers had to work to make them work with a GeForce RTX 5070. With more premium components and modern design touches (the Cyclone now includes a display in the middle of the large single fan), it's a blast from the past that we can get behind. Looking forward, the team is also redesigning how vapor chamber cooling works in preparation for the next generation, which we assume is the GeForce RTX 60 Series. All in all, MSI's GPU team is doing impressive work, which is why we couldn't wait to hand them an award.

Streamlabs and NVIDIA change the face of streaming with AI assistants and sidekicks

Streamlabs is a software company that develops tools and apps that make the lives of streamers and content creators easier while enhancing their ability to engage with viewers. At Computex 2025, we saw the company's new and impressive AI-powered agents and sidekicks running live in a game of Fortnite. Powered by NVIDIA technology that includes using powerful NVIDIA NIM APIs to generate voice, we got to see the AI sidekick engage with the audience by running a poll, commenting on the on-screen action, automatically recording and presenting highlights, and answering general questions about the game.

The AI sidekick is a powerful tool that runs locally on a GeForce RTX GPU and can be used as an off-camera assistant to improve your stream, troubleshoot issues, record gameplay, and dynamically change cameras. And as seen in the video above, they can also accept a TweakTown Best of Computex 2025 award.

MSI's new Prestige 13 AI+ Ukiyo-e Edition laptop looks beautiful, and it's powerful too

TweakTown's Best of Computex 2025 Awards - Tech, Hardware, Gaming Gear, and AI 7

MSI's new limited-edition Prestige 13 AI+ Ukiyo-e Edition laptop is a work of art. It features a beautiful, handcrafted lid that incorporates traditional Japanese art. With its gold-colored piano gloss, the keyboard rounds out the design, presenting a story of nature and technology coming together.

Inside, you've got a powerful little rig with an Intel Core Ultra 9 288V "Lunar Lake" processor, 32GB of LPDDR5X-8533 memory, 1TB of SSD storage, and a 13.3-inch 2.8K (2880 x 1800) OLED display. MSI's Prestige 13 AI+ Ukiyo-e Edition laptop became one of the must-see stops at Computex, and with only 1,000 units being produced, it's sure to become a highly sought-after item when it releases.

Phison's new PS5028-E28 controller is the game-changer Gen5 SSDs have been waiting for

TweakTown's Best of Computex 2025 Awards - Tech, Hardware, Gaming Gear, and AI 8

It's taken a few years, but we've gone from Gen5 SSDs pushing 10 GB/s to over 14 GB/s sequential read speed. It's been fascinating to watch, and the sheer boost to SSD performance this level of speed brings is pretty incredible. However, until now, we've assumed that the trade-off was an unachievable thermal performance and efficiency cost, which is why modern high-speed Gen5 SSDs require active cooling, advanced thermal pads, heatsinks, and more.

This limits the versatility and mainstream potential of cutting-edge Gen5 storage, where you can forget about laptops. Well, or so we thought. At Computex 2025, Phison introduced what we firmly believe is a game-changer for Gen5 storage, thanks to its new PS5028-E28 Gen5 SSD controller. Built on TSMC 6nm technology, it achieves consistent 14.8 GB/s read speeds while only drawing 7W of power. This makes it the perfect candidate for taking high-speed Gen5 SSDs mainstream (14.2 GB/s in a laptop drawing just over 6W) while benefiting the enterprise market with the most efficient Gen5 solution to date.

InWin unveils its incredible and magical ChronoMancy PC chassis

TweakTown's Best of Computex 2025 Awards - Tech, Hardware, Gaming Gear, and AI 9

The towering ChronoMancy PC chassis (1.1 meters tall) from InWin looks like one of those impressive one-of-a-kind PC mods scattered across Computex. It's not. It's an actual limited edition chassis created in honor of the company's 40th anniversary this year. This can be seen in the case of the company's history, which is embedded into the truly stunning design. The company's headquarters can also be found in the design.

However, the new ChronoMancy PC chassis is magical because it's fully animated. You use an actual magic wand to open and close the case, and the chassis plays various music and goes through a series of synchronized light shows. Part trophy, part celebration, this incredible achievement in design can also house the latest high-end PC components, including NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 50 Series.

MSI's new AI-Powered 500Hz QD-OLED display is simply stunning

TweakTown's Best of Computex 2025 Awards - Tech, Hardware, Gaming Gear, and AI 10

A 500Hz 1440p z QD-OLED display might sound overkill, but you'll be convinced when you experience and see the difference it brings to motion clarity. It's around 500Hz where the stunning OLED display technology can present fast-moving and fast-paced action without a hint of motion blur. The new MSI MAG 272QR QD-OLED X50 is what you'd consider an absolute beast for competitive gaming, thanks to its refresh rate and 0.03ms (GtG) response time.

It's also built for cinematic gaming, thanks to a vibrant display and infinite contrast of a QD-OLED panel. In addition to MSI's OLED Care 2.0 suite and a comprehensive three-year warranty, the MAG 272QR QD-OLED X5 also includes an NPU and camera that automatically and intelligently dims and turns off the display when you're not directly in front of it.

ASRock's new flagship X870E Taichi OCF and Nova motherboards are built for performance and breaking records

TweakTown's Best of Computex 2025 Awards - Tech, Hardware, Gaming Gear, and AI 11

At Computex 2025, ASRock introduced its new flagship motherboard for AMD Ryzen CPUs and the AM5 platform, the X870E Taichi OCF motherboard. This board is built for overclocking and supports the latest Ryzen CPUs with a 25-power-phase VRM with 110A SPS, 2 x DDR5 DIMM slots, 2 x PCIe Gen 5.0 x16, 1 x PCIe Gen 4.0 x4, support for the latest wireless and wired networking technologies, and support for 14 dedicated USB devices and peripherals.

For gamers not looking to push DDR5 and CPU speeds to their absolute limit, ASRock also debuted its new X870E Nova WiFi motherboard. It is designed for high-end PC gaming and has enough performance and features to power your gaming for at least the next few years.

Lian Li's Lancool 4 adds some traditional cooling to its modern panoramic views

TweakTown's Best of Computex 2025 Awards - Tech, Hardware, Gaming Gear, and AI 12

Warp-around tempered glass cases were everywhere at Computex, and one drawback of a full glass front panel is that you need to ensure enough air is being drawn into the case from elsewhere. Lian Li's Lancool 4 offers a different, and frankly, "we're surprised we haven't seen this before" best-of-both-worlds solution by incorporating three large custom 140mm intake fans (with hidden cables) into the case's glass front panel.

This also allows the Lancool 4 to have a three-sided glass design with versatile cooling. It doesn't stop there, as the Lancool 4 supports a vertical PSU installation in a separate bottom chamber. You can also install three vertical fans on the bottom of the side panel to further increase the airflow and cooling for high-end GPUs.

GIGABYTE's stylish new AORUS ICE motherboards have an innovative new feature

TweakTown's Best of Computex 2025 Awards - Tech, Hardware, Gaming Gear, and AI 13

For decades, it's been standard practice to be online once you install Windows successfully, and the WiFi driver correctly fires up for the first time. If you run into any issues, sometimes the only solution is time-consuming troubleshooting via running a wired connection or reviewing a list of potential fixes you found on your phone.

This year, GIGABYTE is introducing a new motherboard feature called DriverBIOS. It integrates the high-speed WiFi 7 driver directly into the BIOS, removing the need for Microsoft and Windows OS to handle everything or having to download and install a driver manually over USB. This feature uses Microsoft's WPBT (Windows Platform Binary Table) to execute programs directly from a UEFI BIOS, and it's something we'll probably end up seeing in more motherboards going forward. This is one of the reasons GIGABYTE's AORUS ICE motherboard range impressed us at the show; the other is their stylish design and the rest of their fantastic features.

be quiet!'s new Dark Mount keyboard is for gamers who want something more

TweakTown's Best of Computex 2025 Awards - Tech, Hardware, Gaming Gear, and AI 14

The sheer number of compact 60% and 75% form factor TKL keyboards we saw at Computex this year was impressive, but a little disappointing. Sure, these boards have quickly become the most popular in recent years due to their compact nature and competitive-gaming-first approach to their design, but sometimes, you want additional features. Sometimes, you want a Num Pad, a premium wrist rest, dedicated media controls, macro buttons, and more.

This is one of the reasons why be quiet!'s Dark Mount, the company's first full-sized premium gaming keyboard, immediately stood out. However, it earned an award once we saw how customizable, cutting-edge, and modern it feels. In addition to fantastic feeling hot-swappable switches and keycaps, the NumPad can be connected to either side of the board, the wrist rest is magnetic, and the dedicated media controls can be placed anywhere along the top of the board. Throw in programmable Stream Deck-like buttons that have their displays, and the be quiet!'s Dark Mount could be the feature-packed keyboard to get.

MSI's new Vision Lite 12 is a display for every case and an affordable second screen

TweakTown's Best of Computex 2025 Awards - Tech, Hardware, Gaming Gear, and AI 15

Hardware makers have all been following the "put a screen on it" design philosophy for years, and much like last year, we saw our fair share of PC cases with integrated displays at Computex 2025. However, the new MAG Lite Vision 12 from MSI immediately stood out as a versatile and simple solution for those looking to add a display to the inside or outside of their case.

This larger 12.3-inch display features a 1920 x 720 resolution, connects via USB and DisplayPort technology, and has standard AIO radiator mounting holes. Its 360mm mounting capability impressed us on the show floor. It can be used as a standard secondary display for Windows or to display key system information, art, and animation via the MSI Center app. MSI's plans for the Lite Vision 12 are to make it versatile and affordable, targeting a $129 USD price.
