TL;DR: MSI unveiled new AMD-focused motherboards at Computex 2025, including the feature-rich MEG X870E ACE and compact X870I EDGE WIFI with advanced connectivity and overclocking support. The innovative MAG Lite Vision 12 auxiliary display offers versatile 12.3-inch monitoring with easy 360mm radiator mounting for $129.

MSI showed off a range of new components at Computex 2025, including new motherboards and an interesting product that caught our eye, the MAG Lite Vision 12 auxiliary case display.

When it comes to motherboards, there was a definitely lean towards AMD products at this year's show, and MSI took the opportunity to show off a few new models. Two in particular stood out, those being the MEG X870E ACE and the feature-packed X870I EDGE TI WIFI.

The MEG X870E ACE is a new offering from MSI, and it stands out as one of the most feature-rich X870E boards money can buy. It's pretty much got the lot, with 10G LAN, five M.2 slots, a mega VRM for overclockers, USB4 and a lovely black and gold aesthetic. It's the kind of board that should serve users for years to come given AM5's expected longevity.

The X870I EDGE WIFI is a Mini-ITX offering that give away little - if anything - in terms of features. It includes three M.2 slots, USB 4, 5G LAN, and 320MHz WiFi 7. It's got dual memory slots, and MSI hinted that the board is a monster when it comes to memory overclocking. That's something that should hold it in good stead for when Zen 6 arrives.

It's a lovely-looking little board too. Silver boards tend to have a nice clean look. There was no word on pricing, but expect this one to come in at the higher end of Mini-ITX pricing given its feature set.

The MAG Lite Vision 12 is a simple, yet innovative 12.3-inch 1920 x 720 auxiliary display panel that can be installed into the mounting holes normally used for a 360mm AIO radiator. That makes it easy to install in most mid-tower cases. Or, of course, it can be used outside of a case. It can be used in a horizontal or vertical mode.

The beauty of this little display is its open nature. It connects via DisplayPort and USB, with the choice of using a case-mounted header or a Type-A port. There's no proprietary connector in sight. The Vision Lite 12 is integrated into the MSI Center app, and it can be used to show monitoring information as you might see on something like an AIO head-mounted display. It can also be used as a secondary display.

It's a simple way to add some class to a build with a transparent side panel, yet its versatility and 360mm mounting capability are what really impressed us. Best of all is the tentative $129 USD price.
