Computex is always the time of year when we see some interesting new case designs, and what caught my eye this year was a new case by Lian Li, specifically the Lancool 4.

Lian Lian, a known leader in the PC case space, introduced me to the new case and explained the thought process behind the new intuitive design. The glaring head-turner here is that Lian Li has cut massive holes into the front panel of the case, which is tempered glass, and placed three intake fans.
I asked Lian Li about this, and the company said the idea was to enable buyers to enjoy the three glass panels that offer a panoramic view of the case, but also provide a unique way to include three fans with the case to separate the Lancool 4 from other competition on the market.
It certainly has separated it, as the Lancool 4, with its three pre-installed 140mm intake fans, makes for an extremely interesting, intuitive design language. Notably, the entire front panel can be removed by easily pulling it off. Additionally, the Lancool 4 comes with support for vertical PSU mounting, enabling the bottom chamber to have more space for air circulation, which impacts GPU cooling. The Lancool 4 is scheduled to become available in October 2025 for $129.99.
